About: I've always loved dogs! We lost our beloved dog Henry at Christmas and my home feels a little quiet. I would love to care for your furry friend. I will ensure they get plenty of fresh air as I live opposite a green space, centrally located with lots of choice of parks to visit for playtime. Offering countless cuddles and the dedicated attention they deserve when they're away. I have a flexible work schedule and can work from home. I have support of my adult daughter, between us we are fully committed to a dog's needs. I have a bright, airy apartment with a large green space on our doorstep. I am used to taking a dog out regularly as part of my daily routine. A secure environment and safe space is essential when caring for dogs. About: I've grown up with my 11 year old poodle, so I've always been around dogs and absolutely love spending time with them. So I'm very familiar with everything that comes with caring for them. Such as daily walks, feeding, playtime, grooming and, of course, lots of cuddles. I've also looked after my partner's family dogs many times over the last few years, so I'm comfortable caring for different breeds and personalities. I know how important it is to leave your dog with someone you trust, so I'll treat them like they're my own and make sure they get plenty of love, attention and care. I'll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you know they're having a great time! x I work full-time Monday to Thursday, but my company offers flexibility to work from home. With some advance notice, I can arrange to work from home, which allows me to fit your dog’s routine into my day and provide plenty of attention, company, and care. This makes boarding, walks, playtime, and quality time together easy to fit into my schedule. My home has a secure fenced garden where dogs can have toilet breaks whenever they need to, especially for dogs who only go outside. They can also enjoy safe outdoor time and fresh air in the garden. With lots of green areas nearby, minimum of 1 hour of walking per day would be part of their routine, with plenty of opportunities for exercise and play.

Raz took a brilliant care of my Spaniel, especially as it turned out to be during the heatwave so wasn't an easy task. My dog seemed very happy and sounded like had a great time with the whole family, and my mind was kept at ease by updates during the day I got from Raz. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
