Giving your dog a home from home
Having grown up with dogs, from rescue to OAPs, I've always been around dogs. Since moving 3 years ago I've dog sat for friends and family and loved having a companion while I WFH, and love to give them lots of fuss and walks.

We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better person to look after Tilly on our wedding day. From picking her up at the venue to dropping her back the next morning, everything was just so easy and stress free. Kayleigh kept us updated with loads of photos and it was so nice seeing how happy and relaxed Tilly was. Our favourite has to be the one where she’s flat on her back, paws in the air, fast asleep - clearly feeling right at home! 100% recommend - thank you Kayleigh ☺️
Gracie and Rosie were very happy staying with Kayleigh and Dan for four nights. Lots of lovely photos, excellent communication and clearly well looked after. Look forward to them staying again

Dan & Kayleigh are dream dog-sitters. They respond to messages promptly & clearly, they’re organised & flexible, but most of all they are clearly experienced sitters, with a love of dogs. I received regular updates and lots of ‘photos during Nellie’s stay. She settled in straight away, stealing Dan’s spot on the sofa I notice (from one of the ‘photos). Thanks again both of you. From me & the dogster. You’re the best!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Another Fantastic Stay with Kayleigh and Dan! This was Buddy’s second time staying with Kayleigh and Dan, and once again, they were absolutely brilliant. Communication was excellent throughout, and we really appreciated the regular updates. Buddy had plenty of cuddles and playtime and clearly felt completely at home—just like part of the family. It’s such a comfort knowing he’s in such a loving, home-from-home environment. We can’t recommend Kayleigh and Dan highly enough and will be booking again! Wouldn’t feel comfortable leaving Buddy with anyone else. Thank you both for taking such great care of Buddy!

Schedule
I currently work hybrid, with one day per week in the office. The rest of my week is spent at home, with before work, lunch times and after work available for walks, and not many meetings so lots of time to be with your dog. I'm out two evenings per week for 1-2 hours. My partner also works hybrid so we can ensure one of us is home during the day with your dog.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced garden, and plenty of walking routes nearby. I allow dogs on sofas and upstairs (in my home office), however not in the bedroom. I love cuddles on the sofa and happy to play fetch in house or in garden. We only take on one households pets at a time, so your dog gets plenty of fuss and attention from us. For walks please provide the most secure leash method for bigger dogs in particular - a nose or body harness preferred unless your dog is very well walk trained. Please remember that while your dog is very good with you, they may try and test a strangers boundaries.
A typical day
I provide 2-3 walks per day depending on your dogs needs, and this can be on a busy route for socialising or a quieter route for a more nervous dog. Happy to set up any enrichment activities provided such as lick mats and Kong toys, and play fetch in the garden or house. Dogs are welcome to sit with me in my office while I work or chill downstairs, with regular fuss.
