Cat sitter 🐈
I have been around cats my whole life. Since I was young, I’ve looked after stray cats in the neighborhood—domesticating them, caring for them, and making sure they were safe. Over the years, we’ve fostered many kittens, but one of the most special experiences was raising a 2-day-old kitten after its mother passed away from birth complications. In high school, we adopted our first indoor cat, but we also cared for several outdoor cats who stayed in our garden because we were feeding them regularly. Right now, I have three cats back home—Fur, Tail, and Tula. Recently, someone left four kittens at our doorstep—Pepper, Salt, Psixulo, and Valentina—so we’re raising them until they find their forever homes. They all live in my home country, and I really miss them. That’s why I’d love to do cat sitting here—I genuinely enjoy spending time with cats and taking care of them like they’re my own.

Anna-Marie and Carlos were incredible cat sitters! They went above and beyond to make sure my cats were comfortable happy and loved! They kept updated with photos videos and messages constantly which was greatly appreciated! I felt so comforted that my cats were happy and healthy! Would highly recommend and will definitely be reaching out to them again! They were also very lovely and kind people!!
Anna Marie and Carlos were absolutely brilliant with my cat, Nella. She was incredibly well looked after and content in their company. I loved receiving daily updates and photos, which gave me total peace of mind while I was away. I couldn't have asked for better sitters, I’ll definitely be booking them again, thank you so much!
I honestly can’t recommend Anna-Marie (and Carlos!) enough. We’ve now used them twice to look after Dijon while we were away, and they have been amazing both times. They send daily photos, videos and updates, and it’s clear they really care about his wellbeing. Their flat is spotless, and we always feel great knowing he is in such good hands. Dijon also seems to enjoy it very much, I think he sees it as his own little holiday!
Anna-Marie and Carlos provided the absolute best care for our young cat Saturn. He was very nervous (as were we!) but soon felt right at home. Anna-Marie shared daily updates showing Saturn coming out of his shell and by the end he’d even been taught to sit! We would use Anna-Marie again in a heartbeat.
Anna Marie and Carlos looked after our 4-month-old kitten for 10 days while we were away, and we felt so reassured the whole time. They welcomed my wife and me to visit beforehand, which meant a lot, and their flat is clean, calm and perfect for cats. We received so many lovely updates and photos, it was clear he was not just being cared for but genuinely loved, played with and even taught a few little commands! He came back happy, relaxed and very clearly attached to them. We are so grateful, and we would not hesitate for a second to leave him with them again!
Anna and Carlos are great, fully recommend, great communication, lots of updates and most importantly and loving home !

Schedule
I am currently working remotely during weekdays office hours and the rest of the day I am free. During weekends I am free all day.

Safety, trust & environment
I live with my husband, Carlos in a 2 bed apartment. I don't currently have another pet in my house, there is no balcony or garden to have any risks of safety. They can go anywhere in the house, I don't have any restrictions (unless advised otherwise). I like to play with toys to keep them entertained but also give them space so they can decide how to spend their time. Game time is important so they release any energy and allow us to build a relationship. I brush the fur and massage the head to calm them down unless they feel uncomfortable. You need to assess the cat and see what they like to do and go with it. This is a daily routine especially for cats with long fur (unless advised otherwise). I clean what is in the litter every time is happening (locally) so they have a clean environment and top up only if required (the owner to advise). I wash their dishes in every meal. I refresh the water as often as possible, as cats like to drink fresh water from their nature. I like to keep them cosy, so I provide them with pillows and blankets or boxes. I always advise to bring some of their favourite toys or blankets so they have/ smell something familiar. Lastly, I use Indorex for fleas or other insects after every cat booking to protect my home and future cats and ensure a clean and safe environment!
A typical day
We usually start the day with food and then some energisers. I love playing with strings or ropes. This is our energiser and then I have loads teaser sticks with bird, fish and feathers. Then we would do some interactive activities, some cats have commands to practise or puzzles with treats or other toys where they need to try and take out the treat. I also have a cat laser (if it is ok with the owner to use) and many boxes for the cat to hide, relax or play. We often play hide and speak behind doors or run around. This is particularly helpful for cats with high energy. Then of course some petting and grooming time if the cat permits! I am also open to any suggestions if there is a fun activity the owner does with their pet. Lastly, all these are fun activities but if the cat prefers to relax or sleep, I will respect and give her personal space! I have plenty comfortable places (different size of boxes, blankets in the sofa/chair/bed and some empty shelves in my wardrobe for total piece and quiet)!

- Please provide any relevant information about your cat for example if they have any issues with the food or the water if they don't like something or what upsets them that would not be a case normally. I have many different toys but I will be needing their food and litter/litter box. As this is very personal to each cat so I don't actually have spare.
