About: I am a zoology and conservation student at Bangor university and I have worked in 2 different businesses revolved around dogs: greyhounds daybreaks and doggy daycare. The greyhounds daybreaks required me to take care of the dogs that were in the establishment by walking them, feeding them, bathing them and playing with them. There would be the same dogs there for weeks as people would drop them off when they’ve gone on holiday so I was able to connect with them very well. I worked there for 2 years starting off there for my DofE but I carried it on after completion. The other experience I have at doggy daycare was when I completed 150 hours of work experience for my college animal management course. At Doggy Daycare I would look after a variety of dog breeds all day making sure they were safe, bathed and fed if they needed to be. I have a passion for animals especially dogs and have lots of experience. I am currently working part time at a restaurant called willow and back from university for the summer so I have plenty of time to take care of your dogs! I have experience taking care of dogs and knowledge of their behaviours to create a safe environment for them. I will also listen to how you want me to take care of them in detail.
“Alessio was great, we booked him last minute when my husband and I were sick and he went out of his way to help us. He was very calm with our puppy and we would use him again 😁”

About: I’m an experienced dog owner and carer, and my own German Shepherd Dog is a certified Pets As Therapy dog, which reflects a calm, responsible, and reliable approach to animal care. I’m comfortable following detailed instructions, maintaining routines, and communicating clearly with owners. Additionally, I also have many years of experience caring for and managing multiple rental and holiday properties, including overseeing maintenance, security, and day-to-day responsibilities. House sitting suits my lifestyle well. I work largely from home as a children’s author, which means I’m present throughout the day and able to give pets consistent attention. I enjoy quiet, settled environments, long walks, and spending time in nature, which makes caring for dogs especially rewarding. NOTE: With stays longer than three nights, I will need to bring my well-behaved German Shepherd. He gets on with other dogs, but if your dog does not, then I am not the right fit for stays longer than three days. I care for pets in a calm, secure, and familiar way, always following the owner’s instructions and the pet’s usual routine. Whether in my home or a pet owner’s home, I focus on creating a relaxed environment where pets feel safe, settled, and well cared for. Safety is always a priority. I’m careful with doors, gates, leads, and outdoor access, and I only introduce dogs to new environments or other animals gradually and sensibly. Walks, play, feeding, and rest are tailored to each pet’s needs, age, and energy level. I take trust very seriously. I’m DBS checked through my work with schools, and I can also supply a letter-headed solicitor’s reference from the Principal of a law firm who has known me professionally since 2009. I treat every home and pet with respect, confidentiality, and care, and aim to give owners complete peace of mind.
About: I have had lots of experience looking after dogs. I worked at my local vets when I was younger. Until very recently I had my own beautiful smooth collie Belle. who sadly went over the rainbow 🌈 at 13 1/2 years old. I miss her so much and miss all the walks we had over the years. I would now love to be able to take care for dogs that need a bit more attention and maybe longer walks. I have plenty of time to offer as I am officially retired now. I have experience with older dogs and happy to have the challenge of a puppy too. I am very much of the opinion that all dogs need a routine and I am willing to offer this and will keep to the owners instructions as requested. I can now look after dogs to suit any dog owners requirements. I am completely flexible and as I am retired. I can start early or finish later whatever is needed. I can now offer a tranquil space at my house which offers lots of open spaces, including open fields. I do have a secure large garden on offer, where dogs can run freely and in a safe environment. There is also lots of outside space around my house. Local walks could include Sutton Park but there are lots of other quieter walks around. I will always make sure they have meals at the allotted time, fresh water on hand. Grooming as required. I am happy to administer any medication if required. Mainly keeping the doggies happy and content whilst they are on holiday just like those owners.
About: I’ve always felt most at home around animals, their unconditional love and trust make them the best companions. My earliest memories are of horses in my family’s stables in South Africa and volunteering at a local rescue centre in Birmingham. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with a wide range of animals, from big cats and zebras at a wildlife rehabilitation centre in South Africa to countless rescue pets, each with their own personality. There’s nothing quite like the moment an animal begins to trust you—it’s incredibly special. My beloved husky, Meeka (who appears in some of my photos), passed away recently, and I would be so grateful for the chance to spend time with your furry friends. I have just graduated from central saint martins and am excited to start a new role in september, so i have a lot of free time on my hands. i take pride in understanding the body language of any animal, after years of being in their company, communication becomes second nature as all living things I’ve found communicate in similar ways. I pride myself in the ability of clear communication and hence an apt accommodation of their needs.

