Unfortunately people move or their personal circumstances changed and we ended up needing someone new again. We have seen a lot of sitters but when we found Jon, we had that immediate gut feeling that he was the right person for our boy and we were absolutely right. We went on holiday with complete peace of mind, knowing Charlie was in the best possible hands. Honestly, we couldn’t have found anyone better, even if we tried. When you know your dog as well as we know Charlie, you can tell from photos whether they’re truly happy and all we saw was pure joy. Charlie has stomach issues, so his diet needs to be followed very carefully, and Jon and his partner handled everything perfectly. Now that Charlie is back home, it genuinely looks like he had an even better holiday than we did full of cuddles, walks, and sunshine! Thank you so much, Jon and Matt. About: We are a family of dog and pet lovers and have had our own dogs for many years. We have Snoopy (beagle) at home and have reared him since he was 8wks old. He loves lounging at home with his family and meeting other dogs on his tours of the local area / community. We are home based (self employed) and have an enclosed garden for Snoopy to show your pooch around. Husband and wife both work from home so give lots of attention to our four legged companions. Regular walkies plus enclosed garden at any other playtime… The dogs are never left on their own as we both work from home. Snoopy, our beagle is well socialised and will welcome other dogs into our home. We have an enclosed garden that the dogs have full access to.

About: Hello fellow animal lovers! My name is Brendan and I live in the centre of Richmond with my wife and our two adorable and very friendly dogs. I've had them for 6 and 7 years respectively and before that also had 3 cats and various other pets when I was younger. I absolutely love being around pets, especially dogs as my wife and I spent a lot of time with our wonderful dogs over the last few years thanks to our flexible working circumstances, meaning that I especially get to be at home with them a lot and am now happy to share that availabilty with other fellow pet parents. About: I have been a life long dog lover and just recently got my own fur baby, a 6 month old miniature dachshund named Cadbury. I got Cadbury when he was just 11 weeks old so I have experience taking care of small puppies. About: I’ve been surrounded by animals for most of my life, and caring for pets has always felt natural to me. Growing up, our family home was full of life with dogs, and that experience shaped how comfortable and attentive I am with animals of different personalities. We had two dogs in particular who left a lasting impression on me. My sister had a cocker spaniel who was affectionate and playful, and later during my university years I had a Weimaraner—full of energy and always ready for adventure. He and I quickly bonded over our shared love of morning runs, so I’m especially confident handling active, high-energy dogs who need both physical exercise and mental stimulation. More recently, our family welcomed a cockapoo who still lives with my sister, and I’ve remained closely involved in caring for him whenever I visit. Overall, I’m calm, reliable, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals—whether that’s going for a long walk, keeping them company at home, or making sure they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. My setup works really well for pet care — I'm based at home the majority of the week, with just one day out that can flex depending on what's needed. That means I'm available for boarding almost any day, weekends included. Plenty of calm company, no rush, no stress. I live in a third floor flat, so no escape risks and a nice calm environment away from the chaos of the street. The building has a fenced garden which is great for a bit of fresh air, and if your pet needs a longer stretch, Richmond Park is just around the corner — hard to beat. No other pets in the flat, so your cat or dog gets the full run of the place and all of our attention. My 10 year old daughter absolutely loves animals, so they'll have a little devoted fan following them around too.
About: Growing up I always have had dogs in the house, and my partner and I are so excited for the day when we can have one of our own. With a background in dog training, which, when younger, took me to Crufts to compete at the YKC Heelwork To Music competition, I'm great with dogs and can tailor my service based on their (and your) needs. About: I started looking after furry friends to help my anxiety and I’m now completely in love with dogs of any shape and size. I’ve met a range of dogs that live near to me in Richmond Hill that I walk and/or look after in my home regularly. I love creating a bond with the dog I'm spending time with and making them feel comfortable with me I typically work at home 3 days a week and have a pretty relaxed schedule so am able to take dogs out when they need. I love an early morning walk but can also take out at lunchtime or after 5.30 in the summer. I’m also usually around at the weekend for walks or sitting which I love as it means I can give my full attention to the dog. I live in a spacious flat with lots of room for playing and any toys or beds they bring with them. I’m gentle and loving with the dogs I look after and give lots of cuddles, but will always take into account any behaviours or boundaries your dog has. When walking dogs I’m very focused on the dog and my surroundings especially when off lead.

