Wilf is a friendly but shy dog. Luna did an excellent job being patient and understanding with him. She made a real effort to encourage him to eat, drink, play, and go outside to toilet. Lovely to see the photo and video updates of him so we were reassured he was happy without us. Delighted with the care she provided. Wilf was in good hands.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and have many years of hands-on experience caring for a variety of breeds. I currently have my own working cocker spaniel, Winnie, and have previously cared for both a Labrador and another cocker spaniel from puppyhood through to their senior years. I understand the importance of routine, exercise, enrichment and calm, attentive care tailored to each dog’s individual needs. Working from home allows me to offer flexible availability, plenty of companionship, and consistent, reliable care throughout the day. I understand how important it is to leave your dog with someone you trust. For extra peace of mind, I am fully DBS checked and will always treat your dog as if they were my own. I provide regular photo and video updates so you can relax knowing your pet is happy, safe and well cared for 🥰🐾 I work from home and structure my week around my own dog’s routine, so incorporating additional walks and visits fits easily into my day. I’m used to planning regular exercise, enrichment and downtime, and living near parks and countryside means walks are always a highlight of the day and something I genuinely enjoy. I treat every dog as if they were my own, prioritising safety, routine and calm handling at all times. I follow owners’ instructions carefully and ensure walks are carried out safely using appropriate equipment. I provide attentive supervision and clear communication throughout each booking

About: I have 20 years experience with family dogs in the past, looking after them, taking for walks, etc. I love dogs more than people, I love having cuddles with them. I'm ok with bathing, cleaning up and walking them on the lead. Playtime if they enjoy it, if not, snuggles it is. I'm not able to work, so I'm free most of the time, I'm very flexible, just message me to discuss anything. Any holidays or times/days I'm not available will be updated on my calendar. I'll make sure to keep an eye on them and check on them every 30mins or less if they like company. Either let them out in the garden for the toilet as and when needed, or if the garden is unavailable for whatever reason, I'll take them on the lead for a short walk instead. If they have an accident inside I'll be sure to clean it up ASAP and let the owner know, accidents happen. I'll feed them if needed and if they get dirty on walks I can bath them.

Gemma was amazing looking after Duke whilst we were away. There was updates on every visit, including photos which were great to see and it really puts your mind at rest whilst away. She was really friendly, and was happy to close curtains for us each day too which was really useful. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing a cat sitter.

Ok so we have tried this for the 1st tine so we can have a weekend away. I was so apprehensive and concerned as Dave is a very boisterous boy but Wow ? Dave never relaxes around people but with Stef he was so different. He took to Steph straight away which in itself is rare and he was playing with her and generally being the happy dog he is. ? it has been amazing to watch and now I have no concerns with Steph staying overnight with Dave when we go away ??

Rebecca has been an excellent sitter. Instantly bonded with both cats, so I could see how well she would treat them. Asked all the right questions for care info before I had to say anything. Punctual, and sent good pics and videos of the cats at play or posing. Will gladly ask her to sit again. Recommended.

About: I am a professional dog walker based in North Leamington. I provide care, comfort and exercise while you’re away from your furry friend. From personal experience I know how important your four legged friend is, and I want to make your life as easy as possible so that you don’t have to worry about them while you’re away. I have had years of experience being around dogs, walking and looking after them! They are part of my daily life and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I have experience walking older rescue dogs to energetic German shepherd’s and everything in between, so no dog is too big or too small! I am self employed so I can be flexible with times and what suits you and your doggo. I also drive so distance isn’t an issue. I will always leave your dog how I find them, whether this is in a crate, behind a shut gate or in a specific room in the house. I’ll always check water bowls and am more than happy to feed them if necessary.

Eleanor has recently provided a drop in service to feed and check in on Vinnie, our anxious little tabby cat. He was perfectly as ease with her from the first time they met and loved having treats and fusses. Eleanor went on to provide a very professional service for the week that we were away, she was very prompt and conscientious, dropping in twice a day to feed, fuss and play with Vinnie. She provided lots of updates and photos from every visits which was very reassuring and put our minds at rest. The weather was quite hot at the time so Eleanor kept the house well ventilated and made sure Vinnie didn't get too hot. We would have no hesitation in asking Eleanor to do the same again in the future nor have any hesitation in recommend her to anyone else.

About: I have been a pet caregiver for 20 years, caring for my own pets, as well as those of my neighbours and friends, providing primary care for a wide range of breeds and temperaments. My experience spans two decades of maintaining strict feeding schedules, managing complex health needs, and ensuring every pet feels safe and loved while their owners are away. Whether it’s high-energy outdoor play or calm indoor companionship, I adapt my approach to suit each pet's unique personality and routine. What truly sets me apart is the depth of intuition I’ve gained over 20 years of hands-on care. Pet care is my primary focus. Because I am dedicated to sitting full-time, your pet will receive constant companionship and a highly consistent routine. My 20 years of experience have taught me that pets thrive on predictability, so I structure my day around their existing home schedules, starting with early morning walks and then breakfast, followed by midday enrichment and multiple potty breaks every 2–4 hours. I am available for both weekday routines and weekend bookings, and I update my Rover calendar daily to ensure my availability is always accurate for you. I treat your home with the same respect and vigilance as my own. I follow a strict protocol for securing all doors and windows after every visit. I keep your keys on my person at all times to prevent accidental lockouts. Before leaving, I conduct a final walkthrough to ensure trash lids are locked and no dangerous items are within your pet's reach. On walks, I cross the street to avoid unknown dogs and always use a secure harness for safety. I provide detailed check-in reports and plenty of photos after every visit, ensuring you stay connected to your pet's well-being while you're away.

About: I grew up around cats and dogs and loved spending time with animals. I would regularly take my own dog on long walks and spent long hours playing with my cat and her many litters of kittens. After a few years not-so-patiently waiting for the right time, my partner and I have recently got a dog of our own, our lovely puppy Goji, who has brought a lot of joy to us since moving in with us. We have gained a lot of hands-on experience caring for and training him which has made us both a lot more confident looking after other people’s dogs. I love going on dog walks, especially long walks in the countryside, so your dog would have no shortage of exercise with me! My partner and I have recently relocated to Bath and have bought a house here. We both work from home five days a week so can take your dog for a walk during lunch. Since we have a garden I can also let your dog out during the day. I can easily crate your dog if needed, take it for walks and give it its food at meal times. I’d love to make your dog/cat feel at home with me!

I would recommend her whole-heartedly.

I was delighted to have Rebecca booked for a first pet visit. Unfortunately, Larry's first time at home in the dark was difficult for him. Excuse the early feedback but it seems Rover have misunderstood the reason for previous cancellation which avoids me being double booked and therefore being double charged. Anna has confirmed that she will visit next Tuesday Nov4th for the usual hour visit at 1pm so I assume she will be paid the usual £21 charge as previously agreed. And I will be charged the same plus your fee.

Yes, absolutely! Many sitters on Rover are experienced in caring for multiple pets simultaneously, whether you have a pack of dogs, a clowder of cats, or a mix of both.

Look for sitters who highlight multi-pet expertise or check for verified reviews from other Warwick pet parents with similar pet households.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Warwick choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