About: Hi! I’m Emily, a personable dog and cat sitter based in Birmingham. Alongside my love for all animals, I have had experience taking care of both dogs and cats through family friends and will try my best to give your sweet pets the best experience. I have experience in daycare and overnight stays and I would be happy to introduce dog walking. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions - so excited to start taking care of your beloved pets! 🐾 I’m currently a university student, so during the summer I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of availability for pet care. This means I can give your pet lots of attention, exercise, playtime and companionship throughout the day. During term time, I’ll continue to keep my calendar updated so owners always know my availability! I understand that inviting someone into your home and trusting them with your pet is a big decision. Your pet’s safety, comfort and happiness will always be my top priority. I’m happy to arrange a meet-and-greet before any booking so both you and your pet can get to know me and make sure everyone feels comfortable. Every dog is different, so I believe it’s important to build that trust before you’re away. I’ll follow your dog’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication and any specific care instructions. I’ll also send regular photo and message updates throughout your time away, so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and your home is being treated with the utmost respect.

About: Hi, my names Lauren and I have a lot of experience with dogs. From having dogs of my own from the age of 4, I've learnt how special and important they are to people and why they need the best care. As well as having my own dogs, I've also volunteered at Bark Doggy Day Care in Walmley. This helped me learn the different needs and assets of different dog breeds. With the variety of age at Bark, I have experience with young, old and medium age dogs. Due to my own dogs too, I have experience with large and smaller dogs aswell. I currently work 2 days a week in Birmingham City centre. This allows me to have a wider availability of 5 days to give your pets more of my attention. However, i can still sit on those 2 days but I'd have to leave and come back for work! Before my visit/walk, I will always ask to meet your pet first in order to get to know them and to learn what type of care they need and how often. For example, their house rules, medicine or walks. This is to make me fully understand how to care for your dog whilst I have them in order to give them a better experience.

About: I’ve taken care of animals throughout my life. The animals have had good times and come multiple times. The animals have been different breeds I am currently working part time so the pets will have plenty of attention and my time. I am able to take them on long and short walks and keep them occupied during the day I have a fenced garden and live near a large open meadow. This means the pet will be able to play and have fun while being safe. I will be able to cage the dog if needed and keep them watched at all times
“Sammie is very friendly and definitely comfortable around dogs. She has a good approach with both of my dogs, one of whom is quite nervous/shy, and the other is quite lively and sometimes noisy, but Sammie is able to interact with each dog, as appropriate.”
About: Hi, I’m Natalia! Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve cared for friends’ and family’s pups over the years, and I’m lucky enough to share my home with a wonderful dog of my own. Whether it’s long walks, playtime in the yard, or just keeping them company, I truly enjoy spending time with dogs and making sure they feel loved and comfortable. Your pup will be in caring, reliable hands with me, treated just like family! 🐕🐾 How pet care fits into my routine: Since I work from home, I am able to give dogs plenty of attention throughout the day. Caring for pets already fits naturally into my routine. I start and end each day with walks, playtime, and quality time with my own dog. Working remotely allows me to be flexible with potty breaks, exercise, and check-ins, so your pup will never feel rushed or alone for too long. On weekends I enjoy taking longer walks or spending extra time outdoors, which makes it easy to include even more fun and care. For me, looking after dogs is not just part of the schedule, it is something I truly enjoy every day. In my home, pets are treated like part of the family. They get plenty of love, playtime, and attention throughout the day, along with regular walks and potty breaks to keep them happy and healthy. I make sure each dog has a comfortable space to relax and feel safe, whether that means snuggling on the couch or having their own cozy spot. Since I work from home, I am able to give them consistent care and companionship, making sure they never feel lonely. My goal is to create a warm, safe, and fun environment where every pet feels loved and right at home.
“Absolutely amazing service from Jennifer. From the first meeting I felt confident Olly would love his walks and that Jennifer clearly loved dogs. The updates, photos and comments were so lovely to read and it was great to see Olly having fun! Will definitely request Jennifer again!”

About: I've had dogs for over 20 years. Currently have 2 frenchies. My kids love dogs and as a family we regularly have our friends dogs whilst they are away. I work from home so am flexible, but only if I have had the necessary notice to be able to plan around the care of an additional pet. I love dogs and I want to make sure that your dog feels like part of the family when they are with us. We have a large fenced garden and a park close by. Our pets are crate trained and sleep in their crate. We usually use the crate when we have a new furry friend visiting to ensure that everyone is safe and comfortable. I will be the only one responsible for the care of your pet.
“We feel very lucky to have found Bruce (Tin On Y.) who we booked to walk our dog whilst we were away for a few days. He was absolutely wonderful with our dog, Wave - gentle, calm, patient and clearly very experienced. He also showed such kindness and thoughtfulness towards my parents, who were looking after the dogs at the time, which meant the world to us. It’s rare to meet someone who brings such genuine comfort and trust. We couldn’t recommend Bruce highly enough and will be booking him again without hesitation!”

