“We booked Kat for a week in May but haven’t really left our dog before with somebody we didn’t know so thought we’d see how he got on for a weekend. Everything was great, Arlo looked really happy and part of the family, I had regular updates which were lovely to see, would definitely recommend.”

“Chris had a lovely time staying with Kayan while I was on holiday. She sent me pictures every day and he looked smiley and happy in all of them. She followed Chris's usual feeding schedule, took him for walks, and played games with him in the garden. I've no doubt that he had a lovely time and I'd be very happy to leave him with her again - it's reassuring to know that he'll be in good hands.”

“Paulina and her family were able to accommodate my Charlie after being cancelled on for a 3 night stay and I cannot recommend her enough! Communication was brilliant throughout and I was confident my dog was being looked after without any hesitation. I got regular updates and Charlie has come back to me very happy and even when I picked him up, I’m not sure he really wanted to leave. I will definitely be booking Paulina again!!”

“Our 4 year old Labradoodle, Albert, has just returned from a wonderful stay with Anita. She took him on lovely walks in lots of different places, often including an extra evening stroll near her lovely home. It was immediately clear how happy and well-cared-for he was, he ate really well, received plenty of company and attention, and came home relaxed and content. Anita sent regular updates and photos throughout his stay, which we looked forward to every day. She clearly loves dogs and provides excellent care. We would happily leave Albert with her again in the future and highly recommend her to other dog owners.”

About: I’ve always been passionate about animals and have gained experience caring for dogs through working in kennels and at a dog daycare, dog walking and completing an animal care college course. I’ve cared for dogs of many different breeds, sizes and personalities, and I love getting to know what makes each dog unique. I also study dog body language and behaviour, which helps me understand dogs better and make sure they feel safe and comfortable. I also train dogs using positive only methods and provide enrichment through play, and one-to-one attention. My goal is to give every dog a happy, relaxed home-from-home experience where they can stick to their routine and feel loved while they’re away from their family. I have a flexible schedule, allowing me to dedicate my time and planning according to your baby and their needs. I enjoy creating a routine that works for each individual dog, including play, enrichment, training sessions and plenty of attention throughout the day. I have a strong interest in dog behaviour and body language, which helps me understand each dog’s personality, comfort levels and needs. I’m happy to follow each owner’s routine, including feeding, commands and habits, so their dog feels settled and comfortable. I also love keeping owners updated with photos and messages so they can feel reassured that their dog is happy and well cared for. The safety and comfort of every animal in my care is my top priority. I care for my own pets by providing a safe, clean environment, a consistent routine and making sure their individual needs are always met. Because I have a strong interest in animal behaviour and body language, it helps me understand each animal as an individual and see and understand their needs. I’m passionate about positive training and believe mental stimulation is just as important as physical stimulation, building trust through patience and communication. I have even trained my own cat to learn tricks and basic obedience! 😂 My home has a large, secure fenced garden, giving dogs a safe space for supervised play, enrichment, toilet breaks and training sessions. I work around each dog’s routine rather than expecting them to fit around mine, including following their normal feeding, sleeping and comfort habits. If a dog is crate trained and their owner uses a crate as part of their normal routine, I am happy to continue this while they are in my care. On top of all this I provide frequent updates with pictures and videos of your fur babies so you can see how they’re getting on ❤️
“Hio Man T took excellent care of our two dogs. We were sent pictures and videos on occasion. Our dogs came home tired and happy, which gives us every indication that they were well cared for while we were on holiday. It was a nice bonus that Hio Man was able to pick up and drop off our pups. We will definitely use this sitter again!!”

About: I have taken care of dogs for years as well as owning my own. I will make sure your dog gets plenty exercise and is spoilt. I’m currently working Monday to Friday from home so have plenty of time to look after dogs. I like going for long walks every day Care for pets in my own home. I have a secure back garden and have plenty space for them to run around. They would need to be ok with other dogs as I have a Frenchie who loves to play with other dogs.
“I couldn’t be happier with the care my dog, Chase, received over the last three days. From the moment I dropped him off, I knew he was in great hands. Chase came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well looked after, which gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. The care, attention, and love shown to him were truly appreciated. I would highly recommend this dog sitter to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and reliable. Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of Chase—we’ll definitely be back!”

