About: For the last two years Ive been volunteering at Nannas animal shelter in Irthlingborough in the cattery section. I mainly take care of the kittens and former feral cats whilst Im there. The general duties include litter box cleaning and making sure there’s enough food and water for them, but I also give all the cats a little lool through to make sure there’s no injuries as sometimes they’re not the smartest animals 😂 I also have gotten amazing at getting cats to take there medications as a little bonus
About: Hey, I’ve owned pets all my life, grew up with dogs and have owned my own dogs for 5 years from a puppy. I recently rescued a young dog called Nemo, who has issues with her mobility due to a club foot. I’d love to run a doggy day care full time in the future so I’m taking the first steps towards that goal opening my home out to others. I work from home so I’m available to look after dogs throughout the day, my job involves occasional travel but I will know about this in advance, should it be a problem. I am a single mum, with a young boy called Rory. I share custody of him with his Dad so my availability varies depending on where he is. He loves dogs, and is great with them, however a toddler, my two dogs and any additional would be a bit much for me! My dogs Archer and Nemo are friendly, they absolutely love the company of other dogs and they’re always been happy to share their home when we have looked after relatives animals before. Depending on times of drop off/pick up I’m happy to take the dogs on walks along with their normal daily walks, they would love it! I currently work from home, with a small amount of travel required, which I know about in advance and can arrange pet care around this. We have an enclosed garden, stone fences all around. There is a separate dog room, to ensure maximum safety (nothing gets left lying around in there!) I work from home, so, I am on hand to let them out to play/use the toilet, and play with them as well.

About: My wife and I both grew up with dogs, we've had our own for over 3 years now. We've been sitting dogs via rover for over two years now. We like to take our dogs for a long morning walk, around 5km and a shorter afternoon walk to make sure they're well exercised. My partner and I work mostly remote, there is always one of us at home so we are very flexible with sitting and walking dogs. We have a dog of our own, we always like to have a short introduction first to ensure they get on (we haven't had any rejections yet!). We always walk the dogs at least twice a day: a long walk in the morning and a shorter walk in the afternoon. We have a fenced garden with lawn area for the dogs to sunbath and run around in.

Growing up, our family had a Springer Spaniel named Buster (from my birth until I was about 5), a Black Labrador Retriever named Roly (until my teenage years), and a Beagle named Millie. About: Growing up I’ve always been around dogs, from little chihuahua‘s to Great Danes. I frequently dog sit my grandparents yorkie when they go away, and shes old and a little reactive. I can confidently say I can care for any size dog, however if your pup is on the larger side and has reactivity issues Im not the sitter for you as I don’t have the experience or knowledge to safely care for your pup. That’s not to say big dogs are a complete no! As long as they’re friendly I’ll be happy to meet a few fur friend of any size I currently work Friday mornings part time, so plenty of time for your pets needs. Im flexible with how long I can spend with your pet, wether they need to be with me 24/7 (there is an option for them to be able to come to work with me, however it involves a lot of car travel. Please feel free to ask more about this!) or just need some company for an hour whilst your busy I currently have one cat, and shes very low maintenance. I get most of my experience from pet sitting for family members or volunteer work at shelters. I currently am able to pet sit in your own home and drop-ins for any animal, as well as solo walks for dogs (group walks can be discussed if the dogs know each other well or live together!) “I booked Vicky to look after my dog Charlie whilst away for 8 days on a family holiday. I was anxious and concerned about leaving him as he is an older boy with some health issues and a recent diagnosis of dementia. Vicky invited me and Charlie to meet her prior to confirming the booking to check I was entirely happy which was a nice touch! I honestly would rebook with Vicky in a heart beat. I was made to feel at ease whilst away with regular updates and pictures. Charlie was clearly comfortable and happy whilst I was away and I couldn’t ask for more. He is a slightly more complicated boy with medicines and feeding routines, all of which was never an issue. If you are looking for a sitter for your pet I could not recommend Vicky enough. And finally….Thank you Vicky and Tom for welcoming Charlie into your home and taking such good care of him.