About: Growing up I’ve always looked after pets. I grew up with two cat sisters who introduced me to feeding, grooming, playing and cuddling with pets. I then had two Guinea pigs, then a greyhound, then a Labrador (from a puppy) who moved away with my dad. Safe to say I’m missing him a lot (the dog of course) and would love to spend time with dogs and cats again. They bring so much joy and comfort to our lives and I like to think I can reciprocate that. I have experience training a puppy and walking strong dogs on leads - and playing fetch endlessly! I’m a currently doing a masters in landscape architecture at BCU, which I attend weekly on Mondays. Dog walking and pet sitting is a perfect way for me to de-stress, get exercise and of course tend to your pet’s needs, whatever they may be. Pets are always happiest when put in an environment they know and are comfortable with. I’m happy to pet sit in your home to suit your pet’s needs whether it be letting them out to go to the toilet, grooming them, practising ticks, playing or cuddling.
About: I have had pets since the age of 7, starting with a rabbit called Snowflake! I have always had dogs in the family and had a working cocker spaniel called Toby whilst I was growing up, who I trained myself! Myself and my partner started small with a hamster, but we now have our pampered Poochon Maisie. I have administered medication to dogs, so this isn't something that phases me, if your pup needs it! My prices are low because I want to be accessible for people, especially when kennel and doggy day care prices can be so expensive! I am currently flexible in the week and have weekend availability! Whether you just need someone to pop in and take them for a walk or go and sit with them for a few hours. I am happy to crate your dog if necessary. I also have a friendly poochon called Maisie who would love to make friends, however the 2 can be kept separate if preferred. With Sutton park on my doorstep, I can give your dog the exercise it needs!
“Charlotte was so easy to get hold of and replied so promptly it was easy to set up a walk with her. Charlotte arrived early and was extremely friendly. Our fur baby slept all afternoon after their walk. I have already booked several more walks in with Chatlotte. Thank you xxx”

About: I’m highly qualified holding a level 3 extended diploma in animal care and management, a certificate in canine first aid. I’m also fully insured and have over 3 years professional dog walking experience. I’m available for booking Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5pm and will always arrange an in person consultation prior to the first walk to introduce myself, talk about your dogs needs and how I can tailor the walks to your dogs needs I will always check with clients whether or not they are comfortable with their dog being off the lead and how they are with other dogs. This dramatically reduces the risk of any incidents and ensures the safety of your dogs. I also will never walk your dogs by roads and always opt for green spaces such as Sutton park.
About: I have my page on Facebook with all my reviews. ConnorK9petServices if you would like me to forward you the link more pictures are available include doggy day care, overnight boarding in my home, dog walking, pet home visits, dog grooming or if preferred I can pet sit in your home for more anxious pets that prefer to relax in their own home comforts. I am a qualified dog groomer with I and have a dog grooming salon in my garden where Customers often ask me to groom their dogs whilst they are boarding with me so they can collect them clean, trimmed and styled! I don’t just care for dogs I house sit and do drop on visits for other pets also including cats and smaller animals. I have my own beautiful basset hound and Shitzu who are well socialised and enjoy playing with other dogs. I have 10 plus years experience of looking after various dog breeds of my own ranging from small to large. I am have a clear Criminal records check which is updated every year I can n provide a copy of this prior to house sitting. I have always had a genuine passion when it comes to caring for all animals and am probably at my most happiest when in the company of any animal! I do have a tendency to spoil dogs during their visit with treats, coach cuddles and they are allowed on my bed if they are clean. So please let me know if you would rather I didn’t do any of these things, if it interferes with any training you would prefer me to mirror during your pets stay. Please leave a review if you are happy with my services on completion of your holiday! ☺️ 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I am currently working part time hours so am able to spend quality time with your dog and offer sitting and boarding on my days off. I have older children and a partner who if I pop out for an hour can still give your dog the attention they need minimising any time they are left alone. Having a variety of ages in the house also helps dogs get varied play, affection and social interaction. There are no rooms off bounds to dogs that come to stay, all dogs are treated as part of the family during their stay and will happily take dogs out with us as a family if we are going to BBQs with friends, park days, carnivals etc. I have a long garden which is fenced where the dogs are free to roam in and play as often as they like throughout each day. I will only usually have a maximum of 1 dog stay per time so I can ensure I can offer the right care and attention to my dogs and yours. This is also vital for safety reasons. At a push I may stretch to well behaved 2 dogs. This role is my main job so I prioritise the care of pets when looking after them and work around their needs. I will leave your pets for no longer than 4 hours at a time if sitting in your home. In my home the same but as I have a partner and 2 older children it is not likely they will be left often at all as some one is always usually home. I make an effort to take dogs with me when going out and have been known to take dogs to the German market, Football matches, Pitdoor water parks, BBQs with friends and carnivals where possible. So if we can and we are busy we take them with us. I have a large fenced in garden if sitting in my home, dogs are not left unattended in the garden and are supervised. If sitting in your home I follow strict instructions lead by you and your pets care needs to ensure they are safe throughout my visits or stay.
