“Luca took amazing care of my dog Milo, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Milo settled in quickly and seemed really happy and relaxed in his care. I would absolutely recommend Luca to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter. Milo will definitely be staying with him again!”
“Excellent communication whilst she looked after our dog Buddy, we were updated continuously, with messages, pictures and even videos, Buddy returned home happy and well looked after. Will be using again for future stays and have discussed walks during working hours for Buddy. Lovely, friendly family with a nice, clean, house with access to an outdoor space and listened and asked any additional questions.”

About: I've had dogs my whole life, starting when I was just 6 years old. I'm a proud owner of three dogs: Jimmy, an 11 year old Labrador; Blue, a 9 year old German Shepherd; and Scotch, a 9 year old Cocker Spaniel. Having owned large and small breeds across very different temperaments, I understand how to handle dogs of all kinds -energetic, calm, anxious, or senior. My dogs currently live with my family, and while I miss them dearly, it's exactly why I love spending time with other people's dogs. You can trust me to treat your pet like my own. I'm currently fully available, which means I can be flexible around your schedule rather than the other way around. I'm happy to walk dogs any day of the week, mornings, afternoons, or evenings, just let me know what works best for you and your pet. Your dog's safety is my top priority on every walk. I keep dogs on lead unless in a designated off-lead area, always carry water and waste bags, and never walk more than a small group at once to ensure each dog gets proper attention. Having owned and cared for three dogs of my own: a Labrador, a German Shepherd, and a Cocker Spaniel. I'm confident and calm with dogs of all sizes and temperaments.
“Sarah and her family were excellent! Communication throughout was great. Sarah was very friendly and engaging, by sending regular messages and photos, which reassured us. Would recommend very highly!”

“Aleks is absolutely amazing and am so pleased to have found someone to look after Obi whenever we are away. He was made to feel a part of their family and we received pictures and videos on a daily basis so I knew he was having a great time. Thank you so much, Obi will definitely be seeing you again soon! X”

“Isabelle's home is spacious and open planned with garden access. Luna was free to move around and explore which helped her to settle; Isabelle has a calming nature and we felt ok leaving. Luna is a strong and determined young lady and not fully trained with street walking, so were so pleased that they managed to be out and about as she pulls a lot. I was pleased to receive timely replies to all our check in messages, especially as Luna had been fussy with her food leading up to her stay away. I would recommend Isabelle because she survived Luna! Thank you”

“Many thanks to Amanda for looking after Teddy so well - dog boarding for 4 nights. He was welcomed into her home and treated as if he was her own - Amanda’s own two lovely dogs were also very welcoming to Teddy. It seemed as if he had been on his own little holiday with lovely walks across the fields and lots of attention. I picked him up tired but clearly very content. Amanda kept me updated throughout with updates and photos and was quick to respond to my messages on dates. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and I know Teddy will be very pleased to go back again- thank you!”

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life, having grown up with family dogs, including our much-loved Golden Retriever who sadly is no longer with us. I understand how important it is to find someone who will care for your dog as if they were part of the family. Our dog-loving household is also home to two gentle, respectful children ( ages 4 and 7) who absolutely adore dogs. Your pet will receive lots of attention, affection and playtime in a safe, loving environment. We also have a large, secure garden where dogs can run, explore and burn off energy, as well as plenty of opportunities for walks, cuddles and companionship. Whether your dog enjoys playing, relaxing or simply being around people, I’ll make sure they feel happy, comfortable and well cared for while you’re away. I know every dog has their own personality and routine, and I’ll always do my best to keep them feeling settled and at home. Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine. I work part-time, which gives me the flexibility to provide plenty of attention, companionship and regular toilet breaks throughout the day. Our family enjoys being outdoors, so walks and playtime are already part of our lifestyle. Your dog would be treated as part of the family, with lots of love, interaction and time spent in our large, secure garden. I understand how important routine is for dogs, so I’m happy to follow their usual feeding, walking and sleeping schedule to help them feel settled and comfortable while you’re away. Weekends are generally relaxed and family-focused, meaning there’s even more time for walks, play and cuddles. My aim is to provide a safe, happy and caring home where your dog feels loved and well looked after. Providing a safe, calm and loving environment is my top priority. My home has a large, secure, fully enclosed garden where dogs can play safely, and they’ll always be supervised while outdoors. Inside, they’ll be treated as part of the family with plenty of attention, affection and a comfortable place to relax. I understand that every dog has their own routine and personality, so I’ll take the time to follow your instructions carefully, whether that’s feeding schedules, medication, walking preferences or favourite toys. I’ll also keep you updated with regular messages and photos, so you can relax knowing your dog is happy, safe and well cared for while you’re away. I know how much pets mean to their owners, and I’ll care for yours with the same love, patience and respect I’d want for my own.

