This was my first time using Rover, and I found the app very user friendly when choosing a dog walker. I chose Joshua and I am do glad I did. He was reliable, made me feel completely at ease, and took plenty of photos during the walk. I was so impressed I have booked him again. A huge thanks Joshua 🤩🙏

I can't recommend Shelly enough, it was my first time leaving my rescue daxi Ellie and going on holiday so I was no nervous for me and Ellie but Shelly was great with Ellie and me and I managed to enjoy my holiday without worrying.Shelly provided details of the walk with photos each day. Ellie loved Shelly and I will definitely be using Shelly in future x

About: I absolutely love spending time with dogs and cats -they’ve always been a big part of my life. I grew up with dogs at home, and for the past 3 years I’ve been walking and sitting dogs here in London. So far, I’ve cared for 15 lovely dogs and cats, and I’m proud to say we’ve always had a great time together!

I’m experienced with all kinds of personalities — from bouncy and playful to reactive or anxious. I know that looking after pets isn’t just about loving them (though I do that a lot!) — it also takes patience, understanding, and the right approach.

I work from home Monday to Friday, which means I have a flexible schedule for walks, pee breaks, or just spending quality time with your pet. I love going for long walks and hikes, so I usually walk for 1–2 hours depending on the weather and what your dog enjoys.

When I look after pets, I always send daily updates with pictures and videos — so you can relax and enjoy your time away, knowing they’re happy and well cared for.

Looking forward to meeting you and your furry companion! I work from home from Monday-Friday. My work schedule is 9AM-5PM with 1 hour lunch break at 12:00. I’m happy to do dog-walks 2-3 times a day. I enjoy taking long walks in the park with dogs so I can guarantee enough daily exercise for your beloved pets. Weekends available too. I live with my cat and my partner in a house with a fenced garden. My cat gets along with any friendly dogs. Dogs are welcome on my sofa and all the rooms.

About: I had the pleasure of looking after my best friends dog for 6 months and really loved the companionship I had and he also really helped our whole household to get through the 2020's lockdown year. All my life, all animals have had a calming influence on me. I studied Animal Management and Welfare for 3 years. I have continued to dog walk and dog sit for friends and acquaintances from my teenage years. Looking after all animals, but dogs especially has always been a huge pleasure for me. I currently work full time but my job is very flexible and I can work my life around my job when and if I need to for anything I would prefer to look after pets at their owners houses. But if needed I have a 3 bedroom house with reasonable paved garden (no grass in garden) but have a currently young baby (2 ½ months old) in the house

About: Walks are tailored to each dog and for social dogs I form small groups of 3-4 that have a similar temperament. Some dogs love running around and chasing their friends, whilst others prefer a slow and sniffy walk - I can accommodate for all dogs needs. The dogs I walk become family to me and I treat them as if they are my own. I have a huge amount of love for dogs (and all animals) and believe this really shows in my work with them. My specialty is the working breeds and high energy dogs, such as retrievers and spaniels. I also provide a small pet service for when owners are away. I have experience in caring for cats, rabbits, Guinea pigs and hamsters; as well as animals such as tortoises, hedgehogs, snakes and bearded dragons! I work permanently as a dog walker. I am open Monday-Friday from 9am until 3pm. I am based in Stanton Cross on the Chesnut Vale development in Wellingborough. I will always adhere to instructions given and will follow your own routine to ensure continuity of care. My clients trust me with a key to their property and I take this responsibility seriously. All doors are double and triple-checked before leaving to make sure the home has been left secure for you and your pet.

Donna-Lee is very experienced with working with dogs and has an air of authority that definitely caught my husky Zelda's attention! Zelda is typically a laid back and happy girl but can pull when she's excited or fidget when waiting to cross the road. When Donna-Lee and I did our meet and greet I was given some complimentary pointers on how to better manage her as a new dog owner, which have definitely helped! I feel very comfortable leaving Zelda with her. ☺️

About: I’ve had dogs since I was 2 years old. I had a German Shepard and a golden retriever. I now have my own cocker spaniel. I absolutely adore animals especially dogs. I had my cocker spaniel trained by 12 weeks old. I’m patient and love getting out with them. I’m sympathetic and care a lot. My dog is my world so know your dogs would be loved and cared for just as much as mine is. Playing, walks or a cuddle they can have it all. I am currently in the middle of a career change so I will have plenty of time to play with your dogs, have cuddles or go for lovely walks! I have a fenced garden with locked gates. The doors are always locked for safety unless the dogs are in the garden where they will be monitored. I have one dog myself she is 3 years old and not spayed. Dogs are never left alone for longer than a hour if I have to pop to a shop and will be let out for the toilet every 2 hours unless needed earlier and will be taken for walks twice a day or three times a day. Dogs will be kept on a lead while on walks regardless of recall for their safety. If dogs are to go in a car to go to a country park for a walk with permission from owner, the dog will always have a dog seatbelt attached to a harness.

