“I honestly can’t sing enough praises about Daniel! He was SO good with my dog Milo. It was clear from the start that he and his partner genuinely love dogs and know how to make them feel comfortable and happy. Daniel was very accommodating to all my requests and kept me updated the entire time I was away with loads of pictures and videos, which I really appreciated and found so reassuring as I was away for 3 weeks and was anxious about being away from Milo for so long! Milo absolutely LOVED his time with Daniel and all the dogs he had keeping him company, he even made a few besties! When Daniel dropped him off, Milo actually started whining and would not stop looking in the direction Dan left, which says it all really 😅 What really stood out to me was the care and thoughtfulness as Daniel went the extra mile by washing all of Milo’s toys and blankets before returning him. Such a lovely touch and something I didn’t expect at all. I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to use him again for all my boarding needs. Milo can’t wait for his next stay! About: I’ve always had pets from a very young age and now being an adult I’ve had two cats and a new puppy that I’ve trained from 8 weeks old. I’m new to pet sitting but I’m very capable and knowledgeable with dogs and cats from all ages. I work part time on a fairly flexible schedule and would be available Friday to Sunday most weeks. I am an early bird and would happily be able to take care of pets in the early mornings to help out with busy morning routines. I have a large garden secured with 6 foot walls, with a spacious lawn. Lots of room inside if any pets need some space to themselves and a young Whippet girl to play with.
About: I used to have my own dog which unfortunately passed away due to old age. I started dog sitting for a friend then ive made contacts whilst out dog walking. Everyone is happy especially the dogs I absolutely love it I look after a 94 year old dog lover and will take the dog/s with me. The dog will be out and about with me all day long I have a secure fenced garden with a gate that my neighbours open when they are home as they love dogs as much as I do and the dog/s can roam freely between the gardens. We both had dogs before which passed away due to old age. Circumstances hasn't allowed me to have another dog, which now i dont mind as i have the best of both worlds.

“Georgia looked after Cali overnight and I honestly couldn’t have felt more comfortable leaving her. I’m very fussy about who I trust with Cali as she’s my baby, and I only want the best for her. We arranged a meet and greet a couple of days beforehand, and Georgia even took the time to show me around her home (which she didn’t have to do), just to help me feel at ease and show me where Cali would be sleeping. While Cali was with her, Georgia sent plenty of photos and updates, which really reassured me. Cali came home happy and settled,which says everything. I’ll definitely be using Georgia again. About: I had a fox red Labrador for 11 years, he was a huge part of our family. He was diagnosed with epilepsy at 10 months on and I administered his medication twice a day and remained calm when he had a fit. Unfortunately he has spent the last few months with my ex-husband and now resides with him (against my wishes) however I see him regularly and take him on walks but my home feels empty without him so i decided to fill this void and offer a loving smoke free environment to other fur babies who need someone in the daytime or board to help his/her parents out from time to time. I work Tuesday to Friday from home and Monday is my day off so I’m available all day to support any needs. I am up by 7am to receive any daycare fur babies I have a fenced off garden and there are some lovely local walks with lots of places for exploring. My home is open plan and comfortable for day visitors or overnight stays

Gary looked after our greyhound Percy for 3 nights. It was the first time Percy had been away from home and he had a couple of issues while settling in but Gary took it in his stride. Due to his prey drive, Percy can be very reactive to other animals on walks and we were nervous about a sitter needing to handle this but we were reassured by Gary’s existing experience with other reactive dogs and also greyhounds. Gary gave us regular updates and sent us photos and videos of Percy enjoying walks and sleeping in his new favourite spot on the bed. We would definitely recommend Gary and will definitely be booking again with him the next time we go away!
Sophie was great with my cat and dog for a week while we went on holiday. It was the first time leaving my dog. They was both looked after very well. Had plenty of updates and photo of them both. As I don’t drive I paid the extra fee to get them both picked up and dropped off which was really worth it and made it so much easier. She only has animas from the same household at one time which is great as my dog hasn’t been done and a lot of places wouldn’t take him because of mixing with other dogs. I would use Sophie again if I needed a sitter again. I definitely recommend her.

From day one jessica texted us on holiday giving us reassurance that Frankie was happy and contented. Put us at ease with photos of Frankie every day with a blog of his day. She met us prior to our hols so that Frankie knew her and her little dog dumpling We would highly recommend jessica and will use her again for our future holidays.

My Cocker Spaniel is full of energy and can be quite a handful at times, but Jay handled him amazingly well. He knew exactly how to keep him happy and active. I was away for a few days and had complete peace of mind knowing my dog was in such good hands. When I came back, my dog was happy, relaxed, and clearly had a great time. I couldn't be happier with the care my dog received with Jay and his family! And their dog Buddy is a blessing too.
Wow an amazing experience from start to finish. We booked our Darcie girl last minute due to pet sitting problems. Jessica was accommodating and communicated well at time of booking. Whilst we were on holiday we got daily updates and multiple photos. Jessica put me an instead constant ease that Darcie was in safe hands. If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
