Hi, I’m Martha! I’m a reliable and friendly dog lover based in Hitchin, offering dog walking, drop-ins, and dog sitting. I genuinely love spending time with dogs of all personalities and energy levels. I work from home on Wednesdays and Fridays and am available on weekends, so your dog will have plenty of company, attention, and consistency throughout the day. I live right next to a park, which means lots of walks, fresh air, and space to explore. I have experience looking after dogs for friends and family and always take the time to understand each dog’s routine — whether that’s long walks, playtime, or just calm companionship. I’ll always keep you updated with regular messages and photos. My aim is to make your dog feel completely at home and cared for as if they were my own.

Ralph had a lovely time with Martha. Communication was great and gave us regular updates and pictures to let us know how he Ralph was getting on. Martha did an amazing job and kept Ralph comfortable on the hottest weekend of the year. I would definitely recommend.
Martha looked after our two boys for the day during a heatwave and she was amazing! One of our boys is quite an anxious dog, but Martha gets on really well with both of them them and they love getting attention from her! Would definitely recommend Martha to look after your dogs!
Martha was amazing! She’s really communicative and organised and she kindly even picked Ellie up from our house when our plans changed. She clearly adores dogs and Ellie adored her in return. We appreciated many pics of our happy doggo. We’ll definitely come back to Martha again!
Martha is a true animal lover and takes great care of pets in her care . She is responsible and trustworthy and treats pets as if they are her own . I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Schedule
I currently work from home on Wednesdays and Fridays and am also available on weekends, so I can give dogs plenty of attention, company, and consistency throughout the day! I’m flexible with timings for walks, drop-ins, and sitting, and can often accommodate different routines. Living right next to a large park also means I can easily fit in regular walks and outdoor time

I live in a clean, secure flat right next to a large park, so dogs have easy access to safe outdoor space for walks and exercise. I always make sure dogs are comfortable, well supervised, and settled in a calm environment. I take the time to understand each dog’s routine, preferences, and any specific needs, and I’m happy to follow feeding schedules or instructions closely. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident your dog is safe and well cared for. I’m happy to meet beforehand to make sure it’s a good fit!
