I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs of many breeds and personalities — Schnauzers, Cocker Spaniels, Shih Tzus, Boxers, Lhasa Apsos, Weimaraners, and more — as well as cats. About: I am a compassionate, reliable, and experienced animal care professional with over 8 years of experience working as a Veterinary Nurse, alongside my current role as an Ambulance Clinician. Caring for others has always been at the heart of what I do, and animals have been a lifelong passion of mine. My veterinary background has given me extensive experience caring for animals of all breeds, ages, and temperaments, including those with medical needs, anxiety, or additional care requirements. I am confident administering medication, recognising signs of illness, and ensuring pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. Working as an Ambulance Clinician has strengthened my calm, responsible, and trustworthy nature, especially in high-pressure situations. I understand how important it is for owners to know their pets are in safe hands, and I treat every animal with the same care and affection I would give my own. My days when I am providing pet care will revolve around the animals normal routine or as close as I can. I provide a safe, clean, and calm environment for every pet in my care. I follow each pet's normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, exercise, medication (if required), and any special care instructions. I make sure pets always have access to fresh water, a secure space to rest, and plenty of attention, enrichment, and supervision. I have a fenced garden and have access to open fields with wooden fencing. When caring for pets in an owner's home, I respect the home and maintain the pet's usual routine to help them feel comfortable and reduce stress. I keep owners updated with regular messages, photos, and reports. About: I love all doggies! My Dog was a rescue who was very nervous around other humans and doggies, I took extra care with him re introducing him to new environments - now he is the most loving and playful dog! Have also taken many neighbours dogs for walkies for many years! I work part time as a snowboard instructor, so I have plenty of time to look after my fur baby! He has penny of walks and a doggy paddle pool for this mega heat! It’s all love around here! We have a big garden with lots of shade and a pool if they love water! We give lots of duffle and treats :)

About: I have always had responsibilities to look after animals (cats and dogs) from a very young age. My family members have always had dogs and cats and they would regularly ask me to look after them while they were away when I was a teenager going into adulthood. I have always been around animals, including having dogs and cats myself as an adult with my husband and daughter. We have a black labrador called Frank and a tortoise shell cat called Peggy! I think of myself as great with animals especially dogs and I always have a great relationship with every dog I come across! I also used to have a cleaning job which involved letting clients dogs out, feeding them and giving them lots of fuss if they weren’t there, which I always really enjoyed! I am currently working part time at a local school so I have the mornings to drop into your animals! Also saturday and sunday mornings I have availability for this as well. If i was to have your dogs in my house, it’s handy to know my garden is completely fenced off and totally safe and my black lab Frank is extremely friendly so they’d have another furry friend to play with! I have a crate which could be used if needed and plenty of space for your animal to roam around inside my house!

“Ayanna was absolutely amazing! We had booked her in to do two 1hr visits on our energetic 1.5 yr old Labrador Stella and she couldn’t have been better. She was on time, sent plenty of photos and communication before, during and after was great. Stella was nervous at first so Ayanna even bought along her dog, River, for the second visit and it worked a treat! They went on a great walk and played together. About: I have been involved in caring for dogs for over 35 yrs as a qualified veterinary nurse, manager of a boarding breeding and rehousing kennels and currently as a dog trainer and with my own dogs. I am confident to support with medication, look after nervous, anxious and even aggressive dogs. I am passionate about puppy foundations and safe exposure to a wide variety of experiences to ensure the best start equipping your dog to have confidence and life skills. Your requirements can be discussed if you do have a young dog or even a dog needing to gain some confidence eg a rehome. I can provide a safe, warm home environment for elderly dogs and can offer them time and my experience to ensure they settle in my home. Your pet can socialise with my dogs if this is beneficial but can also be kept separately if required. I have experience working with guide dogs and assistance dogs. My own dogs have been registered Pets As Therapy dogs and used to help individuals conquer dog phobias. Please get in touch to discuss how I might be able to help. 1:1 training opportunities also available by request. I work part time and can devote part and full days to looking after your pet. Pets can be walked once or twice a day with regular toilet breaks. I have a fully secure garden with direct access to local fields and footpaths for county walks. Dogs can be with my own dogs or kept separately if required. Whichever is more beneficial for your pet. I am happy to use crates but this is not a necessity. Dogs can sleep upstairs if required and are welcome on the sofa.

About: I’ve always been a pet lover, saving up to buy a dog with my own money at 16. I am able to walk, feed and flee/ worm cats and dogs. I’ve also dealt with a variety of different animals. I’m currently a psychology with cognitive neuroscience student at university of Essex looking to care for some fur babies when I’m home for holidays/ breaks. About: I’ve been involved with animals ever since I can remember! From owning 3 horses and 2 beloved rescue dogs! I know how to adapt and change to each animal understanding not all of them are the same. I am also a qualified nurse so from my animal experience and nursing experience I’ve learnt how to communicate with both owner and animal. I work as an nurse as hoc and have enjoyed taking a break from the hospital!! And I have a wide range of availability and will most likely be free! I can communicate effectively with you the owner to understand where your pet is allowed. From owning two rescue dogs I’m also aware of certain dogs being afraid or aggressive to other dogs so I would walk on other side of the path to keep dogs away. I have had a huge experience around poorly pets- My current rescue has to have regular medication including injections and eye drops, I have also had experience with strokes amongst dogs and post operative care. My being a vet has enabled me to pick up critical information for dealing with emergency’s and the general health and well being of animals. I am also aware that dogs love company and like other dogs so I’m suited to all pet needs. I also give great cuddles and I seem to have a good track record with pets and they seem to always want more! I have plenty of time to play with your pups or cats due to being a newly graduate from university. I am available weekdays, weekends and all times of the day. I will ensure your dog remains in eye contact to make sure there’s no escapes. My sister is a qualified vet and my experience and knowledge of emergency care has grown from her. I will have your vets contact number in my phone before any visit/sitting.
