“Thank you Lina, complete professionalism shown from initial communication and throughout her visits, well logged information and photographs. She evidently made friends with Quinn, and Willow (our cat6 who she wasn’t even visiting and I didn’t expect her to see! I will definitely be using Lina’s services in the future and highly recommend.”

“Ella looked after my cat so well that Minnie was as comfortable as when I left her.I would like to thank Ella for the help and time she put into looking after Minnie for me whilst I was away.. Thankyou.”

“Donna has been looking after my cat for a week, Willow who has been rescued and overly timid. Donna was able to engage her and see to her needs regardless of Willow being timid and shy. She’s kept her safe and sound, Willow, when we got back was calm and content, which was obvious evidence of Donna’s excellent care. Besides she’s kept the house safe and secure, clean and lovely tidy, watered my plants. I’ve received regular updates and pictures of Willow during my holiday which was 100% reassurance that my little cat is safe and sound, I will definitely ask her to look after my Willow in future. Thank you Donna for all you have done for us :)”

“Tracey was excellent with communication and I loved receiving pictures and updates. A lovely, friendly, trustworthy sitter who I would not hesitate to recommend to others. Pepper was happy when I got home but had clearly been looked after.”

“Ayanna has been walking our Border Collie, Zeke, every Thursday and she has been great! Zeke is always very happy to see her and really enjoys their 1-hour walks together. He’ll usually sleep throughout the afternoon when he gets home. Ayanna has always been very responsive and takes lots of pictures and videos. I can highly recommend Ayanna!”

About: I have a genuine passion for animals and plenty of hands-on experience caring for pets. I have my own pets, including dogs and cats, which has given me a great understanding of their different personalities, needs, and behaviours. I hold a Level 3 diploma in Animal management with Distinction* grades, as well as qualifications in pet sitting, dog walking and dog grooming. I have also worked in both a cattery and kennels, giving me valuable experience caring for a variety of cats and dogs and understanding their individual routines and requirements. I already work with pets and regularly gain practical experience, while continuing to develop my dog grooming skills. I am caring, reliable, patient, and dedicated to making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while in my care I currently work part-time at Pets at home, although i often work more than my contracted hours depending on the needs of my work place. Because of this, i will fit pet sitting, dog walking and drop in visits around my work schedule and my days off. I always want to make sure i can give every pet the time, attention, and care they deserve, so i will be honest and upfront about my availability before accepting a booking. If you are looking for someone who can be with your pet 24/7, I may not always be the right person, depending on my working days and hours. However, I will always do my best to work with you and create a schedule that suits both you and your pet. When caring for pets in their home, I always aim to keep their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I take time to understand their usual feeding, walking, toileting, medication, playtime, and bedtime routines, and make sure these are followed as closely as possible. I provide plenty of attention, affection, and reassurance while respecting each pet’s individual personality and boundaries. I also make sure their home is left clean and secure, and I’m happy to provide regular updates and photos so owners can have peace of mind knowing their pets are safe, happy, and well cared for.
About: Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to check in with, feed, and play with their pets for over a decade. I currently do not own any pets of my own, which means your dog will receive my absolute undivided attention, full care, and 100% of my focus without the stress of competing with other animals. At 22, I provide a safe, active, and loving environment where your furry family member truly comes first. I work 4 on 4 off schedule so i can’t be available every day, but on my days off i have nothing else than taking care of your pet. I provide a completely safe, secure, and stress-free environment for your pets. I have a fully fenced garden where they can run around safely, and because I do not have any pets of my own, my attention is 100% focused on your pet's needs, comfort, and happiness at all times.
About: I’m Hollie, a qualified Level 3 dog groomer with 4 years of hands-on experience caring for and working with dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages and personalities. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and I’m passionate about making sure every dog in my care feels safe, comfortable, loved and settled. I’m confident with everything from walks and playtime to feeding routines, administering basic care and giving dogs plenty of attention and companionship. I understand that every dog is different, so I’m happy to follow your usual routine and take the time to get to know what makes your dog happy and comfortable. Your dog’s wellbeing is my priority, and I’ll treat them as I would my own — with plenty of love, patience, exercise, cuddles and attention. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages while you’re away, so you can have peace of mind knowing they’re happy and being well cared for. Whether your dog needs an energetic walking buddy, some company while you’re out, or a little extra care and attention, I’d love to help! 🐶❤️ Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine. I’m an active person and enjoy spending plenty of time outdoors, so walks, playtime and keeping dogs entertained are something I genuinely enjoy. As a qualified dog groomer, I already spend a lot of my time around dogs and am very comfortable caring for dogs with different personalities, energy levels and needs. I understand the importance of keeping to their usual feeding, walking and sleeping routines and making sure they receive plenty of attention and companionship. I’m able to build pet care around my schedule and can offer flexible availability depending on the type of care your dog needs. When your dog is with me, they’ll have plenty of love, attention, exercise and cuddles — and I’ll keep you updated so you know they’re having a lovely time! 🐾❤️ I always make sure pets are cared for according to their individual needs and their usual routine. Before looking after a pet, I’ll take the time to understand their feeding schedule, exercise requirements, personality, likes and dislikes, and any important care instructions. In a client’s home, I’ll keep their routine as normal as possible, making sure they have plenty of attention, exercise, playtime and companionship. About: I’ve always loved being around animals and caring for pets has been a big part of my life for many years. Over the past few years, I’ve gained hands on experience pet sitting for families while they travel, including longer stays where I’m fully responsible for daily routines, feeding, walks, playtime and general wellbeing. I’ve looked after a variety of pets with different personalities and needs — from confident, energetic animals to more nervous or independent ones. I’m patient, calm and attentive, and I always take the time to understand each pet’s routine so they feel safe and settled in my care. I treat every pet as if they were my own and make sure owners feel completely at ease while they’re away, with regular updates and photos if requested. At the moment, I have a very flexible schedule, which means I’m able to dedicate plenty of time and attention to pet care. While I’m currently looking for a more permanent role in animal care, pet sitting fits perfectly into my daily routine and allows me to focus fully on looking after pets. I’m available throughout the day for feeding, walks, playtime, companionship and check ins, and I can easily adapt my schedule to suit each pet’s needs and routine. I always aim to provide a calm, safe and loving environment where pets feel comfortable and well cared for. Whether I’m caring for pets in my own home or in an owner’s home, I make sure routines are followed closely and that each pet’s individual needs and boundaries are respected. In my home, pets have a secure, relaxed space with access to a large garden for fresh air and play (always supervised and in line with owner instructions). I also live very close to a variety of walking routes, which means I can tailor walks to suit different energy levels - from short, gentle strolls to longer, more active walks. I have a friendly cat at home who spends much of their time outdoors or visiting a neighbour, so I’m mindful of introductions and always prioritise safety and comfort. I would only care for pets in my home if they are happy around cats and if owners are fully comfortable with the setup. When caring for pets in an owner’s home, I treat the space with complete respect and make sure pets feel secure in their familiar environment. I keep owners updated with regular messages and photos for peace of mind.

