Welcome to my profile! *Please let me know when requesting a booking if my dog is able to come along. A little about me: I've trained dogs with friends and family since I was young, and have recently gotten into grooming as well. With my own pup I have been able to learn much more about behaviour and training, and adore being attentive to the needs of dogs I meet and look after. I've looked after spaniels of all sorts, Dalmatians, sight hounds, and boxers. I have experience with puppies and adult dogs. If you have a senior dog you'd like me to look after, I am happy to take them, but will want to be very particular about getting their care right. I'm available most days, with 4-hour work shifts Monday to Thursday 11am-3pm. If you'd need me during those times please let me know and I can rearrange my shifts.

I couldn’t have hoped to find a better person to look after my 8-month-old puppy. This was the first time I had left him with someone else. It’s very clear that she genuinely loves animals… and they love her back. I found someone who didn’t just look after my dog but was completely committed to making sure he is happy, settled and content… and properly spoilt. When I picked him up he was upset to leave which really says it all! I will most definitely be booking again with you without an ounce of doubt. I’d like to keep this a secret to ensure I get first dips next time but this lovely lady deserves the recognition.
I can’t recommend Amelia highly enough. She is unbelievably kind and caring and very experienced when it comes to dogs. It’s clear how much she genuinely loves and understands them. My dog has now stayed with her twice for daycare, and we’ve already booked a five-day boarding stay because I trust her completely. She takes the time to understand my dog’s individual personality and quirks without judgement, treating him with patience, kindness, and so much love. It’s such a relief knowing Dougie is in such safe and caring hands. Highly recommend!
Amelia was really responsive and flexible when we arranged a two night stay for Lottie. Lottie had a lovely time and was clearly extremely happy with Nugget and Amelia. Would 100% recommend!
Rudy had another lovely stay with Amelia and was very excited to see her and Nugget again when he arrived. Nugget was very accommodating to having Rudy in her space again, thank you Amelia :)
Amelia was really good with Bandit and he really enjoyed his time there! I was worried about leaving him with anyone due to his high energy but he loved her and Nugget and was looked after perfectly 🐾😊. Thank you again 🩷
Amelia’s took Rudy for NYE at short notice and her communication prior to booking was great, with Amelia asking questions to determine how best to care for him (if Rudy was fine with fireworks, would need a long walk etc). Amelia sent lots of updates showing Rudy having a fab time with her pup Nugget and lots of cuddles! Thank you Amelia! We would definitely book again and recommend.

Schedule
I'm currently working part time and freelance, so I am fully flexible. I have a dog at home, but am able to leave her there with my family for overnight visits if necessary.

Safety, trust & environment
I am ready to listen to all the quirks of your pet and home, and no, nothing is too detailed! I'll be staying with your pet the whole time unless we have pre-arranged a short period of time for them to be alone. For puppies I will gladly take them to the toilet every hour or so as needed, and am looking forward to playing or snuggling with your pet!

A typical day
Finding out what your dog likes to play is great fun! Scent games? Chase? Fetch? Or even a little brain challenge training session? Maybe an obstacle course, or learning a new trick!