“5* Wonderful experience with Samira. She took amazing care of Fifi whilst we were away. Could easily tell Fifi was happy, relaxed, and well looked after. Samira was reliable, communicative, incredibly kind to Fifi and sent us photos/videos everyday. I would highly recommend Samira to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy pet sitter :)”

“It was our second time using Ayca as our cat sitter. She went the extra mile looking after Ollie, playing and cuddling with him! We would be using Ayca going forward and would highly recommend her.”

“Aaliyah was so good with our two kittens, very responsive eventhough we had a lot of requests beforehand and all around very good with the kittens. I would 100% rebook her going forward as I truly trust them with her 😊”

About: I'm the world's greatest dog fan, and cats are cool too! I'd love to spend time with your pet and give it the love and attention it needs. I've had dogs in my life from a very young age and understand that they are not just a pet; they are equal members of a family and have their own individual personalities and characteristics. Whenever I see a dog my eyes light-up and I want to interact and talk to it. I have previously been told by some dog-owners that their dog behaves more open and socially towards me when meeting me, and I believe that this is because dogs have a sixth sense; they just know when they are meeting a true lover of dogs. Cats I adore for their often independent behaviour. I had cat in my family when I was a child, who was named Girlie. I have previous experience of caring for friend's and neighbour's cats (both roaming and indoor-cats) and I understand that they also can have their own habits and ways of living.

“I couldn’t have asked for a better person to look after my beloved cat! Maya’s communication was absolutely amazing throughout, and she sent me photos and updates every single day, which gave me so much reassurance while I was away. She also came in at the all the times and days I required, which I really appreciated as my senior cat Chi requires medication twice a day, and Maya took everything on board without any issues. She made sure she received her medication as instructed and stuck to her usual routine, which meant so much to me. It’s clear she genuinely loves and cares for animals, and I came home to a happy, relaxed cat who has made a new friend! I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and compassionate to look after their precious cat. Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of my girl!”

“We came home to a very happy cat who had been reliably fed, played with, and kept company while we were away. Jamie is a great sitter who takes care to make sure the animals he looks after are interacted with as well as having their basic needs met. This was really important to us at this time of year so that we wouldn't come home to any mess caused by a bored cat!! Thanks Jamie, we appreciate it.”

“Mel continue to be a reliable sitter for us - we always use her for drop-in visits for our cat while we are away on holiday, and she always visits on time and makes sure that Kona is well looked-after. Thanks Mel!”

About: I grew up with a couple of mixed breed dogs, I've walked my neighbours dogs as a teenager and also more recently. I enjoyed volunteering at a few local animal rescue centres where I walked dogs needing homes and also played with pups. Over the last few years I have helped out a few friends while they were away by looking after their dogs and also cats. The dogs have at least two one hour walks a day and are cleaned after each walk as paws can get very muddy sometimes! I have been helping with feeding cats while their owner is away. I stay a little while at the owners house to play with the cats, make sure all 3 cats have eaten their food and that they have fresh water. I monitor their well being and make sure they have no injury or sickness (checking poo for dogs).

About: I have been around animals my whole life and have experience caring for many different pets including dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, rats, fish, and birds. I am confident with feeding, walking, playtime, cleaning, and giving pets attention and comfort. I understand that every animal has a different personality and needs patience, care, and trust. I genuinely love animals and always make sure they feel safe and well looked after.

“Elena was amazing! She was super helpful, sent me photos during every visit and made me feel relaxed about leaving my cat for the first time. Everything was left clean and tidy when I got home too. I would definitely recommend! ”

“Elena took wonderful care of my cat, Mochi, while I was away. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and clearly very experienced with animals. Mochi can be shy, but she quickly felt comfortable with Elena — which says a lot. I really appreciated the updates and the care she showed not just to Mochi but to the home as well. I returned to a happy, relaxed, and well-looked-after kitty (full of zoomies!). I wouldn’t hesitate to book Elena again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and loving pet sitter. Thank you so much, Elena 💛”