About: My name is Chi, and I’m excited to meet your furbabies! As a cat owner of two, I understand how important it is to find someone you trust. I love caring for animals and making sure they feel safe, happy, and comfortable while you’re away. I’ve been a cat sitter in Wellingborough for three years, with great feedback from pet owners. I communicate clearly and regularly, sharing updates and photos so you have peace of mind. My home visits usually last around one hour, allowing time for feeding, cleaning, play, and companionship. Your pet’s safety is always my top priority, and I carefully follow all instructions and routines. I also offer one-hour dog walks, including playtime in the park. If you need a reliable and caring sitter, I’d be happy to help! I'm currently working full time, so I'm available for pet sitting during the weekend at the moment. For weekdays, please contact me after working hours (5pm). I can walk your dogs, feed your cats, clean litter box and give them medication if needed. I can also brush your dogs or cats.

Earls Barton, NN6

About: Based in Earls Barton, job hunting after 4 months solo travelling Asia (you could always find me hanging with the dogs and cats in the hostels and cafes!). With over a decade of pet sitting experience, I am able to provide consistent care with treats, training, games, exercise - I’ll adapt to the needs of your dog to ensure they have the best care! My days are 100% flexible so I can maintain any schedule your dog is used to. I have a senior Beagle at home, he is very relaxed and friendly with other dogs - for boarding and day care he will be great company but I am also able to keep pooches in separate rooms if needed. Also have an escape-proof garden for doggies to play / snooze as desired. I’ve cared for our 15 year old Beagle for 12 years, he’s a rescue and we’ve had him since he was 2. Early on he required a lot of attention, lots of training - like many rescues we weren’t sure exactly what to expect so it took lots of patience and treats! He’s now a slightly grumpy senior dog with limited mobility, and requires more physical assistance but less training and attention during the day (he’s probably asleep). I regularly pet sit friends dogs including Bonnie (super friendly 4 year old Chihuahua mix), Peggy (enthusiastic 6 year old Springer), and Misha (lively 4 year old Pomeranian). Misha is great with people but very anti social with other dogs. Through Rover I have experience caring for senior dogs and reactive / stubborn dogs - Safe to say I have looked after some great little pals with a range of needs. I’m currently living at home, job hunting for a full time position. I like to keep my weekends free but I am free all week to pet sit and house visit on short notice. I have a fenced garden and a very chilled out senior beagle for your pet to hang out with. I live next to a track leading down to a huge green open space next to the river great for long walks.

About: Hello, my name is Luke. Thank you for your interest and wanting to find out more about me. Since I was a kid I've been brought up with pets and cared for them, e.g. ensured fresh food and water, walked them, kept their personal hygiene by brushing their hair and bathing ... - anything that the animals needs to be happy and well looked after. At the age of 16 I took my passion for animals further and started four years of animal management at College. I have gained more valuable experience with looking after all sort of animals, including dogs and making them feel comfortable around me. At the same time I started looking after my familys and friends dogs - just for a walk or for longer periods, for example holidays. Despite having my own daily schedule, the animal always gets 100% attention and all instructions by the owner are followed. I love all dog sizes and their different personalities ❤️ It is important to me to meet the dog and owner beforehand, take notes and provide regular updates. I am currently seeking a change of career into animal care and have a flexible working schedule to fit around any requirements. Pet care would also boost my fitness and mental well-being. I am sharing a two bed house with my partner. There is with a fenced garden at the rear, facing a big open field. There is plenty of space in the house for the dog to either socialise or have some quiet time.

About: With over 5 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages and personalities, I offer reliable and affectionate pet care tailored to your dog’s unique needs. I’ve raised my own Cocker Spaniel and helped care for my family’s Golden Retriever, so I’m well-versed in the joyful chaos of high-energy breeds as well as the gentler pace of older dogs. I’m not currently working elsewhere, which means I’m available full-time, including same-day bookings. Whether your dog needs a long walk, a quick toilet break, or just some comforting company, I can be there when you need me. I’m confident with lead training, basic commands, feeding routines, and administering oral medication. I also know how important it is to feel reassured while you’re away, so I’m happy to send regular updates, photos, and messages to keep you in the loop. Your dog’s safety, happiness, and routine matter to me – I’ll treat them like my own! Pet care is my main focus right now, so I plan my days around it. I’m available full-time during the week and on weekends, with flexible hours to suit your needs. Whether it’s regular walks, drop-ins, or last-minute bookings, I’m happy to accommodate. Animals bring me joy and purpose, and I genuinely love spending my time caring for them. When caring for pets in their home, I respect the space and follow any instructions carefully—from feeding and walk routines to playtime and bedtime habits. I always make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and at ease while you’re away. If I’m walking your dog, I choose safe, dog-friendly routes and avoid off-lead time unless agreed beforehand. I keep a close eye on body language and behavior, always putting your pet’s safety and comfort first.
