I would highly recommend Nataly to anybody that would need somebody to look after their dog or puppy while at work. She has sent photos and given updates throughout both days Luna has been with her so far, and has also given me some tips on how to keep her burning energy even when she is eating, which is great considering Luna is a very energetic 9 week old puppy. This was my first time arranging anything like this, so I was anxious at first but I am very glad that I have found Nataly to look after Luna. Luna has come back home happy each time and I will definitely be arranging more days for Luna to see Nataly!!

Jessica has been amazing and I cannot speak highly enough regarding the fantastic care she has given to my 2 dogs. This is the first time Ive left them, and I was worried about whether it was the right thing to do. Jessica quickly allayed any fears. We had a meet and greet the day before, and went out for a walk to get to know each other. Jessica is very personable, easy to chat to, and most of all so gentle and caring with dogs. I left them feeling confident about the fact they would be well looked after, and they were. I got lots of updates and pictures throughout the day, and when I went to pick up my dogs there were calm and relaxed. I would not hesitate to book again. Thank you Jessica

About: My self and my Husband Darran loves dogs, we partically love any bully breed as we have a female staffy who we have trained from a puppy, she is spayed and loves playing with other dogs, she is the soppiest dog ever! We look after friends and family dogs every year Me and my husband both work, Husband works night 6pm-6am, Husband walks the dog in the morning and I walk in the evening. I work days from home so someone is always at home. We have 3 children aged 13,11 and 6 who adore dogs. We just want to share our love for dogs by helping others, we know how hard it is getting a dog sitter so if we can help when we are available then thats all we want too do. Big fenced garden, access to all areas of the home. We have a staffy girl who loves to play with other dogs, able to seperate dogs if they dont get on

I'm reliable, patient and committed to following your pet's routine exactly as you describe it. I understand that every animal has its own personality, preferences and needs, and I'll take the time to earn their trust and help them feel comfortable and secure. Rayya was brilliant, we threw a curve ball as we needed some help with Buddy on our wedding day. Her communication and flexibility was fantastic and as always it puts our mind at ease as we know we can trust her to look after Buddy as she's a dog person. Thanks Rayya

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Daventry on Rover is £28.75 per day (as of August 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

There are 1,287 sitters on Rover for Doggy Day Care in Daventry. About 87% of Daventry sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later collection to match your Daventry commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust collection and drop-off times when needed.

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:

  • Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
  • Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
  • Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
  • Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
  • Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible

Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Sitters in East Midlands may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
