About: I’ve grown up in the countryside and always loved animals. I have had rescue dogs and I have experience with both puppies and senior dogs. I love all breeds and I am currently study to become a dog trainer. I am currently working from home with flexible hours. I usually go out for a 30 mins walk in the morning, one-hour during lunch time and in the afternoon/and before bed. I make sure the dogs have plenty of exercise. I have a fenced garden and a Cavalier King Charles that enjoy the company of other puppies. The dogs are allowed on the sofa and I am going to respect their routine for walks, food or medications. Having a puppy myself I keep the house hazard-free.

About: My family always had dogs when I was growing up and as soon as I was able to I brought my own dog home. I got Dixie when she was 8 weeks old and we had the best life together until she very sadly passed away in 2025. I lasted 6 months without a dog in the home and brought Dottie the cocker spaniel home in September '25. I’m experienced in what a dog needs (walks, toilet trips, food, fresh water, baths if necessary, affection etc) and importantly what their parents need also (to feel reassured and confident their fur baby is in good, safe hands). I feel I have a natural connection with all animals but dogs in particular and I’m honestly never happier than when I’m in the company of our four legged furry friends. Dixie was my child and was treated as such - allowed the run of the house, fed like a Queen, slept on the bed - and Dottie is recieving the same princess treatment! Any dog staying at my house or being walked / looked after by me will be treated with care, love and respect. I am available for daycare, walks and boarding Monday - Sunday and flexible when it comes to peak holiday time. My calendar is always up to date with my availability. My garden is fully enclosed and has a small lawn for potty breaks. Dog beds are available. My house is two storey and has hard wood flooring downstairs.
About: I’ve grown up around dogs and have years of hands-on experience caring for both playful puppies and older dogs with their own unique needs. I understand how important routine, patience, and gentle guidance are with pups, from toilet training to socialisation. With older dogs, I’m confident managing medication, changes in mobility, and making sure they feel safe and supported. I always adapt my care to each dog’s personality and needs, and I treat every one of them like family. Pet care is a big part of my weekly routine and something I really enjoy. I plan my time around the pets I look after to make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for. Whether it’s feeding, walks, playtime or just giving cuddles and company, I fit it into my day like second nature. I’m used to having animals around me, so it doesn’t feel like work – it’s something I genuinely love being part of. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or theirs, I always focus on making them feel safe, loved, and comfortable. In a pet owner’s home, I stick closely to their usual routine—feeding times, walks, play, and any special instructions—to help the pet feel at ease while their owner is away. In my home, I make sure the environment is calm and pet-friendly, with space to play and rest. I also keep things clean, safe, and full of love so they feel just as cared for as they would at home.
About: As a graduate medical student and qualified Dietitian, I bring a highly professional and responsible approach to pet care. I have grown up with dogs and have been dog sitting from a young age, giving me years of hands-on experience. As a result, I am confident handling all breeds and life stages—from energetic puppies to large breeds like Alsatians and Rottweilers. My background as a veterinary volunteer also means I am completely comfortable administering pills, liquids, and injections for pets with medical needs. As a graduate medical student, my schedule is very flexible, and with my partner frequently working from home, one of us is almost always here for playtime and potty breaks. This ensures your dog has constant company and routine. For your complete peace of mind, I am fully DBS checked. We live in a house with a fully secured, fenced garden that is perfect for safe exploration. Your dog will also have a buddy! We have a gentle, well-socialised Cockapoo named Dumpling who loves guests—fantastic for dogs who enjoy a companion. On walks, safety is my top priority; I will keep your dog on-lead unless you have given explicit written permission otherwise. We always manage introductions calmly and I encourage a "Meet & Greet" to discuss any triggers and ensure a perfect fit.
About: My love for pets is unconditional and I treat then like my babies! I am very playful, fun and love to be active, so leave your pets with me without any worries. I pay lots of attention when your pets is with me and guarantee that your pet will leave my house happy. I am currently working part-time from home and love to have pets around me while working. I am happy to board your dog at any time (within a period of notice). Home visits, dog walkies and potty breaks are other services which I also provide at any time of the day alongside my part-time job. I have a beautiful big fenced garden for your pet to play and browse. Your pet is also allowed to go everywhere around the house such as bathroom, kitchen and living room. When taking dogs for walk, I always ensure that I pay full attention to them and around me at all time. I always follow instructions from the pet owners to ensure that I provide a great service. I am happy if the pet owner wants to meet up with me before I provide the service. This would allow both of us to build trust.

