“Michelle was amazing looking after our Honey. She spent time with Honey and played if she wanted it or just giving her fuss dependent on her mood. Michelle sent us updates with photos and videos on time without fail so we were able to relax while we were away knowing that Honey was happy. I would highly recommend Michelle!”

About: Hi, I’m Paul. I live in Longford (CV6) and am looking to spend my spare time keeping active and caring for local dogs. As I am doing this for the pure joy of walking and caring for dogs rather than a primary income, I am able to offer afffordable rates for my neighbours. I offer daily dog walks and drop-in visits. Whether your dog needs a high energy walk to burn off steam or just a quick pop-in for a toilet break, feeding and some fuss and company, I am here to help. I would love to meet you and your dog beforehand to make sure we are a perfect match, so please feel free to message me with any questions or requests. I am currently a full time carer for my daughter, so have plenty of time during the day for dog walks and drop-in visits. I will always keep dogs securely on their leads unless we are in a safe, enclosed space and you have given explicit permission. At your home I will act upon your instructions as to how you would like the drop-in visits to be carried out.

About: I have many years of experience caring for pets, both my own and those of family and friends. I have owned cats and dogs in the past, giving me valuable hands-on experience with pets of different ages, temperaments, breeds, and care requirements. Through owning and caring for animals, I have gained experience with feeding routines, administering medication and basic care, daily exercise, grooming, playtime, and providing companionship. I understand how important it is to maintain a pet’s routine and ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy while their owners are away. As an animal lover, I enjoy spending time with pets and getting to know their individual personalities. I am reliable, patient, and attentive to their needs, whether that means taking energetic dogs on long walks, providing mental stimulation and playtime, or offering calm and gentle care for cats and older pets. My flexible work-from-home schedule allows me to dedicate plenty of time, attention, and supervision to the pets in my care, ensuring they receive the love, exercise, and companionship they deserve throughout their stay. I work from home, which allows me to provide pets with plenty of attention and care throughout the day. I have the flexibility to take dogs on regular walks and ensure cats are well looked after. As I drive, I can easily travel to check on pets multiple times a day, making sure they are comfortable, fed, exercised, and receiving the care they need. I am an experienced and caring pet lover who can provide a safe, comfortable, and loving environment for your pets while you are away. I have a secure home with a garden where dogs can enjoy supervised outdoor time, play, and exercise. I am happy to care for both large and small dogs, as well as cats, and I can accommodate multiple pets at the same time, provided they are comfortable around other animals. I understand that every pet has its own personality, routine, and needs, and I take the time to ensure they feel relaxed and well cared for. I am confident administering medications when required and can follow specific feeding schedules, exercise routines, and care instructions. Whether your pet needs extra attention, regular walks, playtime, or a quiet place to rest, I will make sure they receive the care and companionship they deserve. My priority is to provide a loving home-from-home experience where pets feel safe, happy, and well looked after throughout their stay.

About: I’ve had my son Bertie (Biewer terrier) for 3 years and Sophie (Malteypoo) for 2 years, I’ll start with Bertie he’s a complex little old man, he’s a senior dog recently turned 12 years old and comes with complex needs such as specific food, he can’t walk so I use a dog friendly back pack for him unless he wants to meet new dogs then he comes out. He has to have a bath each day due to his incontinence issues and he has complex dental needs, but other than that he’s a happy boy with a great quality of life. Now for Sophie she’s a handful as she’s only 2 years old and still a very playful puppy she’s taking training very well and loves an afternoon cuddle and treats and as well as annoying Bertie whenever she can. My cats are easy to look after so they don’t require a lot apart from my Maine coon cross cat as he’s so hairy he needs to be brushed once a night, Sophie is an easy dog as for Bertie he requires a lot of grooming due to incontinence and can only eat certain things and unfortunately can’t walk far at all Will love, affection, care and a lot of treats. I’m open to however you look after your animals I’m confident I can also provide that
“Wow! Shania is a real find. The old adage that you can’t teach an old dog new tricks was proved to be nonsense as, after explaining our dog was not great on the lead, she managed to use her knowledge and expertise to train him to be much better. After two weeks, he is a happier little soul when we are out and much more fun to walk. If I could give more than five stars, I would. Thank you so much for keeping our dog so happy.”