“Greta and her family were absolutely AMAZING with our border collie Monty! He was so happy and settled with them for the 10 days whilst we were away! This is the first time that we were unable to leave Monty with a family member due to everyone attending a wedding abroad in America, so we were nervous to do so. But the process of getting to know Greta and her family in the lead up to leaving Monty was such a pleasure! They took careful time to learn so much about Monty, he was so loved whilst with them, we were supplied with daily updates, photos and videos which meant we were constantly informed of Monty's adventures. The family matched his energy perfectly - it was almost as if he didn't want to leave and that is a testament to the families care and kindness! I could not recommend Greta enough and would certainly leave Monty with Greta again - THANK YOU!”

“I cannot thank Charlotte enough for how well her and the kids took care of my dog Tink! Charlotte was so friendly and relaxed as soon as we arrived, which really helped me feel calmer as I was quite anxious about leaving Tink overnight in an unfamiliar environment. I got photo updates to show she’d settled in and was getting lots of love and lap time, which reassured me that she was ok and equally wasn’t causing Charlotte and family too much stress! Charlotte clearly listened to and replicated our usual routines as much as possible and I really felt she was willing to do whatever was best for Tink given that she was in a new place with new people. Overall I have absolutely nothing negative to say about the experience and would highly recommend Charlotte. I will absolutely be requesting her services again in future, especially now I know Tink seems so happy and comfortable there! Thank you again, Tink loves making new friends so I’m sure she’s very grateful too!”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely couldn't fault this stay — 5 stars without hesitation! Buddy spent 4–5 days here and I was put completely at ease from the moment I dropped him off. PRTs can be lively little characters and Buddy is no exception, but he was so well looked after and clearly loved every minute of it. I received updates throughout the stay which meant I could actually relax whilst away rather than worry. Buddy came home happy, well-exercised, and settled — which tells you everything you need to know. Thank you!”

“It's the first time I have used rover, we met Niamh first with our two pooches, and they got on so well, so dropping them off and leaving them with her was an ease. She kept us updated, pictures aswell, dogs were relaxed when I picked them, I will be using her again.”

“Dee clearly loves dogs and she was very good with ours. He was excited to see her and Sid again after our meet and greet. Dee took measures to keep him safe in the hot weather. Nothing was too much trouble and I would thoroughly recommend her- I will certainly be booking her again.”

“Dorie provided an excellent service from the moment I messaged for availability. She connected with Sid from the moment she came to introduce herself. It was great to see how happy Sid was via the pictures and videos Dorie sent to me as part of her visits. Sid looked really happy and had the great bonus of two young people to play with him on the evening visit. Knowing Sid was well cared for made my day go a lot more smoothly. Thank you!”

“I can’t praise Hannah enough! I’ve been using her for a few years now and wouldn’t trust anyone else with my cat. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a sitter who truly loves animals!”

About: - I have three cats, all of which I have cared for since they were kittens. - I have over five years of cat-raising experience. - During this time, I have helped my cats through giving birth, cared for cats with feline panleukopenia, and have experience administering medication. I am a full-time housewife. Other than taking my child to school and handling daily household chores, I am available to take care of your mother and spend time keeping her company. About: I have had dogs in my life since I can remember, our dog’s over the years; a westie, a sharpei, a yorki-poo, a Rottweiler cross sharpei, and a spaniel. I also owned a staffie and xl bully with my ex partner. I now live on my own with a significant amount of land with my son, and looking for doggy loves without the commitment of having my own!🐶🩷 I’m currently not working so very flexible, I will be working part time from September when my son starts nursery, but my son is very used to pets (dogs, cats, rabbits). I live on family land, completely secure as my nan owns a very old spaniel (not in my property), with a big safe inescapable field for lots of running.
“Charlotte was very friendly and gave us a lot of reassurance in caring for Loki. Second time booking with her and highly recommend. We picked up a fulfilled pup, thank you!”

About: I grew up surounded by all kind of pets and farm animals. Since I can remember, various creatures were kept at my childhood home (from small to huge!) like fish, parrots, cats and dogs. I currently keep a hamster called Chungus, cat - Gilbert, turtle - Raisin, fish and our beloved Cockapoo Luna. I bathe, groom and train Luna myself and she is the best, most friendly girl ever! I work from home, so your dog can expect a morning and afternoon walk + access to the fenced garden at all times. I will be there all the time to make sure all of their needs are taken care off. I have a fenced garden and will watch your dog whenever they are outside. Also, my dog Luna is super friendly and will gladly keep your dog company inside and outside of the house.
“Alice is absolutely fantastic! She took great care of Kiba while I was working away, giving him plenty of love, attention, and exercise. She kept me updated with regular photos and messages, which gave me so much peace of mind. Kiba came back happy, tired and well cared for (which is not a small feat to tire a Belgian Malinois!!!) — I simply couldn’t ask for more. Highly recommend Alice to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter!”