About: My previous dog, Dylan, passed away at 18 and a half, so I am very familiar with senior dogs. I have also owned snakes, bearded dragons, Russian dwarf hamsters - I will look after any animal. I am currently working for Dogs Trust as a canine carer and adoption advisor, I was also previously a kennel and cattery manager for just under a year caring for dogs, cats and everything in between. Prior to that I was a veterinary care assistant for around a year. I have a level 2 diploma in animal care and an access to higher education diploma in veterinary science. I am experienced with behaviours and quirks and am more than happy to take on extra behaviours if informed before hand! I work full time on a shift rota, my availability looks really slim but feel free to message me as I can do pop ins before and after work too! I currently work full time at dogs trust so please check my calendar before booking, as I only have a couple days a week off. However, I am on a rota so I can do routine days, most evenings and early mornings when I am working. I do not offer home boarding as my garden isn’t secure but, I am more than happy to stay or visit your house and it offers the comfort of your own home for your pet. I will happily follow any rules you have in place for me to care for your animal and your home.
“I can’t recommend lisa and Alex enough. They stayed in our home for 2 weeks and our pets and house were so well looked after. They sent sent daily photos which often showed my fur babies stretched out on top of lisa giving cuddles, showing how much they had bonded. The house was well looked after and we came back to a clean well kept home. As soon as we met them they made us feel confident about their experience and love of animals. I would definitely recommend them to look after your pets and home.”

About: Although I’m new to Rover, I have experience in owning animals of all kinds, from cats to pups and even geckos. I’ve done local dog walking for over 5 years, and love spending time training and bonding with pups! I can also arrange pick up and drop off in Herts/beds. I’ve owned cats since I was a child and have a lot of experience with handling them. I’m currently at home for the summer holidays, so I’m looking to spend some time with your dog! My schedule would totally depend on your dog, whether they’d be up for a fun hike, or whether they’d prefer a cuddly slow paced day. I love making pets feel like part of the family while they’re with me. My home has a secure 6 foot fenced garden, cosy memory foam beds and lots of fresh water bowls around the house. Dogs can enjoy supervised garden time (weather permitting), plenty of fuss, and a calm place to relax. There are no children at home, so pets can settle in and feel comfortable during their stay.

“This was the first time we ever left our dog with anyone else so we were quite unsure. We are so lucky that we found Inga who is extremely professional, kind and accommodative. We left her for about 8 hours and she sent photos, videos and messages every now and then with all details of her movements, activities, her nature, her eating and also gave advice on many things. She treated her like one of her two own dogs and cleaned her ears generously. She kindly gave Luna a bag of apples to take home which we were not expecting and which Luna loves to eat. She accepted our request for day care at a very last minute and very willingly. We are beyond satisfied and definitely would bring Luna to her again and highly recommend her to other dog owners looking for boarding and day care. We are very grateful to Inga for everything she has done in just a few hours, it gave us peace of mind and trust!”

About: Hi! I’m Livia, I have a lifelong passion for animal care and a natural ability to understand what pets need to feel safe and happy. For years, my friends and family have trusted me to look after their beloved pets, manage their daily routines, and take them on engaging walks. I understand that every pet has a unique personality. I specialise in patient, intuitive care and have experience working with sensitive animals. In fact, I successfully helped a friend's anxiously attached dog become significantly more confident, social, and happy after just one week of structured, loving care. Whether your pet needs high-energy exercise, structured routine, or just a calm and patient companion, I am dedicated to providing a safe, comfortable, and stress-free environment tailored to their exact needs. I have recently finished college and have chosen to focus on my home-based side hustles rather than rushed traditional employment. Because I work entirely from home on my own schedule, I am in the house pretty much all day, every day. I am not attending university, meaning I have a massive amount of free time both now and moving forward. Aside from occasional short outings with friends or family, my schedule is completely open and flexible. This routine allows me to easily structure my entire day around a pet's needs. I can offer constant companionship, frequent toilet breaks, structured feeding times, and long walks exactly when your pet requires them. Your pet will rarely be left alone and will receive dedicated love and attention throughout the day. In my home, I have a good setup with plenty of indoor space for a dog to safely chill, play, eat, and have fun. Out back, I have a good sized, fully fenced garden where dogs can stretch their legs safely. A unique feature of my home is our secure summer house in the garden. It is the perfect spot for dogs who want to enjoy the outdoor atmosphere while remaining safe and enclosed inside. Because the summer house has lockable doors, it can also function as a spacious, comfortable "luxury crate" setup. If a dog gets overwhelmed, needs a quiet space to decompress, or simply wants some alone time, this separate space works perfectly to help them relax. I always adapt my approach to what the pet needs—giving them constant attention or allowing them peaceful boundaries whenever they need it.
“Sarah was absolutely brilliant with Donnie. She graciously accommodated our last minute booking. Thank you for being patient with her and for the lovely pics and updates. Donnie had a fun day out.”

