I keep a calm, structured routine with plenty of time for walks, play, rest and one to one attention. I always try to follow your dog’s normal routine so they feel safe and settled. About: Hi, I’m Lucy - a reliable and experienced dog lover based in Charlbury 🐾 I provide a calm, home-from-home environment for dogs, where they are treated like part of the family. I live in a spacious home on the edge of Charlbury, surrounded by beautiful countryside walks, and I have a very flexible schedule so your dog will get plenty of time, attention, and care throughout the day. I’ve been around dogs my whole life and grew up around my dad’s work as a police dog handler and trainer, giving me experience with dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. I’ve also raised my own dogs from puppies and have experience with senior dogs, so I understand the different needs they may have. At home currently, I have two friendly and well-socialised dogs: • Kobe, a 5 year old cockapoo, who is calm, gentle, and very relaxed • Ovie, a 1 year old toy poodle, who is playful, friendly, and loves other dogs Both are great with other dogs and have spent plenty of time around dogs of all sizes, ages and many different temperaments. Your dog will be cared for in a relaxed household setting, with: • Daily walks (morning and afternoon) • Lots of attention and companionship throughout the day • Comfortable and flexible sleeping arrangements (crates available if preferred) • The option to socialise or have their own space if needed We also have a secure patio garden and a fully sectioned home, so I can easily adapt the environment depending on your dog’s needs and personality. I understand how important it is to feel confident leaving your dog with someone, so I’ll always keep you updated with photos and messages to give you peace of mind. I’d love to meet you and your dog so feel free to get in touch! 🐶🩷 I currently have a very flexible schedule, so I’m able to give dogs plenty of time, attention, and supervision throughout the day. My own dogs are walked every morning and at least once again in the afternoon, with a mix of longer countryside walks and shorter outings depending on their needs. Dogs staying with me are included in this routine and are rarely left alone or can be supervised at all times if required, making this ideal for dogs who enjoy company and a home environment. I provide a safe, calm, and home-from-home environment where dogs are treated as part of the family. I live in a spacious home with plenty of room to relax, and I can easily section areas of the house if a dog needs their own space. I have two very friendly, well-socialised dogs, and I always introduce dogs carefully to make sure everyone is comfortable. We have a secure patio garden for outdoor time, and we’re surrounded by beautiful countryside walks. Dogs are walked at least twice daily, with a mix of longer and shorter walks depending on their needs. I’m happy to walk dogs on or off lead (with owner consent), depending on their recall, temperament, and what they’re used to. All walks are done with safety as the top priority. I also have access to nearby secure dog fields, which are a great option for safe, enclosed off-lead exercise and playtime, particularly for dogs who enjoy more freedom or need a secure space for a good run around. I have experience with dogs of all ages and temperaments, and I’m confident adapting care to suit each dog’s individual needs. Crates can be provided if preferred. We also have a very calm, elderly cat who keeps to himself and has his own space away from the dogs. I’m always happy to provide regular updates, photos, and messages so you can feel completely at ease while you’re away.

About: Hi! My name is Krithu, As a family, we understand how important it is to leave your dog with someone you can genuinely trust. We have a fun-loving 3-year-old Labrador who is a treasured member of our family, so we know just how much love, care, and attention dogs need every day. While caring for our own dog has given me and my mother (Sangeetha) valuable hands-on experience with energetic breeds, daily walks, feeding routines, playtime, and creating a safe, happy environment where dogs feel comfortable and secure. We know that every dog has their own personality and routine, which is why we take the time to get to know each pet and tailor our care to their individual needs. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, interactive play, cuddles on the sofa, or simply having company throughout the day, my mum and I will make sure they receive plenty of affection, exercise, and one-on-one attention while you're away. Your dog's happiness and wellbeing will always be our priority. We are a reliable, caring, and patient family, and we'll treat your pet as if they were one of our own. To give you complete peace of mind, we'll keep you updated with regular photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your furry family member is safe, loved, and in caring hands. I have a very flexible schedule and am available throughout the day to provide attentive, reliable pet care. I can easily accommodate walks, feeding, playtime, grooming, and plenty of companionship, while sticking to your pet's usual routine. I enjoy spending time with animals and will make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you're away. I provide a safe, caring, and welcoming environment for every pet. At my home, I have a securely fenced garden where dogs can play safely and enjoy plenty of supervised outdoor time. I also have a friendly Labrador who loves the company of other dogs, and I always introduce pets gradually to ensure they feel comfortable and relaxed.
“Millie was fantastic looking after our two cats, feeding, playing, changing litter, and giving medications. She was great with communication before and during looking after them. She came round before we went away to meet the cats and understand what was needed. She sent updates with photos and videos while we were away which was hugely appreciated. We felt really comfortable having Millie look after our cats while we were away and the cats were very happy and relaxed when we got home. I would absolutely recommend Millie.”