About: Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my family fostered dogs for the RSPCA, and I was closely involved in their care and early training. Alongside this, I rescued my cat as a tiny kitten from a farm, who is now a much-loved seven-year-old. Today, I continue that passion with my own puppy, focusing on positive, consistent training and attentive care. I currently work full-time with a varied shift pattern, my availability for dog walking and pet sitting is flexible and updated regularly to ensure clear and dependable scheduling. My home offers a fully secure garden with plenty of space for safe play and exercise, alongside my friendly nine-month-old puppy, who can be a lovely, supervised playmate for your pet.
“Briana has been, as always amazing. I literally dropped Daisy this morning and rushed off to work giving Briana quick messages. Later on in the morning I got a text to say she had remembered that Daisy loves carrot and she had got some for her, really made me smile as that was not something I had shared in my messages. Thank you Briana for remembering and making the effort to make my little Daisy happy. Bless you for having her at such short notice…she will be back!!”

“I contacted Deepti via Rover for some last minute daycare for my 2 small dogs and the entire process could not have gone smoother. Deepti was warm, friendly, professional and knowledgeable, took amazing care of my little 13 year old puppies who came back happy as anything. About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over six years and currently share my home with a lovely Border Collie who loves making new friends. I understand what active dogs need — plenty of walks, playtime, and patience! I don’t take cats, so it’s a relaxed, dog-only environment where your pup can feel right at home. Since I’m home most of the time, walks and care easily fit into my daily routine. I take the dogs out three times a day — morning, midday, and evening — and make sure they get enough exercise and fresh air. I’m flexible with timings for drop-offs and pick-ups too. Dogs staying here follow the same house rules as my own pup — plenty of structure, no rough play indoors, and lots of outdoor fun. Walks are always on a secure lead, and dogs are never left unsupervised. My home is calm, tidy, and dog-friendly, so your pet can relax, play, and feel completely at ease while you’re away.

About: I am a final-year BSc (Hons) Animal Behaviour & Welfare student, with my degree expected in the next few months. Through my studies, I have developed a strong understanding of animal behaviour, welfare, handling, enrichment, and the importance of building trust with animals at their own pace. I am confident caring for pets with different personalities, routines, and needs, and I always aim to provide calm, reliable, and compassionate care. I understand how important it is for owners to feel reassured while they are away, so I will follow your instructions carefully, and provide updates. I am currently a student finishing my last exam so pretty flexible. I can adjust to timings if needed by owners, usually if it's a walk at night I would prefer a bigger dog. About: I've had experience caring for dogs since I was 10 as I was gifted one. I often took care of her and went on walks with her. I have a calming effect on dogs and I instantly bond with a variety of dog types too. I have grew up with other pets too, such as cats, fish and rabbits. Also, I'm 26 years old and very active as I walk everyday. My long time bond with dogs in particular, and animals will help me to be set apart from other dog walkers. I'm hoping to get more experience with dogs as I love them a lot, and I believe I could be a good dog walker, but also extending to other animals such as cats. I'm currently available for most days throughout this month given I have enough notice. I love dogs and currently have a lot of free time, so it pairs well. In the pet owner's home, I'd ask to go over how they would like me to look after their dogs, and if there is anything I should be aware of before taking care of them.
“Alessio was able to meet all of Freya's needs for me, was flexible on times and most importantly of all Freya seems to have loved spending time with him. Thanks again Alessio!”

