About: I have owned dogs for over 8 years and now work with dogs as my career. I am a Canicross coach and have taught many different dogs in the sport. I provide ad hoc care for friend’s dogs and have experience in dealing with various behavioural needs. As a Canicrosser I can also provide short (suitable to your dog) runs in place of walking, please request if interested I am a self employed running and Canicross coach with 2 dogs of my own, and am therefore in the home a lot . My partner is a fire firefighter and therefore shift work means he is in the home for long periods of time, although whilst in the home he will never left with sole care of any dogs - rest assured they will remain my responsibility at all times. I have a toddler who visits his father regularly and therefore will offer pet care during hours and days / nights that he is not here. I have high exercise need dogs and am used to ensuring they have all of their needs met I have a small fenced garden and 2 of my own dogs living in the house. Any dogs staying will likely be with me at all times but any requirement of me leaving the house will be agreed with the owner before booking completion, and the dog staying will not be left alone with my own dogs.

“From start to finish, Saffron was an absolute dream to deal with. After contacting her to check her availability, she came round to meet myself and my fur baby, Tilly. We hadn't left Tilly before, plus had recently moved house, so I wanted to ensure that she was able to stay in her own environment. Saffron put me at ease right away and Tilly allowed her to stroke her on the first interaction which is very rare! Saffron sent me regular updates and photos which was a much anticipated message for us whilst we were on holiday. About: I have had cats since I was 5 years old and dogs for 3 years. I have handled everything from feeding and cleaning to birth and feeding newborns every two hours. I even have experience nursing a cat with congenital heart failure. I have a trained Afghan hound who can be off leash, so I am no stranger to stubborn active “untrainable” dogs. I am currently free with no commitments and so if needed can take on same day booking for walking and check ins. I will always update my availability. I will always follow the instructions and requirements given by owners. I understand the level of trust placed by owners to anyone they entrust the care of their beloved pet or their home environment and therefore understand that communication is vital. I will always give a report about the walk / check in and will update owners on any injury or out of the ordinary behaviour. When she came round before we went away, both cats took to her immediately and her pre-care visit was very thorough. Really happy with the service Sapphire provided. I received daily updates and photos which put my mind at ease, as I knew Curly was being well looked after. Sapphire was great at communicating and very accommodating with working around schedules when sorting out key handover, as well as helped me out with bringing in a cat food delivery I’d ordered that hadn’t arrived before I left. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm.
