I have been a dog walker for the past 5 years, here on rover and through word of mouth. I grew up with lots of pets including dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, sheep (the lot- I lived on a farm!) I’ve walked and looked after various different breeds and am experienced with small, medium and large strong dogs too, and can cater to whatever needs necessary. I have a dog of my own called Koda. He is good with all dogs but can be wary of non - neutered male dogs unfortunately. If you are interested in boarding at mine then we’d introduce the dogs beforehand to ensure they get on as the safety of the dogs is the priority. My house has a fenced garden and I live just next to a park which is ideal for dog walks. I am a big all round lover of animals and would love to help take care of your pet :)

Excuse the early feedback but it seems Rover have misunderstood the reason for previous cancellation which avoids me being double booked and therefore being double charged. Anna has confirmed that she will visit next Tuesday Nov4th for the usual hour visit at 1pm so I assume she will be paid the usual £21 charge as previously agreed. And I will be charged the same plus your fee.
Early days but the first sit and walk visit went very well and I hope Anna will be available every Tuesday allowing some flexibility re time of visit during that day. Anna is obviously an experienced dog handler and showed a real interest in looking after my dog Rusty which gives me confidence in my hoped for arrangement.
Anna is great, she walks my boy every morning alongside her dog Koda. She is able to handle my high energy retriever and I appreciate that she is comfortable enough to let him off lead, which he loves. He is always waiting by the window and is very excited to see her. She's reliable and trustworthy and I'm happy that she continues to be able to walk my sweet boy.

Schedule
I work from home every day so I am able to look after pets during the day in the week too which adds a lot of flexibility. I’m quite active so go on daily walks anyway with my dog and I love going on longer walks/hikes at the weekend, so I’d be more than happy for to include your pup if they’re sociable with mine if not can walk them alone :)

I have a closed back garden so your dog could roam freely with no issues. I also have a tiny small gated front garden so there would be no risk of your dog running out to the road when someone opens the front door. My downstairs area is tiles or wood so much easier and less worry about a dirty pup :)
Pets
A typical day
I generally try to walk a dog a few times a day (morning, lunch and evening) these would be in a local park. Or I can adapt and do one long walk instead. I would try and take a ball or play fetch with a stick over the park or if could do this in my enclosed back garden. I work downstairs so I would be able to pay attention to the dog all day and mentally stimulate them too :)

- Please let me know how sociable your dog is and their recall. I of course would only ever let your dog off its lead with your permission and if I had looked after it multiple times. I walk dogs often in Moseley park where it is quiet so if your dog can’t be let off and is a bit reactive with others then this would still be ideal
