Best of all he clearly loves and understands dogs. It’s so great to find someone who is clearly adored by his canine friends! Thanks Steve and family!”

“Julia was absolutely amazing with Safia ❤️ From the very beginning, she was caring, attentive, communicative, and incredibly thoughtful. She kept me updated throughout the stay with detailed messages about walks, food, water, playtime, and how Safia was doing emotionally, which gave me so much peace of mind, and the most thorough report about her day. She even washed and dried Safia’s blanket after a little accident without hesitation, such a kind gesture that truly shows how much she cares! Safia clearly felt comfortable and loved with Julia and her family, and it made me so happy to hear how well she got along with everyone 😊 I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better person. I would trust Julia again without a second thought and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable, warm, patient, and genuinely loving with dogs. Thank you again for taking such wonderful care of Safia 🐾”

About: I genuinely treat every pet like family—caring for them with love, patience, and attention to detail. I’m comfortable caring for senior pets, and keeping up with energetic puppies. I take the time to understand each pet’s routine and personality, ensuring they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. You can count on me for regular updates, photos, and peace of mind! I work as a researcher during the day at the University of Leicester, and since I live on my own, pet sitting is a wonderful way for me to enjoy companionship during the evenings and weekends. I genuinely love spending time with animals—it’s relaxing, rewarding, and brings a sense of balance to my routine. I’m also currently raising funds for a medical mission trip to Uganda, so pet sitting allows me to contribute to a meaningful cause while doing something I truly enjoy. Your pet will be in caring, responsible hands, and you’ll be supporting a good cause too! Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or at the owner’s home, my approach is always the same: make them feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I stick closely to their usual routines for feeding, walks, playtime, and rest to reduce any stress or anxiety. I give each pet plenty of attention and make sure their space is clean and cozy. If I’m in the owner’s home, I treat it with the utmost respect—keeping everything tidy and sending regular updates with photos, so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and well cared for. Their wellbeing is always my top priority.
About: I have been around animals all my life and was lucky enough to grow up with dogs, cats, horses, rabbits and hamsters- to name a few. I am a very loving, relaxed and laidback pet owner and love being around animals. I happily share my sofa and bed with my pets, so if that is something your dog would like, they would feel right at home when staying with me. My dog Oscar is a friendly and playful British bulldog and I also have 2 x 10 year old cats so any dog visiting would have friends to play with. I also have experience looking after puppies as well as older dogs. I work 4 long day a week but am free over the weekends to look after your dog. I generally walk Oscar once a day for an hour but sometimes he gets an additional half hour walk as well so can easily offer this for your dog. I have a large enclosed garden and space in the house to keep any dog separate from Oscar at nighttime if needed. There is also space for a crate if you prefer your dog to sleep in a crate.
“Five stars isn't enough for Sotiria! She took care of our dog, Bandit, during the bank holiday, and she was absolutely brilliant. Professional, caring, and Bandit clearly adored her. Kept us well updated and sent lots of cute pictures as well! We're so grateful and will definitely be using her again!”

