I specialize in medium to large breeds, as I am most comfortable and experienced with their strength, stamina, and unique personalities. When your dog stays with me, their days will look slightly different depending on the day of the week, but they will always enjoy a predictable, balanced, and fulfilling routine.From Monday to Wednesday, I am completely free to focus on outdoor adventures and household pottering. A typical active day starts with a brisk morning walk around the neighbourhood to shake off sleep, followed by breakfast and a dedicated rest period while I catch up on chores. The middle of the day is spent outdoors; as a keen gardener, I love having a furry shadow tag along to sniff the borders, explore the garden, and sunbathe while I work. In the afternoon, we load up for a bigger adventure further afield, heading to local dog-friendly parks and trails for an extended walk packed with new sights and smells. We finish the day with mental stimulation games and plenty of evening relaxation.From Thursday to Sunday, I work late six-hour shifts at a local café, but your dog is never truly alone. My husband works from home, meaning there is always a human presence in the house for safety and comfort. Before I leave for work, your dog will enjoy a long, high-energy "power walk" or park trip designed to thoroughly tire them out, followed by some fresh air pottering in the garden. While I am away, they settle comfortably into their crate or safe resting space with a long-lasting treat or puzzle toy to enjoy a deep, peaceful afternoon snooze while my husband works. On weekends when my husband might be busy, I also have a trusted neighbour on hand to pop in for extra garden potty breaks. I return home to a quiet house, where we enjoy a final garden stroll and a calm midnight cuddle before bed. We live in a lovely suburban home with a fully secure, private garden designed for both relaxation and exploration. The garden is completely enclosed by sturdy fencing and gates standing well over 6 feet high, ensuring total peace of mind and security - especially important as we live alongside a busier suburban road. The garden itself offers a fantastic mix of textures and environments for a dog to explore. There is a comfortable patio area right outside the door, a central grass lawn and pathway perfect for a bit of pottering, and a dedicated, shaded vegetable patch set on stones. This shaded area is a favourite spot for dogs to cool down, rest, and keep me company while I garden. Whether your dog loves to sunbathe on the patio, sniff along the paths, or relax in the shade, they will find a safe, secure haven here. In the summer, I leave the back door open so dog guests can go in and out and then ensure that they've explored and toileted regularly. I also make sure that the heatwaves are managed by having them stay in rooms with air con units and fans as well as giving them crushed ice and approved frozen treats. I have a conservatory that in the cooler months becomes the dog's space, otherwise we set up beds or crates in the living room depending on the dog's needs. I'm happy for them to follow me around the house as long as they don't go on the beds upstairs.

About: ever since i was little, i’ve always been an animal lover, i had 5 dogs growing up and 3 cats, and as soon as i moved out of my parents home, i rescued my current dog freddie and i had a cat called clint, i also own hamsters and guinea pigs. i will forever treat your animals like my own and love them just as much as i love my own dog, my aim is to gain trust from both yourself and your fur baby’s, so you feel at ease letting me look after them. i currently work monday to friday 9-5, although i work from home and have a very flexible schedule so am available for drop in visits before/after work and during lunch time, along with anytime on weekends. i am also available for dog walks either at lunch time and evenings alongside weekends. i will always ensure that during the time i care for your animal in your home that i follow all routines/care that they currently receive so that they aren’t unsettled and gain my trust, they will always get as much love and attention that my own animals get.

About: I have loved dogs for as long as I can remember and have always enjoyed caring for and building bonds with them. Growing up, I regularly looked after my family’s dogs, including a Sheltie, a long-haired Poodle and a Cockapoo, giving me experience with different breeds, personalities and sizes. About: I had 4 dogs growing up from small to large breeds. I look after my friends pets from time to time. Have a very large garden for the dogs to play I currently work from home so I am able to look after pets without any issues and have a large garden to keep them entertained and lovely green spaces nearby for long walks I have fenced garden so your furbabies can play around. About: My family always had dogs when I was growing up and as soon as I was able to I brought my own dog home. I got Dixie when she was 8 weeks old and we had the best life together until she very sadly passed away in 2025. I lasted 6 months without a dog in the home and brought Dottie the cocker spaniel home in September '25. I’m experienced in what a dog needs (walks, toilet trips, food, fresh water, baths if necessary, affection etc) and importantly what their parents need also (to feel reassured and confident their fur baby is in good, safe hands). I feel I have a natural connection with all animals but dogs in particular and I’m honestly never happier than when I’m in the company of our four legged furry friends. Dixie was my child and was treated as such - allowed the run of the house, fed like a Queen, slept on the bed - and Dottie is recieving the same princess treatment! Any dog staying at my house or being walked / looked after by me will be treated with care, love and respect. I am available for daycare, walks and boarding Monday - Sunday and flexible when it comes to peak holiday time. My calendar is always up to date with my availability. My garden is fully enclosed and has a small lawn for potty breaks. Dog beds are available. My house is two storey and has hard wood flooring downstairs.

About: I've had 2 dogs my entire life, both since puppies. My first when I was younger but I played a big part in her care, my second dog, Rem, I have had since she was born and she's my fur baby! I've had 14 cats living with me and owned in my life too, including fostering for an animal rescue before they found their forever homes. I don't mind little creatures like hamsters, Guinea pigs, rats, snakes, spiders, or any other reptile so are not a problem if you have these. I have never met a ferret but have heard they can be very fun to be around. I currently have a lot of free time, and really enjoy working with animals and being active. Your pets will be my first priority in the time they're in my care. I can look after your pet however you like, keeping to any routine you have in place or any dietary requirements they may need. I know all the local parks around Hinckley having lived here the majority of my life and will make sure your pets are kept on a leash unless you can guarantee they will recall.