About: I have loved dogs for as long as I can remember and have always enjoyed caring for and building bonds with them. Growing up, I regularly looked after my family’s dogs, including a Sheltie, a long-haired Poodle and a Cockapoo, giving me experience with different breeds, personalities and sizes. For over 5 years, I have also volunteered with a local Husky rescue, where I have gained hands-on experience caring for rescue dogs and helping them feel safe and comfortable. I have fostered rescue dogs and have even adopted one myself, so I understand how important patience, routine and reassurance can be, particularly for dogs who may be nervous or anxious. I have also helped with basic training, teaching rescue dogs commands such as sit and lie down, as well as helping them learn and respond to new names. I am confident working with dogs who need a little extra patience and reassurance and really enjoy getting to know each dog as an individual. Most importantly, I genuinely love spending time with dogs! Whether they are tiny, giant, energetic, nervous or just looking for a cuddle, I am happy to give them the attention, affection and care they deserve. 🐾❤️ I work as a teacher, so during term time I am generally out of the house from around 7am until 4pm on school days. However, I have much more availability at weekends and during school holidays, when I can dedicate plenty of time to caring for your dog. When I am looking after a pet, I make sure they are not left alone for long periods. Throughout the day, I am never usually away for more than around 4 hours at a time, and I can provide plenty of attention, walks, playtime and cuddles around my schedule. I am happy to discuss your dog’s individual routine and needs to make sure they feel comfortable and settled. Your dog’s safety and happiness are my priority. I understand that every dog is different, so I take the time to get to know their individual personality, routine and needs. I am especially comfortable with anxious or nervous dogs and know how important patience, reassurance and a calm environment can be. I am happy to follow your usual feeding, walking and care routines and can provide plenty of attention, playtime and cuddles. I will treat your home and your pet with the same care and respect I would want for my own, keeping you updated while you are away so you can have peace of mind.
About: Hi, I’m Rhys, a dedicated dog walker with a lifelong passion for animals. Growing up surrounded by pets, I developed a deep love and understanding for animals of all kinds. I’ve turned that passion into a career by helping busy pet owners give their dogs the care, exercise, and attention they need. Whether it’s a playful puppy or a senior dog, I tailor each sit/walk to suit their unique personality and needs. Your furry friend’s happiness, well-being and safety are always my top priorities! My dogs have always been my best friends and I will treat yours exactly the same, if not better! I aim to provide the best experience and service for you and your pets. I currently have a 9 year old Shih Zhu called Milo, he’s great with small and medium sized dogs but he gets little doggy syndrome around big dogs and likes to bark at them until he realises they are not a threat. I have extensive experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, personalities and temperaments, including dogs with separation anxiety. I am currently studying dog behaviour as I one day to aim to provide both sitting and training services. I provide constant care services for all dogs under my care so dogs are never unsupervised. This is both for safety and because I throughly enjoy spending time with animals. I do not feed dogs under my care anything that isn’t instructed by their owners. Dogs out on a walk are never off leash (no exceptions) but I do have long, strong leashes for dogs that like to exert a bit more energy. As standard, I normally send out 3 updates with photos throughout the day (usually morning, dinner time and bed time) but I can send more if you’d like me to! I have a questionnaire available that is designed for me to better understand your pets routine, needs, habits and personality. Meet and greets are required for boarding as Milo likes to meet dogs before they enter our home. This is my full time job, available 7 days a week. I am studying dog behaviour online in my spare time. Contact times are between 8am and 9pm everyday. I have a decent sized fully insulated house, which makes it warm in the winter and cool in the summer! I have a decent sized fully secure garden that dogs have full access to. I have plenty of toys, beds and activities to keep your dog comfy and entertained. My house is also situated right next to my local park (a couple of minutes walk away) which is ideal for dogs that love their walks and social interactions!
About: I have looked after dogs since the age of 10. I have had pet dogs all of my life and have walked friends and neighbours. I look after my daughter's dog on a regular basis both over night and walking. I am currently working part time so have plenty of time to fit in visits on weekdays and weekends, mornings and afternoons. I have my own car so travelling isn't a problem. The service I am offering is cat pop in service. 1 to 2 visits a day, feeding, cleaning cat litter and playing. Making sure your cat is well cared for whilst you are away.