About: I have always had responsibilities to look after animals (cats and dogs) from a very young age. My family members have always had dogs and cats and they would regularly ask me to look after them while they were away when I was a teenager going into adulthood. I have always been around animals, including having dogs and cats myself as an adult with my husband and daughter. We have a black labrador called Frank and a tortoise shell cat called Peggy! I think of myself as great with animals especially dogs and I always have a great relationship with every dog I come across! I also used to have a cleaning job which involved letting clients dogs out, feeding them and giving them lots of fuss if they weren’t there, which I always really enjoyed! I am currently working part time at a local school so I have the mornings to drop into your animals! Also saturday and sunday mornings I have availability for this as well. If i was to have your dogs in my house, it’s handy to know my garden is completely fenced off and totally safe and my black lab Frank is extremely friendly so they’d have another furry friend to play with! I have a crate which could be used if needed and plenty of space for your animal to roam around inside my house!

About: I love all doggies! My Dog was a rescue who was very nervous around other humans and doggies, I took extra care with him re introducing him to new environments - now he is the most loving and playful dog! Have also taken many neighbours dogs for walkies for many years! I work part time as a snowboard instructor, so I have plenty of time to look after my fur baby! He has penny of walks and a doggy paddle pool for this mega heat! It’s all love around here! We have a big garden with lots of shade and a pool if they love water! We give lots of duffle and treats :)
About: I’ve always had a huge love for animals and have plenty of hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats. I spent six months volunteering at a dog rescue centre in Barbados, where I helped care for rescue dogs of different ages, sizes and backgrounds. My responsibilities included feeding, walking, general care and, of course, giving them plenty of love and attention. At home, my mum and I have two dogs of our own, including a rescue dog we brought home from Barbados, so caring for dogs is a big part of my everyday life. I’ve also regularly dog sat for friends and family, as well as caring for cats while family members have been away. I understand how important it is to know your pet is with someone you can trust, and I’ll always treat every animal in my care with the same love and attention I give my own. 🐾 I work a mixture of locally and from home, so my routine varies depending on the day. On my local working days, pets will be cared for in the morning before I leave, including feeding, toilet breaks and a walk where needed. As I work locally, I’m able to come home during the day, so dogs would need to be comfortable being left for up to around 4 hours at a time. I’m then home from around 5:30pm for the evening, with plenty of time for walks, playtime, cuddles and attention. On my work-from-home days, I’ll be home all day with the pets, so they’ll have plenty of company and attention throughout the day, as well as their usual walks, feeding and toilet breaks. At weekends, I’m fully available to spend my time with the animals in my care and will always do my best to keep to their normal routine. 🐾 I’ll always look after your pets in their own home, where they’re most comfortable and can stick to the routine they’re used to. I’m happy to follow whatever routine you normally have, whether that’s feeding times, walks, playtime, toilet breaks or just lots of cuddles and attention! I know every pet is different, so I’ll always take the time to get to know them and what they like. I’m also more than happy to send photos and little updates while you’re away, so you know they’re happy, settled and being well looked after.

Pet owners share their Rover experiences - Kettering
From the first visit when we met Millie, we were put at ease by her kindness and confidence with our playful puppy. It was clear that she knew what she was doing and he had a wonderful time with her on her visits. We appreciate the thorough updates and will definitely book again!

An absolutely fantastic service provided by Lina!, we had a meet and greet prior which Lina asked all the necessary questions about my little Mabel! Lina was flexible with my times and was able to add extras to what I additionally had asked for. Mabel was well and truly looked after and I felt at complete ease with Lina going in to look after her. The updates every visit, and multiple photos were amazing as they showed just how much Lina cared about Mabel and how much Mabel absolutely lapped up and enjoyed the company, plus how settled she was! I have come back to one very happy cat. Also saved the stress which is involved with catterys with the car trips! I’m so so glad I stumbled across this app and then in turn Lina

Thank you so much for caring for our two, Sue. From booking, to key collecting, and your visits were all fantastic. You make it so easy to feel at ease, and we know the cats are in amazing hands when you are popping in. Thank you for the lovely bottle of fizz to congratulate us on our wedding, a kind and thoughtful touch.

Tracey has been looking after Willow ever so nicely, she has sent pictures at every single visit showing how my cat was and how she’s been engaging with her, which was great to see also comforting while we were away. Thank you Tracey, again for caring for my Willow :)

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Kettering choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm.
