“Jiahui was fantastic! Riley is a difficult dog, but she managed to become his friend very quickly. He had a great time with her. I got lots of updates, pictures, so I had a very good time as well, knowing that Riley is in such good hands. Thank you very much, Jiahui and Rover Looking forward to our next meeting!”

“Craig was fantastic throughout his stay at our house with our two dogs Bodie and Wanda. We were concerned about Wanda being away from home, having only been with us for a month so we wanted her to stay at the house with a sitter. She took to Craig really well and we felt reassured that she was with someone kind and loved dogs as much as we do. Craig's experience with dogs means he is patient, understanding and loves being around them. He knows how to handle a big dog which is important to us, as Bodie can be overpowering on the lead. He communicated with us regularly and we came home to find two very happy dogs, walked and the house in the same way we had left it. We definitely will be calling on Craig again!”

“Tia was an amazing pet sitter for our cat, Gigi, and our dog, Buster! She took the time to meet with us a week beforehand to go over their schedules and learn about their needs, which really showed her attention to detail and dedication. She arrived on time, walked Buster multiple times, and sent us regular photo updates, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. Not only did she take wonderful care of our pets, but she also went above and beyond—taking out the bins, keeping the house tidy, and being incredibly respectful of our home. Tia is kind, reliable, and truly cares about the animals she looks after. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will absolutely be booking her again in the future! Highly recommend! Highly recommend Tia and she will our first choice to book again!”

About: I have loved dogs for as long as I can remember and have always enjoyed caring for and building bonds with them. Growing up, I regularly looked after my family’s dogs, including a Sheltie, a long-haired Poodle and a Cockapoo, giving me experience with different breeds, personalities and sizes. For over 5 years, I have also volunteered with a local Husky rescue, where I have gained hands-on experience caring for rescue dogs and helping them feel safe and comfortable. I have fostered rescue dogs and have even adopted one myself, so I understand how important patience, routine and reassurance can be, particularly for dogs who may be nervous or anxious. I have also helped with basic training, teaching rescue dogs commands such as sit and lie down, as well as helping them learn and respond to new names. I am confident working with dogs who need a little extra patience and reassurance and really enjoy getting to know each dog as an individual. Most importantly, I genuinely love spending time with dogs! Whether they are tiny, giant, energetic, nervous or just looking for a cuddle, I am happy to give them the attention, affection and care they deserve. 🐾❤️ I work as a teacher, so during term time I am generally out of the house from around 7am until 4pm on school days. However, I have much more availability at weekends and during school holidays, when I can dedicate plenty of time to caring for your dog. When I am looking after a pet, I make sure they are not left alone for long periods. Throughout the day, I am never usually away for more than around 4 hours at a time, and I can provide plenty of attention, walks, playtime and cuddles around my schedule. I am happy to discuss your dog’s individual routine and needs to make sure they feel comfortable and settled. Your dog’s safety and happiness are my priority. I understand that every dog is different, so I take the time to get to know their individual personality, routine and needs. I am especially comfortable with anxious or nervous dogs and know how important patience, reassurance and a calm environment can be. I am happy to follow your usual feeding, walking and care routines and can provide plenty of attention, playtime and cuddles. I will treat your home and your pet with the same care and respect I would want for my own, keeping you updated while you are away so you can have peace of mind.
“Sophie and her partner Luca looked after our 9 year old Jack Russell cross over a weekend. They were kind enough to send us lots of photos whilst we were away and also very accommodating when we got back late due to traffic. Highly recommended.”