About: Local dog walker available for regular weekday and weekend walks in Coventry and surrounding areas. We also offer dedicated weekend boarding ,including Mondays, ideal for anyone heading away for a weekend break or working away at the start of the week. We also offer Tuesday day care, perfect for extending a trip or easing back into the work week. We have our own labradoodle Frank who is big and friendly. He gets on well with all dogs but any dogs we bring into our home will also need to be comfortable around other dogs. Dogs staying with us enjoy a warm, cosy, and loving family environment, where they’re treated like one of our own. Many of the dogs who come here regularly have been staying with us for years, becoming true members of our extended furry family. I currently work part-time on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, which means I have plenty of time for walks, play, and boarding on other days. I’m also available on Friday evenings, weekends, and into Monday, so your dog will always get lots of attention, company, and outdoor time during their stay. Our home is set up to keep dogs safe, comfortable, and relaxed. The garden is fully fenced, with an additional picket fence so dogs can have separate outdoor time if needed. Inside, we’ve got baby gates, crates, and a calm setup to make sure everyone has their own space. If your dog is comfortable with it, we’d love nothing more than to have them up on the sofa for a cuddle in the evenings. Our 1½-year-old son adores animals and is learning to be gentle and respectful — he gives Frank lots of cuddles, and we always make sure visiting dogs aren’t overwhelmed. We have a secure fenced garden and use baby gates indoors to keep everything safe and well-managed. Dogs are welcome on the sofa downstairs, and I can crate them at night if that’s what they’re used to. We’re happy to host multiple dogs as long as they’re friendly and comfortable around others. Any dog staying here does need to be comfortable around children and not aggressive. Above all, we aim to provide a calm, homely setting where your dog can settle in, have fun, and feel part of the family from the moment they arrive. About: I’ve been caring for dogs and cats since I was 12, including raising both a German Shepherd and a Yorkie from puppyhood. I’m comfortable with basic puppy training, daily routines, and giving pets lots of attention and patience. I’m very active, so walks, playtime, and keeping pets happy come naturally to me. I always treat every animal like my own and make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for. Pet care has always been part of my daily routine. My parents have 3 cats and 2 dogs, and when I lived with them, it was my responsibility to walk the dogs and feed the cats every day. Taking care of animals has always been a natural part of my schedule, and I’m used to making time for their needs. In a pet owner’s home, I make sure pets get consistent daily care. I walk dogs, feed both dogs and cats on their regular schedule, and always spend time playing with them and giving them attention. I focus on keeping their routine as normal as possible so they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while you’re away.

About: I have been caring for dogs since I was a child, as my family has always had dogs at home. My most meaningful experience is with my Yorkshire Terrier, whom I have raised since she was born. She is now 18 years old, so I have extensive experience caring for senior dogs with patience and attention to their needs. I am responsible for preparing her meals daily, taking her on walks, and spending quality time playing with her. In addition, I have cared for a medium-sized mixed-breed dog that we rescued after an accident. I have been looking after him for over 7 years, including supporting his recovery and ongoing care. These experiences have made me a responsible, attentive, and compassionate pet sitter who truly understands different needs—from young dogs to senior pets. I am a master’s student in Coventry, so I have a flexible schedule. During term breaks, I am available most of the day and throughout the week. In term time, my availability depends on my class schedule, but I can still be flexible and plan pet care around my studies. I can care for pets in their home by spending time with them, feeding them, and playing to keep them happy and comfortable. I usually stay with my own dog at home, so I’m used to being around pets and making sure they feel safe and relaxed.
“Hi Divya, just wanted to say thank-you so much for feeding and looking after our cats Ollie, Mao and Leyla 24.05.2025-25.05.2025. It's so difficult where cats are concerned as they can be so elusive! But please continue to do this in the future as we want you to know that we really appreciate what you are doing. Thank you so much again 🌟🌟💖 Jo and family.”

“Dorothy did a great job of looking after my cat over a long weekend. I was sent regular messages and photos during each visit so I knew he was being cared for. Will definitely ask Dorothy to come again. All instructions were followed and she spent time playing and fussing him”

“Amy did a fantastic job taking care of our cat! She followed all of my instructions perfectly and went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right. I really appreciate it - thank you, Amy!”

I am more than happy to take care of other people’s fluffy friends. I’m a PhD student so my hours can be very flexible. So get in touch and we can arrange something that works for you, me and your fluffy friends I am very respectful of the space I am allowed to use, and I will always do my best to take care of everything within the owner’s home. I will follow any routines that their pets have, even if it includes giving medicine or cooking for them.
“Our cat Pingu is a very shy boy around strangers, Buket was so gentle and patient with him that his confidence came on in leaps and bounds in ways that we’ve not seen with anyone else before. Buket clearly understands cat behaviour very well and we came back to a happy and relaxed cat as a result! 10/10 would recommend.”

About: Although I was raised mainly with cats and rabbits, pets have always been part of my life and for dog breeds I have been around cocker spaneils and a lovely Jack Russell. I was also a member of Spaniel Aid and fostered a dog who was able to get a loving family home. I have also helped look after friends and families dogs over the years. This has consisted of home visits while they have been out to overnight stays at my house. 18 months ago, due to unforeseen circumstances, I rehomed a dachshund named Otis who has ignited my love for being outdoors and enjoying nature. I have worked with him to gain his trust and confidence and he is now thriving. I would like to help in any way I can to look after your pet from house visits to walking them and any help that you need. I look after my dog on a daily basis who works at home. I am flexible to meet your needs and help you look after your pet within your busy life whether morning or afternoon. I will fully adapt to both your dog’s needs and environment - I am confident in making sure they are comfortable to gain trust around me.

Dog owners share their Rover experiences - Coventry
Jiahui was fantastic with Bernie. Bernie can be anxious with new people, but Jiahui made her feel comfortable with strokes, treats and even bringing her own toys for Bernie to play with. Communication was great and she provided lots of photos and videos of Bernie. I couldn't recommend Jiahui more and I will definitely be booking with her again in the future :)

I needed someone to take my dog for his night walk while I was at a Christmas party in London on Friday night, Keira handled my powerful 10 months old Doberman really well, while I use raw power to control my dobermann she has good experience with dogs and used some training techniques to handle him and also followed my instructions. Overall I'm satisfied with the booking.

Niamh came and did a fantastic job doing some shorter home visits for us. She looked after our older dog and this time also had the challenge of our new puppy! Niamh took care of all the puppy’s needs and definitely enjoyed a cuddle or two! Lots of photos and the updates were great. ❤️ Choose Niamh!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
