About: I have an undergraduate degree in Animal Behaviour and Welfare and have recently graduated with a Masters in Clinical Animal Behaviour. I have worked in veterinary practices caring for a variety of animals. I spent two years in kennels looking after puppies and adult dogs for guide dogs and was also a dog trainer at Dogs Trust. I am available for drop in visits and dog walks Monday to Friday, 8-6pm. I can have a play with your dog, feed them, and have experience in giving medication and eye/ear treatments. I will be able to let your dog out to the toilet if you are out all day. I can give them cuddles or a play session- whatever your dog would benefit from!

About: I am currently studying level 3 animal care at Moreton Morrell College. I get the opportunity to work with many different dog breeds there ensuring I have experience with all dogs big or small. I also work part time at a doggy day care which has given me lots of valuable experience in animal care and has given me the confidence to start my own independent business. A typical active day starts with a brisk morning walk around the neighbourhood to shake off sleep, followed by breakfast and a dedicated rest period while I catch up on chores. The middle of the day is spent outdoors; as a keen gardener, I love having a furry shadow tag along to sniff the borders, explore the garden, and sunbathe while I work. In the afternoon, we load up for a bigger adventure further afield, heading to local dog-friendly parks and trails for an extended walk packed with new sights and smells. We finish the day with mental stimulation games and plenty of evening relaxation.From Thursday to Sunday, I work late six-hour shifts at a local café, but your dog is never truly alone. My husband works from home, meaning there is always a human presence in the house for safety and comfort. Before I leave for work, your dog will enjoy a long, high-energy "power walk" or park trip designed to thoroughly tire them out, followed by some fresh air pottering in the garden. On weekends when my husband might be busy, I also have a trusted neighbour on hand to pop in for extra garden potty breaks. I return home to a quiet house, where we enjoy a final garden stroll and a calm midnight cuddle before bed. We live in a lovely suburban home with a fully secure, private garden designed for both relaxation and exploration. The garden is completely enclosed by sturdy fencing and gates standing well over 6 feet high, ensuring total peace of mind and security - especially important as we live alongside a busier suburban road. The garden itself offers a fantastic mix of textures and environments for a dog to explore. There is a comfortable patio area right outside the door, a central grass lawn and pathway perfect for a bit of pottering, and a dedicated, shaded vegetable patch set on stones. This shaded area is a favourite spot for dogs to cool down, rest, and keep me company while I garden. Whether your dog loves to sunbathe on the patio, sniff along the paths, or relax in the shade, they will find a safe, secure haven here. In the summer, I leave the back door open so dog guests can go in and out and then ensure that they've explored and toileted regularly. I also make sure that the heatwaves are managed by having them stay in rooms with air con units and fans as well as giving them crushed ice and approved frozen treats. I have a conservatory that in the cooler months becomes the dog's space, otherwise we set up beds or crates in the living room depending on the dog's needs. I'm happy for them to follow me around the house as long as they don't go on the beds upstairs.