About: I have many years of experience caring for pets, both my own and those of family and friends. I have owned cats and dogs in the past, giving me valuable hands-on experience with pets of different ages, temperaments, breeds, and care requirements. Through owning and caring for animals, I have gained experience with feeding routines, administering medication and basic care, daily exercise, grooming, playtime, and providing companionship. I understand how important it is to maintain a pet’s routine and ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy while their owners are away. As an animal lover, I enjoy spending time with pets and getting to know their individual personalities. I am reliable, patient, and attentive to their needs, whether that means taking energetic dogs on long walks, providing mental stimulation and playtime, or offering calm and gentle care for cats and older pets. My flexible work-from-home schedule allows me to dedicate plenty of time, attention, and supervision to the pets in my care, ensuring they receive the love, exercise, and companionship they deserve throughout their stay. I work from home, which allows me to provide pets with plenty of attention and care throughout the day. I have the flexibility to take dogs on regular walks and ensure cats are well looked after. As I drive, I can easily travel to check on pets multiple times a day, making sure they are comfortable, fed, exercised, and receiving the care they need. I am an experienced and caring pet lover who can provide a safe, comfortable, and loving environment for your pets while you are away. I have a secure home with a garden where dogs can enjoy supervised outdoor time, play, and exercise. I am happy to care for both large and small dogs, as well as cats, and I can accommodate multiple pets at the same time, provided they are comfortable around other animals. I understand that every pet has its own personality, routine, and needs, and I take the time to ensure they feel relaxed and well cared for. I am confident administering medications when required and can follow specific feeding schedules, exercise routines, and care instructions. Whether your pet needs extra attention, regular walks, playtime, or a quiet place to rest, I will make sure they receive the care and companionship they deserve. My priority is to provide a loving home-from-home experience where pets feel safe, happy, and well looked after throughout their stay.
“Andrea took great care of my cats while I was away. She was attentive, reliable, and kept me regularly updated, which gave me great peace of mind. I really appreciated her help and would happily recommend her to others!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since j was around 12 years old. I’ve looked after from the size of a bichon fries to a German Shepard. So have had my fair share of different sized animals I don’t work as I’m a full time mum so u can expect me to be with ur dogs 24/7. They’re allowed to be on my bed with me. They can come in my car. They can come park and have a massive field to run around in I have a fenced flat garden that the dogs can run around in to go toilet. Or even just to play. I have a huge field near mine where dogs can run and play with balls etc
About: I’ve grown up with family dogs and have always loved the companionship, joy and comfort they bring. We now have our own six year old Cockapoo, Albi, who is a much loved member of our family and has brought so much happiness to our lives. Albi has taught us that every dog is unique, with their own personality, routine and preferences. We understand that leaving your dog with someone else can feel daunting, so we take the time to help every dog feel safe, comfortable and settled. We provide plenty of affection, playtime, enrichment and walks, while also respecting their need for rest, quiet time and personal space. Your dog will be welcomed into our home and treated as part of the family. We’re happy to follow their usual routine, including feeding times, exercise needs and any special requirements. Whether your dog is energetic, nervous, playful or prefers a peaceful afternoon, we offer a calm, patient and caring environment where they can feel relaxed and well looked after. Our genuine love for dogs, combined with our understanding that every dog is different, means you can feel confident knowing your pet will receive plenty of attention, kindness and individual care while they’re with us. I work remotely from home throughout the week, therefore I am flexible with regards to boarding, dog sitting and dog walking. I understand that the needs of every dog breed is different and will work alongside yourself to ensure the best care is provided. We are a family of 4 (includes 1 older child & our Cockapoo Albi) and we live in a ground floor maisonette. We have a very secure fenced back garden that is accessible at all times for your dog. We are a non-smoking family and allow your dog on sofas & beds.

About: I grew up with all kinds of pets; dogs, cats and small animals, and I adore them all. My first pet (that I was completely responsible for) I had when I was eight years old. I have experience with animals of all different ages, training my own dog (a rescue) at the age of ten and interacting with many other animals with different personalities and abilities! I don't believe anything is too excessive when it comes to pets, and always do my best to do my best to keep them happy, making necessary adjustments for animals who may need extra supervision or help. I am available most days to look after your animals! I do not work, but need time to commute and preferably plan routes for walks so I can offer your pet the most enrichment possible! I will ask all kinds of questions about your animal before I agree to take care of them, to make sure I am a good fit for your animal and can provide them with everything they need (and more!) while they're in my care.