About: I’m a caring, trustworthy and patient pet sitter with experience caring for puppies, senior dogs and post-operative dogs who need extra attention and gentle support. I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine and needs, so I always take the time to help them feel safe, comfortable and relaxed while in my care. I provide a calm, clean and loving home environment where dogs receive plenty of attention, affection, exercise and supervision throughout the day. Dogs are never left alone for long periods maximum 2-3hrs only when necessary and I make sure they have regular toilet breaks, playtime, walks and rest based on their individual routine and energy levels. I’m confident caring for energetic puppies who need patience and structure, as well as senior or recovering dogs who may require a slower pace, medication support, or extra comfort. I carefully follow all owner instructions to maintain routines and ensure pets feel settled and secure. Safety is always my top priority. Although I do not have a fully fenced yard, all outdoor time and walks are closely supervised, and dogs are always kept safely on leash when outside. I also carefully manage introductions and interactions if caring for multiple dogs at once to ensure every pet feels comfortable and safe. It is really rare that I will look after multiple dogs at once as I do prefer to look after one dog so I can provide him a safe place and comfort, unless it's from the same household. I know how important communication is when you’re away from your pet, so I provide regular updates, photos, and messages to give owners peace of mind throughout the stay. In the event of any emergency or concern, I would contact the owner immediately and seek veterinary care if needed. I am currently undertaking a first aid course for dogs. For safety reasons, I only accept vaccinated pets into my home. I treat every dog as if they were my own and always aim to give them the love, care and attention they deserve. As a student with a flexible schedule, I have plenty of time to spend with the pets I look after. I understand how important routine, attention, and patience are when it comes to animal care. Each pet is unique, and I always do my best to understand their personality and needs so they feel safe, comfortable, and at ease in my care. I care for pets in my home in a safe, calm, and loving environment. I live in an apartment with access to a large, secure fenced garden where dogs can enjoy supervised play and exercise off lead, but only with the owner's permission. I understand that every pet has their own routine, so I always follow the owner's instructions for feeding, walks, sleep, and any special requirements. Throughout their stay, pets receive plenty of attention, cuddles, playtime, and regular exercise to help them feel comfortable and at home. I'll also keep owners updated with photos and messages so they can have peace of mind while they're away.
“I can’t thank Sonia enough for stepping in at the very last minute to look after my French Bulldog, Pablo. With no time for a meet and greet, I was a bit nervous leaving him with someone new — but Sonia immediately put me at ease. She was incredibly responsive, professional, and most importantly, kind and calm with Pablo, who can be a bit of a diva sometimes! I got regular updates and photos, and it was clear he was relaxed and happy in her care. Finding someone so reliable and caring on such short notice is rare, and I feel very lucky to have found Sonia. I wouldn’t hesitate to book her again — highly recommended!”

“This is the second time Charlotte has looked after our cats whilst we are away. She sends regular updates and photos of them so we know they are happy. Will book Charlotte again for our next trip 🤩”

“From start to finish, Saffron was an absolute dream to deal with. After contacting her to check her availability, she came round to meet myself and my fur baby, Tilly. We hadn't left Tilly before, plus had recently moved house, so I wanted to ensure that she was able to stay in her own environment. Saffron put me at ease right away and Tilly allowed her to stroke her on the first interaction which is very rare! Saffron sent me regular updates and photos which was a much anticipated message for us whilst we were on holiday. We came back to a calm and content Tilly and would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Saffron. So much so, that I've already re-booked her!”

“Abi was lovely and friendly. She looked after my very shy kitty as well as my four guinea pigs. We got an update every day and it was nice to be able to relax knowing that they were in good hands ☺️. ”

“Lois was excellent, despite our kitty deciding he wasn’t going to be his usual friendly and playful self, Lois still visited every time and completed all that was asked and even above and beyond what we would have expected! If you need a sitter for your pet and are worried about leaving your furry friend with a stranger then look no further, Lois is great and we would definitely use her services again (if she will have our naughty cat!)”

“Martha's kind and friendly personality made it less worrying to leave my 17yr old cat in her care. She was very reliable and flexible adapting the visiting times to suit both, sending daily updates and photos and accommodating a last minute request due to the weather. Thank you : )”

About: I have cared for cats since I was 5 years old. I have kept cats for several years adding to my family. I have even reared several litters including premature kittens. I love cats of all sizes and temperaments and would be happy to look after your loved one.

“Sapphire was great with my cat Whiskey! She was very reliable, and gave us a peace of mind while we were on holiday by providing regular updates on him & his activities including eating habits. We will definitely rebook Sapphire again in the future! (:”

“Thanks Emily, you've done a fantastic job of looking after Marmalade for us by feeding her, cleaning up after her and staying to play with her every time. We also really enjoyed receiving the photos of Marmalade every day!!”

