“Jiahui was fantastic with Bernie. Bernie can be anxious with new people, but Jiahui made her feel comfortable with strokes, treats and even bringing her own toys for Bernie to play with. Communication was great and she provided lots of photos and videos of Bernie. I couldn't recommend Jiahui more and I will definitely be booking with her again in the future :)”

“Cassie was lovely, she looked after both Barney and Lola really well doing drop ins, they warmed to her immediately in the meet and greet and Cassie put my mind at ease by giving updates and pictures. I will definitely use Cassie to look after the dogs again 😊”

“Highly recommended! Keira did daily morning visits for my 2 sphynx cats. I'd been very anxious about organising care, as they are my pride and joy, and I've never had someone outside of friends or family care for them. I felt at ease as soon as Keira came for a meet and greet, she clearly loves animals and has plenty of experience caring for a variety of little lives! And my 2 took to her straight away, which says a lot! She did a brilliant job of updating me daily with how they were getting on, including photos etc. I would absolutely use Keira's services again in the future. Thank you!”

“Kathleen is amazing! She took great care of my cat, kept me updated with photos and messages, and made sure everything was clean and comfortable. My cat was happy and relaxed when I returned. She is reliable, caring, and clearly loves animals. I would definitely book her again.”

On those days, and outside of my primary study blocks, I can reliably commit 1 to 2 hours per day to spend with your pets, which can include walks, playtime, feeding, and focused attention. I provide dedicated pet care exclusively in the owner's home, where the pet feels safest and most comfortable. My commitment is to ensure a secure, trustworthy, and stimulating environment. I dedicate my time to being fully present, playing with the pet, and guaranteeing they receive the necessary exercise, including walks appropriate for their needs. About: I have taken care of several different animals including dogs over the years. (Dogs being my favourite by far!) I am aware of the important responsibilities needed when taking care of animals. I owned a beautiful Pomeranian for 3 years who was my bestfriend before we had to unfortunately give him away. During that time, I helped train him and was his main carer in my family. I also worked with a dog walking company for a period of time where we would take up to 5 dogs per person on long walks through the country side and then take them back and allow time for socialisation and also washing them. I am not currently working at the moment so I have all the time in the world for your pets care and will be fully dedicated! This means many walks a day and plenty of attention! I will make sure to follow all house rules I am told by the owner, as I know how nerve wracking it can be having someone you just met in your home and I 100% respect that.
“Shernai was great for Freddie. It was our first time using this app, so concerns and overprotective thoughts regarding Freddie were always on our mind. However Shernai dealt with all of them in the nicest way possible, making sure to send us updates regarding Freddie and his wellbeing, he loved her! She gave him the nicest cuddles. It was a spot on choice to select Shernai to take care of him, will definitely contact her in the future !”

About: As a graduate medical student and qualified Dietitian, I bring a highly professional and responsible approach to pet care. I have grown up with dogs and have been dog sitting from a young age, giving me years of hands-on experience. As a result, I am confident handling all breeds and life stages—from energetic puppies to large breeds like Alsatians and Rottweilers. My background as a veterinary volunteer also means I am completely comfortable administering pills, liquids, and injections for pets with medical needs. As a graduate medical student, my schedule is very flexible, and with my partner frequently working from home, one of us is almost always here for playtime and potty breaks. This ensures your dog has constant company and routine. For your complete peace of mind, I am fully DBS checked. We live in a house with a fully secured, fenced garden that is perfect for safe exploration. Your dog will also have a buddy! We have a gentle, well-socialised Cockapoo named Dumpling who loves guests—fantastic for dogs who enjoy a companion. On walks, safety is my top priority; I will keep your dog on-lead unless you have given explicit written permission otherwise. We always manage introductions calmly and I encourage a "Meet & Greet" to discuss any triggers and ensure a perfect fit.

