“Kelly is SO caring and really made sure all of Zoe's needs were met! She brought toys for Zoe's playful side and followed up when Zoe was being a food snob. Kelly also.made sure she was safe when Zoe got carried away with fusses. Kelly is amazing.”

“Daisy was totally reliable and excellent with communication. She took time to meet with Simba prior to the booked drop in visit, and kept in touch both prior to, and during the visit. We will definitely be happy to book Simba in with Daisy again.”

“Fantastic cat sitting drop in service. Claire came to meet us a couple of weeks before we went away and got to know the cat and the house. When she was coming round she stayed longer than she had to and played with the cat, opened the curtains and generally looked after the house as well. 100% recommend and will be using again next time we go away.”

“It’s been the first time using megan and she’s amazing , went above and beyond and couldn’t of been more helpful when helping with our cat , would highly recommend👌 We will definitely be rebooking for Megan’s services 😊”

About: I love animals, dogs, cats, you name it! I am used to a challenge so medications should be no problem. I have administered these in tablet form before and I am willing to adapt to special needs/requirements of all pets. I have experience with senior and young pets. I also have infomation on cats on the cats section. Dogs- I personally have a mixed breed dog who is syberian husky cross collie, so I am no stranger to maulting, long walks, brushing and lots of energy. I have also worked with senior dogs who are more relaxed and require shorter walks. I am willing to adapt to any pets personal requirements and work around their schedule. I currently attend college Monday to Friday however throughout times school is closed, I am available; this includes holidays. I would prefer if the pet is able to be left for a couple of hours if it is during the school term due to this. I will only offer pet sitting at the pets home due to not wanting to stress them out and not having the facilities to properly care for your pet in my own home if they dont get along with my dog.

About: As a teenager I had a Labrador from birth which cemented my love of dogs. Due to work it was impossible for me to have another dog for some time but I always knew it was only a matter of time. 18 years ago I had a Sottish terrier from birth, Molly lived with us for 14 years. She was a typical Scottie, stubborn, inquisitive, loved to help me dig the garden and take up all the space on the sofa. After we lost Molly we did not want to rush into having another. However we became aware of an abandoned Staffie at the RSPCA. She was 17 years old named Lucy and had been returned to the kennels on 2 occasions due medical and socialising issues. We were told she is wary of other dogs, is not very friendly with humans, does not like walking and is incontinent. So obviously we adopted her. She turned out to be amazing. All she needed was love and attention and all the above issues disappeared. We were told she would be with us for 6 months to a year, it was 4 years before she passed. Since we lost Lucy work has become more demanding and we are not able to devote as much time as we would want to looking after dogs. So we have borrowed my sisters Labrador, my cousins Labrador, a friends collie cross and the neighbours Alsation as often as we can. As this fits in with our workilfe and gives us quality time with dogs, we think Rover is an ideal solution for us. We live in a village with many walks, surrounded by fields but we are also happy to go further afield. We have a local park a few minutes walk away where there are always other dogs to socialise with or if needed plenty of walks where you rarely see anyone Free at weekends and evenings/over night and Mondays. Not currently available during day time Tues to Fri This may change as we are exploring other work opportunities Very sucure garden, surrounded by 6ft fence. Full sun but plenty of shade, all dogs are allowed on the garden furniture. Enough space to have a play.

About: I have always loved dogs! Within my family we have always had dogs, to which I was and am so grateful for. I love taking care of dogs, seeing them smile by the simplest things like a long walk, brushes, kisses, food, etc! I am currently a second year student at Nottingham Trent Univeristy, studying English and History. I am home for the Summer so here to make sure all dogs have a lovely Summer too! We have a good space inside and outside of the house for animals to run around and be safe due to the secured and closed off fences surrounding.

“Beth is by far the best person we've had on Rover from Portsmouth.”

About: I bring a wide range of experience caring for many different types of animals including dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, fish, and small mammals. I’m confident handling pets with all kinds of needs, from playful puppies and curious kittens to gentle, senior dogs who may require extra patience and care. What sets me apart is my ability to adapt to each animal’s unique personality and routine. I’m patient, reliable, and always attentive to their wellbeing, whether that means sticking closely to feeding schedules, administering medication, or providing plenty of playtime and affection. I treat every pet as if they were my own, and I’m committed to giving them a safe, happy, and stress free experience while you're away. I current work full time as a Research Technician for the University of Leicester in the in Cardiovascular Science department. I currently have 1 day a week where I work from home, usually a Thursday. I am therefore free to help with pet sitting on Thursdays during the day, providing I can work from your home. I am also free over the weekend for pet sitting duties. For drop in visits and dog walks I am available all week, before 9am and after 5pm. When caring for pets in their own home, my top priority is making sure they feel comfortable, secure, and loved in their familiar surroundings. I always take the time to understand their usual routine, including feeding times, walks, play, and rest. I understand how leaving our beloved pet can be an anxious or nervous time, therefore, I endeavour to maintain a sense of normality and minimise any stress while you're away, for both yourself and your fur babies. I’m respectful of both your pet and your home. I ensure I keep everything clean and tidy, follow all instructions closely, and ensure your pet gets plenty of attention, affection, and supervision. Whether it’s cuddles on the sofa, quiet time for older pets, or fun play sessions, I tailor my care to suit their needs and personality. I also believe clear communication is key, so I’m happy to send regular updates and photos to give you peace of mind.

“Amy has been great visiting our little terrier Mollie today while we were visiting Calke Abbey Kept us informed and sent pics of mollie”

About: ****** please note I work rolling shifts. Please message and I will see if I am off work and can help with your needs. Shifts are on a rolling week so different days off each week******** I grew up in a house hold with a variety of rescue dogs from different backgrounds and breeds- 11 to be exact! Over the years I have assisted my mum with raising these dogs and volunteered at rescue centres. I have sat multiple breeds , more so in the last two years , big and small and multiple at a time. More recently in the last two years I have began dog sitting for colleagues , these breeds include collies , working dogs , an epileptic Labrador requiring medication and working around people who work shifts. I have also boarded two German shepherds for fourteen days. I have my own mallonis who is loving and high energy. I am more than happy to administer medication if needed and house sit around my work. The dog always comes first , with regular updates of photos of your pet amongst an abundance of cuddles ! I am DBS checked and more than happy to provide references! I am new to rover , I would like to pursue my love of animals around my day job - which allows me to have time off in the week. This makes me flexible if evening or day visits are required ! I currently work full time - but I work shifts and mainly weekends. This allows me time off in the day and week day avadability. All animals will meet my own dog via a walk outside the home. The dogs will then be introduced into a secure garden and finally into the house.

“When we entrusted our beloved fur babies to Saffron Smart, we didn’t just find a cat sitter—we found a guardian angel for our whiskered wonders. From the moment she stepped into our home, her gentle demeanor and genuine love for animals were undeniable. Our shy babies, normally hesitant around strangers, were purring in Saffron’s lap within minutes—a miracle we never thought possible! She not only tended to their needs with meticulous care, but she also showered them with affection, playtime, and the attention they deserved. The daily updates and adorable photos she sent us brought so much peace of mind, turning our time away from home into a guilt-free experience. Saffron didn’t just keep our cats fed and entertained; she made them feel safe, loved, and cherished. Coming home to happy, relaxed cats was proof of her magical touch. It’s rare to find someone who treats your pets like their own family, but that’s exactly who Saffron is. If you’re looking for someone to go above and beyond for your furry friends, look no further than Saffron. She’s more than a cat sitter—she’s a true blessing. Thank you, Saffron, for giving us the priceless gift of peace of mind and for loving our kitties as much as we do! ❤️🐾”
