About: I have always had responsibilities to look after animals (cats and dogs) from a very young age. My family members have always had dogs and cats and they would regularly ask me to look after them while they were away when I was a teenager going into adulthood. I have always been around animals, including having dogs and cats myself as an adult with my husband and daughter. We have a black labrador called Frank and a tortoise shell cat called Peggy! I think of myself as great with animals especially dogs and I always have a great relationship with every dog I come across! I also used to have a cleaning job which involved letting clients dogs out, feeding them and giving them lots of fuss if they weren’t there, which I always really enjoyed! I am currently working part time at a local school so I have the mornings to drop into your animals! Also saturday and sunday mornings I have availability for this as well. If i was to have your dogs in my house, it’s handy to know my garden is completely fenced off and totally safe and my black lab Frank is extremely friendly so they’d have another furry friend to play with! I have a crate which could be used if needed and plenty of space for your animal to roam around inside my house!

About: I have a genuine passion for animals and plenty of hands-on experience caring for pets. I have my own pets, including dogs and cats, which has given me a great understanding of their different personalities, needs, and behaviours. I hold a Level 3 diploma in Animal management with Distinction* grades, as well as qualifications in pet sitting, dog walking and dog grooming. I have also worked in both a cattery and kennels, giving me valuable experience caring for a variety of cats and dogs and understanding their individual routines and requirements. I already work with pets and regularly gain practical experience, while continuing to develop my dog grooming skills. I am caring, reliable, patient, and dedicated to making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while in my care I currently work part-time at Pets at home, although i often work more than my contracted hours depending on the needs of my work place. Because of this, i will fit pet sitting, dog walking and drop in visits around my work schedule and my days off. I always want to make sure i can give every pet the time, attention, and care they deserve, so i will be honest and upfront about my availability before accepting a booking. If you are looking for someone who can be with your pet 24/7, I may not always be the right person, depending on my working days and hours. However, I will always do my best to work with you and create a schedule that suits both you and your pet. When caring for pets in their home, I always aim to keep their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I take time to understand their usual feeding, walking, toileting, medication, playtime, and bedtime routines, and make sure these are followed as closely as possible. I provide plenty of attention, affection, and reassurance while respecting each pet’s individual personality and boundaries. I also make sure their home is left clean and secure, and I’m happy to provide regular updates and photos so owners can have peace of mind knowing their pets are safe, happy, and well cared for.

About: I love all doggies! My Dog was a rescue who was very nervous around other humans and doggies, I took extra care with him re introducing him to new environments - now he is the most loving and playful dog! Have also taken many neighbours dogs for walkies for many years! I work part time as a snowboard instructor, so I have plenty of time to look after my fur baby! He has penny of walks and a doggy paddle pool for this mega heat! It’s all love around here! We have a big garden with lots of shade and a pool if they love water! We give lots of duffle and treats :)

About: I’ve always had a huge love for animals and have plenty of hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats. I spent six months volunteering at a dog rescue centre in Barbados, where I helped care for rescue dogs of different ages, sizes and backgrounds. My responsibilities included feeding, walking, general care and, of course, giving them plenty of love and attention. At home, my mum and I have two dogs of our own, including a rescue dog we brought home from Barbados, so caring for dogs is a big part of my everyday life. I’ve also regularly dog sat for friends and family, as well as caring for cats while family members have been away. I understand how important it is to know your pet is with someone you can trust, and I’ll always treat every animal in my care with the same love and attention I give my own. 🐾 I work a mixture of locally and from home, so my routine varies depending on the day. On my local working days, pets will be cared for in the morning before I leave, including feeding, toilet breaks and a walk where needed. As I work locally, I’m able to come home during the day, so dogs would need to be comfortable being left for up to around 4 hours at a time. I’m then home from around 5:30pm for the evening, with plenty of time for walks, playtime, cuddles and attention. On my work-from-home days, I’ll be home all day with the pets, so they’ll have plenty of company and attention throughout the day, as well as their usual walks, feeding and toilet breaks. At weekends, I’m fully available to spend my time with the animals in my care and will always do my best to keep to their normal routine. 🐾 I’ll always look after your pets in their own home, where they’re most comfortable and can stick to the routine they’re used to. I’m happy to follow whatever routine you normally have, whether that’s feeding times, walks, playtime, toilet breaks or just lots of cuddles and attention! I know every pet is different, so I’ll always take the time to get to know them and what they like. I’m also more than happy to send photos and little updates while you’re away, so you know they’re happy, settled and being well looked after.

About: I have been involved in caring for dogs for over 35 yrs as a qualified veterinary nurse, manager of a boarding breeding and rehousing kennels and currently as a dog trainer and with my own dogs. I am confident to support with medication, look after nervous, anxious and even aggressive dogs. I am passionate about puppy foundations and safe exposure to a wide variety of experiences to ensure the best start equipping your dog to have confidence and life skills. Your requirements can be discussed if you do have a young dog or even a dog needing to gain some confidence eg a rehome. I can provide a safe, warm home environment for elderly dogs and can offer them time and my experience to ensure they settle in my home. Your pet can socialise with my dogs if this is beneficial but can also be kept separately if required. I have experience working with guide dogs and assistance dogs. My own dogs have been registered Pets As Therapy dogs and used to help individuals conquer dog phobias. Please get in touch to discuss how I might be able to help. 1:1 training opportunities also available by request. I work part time and can devote part and full days to looking after your pet. Pets can be walked once or twice a day with regular toilet breaks. I have a fully secure garden with direct access to local fields and footpaths for county walks. Dogs can be with my own dogs or kept separately if required. Whichever is more beneficial for your pet. I am happy to use crates but this is not a necessity. Dogs can sleep upstairs if required and are welcome on the sofa.

“Carla was a wonderful and caring sitter for our two kitties while we were away on holiday. Both of our cats seemed to absolutely adore her--and you know how picky cats can be about people! I personally loved her for her meticulousness in learning about our cats and commitment to caring for them precisely as requested. She was also very responsive to all of my messages. One of our cats is quite finicky about her litter and is prone to accidents if everything isn't exactly to her liking. This same cat also developed some tummy trouble that required adjustments to her diet, keeping a close eye on her behaviour after meals, and checking the house at every visit for signs that she'd been ill. Carla sent us daily updates on this cat's health in addition to her regular updates via Rover Cards, which really helped to put our minds at ease while we were away. We highly recommend Carla and will absolutely be looking forward to having her care for our pets again in the future.”

I've grown up around them my whole life, so caring for them has always come naturally to me. I currently have two gorgeous dogs of my own—Yorkshire Terrier ( Maja) and a Cockapoo puppy ( Mimi) —who are a huge part of my life. They keep me on my toes with lots of adventures, cuddles, and playtime! I live in a spacious three-bedroom house with a fully secure, fenced garden where dogs can safely play, explore, or simply relax in the sunshine. Inside, they'll have plenty of cosy places to curl up, lots of love and attention, and as many cuddles as they'll allow! For dog walking, I’m happy to offer both solo walks and walks with my own two dogs joining us. If you would like your dog to have a one-to-one walk with me, that is absolutely fine. Alternatively, if you’re happy for your dog to have some friendly company, my two girls would love to come along and enjoy the adventure too! Just let me know what you’d prefer when booking, and I’ll make sure your dog has a fun, safe, and enjoyable walk that suits your wishes. For dog boarding and stays in my home, my two girls will naturally be part of the family environment, so I kindly ask that any dogs staying with me are friendly, comfortable, and happy around other dogs. I’ll always make introductions carefully and make sure every dog feels settled, safe, and welcomed as part of the family. 🐾