About: I’m an experienced dog owner and carer, and my own German Shepherd Dog is a certified Pets As Therapy dog, which reflects a calm, responsible, and reliable approach to animal care. I’m comfortable following detailed instructions, maintaining routines, and communicating clearly with owners. Additionally, I also have many years of experience caring for and managing multiple rental and holiday properties, including overseeing maintenance, security, and day-to-day responsibilities. House sitting suits my lifestyle well. I work largely from home as a children’s author, which means I’m present throughout the day and able to give pets consistent attention. I enjoy quiet, settled environments, long walks, and spending time in nature, which makes caring for dogs especially rewarding. NOTE: With stays longer than three nights, I will need to bring my well-behaved German Shepherd. He gets on with other dogs, but if your dog does not, then I am not the right fit for stays longer than three days. I care for pets in a calm, secure, and familiar way, always following the owner’s instructions and the pet’s usual routine. Whether in my home or a pet owner’s home, I focus on creating a relaxed environment where pets feel safe, settled, and well cared for. Safety is always a priority. I’m careful with doors, gates, leads, and outdoor access, and I only introduce dogs to new environments or other animals gradually and sensibly. Walks, play, feeding, and rest are tailored to each pet’s needs, age, and energy level. I take trust very seriously. I’m DBS checked through my work with schools, and I can also supply a letter-headed solicitor’s reference from the Principal of a law firm who has known me professionally since 2009. I treat every home and pet with respect, confidentiality, and care, and aim to give owners complete peace of mind.
About: I’ve always felt most at home around animals, their unconditional love and trust make them the best companions. My earliest memories are of horses in my family’s stables in South Africa and volunteering at a local rescue centre in Birmingham. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with a wide range of animals, from big cats and zebras at a wildlife rehabilitation centre in South Africa to countless rescue pets, each with their own personality. There’s nothing quite like the moment an animal begins to trust you—it’s incredibly special. My beloved husky, Meeka (who appears in some of my photos), passed away recently, and I would be so grateful for the chance to spend time with your furry friends. I have just graduated from central saint martins and am excited to start a new role in september, so i have a lot of free time on my hands. i take pride in understanding the body language of any animal, after years of being in their company, communication becomes second nature as all living things I’ve found communicate in similar ways. I pride myself in the ability of clear communication and hence an apt accommodation of their needs.

“Sammie is very friendly and definitely comfortable around dogs. She has a good approach with both of my dogs, one of whom is quite nervous/shy, and the other is quite lively and sometimes noisy, but Sammie is able to interact with each dog, as appropriate.”
“Having never had to use a sitter before I was a little nervous of the whole process. There was no need to worry. Andy was absolutely fantastic, I cannot praise him enough. He was professional throughout, punctual, attentive, absolutely wonderful with our dog who suffered quite badly with separation anxiety. We had daily updates and photos which were appreciated . Andy, I can’t thank you enough for the care and attention that you showed our dog which at times must have been challenging. Honestly thank you so much. I would be happy to recommend Andy to anyone.”

“Absolutely amazing service from Jennifer. From the first meeting I felt confident Olly would love his walks and that Jennifer clearly loved dogs. The updates, photos and comments were so lovely to read and it was great to see Olly having fun! Will definitely request Jennifer again!”

I’m at home full-time and pretty flexible most days. If you let me know your schedule / routine and I can usually work around it! I don’t have any pets at home, so I can easily focus on your pet’s routine and do my best to meet all their care needs.

“We feel very lucky to have found Bruce (Tin On Y.) who we booked to walk our dog whilst we were away for a few days. He was absolutely wonderful with our dog, Wave - gentle, calm, patient and clearly very experienced. He also showed such kindness and thoughtfulness towards my parents, who were looking after the dogs at the time, which meant the world to us. It’s rare to meet someone who brings such genuine comfort and trust. We couldn’t recommend Bruce highly enough and will be booking him again without hesitation!”

“Georgina is absolutely amazing with our rescue dog Athena. Not only is she super patient and kind but also keeps us reassured every step of the way. I could not recommend Georgina enough - she feels more like a friend than just a dog sitter and it’s evident to anybody how much she loves and cares about the dogs she looks after ❤️”

About: What sets me apart is the level of care, attention, and reassurance I provide to both pets and their owners. I understand that every dog is unique, so I take the time to get to know their personality, routine, and individual needs to make sure they feel happy, safe, and comfortable in my care. Whether it’s dog walking, day care, or overnight stays, I treat every dog as if they were my own. I provide plenty of exercise, playtime, enrichment, and cuddles, while keeping owners updated with regular photos and messages so they can relax knowing their pet is in good hands. I’m confident caring for dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies who need patience and consistency to older dogs who may require a gentler pace, medication, or extra attention. I’m happy to follow training routines, reinforce good behaviours, and stick closely to your dog’s normal schedule to help them feel settled. Above all, I’m reliable, trustworthy, and genuinely passionate about animals. My goal is to provide a loving home-from-home experience where every dog feels cared for, and every owner has complete peace of mind. I have my own 2 and half year old working cocker spaniel, Margot who is adorable and great with other dogs. Working with the working breed has taught me a lot about being a dog owner and grown my experience alongside attending gunned training to support her breed. I work full time as a teacher however free most evenings and weekends to support the needs of you and your pet. I get provided school holidays that I can support looking after your pet, stress free! For walks, I make sure dogs get plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. We enjoy walks in secure open fields, parks, and other dog-friendly areas, choosing locations that best suit each dog’s age, energy level, and recall ability. Safety is always my priority, and I only let dogs off lead with the owner’s permission and when it’s safe to do so. When caring for pets in their own home, I respect their familiar routine and environment, ensuring they receive lots of attention, playtime and enrichment , affection, and companionship while you’re away. I also keep owners updated with regular photos and messages, so you can enjoy peace of mind knowing your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for.