“What can I say except thank you so so much, Kelly, for taking care of my furry children while we were away. I actively looked forward to the detailed updates each day, even while I was on holiday, and seeing how they immediately took a shine to you let me know they were in great hands. Without a doubt, exceptional care - a true professional! Thanks a million!”

About: I grew up with many cats, from the age of 3 until today. My first cat, Scampi, I had for 20 years from age 3-23 and we had many more through out that time. My current lovely cat babies are Leonardo DiCatrio (Leo) and Norma Jean. I always make sure pets have access to a secure and familiar space so that they have a place to go to feel safe. I am calm, quiet and confident with pets and always willing to be patient with a pet as I am a new person coming into their home and recognise that this can be scary for them.

“It was Buddy's first time with Sonia (and Bailey) and he was completely at home from the moment he arrived. Sonia sent updates and photos throughout the day so I could see Buddy was really settled and having fun. I would definitely recommend Sonia and we have already rebooked for a day next month.”

“Couldn’t fault Alexandros, took Lulu on so last minute, she’s also in season and was wearing a nappy so she didn’t bleed all over the house and he took it off so she was more comfortable. Gave me constant updates throughout the day! Will book again”

“When we had an event in the area we left our golden retriever Loki, with Dimitri and her family for the day. Dimitri met with us the before to ensure everyone was comfortable. It was clear from the start that Loki was in the best hands. We got photo updates all day and it was clear he had the best time. Cuddles with the family, exploring the garden, a long walk in the countryside, a trip to the beer garden and all the treats a pup could wish for. We wish we lived closer! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone. Thank you again Dimitra and family!”

“My dog Leah settled in really quickly with Megan and I felt completely at ease leaving her with her. She sometimes can bark at new people or take a while to warm up but she didn't at all. Would definitely recommend Megan and ask her to have Leah again!”

“Carina was absolute brilliant with Artie, so flexible of his specific needs (he is very anxious and scared around other dogs) and helped to facilitate a really positive meeting between him and Mocha, who he now seems to be really relaxed around. She was really attentive and kept me well updated with photos (Artie particularly enjoyed the air-conditioning during the heatwave). Genuinely feel really lucky to have found someone so understanding and supportive of Artie's complications. Cannot thank her enough for making the whole experience so easy and making my first experience leaving Artie with a dog sitter such a positive one.”

About: We have always had dogs. I love taking care of them (and if I could I would have 100)! Whether it’s energetic pups who love long walks, senior dogs who need a gentler pace, or shy pets who require patience and reassurance, I adapt my care to each dog’s unique needs. I understand the importance of trust when it comes to your furry family member, so I treat every pet as if they were my own. I am currently working full-time so my flexibility is limited through week days. However I am fully flexible on weekends and more than happy to take care of any furry angels! I live by myself in a flat which is spacious enough for small and medium dogs. We have a backyard where the dog can play and I love taking the dogs on walks. No one will be involved in dogs’ care but me.
About: I have many years of hands-on experience caring for animals, both through volunteering at an animal shelter and privately for friends and family. Working with animals has always been an important part of my life – something I truly enjoy and find deeply rewarding. I currently dedicate most of my free time to animals, simply because I love their company and genuinely care about their well-being. As a student with a flexible schedule, I have plenty of time to spend with the pets I look after. I understand how important routine, attention, and patience are when it comes to animal care. Each pet is unique, and I always do my best to understand their personality and needs so they feel safe, comfortable, and at ease in my care. Your pet will have full access to my home. I also have a quiet, private room where pets can relax whenever they need their own space – a great balance between comfort and calm. Whether it’s an energetic dog that needs long walks or a shy cat who prefers a cozy corner, I adapt to what makes each animal feel best.
“I honestly can’t thank Elly enough for taking such amazing care of Albert. He’s a Border Collie x Lab and quite a nervous dog, and this was the first time he’s ever been left away from me, so I was really anxious about it. Elly was absolutely brilliant from start to finish – so patient, kind and understanding with him. I got regular updates and photos which really put my mind at ease, and it was clear Albert was in safe hands. When I picked him up after Monday to Friday, he was happy, settled and comfortable, which says everything. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Elly to anyone, especially if you have a nervous dog. I’ll definitely be booking again!”