About: I have been caring for dogs since I was a child, as my family has always had dogs at home. My most meaningful experience is with my Yorkshire Terrier, whom I have raised since she was born. She is now 18 years old, so I have extensive experience caring for senior dogs with patience and attention to their needs. I am responsible for preparing her meals daily, taking her on walks, and spending quality time playing with her. In addition, I have cared for a medium-sized mixed-breed dog that we rescued after an accident. I have been looking after him for over 7 years, including supporting his recovery and ongoing care. These experiences have made me a responsible, attentive, and compassionate pet sitter who truly understands different needs—from young dogs to senior pets. I am a master’s student in Coventry, so I have a flexible schedule. During term breaks, I am available most of the day and throughout the week. In term time, my availability depends on my class schedule, but I can still be flexible and plan pet care around my studies. I can care for pets in their home by spending time with them, feeding them, and playing to keep them happy and comfortable. I usually stay with my own dog at home, so I’m used to being around pets and making sure they feel safe and relaxed.

We also offer dedicated weekend boarding ,including Mondays, ideal for anyone heading away for a weekend break or working away at the start of the week. We also offer Tuesday day care, perfect for extending a trip or easing back into the work week. We have our own labradoodle Frank who is big and friendly. He gets on well with all dogs but any dogs we bring into our home will also need to be comfortable around other dogs. Dogs staying with us enjoy a warm, cosy, and loving family environment, where they’re treated like one of our own. Many of the dogs who come here regularly have been staying with us for years, becoming true members of our extended furry family. I currently work part-time on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, which means I have plenty of time for walks, play, and boarding on other days. I’m also available on Friday evenings, weekends, and into Monday, so your dog will always get lots of attention, company, and outdoor time during their stay. Inside, we’ve got baby gates, crates, and a calm setup to make sure everyone has their own space. If your dog is comfortable with it, we’d love nothing more than to have them up on the sofa for a cuddle in the evenings. Our 1½-year-old son adores animals and is learning to be gentle and respectful — he gives Frank lots of cuddles, and we always make sure visiting dogs aren’t overwhelmed. We have a secure fenced garden and use baby gates indoors to keep everything safe and well-managed. Dogs are welcome on the sofa downstairs, and I can crate them at night if that’s what they’re used to. We’re happy to host multiple dogs as long as they’re friendly and comfortable around others. Any dog staying here does need to be comfortable around children and not aggressive. Above all, we aim to provide a calm, homely setting where your dog can settle in, have fun, and feel part of the family from the moment they arrive. Jiahui was fantastic with Bernie. Bernie can be anxious with new people, but Jiahui made her feel comfortable with strokes, treats and even bringing her own toys for Bernie to play with. Communication was great and she provided lots of photos and videos of Bernie. I couldn't recommend Jiahui more and I will definitely be booking with her again in the future :)

Sofiia was more than ever expected and gave total peace of mind. Leaving my Cat at home not long after his emergency operation, he couldn't have been in better hands. His medication requirements were no problem and her updates including the pictures let us enjoy a little break. Thank you so much ♥️

Dorothy did a great job of looking after my cat over a long weekend. I was sent regular messages and photos during each visit so I knew he was being cared for. Will definitely ask Dorothy to come again. All instructions were followed and she spent time playing and fussing him

Terrific care provided by Cassie for two shy & retiring elderly cats on complicated diets and four different watering holes who also needed medication. Nearly didn't go away because it's hard to imagine somebody else doing the job you do! Feedback and photos from each visit turned out to be really welcome & reassuring in the end, though I didn't think it important at the time of booking, as I've never had this before. Cassie worked hard on getting one of them in particular to thaw (hunt the cat was order of play at the start), in the end she was rolling on her back, allowing affection, showing how happy & relaxed she was with Cassie. A big thank you from us all. I would ask her again in future when away.

Thank you so much for looking after my two cats so wonderfully. I could see from the videos how much they enjoyed spending time with you. I really appreciate how reliable you are and loved receiving all the photos while I was away. Everything was tidy and spotless when I returned — I couldn’t have asked for better care! 😺😻

I needed someone to take my dog for his night walk while I was at a Christmas party in London on Friday night, Keira handled my powerful 10 months old Doberman really well, while I use raw power to control my dobermann she has good experience with dogs and used some training techniques to handle him and also followed my instructions. Overall I'm satisfied with the booking.

I had a great experience booking drop-in cat sitting with Fabián! He is reliable, had great communication throughout the entire booking, and made sure my cat was well taken care of while I was away. He sent regular photo and video updates, which gave me peace of mind and let me see how happy and relaxed my cat was. It’s clear he genuinely cares about animals. Will definitely book with him again!

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Coventry choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