“Hollie has been absolutely exceptional in caring for our dog, Bear, who is an older dog and not quick to warm to new people. From the outset, Hollie showed genuine patience, kindness, and understanding, taking the time to build trust at Bear’s pace. Bear is currently on medication for arthritis, and Hollie managed this impeccably throughout the week, ensuring her routine was followed carefully. She adapted wonderfully to Bear’s needs, providing plenty of reassurance, gentle walks, and lots of affection, which made a huge difference to Bear’s comfort and confidence. Hollie stayed in our home for the week, and we returned to find it extremely well cared for—clean, tidy, and clearly respected. We were also kept regularly updated with photos and videos, which gave us complete peace of mind and allowed us to see the lovely bond developing between them as the week went on. We would not hesitate to recommend Hollie and will absolutely be booking her every time we need care for Bear in the future.”

About: I recently lost my lovely Labrador and really miss having a little four-legged friend around the house. I’ve always been an animal lover and genuinely enjoy giving them plenty of attention, getting out for walks and having some company during the day. I work from home, which means I’m around for most of the day and can be really flexible around your dog’s usual routine. Whether they need regular walks, toilet breaks, lots of play and attention, or simply someone to curl up next to while I work, I’m happy to fit around what they’re used to. I’ll treat them like one of my own and, of course, send you plenty of little updates and photos while they’re with me 🐶❤️ I work from home, so I’m around throughout the day and have lots of flexibility when it comes to looking after your dog. I can fit walks, toilet breaks, feeding and playtime around their normal routine, and they’ll have plenty of company and attention while they’re with me. I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone else, so I’ll always care for them as I would my own. “Divya is absolutely amazing as a dog sitter. She spent one day in my house looking after Milo. She kept me updated with pictures and messages and I could tell Milo had a fantastic time with her. She also got him some treats! I highly recommend Divya to anyone looking for a responsible and loving dog sitter.”

As always Allanagh gave us complete peace of mind whilst we were on holiday. It’s the longest we have left our beloved Chi & he was looked after as we would look after him ourselves. Regular updates & photos helped ease any anxieties I had. Allanagh is a star sitter & our Chi adores her ! 💫

Tia took such wonderful care of our home and our cat, the updates and photos of Win having a lovely time made it so much easier for us to enjoy our holiday! I would 100% recommend Tia, and will be booking her in the future if she is willing to watch our high maintenance diva again! 🥰

Jade was fantastic from start to finish. She was warm, friendly and clearly passionate about dogs, which made us feel completely at ease leaving Lexi in her care. We received regular updates throughout the day with photos, and every one of Lexi's care instructions was followed perfectly. It was also lovely to see how quickly Jade built a bond with Lexi, who was clearly happy and comfortable with her. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Jade to anyone looking for a reliable, caring and professional pet sitter. Thank you again for taking such great care of Lexi!

I was really nervous about finding someone to look after my 4 month old puppy for the day, Ann was so lovely and I really appreciated the meet and greet beforehand. My little pup was looked after so well and the photos and updates throughout the day made me feel at ease. I'm so pleased I found Ann, I immediately rebooked her again. Highly recommend.

Thank you so much! I couldn't have asked for more from a dog sitter for Bear! From our initial introduction you were so friendly and I instantly felt at ease. You have so much knowledge after working with animals for so long and I can tell this is your passion! Bear absolutely loved his stay with you, and he was kept well entertained throughout the day. I really appreciated you updating me throughout the day, especially the photos and videos. Already planning our next stay with you for Bear and I know he will have lots more with you. I can't thank you enough for everything!

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Post & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Rubbish & recycling: Taking bins out on scheduled rubbish collection days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best time to agree on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a 'home cheat sheet' that includes your preferred Bedworth walking routes, the location of your favourite pet shop, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Bedworth choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