“I came home to happy chilled out boys. Emma was reliable and great, sending update messages that gave me piece of mind while I was away, arranging visits was easy and straight forward. I recommend and will definitely book her again.”

“Highly recommend! Will be usuing again ! Was worried to leave my dogs for the 1st time but this lady did put me at ease ! Followed all instructions for both the dogs and kept me updated with message and photos! Amazing thanks so much x”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them is something I genuinely love. As the owner of The Paw Path, I provide calm, reliable and personalised pet care, treating every pet as if they were my own. I am fully insured, DBS checked and Pet First Aid trained, giving you peace of mind that your pet is in safe hands. Whether it’s an energetic puppy, a senior dog who enjoys a slower pace, or a cat who prefers quiet companionship, I tailor my care to suit each pet’s individual personality, routine and needs. At home, I care for my own Labrador, Cockapoo and Scottish Straight cat, so I’m experienced with different breeds, temperaments and energy levels. My Labrador, Loki, also has elbow dysplasia, which has given me valuable experience supporting a dog with mobility needs and ensuring walks are adapted to keep him comfortable and happy. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care, which is why I prioritise communication, reliability and regular photo updates, so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and well looked after. Caring for animals is at the heart of my daily routine. As the owner of The Paw Path, my days are centred around providing personalised pet care, whether that’s dog walking, pet visits or caring for small animals. My own pets- Loki, Izzy and Kasper, also keep me active every day, so spending time with animals is simply part of who I am. I carefully plan my schedule to ensure every pet receives the time, attention and care they deserve, without feeling rushed. Building trusting relationships with both pets and their owners is something I genuinely enjoy. Every pet is unique, so I take the time to get to know their routine, personality and individual needs before providing care. My aim is to keep their day as familiar and stress-free as possible while you’re away. During dog walks, I provide safe, one-to-one walks tailored to your dog’s age, energy level and abilities. Whether they enjoy an energetic adventure or a slower stroll, their wellbeing and happiness always come first. For pet visits, I follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. This can include feeding, refreshing water, administering medication (where agreed), cleaning litter trays or cages, playtime, enrichment, cuddles and plenty of reassurance. I also provide regular photo and video updates, so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and well cared for. I always treat your home with the same respect I would my own, ensuring it is left secure and tidy after every visit.
About: Please contact me for a free consultation. We are a dog-obsessed family of four and absolutely love having dogs as part of our home. I grew up with trained working spaniels and now have my own wonderful 11-year-old Sprocker Spaniel, so caring for dogs has always been a huge part of my life. Family and friends regularly trust me with their pets, and I’d love to offer that same home-from-home experience to other dog owners. I work part-time at a local school, and my husband works from home most of the time, so there is plenty of company, care, and attention throughout the day. Our two children, aged 6 and 8, are at school during the day and have grown up around animals. They are calm, kind, and very respectful of dogs. We have a large, secure half-acre garden where dogs can safely explore, play, and relax. Dogs are welcomed as part of our family, with access to both the house and garden. If preferred, they can also have their own space for feeding or sleeping. Every dog is treated as one of our own, while always respecting and following any routines, rules, or training preferences provided by their owners. We care for multiple dogs at a time, so it is important that all dogs staying with us are friendly and comfortable around other dogs. For the safety and wellbeing of everyone, we only accept neutered dogs and cannot accommodate females in season. We also require a meet-and-greet before any booking to ensure everyone is happy and a good fit. We provide exercise, enrichment, a safe and comfortable environment, and, of course, plenty of love and attention. We are committed to maintaining your dog’s usual routine as closely as possible to help them feel settled, relaxed, and at home during their stay. First Aid Trained I will amend the daily routine depending on the dog and their needs. However, two long walks will be offered, hours of playtime in the garden, time to rest with chews and toys and lots and lots of cuddles and love. I put dogs in their own room if I need to open the front door to keep them safe. I have secure fences but supervise dogs in the garden- please let me know if I have an escape artist staying so I can be extra vigilant.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
