Michelle is a lovely person and the best pet sitter I ever had. My Luna fell in love with her from the first visit. She knows how to keep her calm and entertained at the same time. I trust her to the maximum because even in emergency situations she acted quick and with responsibility. I don't know about you but me I found my forever pet sitter. Thank you so much Michele 💖

About: I’ve had the experience of looking after and caring for my own family dogs and cats growing up and have the trust from friends and neighbours to look after theirs. I am a university student so having the flexibility in hours that pet care offers, gives me the opportunity to do something that I would really love and enjoy doing around my studying. I am also a really active person I go for walks daily and having a little buddy to join me would make those walks a lot more fun. Caring for someone’s pet within their home I make sure that I have the specifics on how they look after their own pet when they are around to ensure a routine is kept as much as possible. I am an energetic person so a lot of playing around but also a lot of snuggles to.

About: As a dedicated animal lover, I understand that pets are family & deserve the same care, attention, and affection they receive with their owners. Over the years, I have gained extensive experience caring for both dogs & cats through regular pet sitting for friends & family who trust & rely on me to look after their pets while they are away. This has given me valuable experience with a wide range of personalities, routines & care requirements, allowing me to adapt my approach to each individual animal. I have also gained experience caring for rescue dogs & cats through supporting my son’s involvement as a foster volunteer for a dog charity, as well as helping care for rescued & rehabilitated cats. While I have not been directly involved in the rehabilitation process itself, I have cared for many of these animals & understand the patience, consistency, and reassurance that some pets need to feel safe & secure. A key part of my approach is taking time to understand each pet & their owner’s individual needs. I take the time to get to know each pet and work closely with the owners to provide truly bespoke care tailored to their pet’s needs, routines & preferences. Whether that’s maintaining a specific feeding or exercise schedule, accommodating special requirements, or providing updates & check-ins in the way that suits you best, I am committed to delivering a service that works for both you and your pet. My goal is always to ensure pets feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for, while giving owners complete confidence & peace of mind while they are away from their pets. I currently work flexible hours, which allows me to tailor pet care and sitting around my existing commitments. This flexibility enables me to accommodate a variety of routines and care requirements, ensuring pets receive the attention, companionship, and consistency they need. I am available during weekdays, as well as evenings and weekends, and I aim to work with owners to provide care that fits both their schedule and their pet’s individual needs. The safety, wellbeing & happiness of every pet in my care are always my highest priorities. I take the time to understand each pets routine, behaviour and specific requirements before providing care, ensuring they feel secure in a familiar environment. When caring for pets in their own home, I treat both the animal and the owners property with the upmost respect. I follow all instructions provided, maintain established routines whenever possible, and ensure the home is left secure and exactly as I found it. Regular updates can be provided for additional reassurance and peace of mind. During walks I prioritise safety at all times by using appropriate leads & equipment, remaining attentive to my surroundings and adapting walks to suit each dog’s age, temperament, energy level, and individual needs. I understand that every pet is different and take a calm, responsible, and thoughtful approach to ensure they remain safe, happy, and well cared for throughout their time with me.

About: I have always had a passion for animals, especially dogs since early childhood, after my mum brought home our family dog Mojo a sprocker spaniel. Since then I have wanted to put this energy into a business. I have lots of hands-on experience with dogs of all breeds, ages & temperaments, from chihuahuas to vizsla, and some of the stronger breeds known to be stubborn such as Akitas. All dogs will be treated with the same love and respect I treat my own. I am currently a University student studying Animal Behaviour and Welfare. I do advise you to book a meet-and-greet with me so I am not a stranger to your pet before my scheduled pet sit, that way your pet can feel comfortable with me in your home while you are away. During the summer (mid-June to late September) I can offer commitments to booked pet-sitting clients, and anyone who would like a pet walker/visiter. This also applies to the Christmas and Easter period (mid-December to mid-January, and mid-April to the end of May). I am DBS checked, and have a full driving licence. . I am currently a University student studying Animal Behaviour and Welfare. Upon request, I can offer training in areas you would like while caring for your dog. I walk them to suit your dog's needs and schedule, multiple times a day if that is your dog's usual routine. This however, is weather permitting because of dangers such as heatstroke which can be deadly. Food suited to your dog can be given to them, plenty of toilet breaks outside & lots of love and cuddles if they are the cuddly type. I am also very aware of the current rise in dog thieves and take extra care especially when out walking.

About: I’ve had my son Bertie (Biewer terrier) for 3 years and Sophie (Malteypoo) for 2 years, I’ll start with Bertie he’s a complex little old man, he’s a senior dog recently turned 12 years old and comes with complex needs such as specific food, he can’t walk so I use a dog friendly back pack for him unless he wants to meet new dogs then he comes out. He has to have a bath each day due to his incontinence issues and he has complex dental needs, but other than that he’s a happy boy with a great quality of life. Now for Sophie she’s a handful as she’s only 2 years old and still a very playful puppy she’s taking training very well and loves an afternoon cuddle and treats and as well as annoying Bertie whenever she can. My cats are easy to look after so they don’t require a lot apart from my Maine coon cross cat as he’s so hairy he needs to be brushed once a night, Sophie is an easy dog as for Bertie he requires a lot of grooming due to incontinence and can only eat certain things and unfortunately can’t walk far at all Will love, affection, care and a lot of treats. I’m open to however you look after your animals I’m confident I can also provide that

About: I have had many years experience with dogs as my family have had dogs their whole life. I lost my fur baby a few years ago and am now ready to open up that love to all kinds of new four-pawed friends. All dogs in my life have been present since puppies so I am well-versed in the training parts of your puppy’s life and am happy to continue that on when your puppy is in my care. I can offer dog walks all around the clock as I am looking to shift that extra weight that stayed after having my baby a year ago - who is also very used to and loves dogs. I can’t wait to meet your little besties and making their days fun I am currently a stay at home mum so I am free 24/7. Starting to be a lot more active now and can travel pretty much anywhere I can walk, bus or train to easily. I am available at the drop of a hat and don’t mind same day messages. I have a large fenced garden, lots of space for your dog to run in and a friends farm with even more space if they need that extra leg stretch. I can offer constant supervision indoor and outdoor due to not currently working. I will make sure they get the right balance of exercise, play and cuddle time and will follow any instructions and/or special requirements to a T. Your baby will be well loved and well looked after in our home.

About: I've had and taken care of dogs since the age of 5, growing up with 3 dogs in my family home in Spain which we sadly had to leave behind.I am always the person to seek out a dog at any sort of social occasion. I will look after them as if they are my own. I've frequently looked after many dogs ranging from a mini toy poodle to a spanish mastiff and therefore have a range of experience. Looking after animals is in my nature, i have spent time volunteering in animal rescues with various different types of animals over the years. I currently work part time after finishing my degree and have alot of spare time on my hands that i would love to fill with any sort of dog related activities. I live at home with my mom so there will always be someone at hand to tend to any of your fur babys needs. I have a fenced garden with a mixture of patio and grass, a 2 minute walk from lovely big fields perfect for any type of walk. There are currently no other pets in the house after the passing of my little bunny. I love taking pictures so you will not be short of updates on what we get up to.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Cat Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Cat Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

There are 1,118 sitters on Rover for Cat Sitting in Hinckley . About 91% of Hinckley sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter trays. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialisation or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