About: I’ve had pets since childhood — including dogs, cats, and rabbits — from energetic puppies to senior animals who need extra patience, care, and attention. For me, pets are family, and that’s exactly how I care for them: with love, respect, and dedication. I have hands-on experience with feeding, medication, hygiene, and understanding animal behavior, always adjusting to each pet’s individual needs. I’m passionate about animals and truly believe in the unconditional love they give us. For me, caring for them is a joy — and also a great responsibility that I carry out with the affection they deserve. I work flexible hours for a company based in another country, which allows me to take on walks or pet visits at scheduled times without any problem. During the week, I’m available in the mornings or after I pick up my daughter from school, which is also a great time for park visits and walks. I’m available to care for pets both during the week and on weekends, including for longer periods if needed, always with love, responsibility, and full attention. When I care for a pet in their own home, I always respect their space and routine, following the owner's instructions closely to keep everything as familiar and stress-free as possible. I'm very mindful of safety — paying close attention to doors, gates, windows, and anything that could pose a risk. During walks, I always keep pets on a leash and go at their pace, ensuring they feel comfortable and secure. I value open communication with pet owners and provide regular updates, photos, and notes so they feel confident and at ease while I’m with their pets. For me, the animal’s safety, comfort, and well-being always come first.
“First time leaving my dog Amba for the day with Ivana and it could not have gone better. Ivana kept me updated throughout the day and sent some pics which were just lovely. Amba looked very relaxed and was very well looked after. I already have more bookings scheduled in and I look forward to Amba having more future stays with Ivana and her lovely family in the future. Thank you for taking such good care of my Amba.”

I feel that I have trained my own animals to a great standard and would know what to do if a situation arose where I needed to take action to protect your pet or others.
“Celeste helped me out last minute by walking my pup. Communicated really well and took him on a great walk. Clearly knows a lot about behaviour and training. Would highly recommend. Eugene isn't always the easiest to walk due to his age and size and she was great!”

I am available to fit around the customers requirements as I have recently only just started to look at more hours per week dedicated to walking or dropping in on pets that need exercising or playing with in their own environment. I am happy to work out a programme with the customer to benefit their dog and support them With the care of their family member. My garden is fully enclosed and plenty of room for your dog to play with my border collie who loves being chased. I live a few mins away from a park and fields and woods so lots of choices for walks and exercise for all.

I am reliable, friendly and trustworthy and would love to build a relationship with you and your precious pets This is my only commitment other than parenting 3 boys although they don’t need me so much these days meaning I can be readily available most days/times and can be flexible I would treat your pets like my own when they’re in my care, I am trustworthy and reliable and if I am in your home I would treat it with the utmost respect like I would expect my own home to be treated
About: Hi I'm Bethany, I am located in Great Glen and have 10 years pet experience. I look forward to hearing from you and can't wait to meet you and your pet! This is my full time job, your pet will have one to one care always. All pets have different needs and wants, and I’m here to make sure they are met. When looking after a pet in their home I’m happy to stick to their routine, I’m there one to one for whatever they need whilst you are away.
About: I have experience with dogs through my business Dig&Dog, by helping out family and friends, and through voluntary work abroad. I have taken care of lots of different breeds, sizes and ages and therefore can cater to any needs! I have my own business offering a variety of pet services including house sitting, dog walking & drop in visits. I often house sit overnight and work in the garden in the day, but often have availability for dog walks/drop-ins, especially in the autumn/winter. I have grown up with two cats and surrounded by the dogs and cats of family/friends, meaning I am very comfortable pet sitting and have lots of experience, which creates a relaxed atmosphere for pets to feel safe and most importantly happy!
“Beth was absolutely fabulous with my puppy and, like others have said, the best walker we've found on Rover. Enzo took to her really quickly and she was amazing at keeping us updated during her visit with him with videos and photos. Highly recommend!”