“We booked Kat for a week in May but haven’t really left our dog before with somebody we didn’t know so thought we’d see how he got on for a weekend. Everything was great, Arlo looked really happy and part of the family, I had regular updates which were lovely to see, would definitely recommend.”

“It's the first time I have used rover, we met Niamh first with our two pooches, and they got on so well, so dropping them off and leaving them with her was an ease. She kept us updated, pictures aswell, dogs were relaxed when I picked them, I will be using her again.”

“Sue, you are absolutely fantastic! We couldn’t ask for a better person to care for Koda, our Siberian Husky. You take such amazing care of him and treat him like one of your own. We especially love all the photos and updates you send — it gives us so much peace of mind and lets us see how happy and comfortable he is while we’re away. Koda always comes home relaxed and well cared for, which says everything about the love and attention you give him. We’re so grateful to have found you! Highly, highly recommend! 🐾💙”

About: I’ve loved dogs since I was a child myself and had a dog as a kid. Since then my own parents have had other dogs which I’ve obviously loved and cared for as and when, whilst unable to have a dog of my own. Circumstances - ie work - mean I can’t commit to having my own dog full time, to my son’s dismay, but we have so much love and affection for dogs that Rover is a perfect fit for us. I’ve only ticked availability for when my son and I can live our best life and share that time with your beautiful dog. We are always out and about exploring Lichfield and living life to the fullest…and spending time with a pooch pal would complete that way of life! Full disclosure we live in a flat but is as pet friendly as flats can be. We literally live opposite Stowe Pool playing fields and like I say to my 9-year-old, we have one of the biggest gardens in Lichfield. We would love a dog to walk, to stay with us and maybe even play cricket with us!
About: I’ve been looking after dogs since I was 5, supporting Guide Dogs with my Grandmother. I currently have two Labradors of my own, Bumble and Martha. I have experience in training dogs of all ages and supporting with behavioural issues through my Flyball team. I have already looked after dogs of all ages, including walking, training and engagement. I’m a really active person and love being out and about! I’m currently working part-time, flexibly so I have lots of time to play with your pups! I can work around schedules to ensure I am flexible if needed. I always ensure I do the best for the dogs I look after (including my own!) I never leave dogs for longer than 4 hours, and ensure dogs get the relevant amount of exercise and enrichment daily.
“Dexter our GSP has just come from spending a week with Kieran and Mike, I am always nervous leaving Dexter at first as although he is no problem at home and with family I always worry when he’s in someone else’s home. Shouldn’t have worried he got on famously and as far as I’m aware he didn’t disgrace himself 😀. From the off us humans and Dexter was made to feel welcome which put me at ease straight away. We had regular photos, videos and updates which were very much appreciated and it was great to see that Dexter got on with Kieran and Mikes own dogs too, he enjoys being outside and off the lead and this was also facilitated which again was appreciated. Fabulous experience, thank you”

“What can I say..this was our 1st time using rover. An what a fabulous experience from start to finish with Georgina. Incredibly welcoming lady, easy to talk to and understanding. Could see from the off how much she loves dogs,we (myself&Bear my dog) were greeted with a big smile..and Georgina got down to Bears size for cuddles. Fully interactive straight away. I had so many photos&written updates of days out&park visits. Plus cuddles with her little girl&Bear. Her daughter was adorable with Bear, and Georgina was very reassuring about all aspects of care for Bear around her daughter.(an for her daughter), whom my Bear followed everywhere&played together all the time. I absolutely wouldnt hesitate for Georgina to look after Bear again. I was put at complete ease about Bears care..an he settled in so well. Many thanks Georgina&family”

“Mollie had the loveliest time with Gail and with her lovely dog, Ted. If she could talk, she would definitely say thank you for a warm welcome, some lovely care and a great time. Many thanks from me too. Claire x”