About: I have had pets since the age of 7 and frequently cat sit my sister’s ragdoll as well as having my own cat who I adopted. I have also helped to raise kittens and have dog walked friend’s dogs. I have cared for a deaf kitten on multiple occasions and also looked after a blind elderly cat for an extended period of time. I am able to adjust well to any needs and I hope my reviews help to highlight my experiences well. I have a large high fenced garden and live in a 5 bed bungalow allowing plenty of space for pets to run around freely in a safe environment both indoors and outdoors. I have a ring doorbell and CCTV surrounding the property also to insure your pet’s safety. Updates are given regularly via message and photos to give you peace of mind. When house sitting I will keep the property clean and tidy and insure that I leave it to the best standard possible. Any instructions given will be noted and followed.

About: Neil and I are passionate animal lovers offering a calm, loving environment for dog boarding. We cared for our Beagle for 12 wonderful years before she sadly passed away due to illness, which gave me valuable experience with dog care, routines, and companionship. We’ve also looked after family dogs including Cockapoos and Labradors, and regularly care for our neighbours’ cats and dogs while they are away on holiday. Since we’re not quite ready for another dog of our own yet, Rover feels like the perfect way to continue sharing our home and care with dogs. I work from home full-time, and Neil predominantly works from home as well, so there will almost always be one or both of us at home with any boarded dogs throughout their stay. We have a large living area with patio doors leading to a secure, fenced grass garden that dogs can enjoy all year round. Because we work from home, we’re able to give dogs plenty of attention, companionship, and regular toilet breaks throughout the day. We can also take dogs out for walks during breaks, lunch, and in the evenings, so it’s very normal for dogs staying with us to enjoy up to three walks a day depending on their needs and routine. We’re also happy to adapt to older dogs or those who prefer a slower pace and quieter routine. Neil and I provide a safe, calm, and loving home environment where dogs are treated like part of the family. As one or both of us work from home most days, dogs are rarely left alone and receive plenty of attention, regular walks, playtime, and care throughout their stay. We have a secure fenced grass garden and always follow each owner’s routines and preferences carefully, including feeding, walks, medication, and any special requirements. We’re also happy to provide regular updates and photos for peace of mind while owners are away.

Right now I have my own small dog German Spitz klein called Coco, he is friendly with other dogs and love to play! Shares his toys as well 😁 So we are going on long walks, we play in the park and at home with toys etc. Now we have lot of free time to spend our time with other doggies or cats :). I can do basic grooming as well. I respect the rules of how to take care of pets as my dog is trained and I understand the importance of consistency of training and commands.
About: Hi! I’m a caring and reliable dog lover with experience looking after dogs of different sizes and personalities. I have a dog of my own, so I understand how important it is to make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I genuinely love spending time with dogs — whether that’s going on walks, playing, giving cuddles, or simply keeping them company. I’ll always treat your dog like part of the family and make sure they get plenty of attention, care, and affection. I’m responsible, patient, and happy to follow any routines or special instructions to keep your pup happy and comfortable. I’d love the opportunity to care for your dog and give you peace of mind while you’re away! I’m currently looking to work part time and i have availability on weekends and weekdays between 11am and 3pm for walkies around the area for as long as the dog needs! I can also pick the dog up and the dog can also stay at my house, however my availability and timings vary so message me specifically! Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have experience caring for dogs and also own a dog myself, so I understand how important routine, patience, and attention are. I provide a calm, loving atmosphere where pets can feel safe and relaxed. I’m happy to follow walking routines, and any special instructions to make sure your dog is cared for exactly the way you would want.

“Helen has been walking my dog Mia for the past two months, and I am very happy with the care Helen provides! Mia is always happy to go on walks with Helen and clearly enjoys spending time with her! Helen is reliable and caring, and I trust her to take good care of Mia. I also really appreciate the updates with photos after each walk in the Rover cards, which are always lovely to receive. I would happily recommend Helen to anyone looking for a dependable and thoughtful dog walker!”