About: Have very frequently looked after friends and neighbours’ cats and dogs since 14 years old. As a student, I don’t have pets of my own but have always wanted one (not picky though my sister adores cats). Some of my pet sitting experience includes looking after cats for months at a time, as well as sitting for a friend with 3 dogs. I am very good at adapting to pets’ specific needs and just really enjoy looking after them in general :) I’m currently on my post A-Level Summer holiday and apart from a couple weeks of travelling I should be mostly free to cat/dog sit. When walking dogs I take them to large parks to play and exercise, taking them along routes away from main roads where possible. With cats, I’m more than happy to stick around and play with them to help de-stress if you’re away. Also able to clean litter trays etc.
About: I have lived with dogs and cats and the occasional hamster my whole life and adore them. I have looked after people’s pets many times throughout Covid but had to stop for a couple of years due to some work commitments. However, my availability has opened up and am very eager to get back to helping out. I am a 29 year old Pilates instructor in Richmond and Barnes. I have a flexible schedule, especially during the daytime and am excited to look after your cat or dog! I am a Pilates instructor, therefore I mostly work early mornings and have the rest of the day free. The only day I work from morning to evening, are Tuesdays. I live in the heart of Richmond and love to make use of all the green spaces. I am incredibly reliable and trusting. About: 30 year old dog lover living in Richmond. I I grew up with dogs from aged 8, we went through 3 generations! We had 5 litters with two of them and it was an incredible experience to grow up with. I love dogs so much but it’s not the right time for us to have one of our own, so I’d love to help out to whoever needs it. We often dog sit for my partners family dogs, and my sisters’ dogs. Very confident looking after and caring for dogs and would love to have a furry friend join me on my daily walks. I work from home Monday/Wednesday/Friday, in office on Tuesday and Thursday but not mandatory. I go for walks at lunchtime everyday, and often after work. We have a small courtyard garden and short walk away from Richmond park / the river. Plenty of space for a crate. We don’t currently have any pets of our own.

We have seen a lot of sitters but when we found Jon, we had that immediate gut feeling that he was the right person for our boy and we were absolutely right. We went on holiday with complete peace of mind, knowing Charlie was in the best possible hands. Honestly, we couldn’t have found anyone better, even if we tried. When you know your dog as well as we know Charlie, you can tell from photos whether they’re truly happy and all we saw was pure joy. Charlie has stomach issues, so his diet needs to be followed very carefully, and Jon and his partner handled everything perfectly. About: My wife and I love animals and have had our current dog Remi now for 5 years. I have gone through a lot of training with Remi including gun dog training, so I am competent in reinforcing commands and behaviour. I like to make sure dogs are engaged on in my care, in whatever way is best suited to the dog. Some dogs really engage with the ball, others enjoy a some level of training or some enjoy a gentle stroll with a bit of inquisitive sniffing about. There are some great walking spots across this area and I am very happy to help take your lovely dog out for their walk. We have a secure fenced garden where your dog can enjoy some outdoor time when boarding or doggy day care, and they will enjoy a loving home while they are here. I am currently doing freelance work at home so my schedule is pretty flexible. I am generally available for dog walks, drop in visits, boarding and doggy day care on weekdays. I will always walk in a park in the local area, and I will make sure we talk about anything specific your dog needs on their walk (on/off lead, commands, treats, walk routine, behaviour around other dogs/people etc) so we are both comfortable with everything. If you are ok with it my dog Remi will join us on the walk, but no problem if you want your dog to have a solo walk.
