Hi, I’m Andrew, I really love spending time with dogs and was a co-dogparent with my partner to two adopted ex-racing greyhounds for over 10 years. Since then we have enjoyed spending time walking other peoples’ dogs and having them stay with us in the house.

Andrew took fantastic care of my lab, Rufus! He came back to us with a very shiny coat and happy disposition. We got a lot of photo and video updates showing him out on walks and playing, and Andrew was always quick to respond and happy to accommodate. Highly recommend Andrew!

We were delighted how well our cockapoo Millie was looked after. We did not want to use kennels as she prefers human company. Andrew was fantastic from start to finish showing us where Millie would stay for a week. One of our highlights each morning were the pictures and videos we received - when you see your pet running around wagging their tail you know your dog is well looked after and cared for. Certainly would recommend Andrew to anyone - your dog will be loved and very well catered for
Andrew looked after our 14 year old Cavapoochon Missy May on a very hot day! He was so diligent and caring making sure her wet jacket was often wet and cool and providing fans for her to sit in front of. He communicated with us throughout the day by sending pictures so we had peace of mind all was well! She really loved her visit and can’t wait to go back. I can highly recommend Andrew!
I first met Andrew as a fellow dog owner whilst out walking our respective dogs. I warmed to him immediately due to his friendly nature and clear devotion to his two greyhounds (now sadly passed) and as I got to know him better, I witnessed his genuine care and respect for all animals, nature and the environment. Andrew is kind and attentive, has a genuine rapport with dogs and I cannot recommend him highly enough as a pet caregiver

Schedule
I work from home most of the time and am always present when boarding, perhaps going out briefly once a day on errands. My partner is often home and loves dogs, so double attention and interaction for our guests at those times!

Safety, trust & environment
In our house there are lots of soft places for dogs to enjoy. Our garden is fully secure and available for guests to explore at their convenience. We have no children or pets of our own. During boarding times, our guests are our top priority and we are diligent in catering to individual needs.
A typical day
When a guest is awake I will always be interacting with them in some way. Whether playing, cuddling or simply talking to them. I respond to an individual’s energy and preference for interaction so they get the stimulation they need or have the sense of security they require. I’m a keen gardener and often have a dog following me about as I work, snoozing in the shade nearby or accompanying me to the allotment. In between activities our home is very calm and cosy for snoozing. I love walking in the local area, both in the streets and local parks, as well as along the canal, on the moor and in woodland. The nature and length of walks are catered to our guests’ particular preferences or limitations.