About: I always look after my sisters cat when her and her fiancé go away. I also have cat sat for other family members when needed but never been paid for it. I have looked after friends dogs and taken them for walks when they have been unable too. I work full time and study. But I have flexibility to move things and also am trying to prioritise my fitness in terms of getting out more. My cat has a cat flap which we can lock if needed. She has got loads of scratch posts to use. I always lock my sisters cat in at night as he gets into fights and can be loud outside as per her instruction and switch up his food as he gets fussy quickly.
“Jamie's communications are prompt and thorough (just as you need when arranging care for your dog). Rex seemed to have a great time away on his walks and he came back tired (a sensation he's not intimately familiar with!). Both Rex and I recommend Jamie and we'll definitely book again.”

“Jack is very accommodating and cared well for my large dog. He kept me informed along the way and was very attentive to my pets needs. He treated my dog with care and kindness. Jack has looked after my dog a few times and will continue to do so. I greatly appreciate the help! Thank you Jack!”

“Inga was absolutely amazing with our chowski Kyro, we were a little worried as he can be difficult to walk and pulls a bit on lead, Inga is a natural with big dogs and made us feel fully comfortable to leave him in her safe hands and provided us updates on each walk. Kyro absolutely loved his walks with Inga and would always return settled and happy! Thank you Inga, will definitely be using you again in future 😊”

About: I have loved dogs my whole life. My family got our dog when I was only 3 years old. So, my whole life I cared for him, trained him, walked him and loved him. He was a small dog, but I also have experience walking bigger dogs as I’d help my friends walk their dogs occasionally. However I only take dogs below the knee and under 25Kg. I have experience with senior dogs and puppies, big dogs and small dogs. I can follow any guidance or rules you give me. I always send lots of pictures and can give updates during their stay with me. I live with my parents and older sister who love dogs just as much as me and can help with caring for them when they are home. If you choose to book with me I can promise that your dog will be safe, cared for, and loved. I am a university student, back home for the summer, so I have plenty of time on my hands and looking to earn some extra money. The front door stays closed and there would be no way for a dog to escape or be in any danger. I live with my parents and older sister who would happily help in taking care of pets.

Thank you”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better home for Dottie while we were away for two weeks! She was absolutely spoiled with love, attention, treats, and plenty of walks. It was so clear that she was treated like one of the family, and she loved every minute of her stay. The couple were absolutely amazing with Dottie and such genuinely lovely people. They kept us updated throughout with lots of photos and messages, which gave us complete peace of mind knowing she was so happy and well cared for. We came home to a very content and happy pup! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for caring, trustworthy dog sitters. Thank you both so much for taking such wonderful care of our girl! 🐾”

“Mel was great with our Hunter! We’ve never left Hunter with someone that’s not a family member so we were quite nervous but Mel was amazing! We’ve been sent lots of pics throughout and we loved seeing how great the kids were with him too. Hunter loves kids so he was in heaven. Thanks so much Mel! Hunter will definitely be back if you will have him x”

“I would like to thank Agnieszka and her lovely family for taking so much care of Luna. Wow. We were a bit worried to leave her but Agnieszka made sure she meet all Lunas needs. She kept us updates on a daily basis and her lovely family and her treated Luna as their own. She had so much fun and so much human interaction that I think she had a better holiday than we did. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts and 100% we would use Agnieszka services again and again. 5 stars its not enough, you guys deserve more . Thank you once again! 🙏🙏🙏🙏”

About: I’ve had a wide variety of experience with different pets from a very young age. I have owned and taken care of reptiles, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, dogs, cats etc. In the past few years I have become more relied on to dog sit, walk and do check ins for family and friends but have recently expanded out to dog walking and sitting for a owner local to my area each week. I currently have 3 dogs of my own. A jack russel, Chihuahua and a Labrador. My labrador is only 1 so the past year has been very focused on trying to train her. Please note I do not house my pets in my own property, they live with my parents. I currently work full time as an estate agent, on a 2 week flip rotation. I have 1 in every 2 Tuesdays off in place of working shorter hours on a Saturday. Weekdays I work 9-6 Saturdays I work 9-4:30. I can be flexible with pet sits around this☺️ I care for other people’s dogs in their homes fairly frequently. I have done many short stay sits and also longer ones as up to 14 days. I have always been able to accommodate whatever you and your pet needs from me while they’re in my care.

“Great experience with Lisa and Andy, they took really good care of my 2 dogs and gave me updates and pictures whilst I was on holiday. Will definitely use them again, highly recommend 😊”