About: I have an 8 year old female Cocker Spaniel. Experience with drop in visits to friend’s dogs. New to Rover as a sitter myself. I am a teacher by day working 4 days a week. Mondays are my free days so have full availability on a Monday to suit your needs. I have a small fenced in garden. My garden does have astro turf. I can drive so happy to travel with your pup or to walk in your local area.
“Tabitha did a great job with drop-in visits for my cat. It was a last minute request that she was able to help book in a day. She took great care of my pet, was communicative, and sent lots of good photos. Would book again!”

About: I love all animals and have grown up with cats and dogs at my family home. Since becoming a nurse, shift work means that although I’d love to have a pet, I know I couldn’t provide the right care and support every day for them now. That’s why I am hoping to look after your loved ones (I have experience with this, both humans and animals!) and will be able to care for a pet that I can’t currently support full time myself. I guarantee your pet will be loved, well looked after, and safe in my hands. I do shift work so availability will be variable but I am fortunate enough to write my own rota and so can adjust my schedule to suit others needs. I wouldn’t be able to board or sit overnight for longer than a night or 2 normally but if it needed to be longer this could be arranged with a good amount of pre-planning. I have a fenced house with easy access to fields and dog walking routes at the back door and I live in a quiet village away from busy roads. I also have a fairly large vehicle for any pick up or drop off needs. I have no current pets or children in my own household and so can offer a relaxed and quiet environment. Despite having my own pets in the past I am respectful of the training and behaviours you instil with your own pets and will do my utmost to follow this.
“I feel bad for taking so long to leave a review. Life has been crazy since our holiday, Sam was absolutely brilliant, I couldn't recommend him enough, our dogs were at ease very quickly, super responsive updates, lovely photos everyday to give a reassurance our dogs were happy. 10/10.”

About: I absolutely adore animals, and my gentle giant Loki and I love welcoming extra furry (and feathered!) friends into our world. Whether it's a quick pop-in to check on your pet, a refreshing walk, or staying over to keep them comfortable in their own home, I treat every animal with the same care and patience I give my own. At home, I share my life with Loki (a giant breed dog), 2 cats, 2 chickens, and 3 quail, so I'm genuinely comfortable with all kinds of animals and their quirks, big, small, feathered, or four-legged. As a giant breed owner myself, I know how much trust it takes to hand over care of a large or strong dog, and I bring that same calm, confident energy to pets of every size. I live in the countryside and spend much of my own time outdoors, so walks are never rushed. I know beautiful routes right from the front door, plus a short drive to woodlands, parks, and National Trust grounds 🌳. For house sitting and pop-ins, I focus on keeping your pet's routine consistent and stress-free, so they feel safe and loved while you're away. Your pet isn't just "looked after" with me. They're cared for the way I'd want mine cared for. I work from home so your pet will always have some company. I can accommodate your special pet care needs and happy to provide whatever you need! I have a gated courtyard and a large grassy garden for your pets to enjoy! Your pet will be welcomed into our loving, caring and secure family cottage.
About: My name is Ioanna (Joanna ), I'm originally from Greece and I have two dogs back home, Snoopy, who is a 10-year-old Maltese and Crepa (from the French dessert crepe), who just turned 1, which I miss a lot! I can offer long (or short) walks, check in on them once or twice a day to feed and play with them, and dog-sit at the owner's house for 3-4 days, preferably on weekends. If your dog loves to go for runs, I am also a runner, so that is another option. I wanna be a dog sitter not only for my love for dogs but because I have great knowledge on how to take care of them and am willing to provide for our little paw-friends whatever they need! My only weakness is that if they behave, I have to give them treats! I have had lots of experience dog sitting, not only through my own dogs but through my friends' and neighbours' dogs whenever they needed an assist during holidays or last-minute work trips. I am mostly acquainted with small dogs; however, I grew up with my best friend's four big Labradoodles, so I know I can manage any type of dog! I’m currently a uni student so my schedule is quite flexible as I have limited lectures a day. Therefore I can plan my day accordingly to the dogs needs if needed Having had a very wild dog myself , I have learned different ways to protect dogs and make sure they are safe. Additionally, I am extremely patient and will do what I can to help them
“Albert had a fantastic walk with Lewis, who took him for a long trip at lunch with his partner and their dog Rocky. Albert has since slept all afternoon and is looking forward to his next adventure! I would highly recommend Lewis.”

Maya was excellent with Ziggy our Border Collie for the 2 days we were away, she treated our Ziggy with the love and affection that we would give him! Maya also kept to the agreed times and was there on time both days. Maya kept us updated with pictures and videos of Ziggy and it looked like he had a lovely time with her playing fetch and giving her loads of cuddles and sloppy kisses! We will definitely not hesitate to have Maya look after Ziggy again. Thanks Maya! 🐕

We asked Maya to look after our dog Peggy whilst we were out at a festival on holiday and she was just brilliant - her communication was great beforehand and we were able to arrange to meet her the day before she would turn up to our holiday let to greet our dog without us. Maya knew the area and figured out parking and how to get there herself. She was reliable and punctual, so friendly and gave us confidence with her experience with dogs. Peggy was instantly fussed by her. On the day we were out she turned up on time, walked, fed and kept Peggy company and kept us updated with lovely photos and messages. We wouldn't hesitate to use Maya again, everything you would want from a dog sitter, thank you so much!