“The lovely Nadia, and her equally lovely daughter, walked Stan for me this morning, and did such a great job! It was my first time using this app, and she really put me at ease. They popped round to meet Stan the day before (and got on like a house on fire), so he was mega excited to see them again this morning! I'll definitely be hiring Nadia again, and would highly recommend her services! Stanley has 2 new best friends :)”

“Steve and his family were delightful and gave Maimie a lovely ‘home from home’ stay. Steve couldn’t have been more helpful. He gave us confidence from the moment we met him and his lovely dog Laszlo. He was a great communicator and sent through lovely updates and pictures while we were away. Best of all he clearly loves and understands dogs. It’s so great to find someone who is clearly adored by his canine friends! Thanks Steve and family!”

“Amanda and her family looked after our Frenchie really well. I had lots of lovely updates and pictures too. He enjoyed all the cuddles. We wouldn’t hesitate to send him to stay again :)) x”

“Bethany really looked after our cockapoo well, he was welcomed into their home and we were kept updated with regular pictures. He looked right at home! 💙. I would definitely trust her to look after him again. Thank you.”

“Daisy has again had a lovely stay with Aleks. She kept us updated with many photos and videos so we could see how much fun she was having and how much she was clearly not missing us! She has really made Daisy part of the family for the week so can highly recommend”

“Polly was so lovely and accommodating. Made a real effort with our dog. He wanted to stay when we went to pick him up!!! Will certainly be staying with Polly again if she’s available.”

“Sharon and Grant looked after Albie over night before his stay with them whilst we go on holiday. Sharon was great at updating about Albie’s stay and took wonderful care of him.”

“We were really pleased to hear that Ned had a wonderful time with Kathryn and her family! They were so lovely, and it was great to be kept updated throughout his stay. We felt confident that he was well looked after and given lots of love and attention. We wouldn’t hesitate to let him stay with this lovely family again.”

“Thank you so much Milena. I was worried to leave Maisie as she’s not been away before but she had the best time and I don’t think she wanted to come home! Milena sent lots of picture updates so I could see what she was up to. Will definitely rebook in the future. ❤️”

“Mason had such a lovely stay with Liga and her dogs! It was so smooth from the first introduction to picking him up. We got fantastic daily updates and Mason looked so happy in all of them. It was our first time using a dog sitter instead of kennels and we would honestly never go back after such a great experience. Thank you again Liga!”

“Yuvi and her husband are lovely. Left teddy in Yuvi’s care overnight and he had a lovely stay with plenty of walks. Yuvi kept sending photo updates of Teddy throughout the stay and he looked happy and calm. Would definitely recommend ???”

“I could tell that Chester enjoyed his time with them. I trust them completely and it feels like leaving them with family. I trust them and they communicated throughout the day and evening to let me know how Chester was. Already booked in the next weekend with them! Fantastic!”

“I can’t recommend Dipali and her husband enough! They were absolute lifesavers when our original dog sitter canceled on us last minute, just before our holiday to Morocco. Despite never having met us or Pablo before, they kindly agreed to take him in without a meet-and-greet, and at such short notice. From the moment my brother dropped Pablo off on Friday evening until we picked him up on Tuesday, Dipali and her husband provided the most loving and attentive care. They kept me updated with regular photos and messages, which gave me total peace of mind while we were away. It was clear that Pablo felt completely at home—he was so happy and comfortable that he’s actually crying the front door wanting to go back! Dipali and her husband truly have a passion for dogs, and their kindness and dedication shine through in the way they care for them. I’m beyond grateful for their help and will definitely be booking with them again. Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of Pablo!xx”
