About: What sets me apart is my real-life experience as a dog owner and reliable work-from-home dad. I’ve cared for a Staffy cross, so I’m confident handling strong, energetic breeds with patience and care. I’m also comfortable with puppies, seniors, and everything in between—whether that means sticking to a training plan or just providing calm, steady companionship. Your dog will be in good hands. As a work-from-home dad, I’m all about routine and reliability. I’m often out getting my steps in, and I’d love to have your pup join me! Pet care fits naturally into my day and helps me stay active while giving your dog the attention they deserve. When I visit a pet owner's home for drop-ins or walks, I treat it with the same care and respect as my own. I stick to your pet’s routine—whether that’s feeding, playtime, walks, and make sure they feel safe, seen, and cared for. As a work-from-home dad, I’m dependable and detail-oriented, so you can trust that your pet’s needs are always my priority.

Anna took wonderful care of Olivia while I was away. I received photos, videos, and regular updates every day, which gave me great peace of mind and allowed me to see how happy and comfortable Olivia was in her care. She is incredibly caring, attentive, and affectionate, and she followed everything I asked for to the letter. It was clear that Olivia felt completely at ease and was very well looked after throughout my time away. I would highly recommend Anna to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and loving to care for their pet. I came home to a very happy cat, and I couldn’t have asked for better care for Olivia. Thank you so much! ❤️

Michelle was amazing looking after our Honey. She spent time with Honey and played if she wanted it or just giving her fuss dependent on her mood. Michelle sent us updates with photos and videos on time without fail so we were able to relax while we were away knowing that Honey was happy. I would highly recommend Michelle!

Wow! Shania is a real find. The old adage that you can’t teach an old dog new tricks was proved to be nonsense as, after explaining our dog was not great on the lead, she managed to use her knowledge and expertise to train him to be much better. After two weeks, he is a happier little soul when we are out and much more fun to walk. If I could give more than five stars, I would. Thank you so much for keeping our dog so happy.

About: Worked on an animal farm, in a doggy daycare and at a small pet rescue. I’ve had my own pets throughout my life including many dogs, cats, reptiles and small animals. I have qualifications in level 3 animal management and a pet sitting and dog walking diploma I’m just starting out my own business so I’ll be taking on many clients and have plenty of time for your furry babies. I will have a call with the owner at first to discuss everything I need to know about you and your pet. I will then schedule a free visit to meet you and your pet and have a look around the home (only the rooms I would need to know) and get to know where everything is

About: Growing up, I was always surrounded by dogs, so caring for animals has been a natural part of my life. My family has had both a Belgian Shepherd and a German Shepherd, which means I'm confident and comfortable with large breeds as well as smaller dogs. We currently have two lovable Bulldogs, and I also regularly help care for my grandmother's two cats. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, whether that's going for walks, playing, giving them company, or simply making sure they feel safe and loved. I'm also happy to handle feeding, cleaning, and any mess that comes with pet care. What sets me apart is my attention to detail. I know every pet has their own routine, and I always follow owners' instructions carefully so you can have complete peace of mind while you're away. I’m currently working part time and from home, so I have plenty of free time to look after your dogs or cats. I’m available on weekdays and weekends as well, also very flexible in time. If I would like me to stay over at your house to company your pet I would love to do that, following the owner’s detailed instructions so everything can go smoothly.

About: I’ve had my son Bertie (Biewer terrier) for 3 years and Sophie (Malteypoo) for 2 years, I’ll start with Bertie he’s a complex little old man, he’s a senior dog recently turned 12 years old and comes with complex needs such as specific food, he can’t walk so I use a dog friendly back pack for him unless he wants to meet new dogs then he comes out. He has to have a bath each day due to his incontinence issues and he has complex dental needs, but other than that he’s a happy boy with a great quality of life. Now for Sophie she’s a handful as she’s only 2 years old and still a very playful puppy she’s taking training very well and loves an afternoon cuddle and treats and as well as annoying Bertie whenever she can. My cats are easy to look after so they don’t require a lot apart from my Maine coon cross cat as he’s so hairy he needs to be brushed once a night, Sophie is an easy dog as for Bertie he requires a lot of grooming due to incontinence and can only eat certain things and unfortunately can’t walk far at all Will love, affection, care and a lot of treats. I’m open to however you look after your animals I’m confident I can also provide that

About: I’ve had the experience of looking after and caring for my own family dogs and cats growing up and have the trust from friends and neighbours to look after theirs. I am a university student so having the flexibility in hours that pet care offers, gives me the opportunity to do something that I would really love and enjoy doing around my studying. I am also a really active person I go for walks daily and having a little buddy to join me would make those walks a lot more fun. Caring for someone’s pet within their home I make sure that I have the specifics on how they look after their own pet when they are around to ensure a routine is kept as much as possible. I am an energetic person so a lot of playing around but also a lot of snuggles to.

I couldn’t be happier with the care Óscar received while we were away. Communication was excellent throughout — after every visit I received a detailed update covering everything relevant, along with lovely photos where it was very clear that Óscar was happy, relaxed and completely comfortable with Eloise. Eloise took excellent care not only of Óscar but also of everything related to him, keeping his food, water, litter and surroundings clean and tidy throughout our time away. When we came home, Óscar was absolutely happy and well, and everything had been looked after perfectly. Having someone so reliable, attentive and caring looking after him gave me real peace of mind while we were away. I would happily trust Eloise with Óscar again and I can't recommend Eloise enough! Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of him! ❤️

There are 1,247 sitters on Rover for Cat Sitting in Hinckley . About 92% of Hinckley sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter trays. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialisation or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
