Peanut is a friendly resident Vizsla, and I like to arrange a meet beforehand so we can make sure the dogs are comfortable together and I can learn about your dog's personality and routine. Before their first stay, we'll discuss everything I need to know, including feeding, medication if applicable, sleeping arrangements, lead and recall requirements, behaviour around other dogs and anything that might make them anxious or unsettled. I'm an experienced animal owner of dogs, so I'm very comfortable reading behaviour and adjusting how I handle an animal rather than assuming every dog is the same. I'll follow your instructions carefully and keep you updated while you're away, including photos, so you can see that your dog is happy and settled.
“Stephen took wonderful care of my dog, Buddy, during his 5-day stay. Since Buddy is an older dog, I was specifically looking for someone experienced who could provide a calm home environment without other pets, and Stephen was the perfect choice. He was very caring and attentive to Buddy’s needs, especially during the very hot weather. Stephen made sure Buddy stayed comfortable throughout his stay. Buddy also sheds a lot during this season, and despite his house being full of Buddy’s hair, Stephen was very kind and understanding about it. He suggested to take Buddy to a groomer for coat shave. It showed how genuinely concerned he was for Buddy’s comfort and wellbeing. Overall, Buddy had a very comfortable, safe, and caring stay with Stephen. Thank you, Stephen, for taking such great care of Buddy while we were away on holiday.”
About: I have taken care of cats for 10+ years. I am a full time nanny with experience of caring for two dogs and two cats. The family also have snakes, lizards and a tortoise. I am happy to handle and care for reptiles/small animals. I have 10 years experience of being a pet owner :) I work full time Monday - Thursday 9am - 6pm. I am free in evenings after 7 if required although would prefer Friday - Sunday I live in a flat in a cul de sac. It’s a very nice and quiet area and has lots of greenery outside for walks. I enjoyed volunteering at a few local animal rescue centres where I walked dogs needing homes and also played with pups. Over the last few years I have helped out a few friends while they were away by looking after their dogs and also cats. The dogs have at least two one hour walks a day and are cleaned after each walk as paws can get very muddy sometimes! I have been helping with feeding cats while their owner is away. I stay a little while at the owners house to play with the cats, make sure all 3 cats have eaten their food and that they have fresh water. I monitor their well being and make sure they have no injury or sickness (checking poo for dogs).

About: Neil and I are passionate animal lovers offering a calm, loving environment for dog boarding. We cared for our Beagle for 12 wonderful years before she sadly passed away due to illness, which gave me valuable experience with dog care, routines, and companionship. Since Buddy is an older dog, I was specifically looking for someone experienced who could provide a calm home environment without other pets, and Stephen was the perfect choice. He was very caring and attentive to Buddy’s needs, especially during the very hot weather. Stephen made sure Buddy stayed comfortable throughout his stay. Buddy also sheds a lot during this season, and despite his house being full of Buddy’s hair, Stephen was very kind and understanding about it. He suggested to take Buddy to a groomer for coat shave. It showed how genuinely concerned he was for Buddy’s comfort and wellbeing. Overall, Buddy had a very comfortable, safe, and caring stay with Stephen. About: I have had dogs my whole life so very experienced with all breeds. I live in an area where the dogs will get daily long countryside walks. There is somebody at home 24/7 so your dog will never be alone by themselves. I can pick up/ drop off if need be as I'm a taxi driver in London so I'm insured to carry pets. I'm available for boarding for as long as needed. The whole family are experienced with dogs. My 20 year old daughter is a dog groomer. I work from 3am to 10am and then I home all day. My wife is at home 24/7 so they will never be left alone. We will treat your loved one as if it's our own so any requirements that you have will be ok. We often look after friends dogs and they are so happy that we decided to do it full time. I have a large fenced garden. The only way in and out of the garden is through the house so it's extremely secure. Your pet will have the run of the house unless you request that they do not go upstairs.

About: I’ve had a wide variety of experience with different pets from a very young age. I have owned and taken care of reptiles, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, dogs, cats etc. In the past few years I have become more relied on to dog sit, walk and do check ins for family and friends but have recently expanded out to dog walking and sitting for a owner local to my area each week. I currently have 3 dogs of my own. A jack russel, Chihuahua and a Labrador. My labrador is only 1 so the past year has been very focused on trying to train her. Please note I do not house my pets in my own property, they live with my parents. I currently work full time as an estate agent, on a 2 week flip rotation. I have 1 in every 2 Tuesdays off in place of working shorter hours on a Saturday. Weekdays I work 9-6 Saturdays I work 9-4:30. I can be flexible with pet sits around this☺️ I care for other people’s dogs in their homes fairly frequently. I have done many short stay sits and also longer ones as up to 14 days. I have always been able to accommodate whatever you and your pet needs from me while they’re in my care.
