About: I’ve grown up with dogs (English Bull Terriers) my whole life, I’ve owned my own fluff ball (Cavapoo) and I’ve looked after dogs belonging to friends and family. Always happy to do Friday evening through to Sunday evening, depending on availability. During school holidays, I am available full time. I am a teacher and therefore, I would be happy to look after your dog during the school holidays and weekends. I am a homely person and would love to create a safe & happy second home for your dog. I have a homely home with a grass, fenced garden. Any dog I take care of will have plenty cuddles, love, attention and countryside walks.
“Yan and her husband were amazing and most accommodating--they came and picked up Campbell and were very patient with her when she didn't exactly want to go! And then they brought her back to the pub where we were after the play. Great great experience! Will use them again--which is much higher of a compliment than anything we can say in a review!”

“Amber had a wonderful time staying with Laura and her family She loved the attention and company Especially excited by all the different socks she was able to collect - her favourite pass time Laura has plenty of experience boarding dogs - I would strongly recommend her if you are looking for peace of mind whilst you are away , knowing that your dog is being loved and cared for”

“We cannot say enough good things about Jennifer! Our dog, Dookie absolutely loves spending time with her. It’s such a relief to go away knowing he isn’t just being watched, but truly cared for. Whether he’s having the time of his life out on the farm or relaxing at home, Jennifer ensures he gets tons of stimulation and attention. Dookie always comes back happy, and we can tell he’s been treated like family. If you’re looking for a sitter who genuinely loves animals, Jennifer is the best!”

About: We have always loved having dogs in our lives. Our much-loved Golden Retriever was part of our family for 16 wonderful years. Since then, we’ve enjoyed providing holiday care for a colleague’s dog, and more recently we’ve had the pleasure of regularly looking after a gorgeous Cockapoo, Mabel, several days a week. Mabel has now emigrated to Ireland, leaving a rather large dog-shaped hole in our lives! We’d love to welcome another dog into our home and give them the same love, care and attention we’ve always given our own dogs. We have an enclosed courtyard and lovely countryside and fields nearby for walks, as well as a shady riverside walk for warmer days. We’re happy to tailor walks and activities to suit each dog, and most importantly, we want them to feel safe, settled and thoroughly spoilt while they’re with us. I work part-time but my husband and adult son are here between them all the time, so there is always someone around to care for and play. We have a secure, enclosed courtyard where dogs can enjoy some fresh air and a little outdoor time safely. We’re surrounded by lovely open fields with plenty of opportunities for good walks. On warmer days, there is also a lovely shady riverside walk nearby, so we can choose a cooler route and make sure dogs are comfortable. We provide a calm, safe and welcoming home-from-home environment where dogs can relax and feel part of the family.

“I can’t recommend Laura highly enough! She looked after my cat while I was away for a week, visiting multiple times a day, and took such wonderful care of her. My cat is quite timid, so I was naturally nervous about leaving her, but Laura was incredibly patient and kind. She kept me updated with messages and photos, which gave me so much reassurance, and it was lovely to hear how well my cat had settled with her. Laura is reliable, caring and clearly loves animals. Knowing my cat was in such safe hands meant I could relax and enjoy my holiday. I wouldn’t hesitate to book Laura again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a fantastic pet sitter.”

“Annie was absolutely lovely with my cat. Very attentive and caring, and she got many lovely photos from the days she visited. I'd highly recommend her, and will definitely be using her services again in the future 😁”

About: PLEASE NOTE: I am only offering boarding and day care in the dog owners home, in effect, I would also be house sitting for the dog owner. PLEASE NOTE: Unfortunately I don't drive and can only take requests from dog owners who live near a bus route or train station. I have always had an affinity with dogs; or rather they have an affinity with me! Dogs I have never met before always bound up to me and want to play! I have a very calm and patient personality which I think dogs pick up on. This in turn calms them and makes them feel comfortable. I am also an artist and a lover of the outdoors, which means I am always aware of my surroundings, taking in information that could inform my art as well as the surroundings the dog is in - I take my time whilst walking dogs as it's important for them to explore the environment they are most comfortable in - the outdoors. I work part-time so I will be able to work round people's individual needs. I will block off on my calendar when I am unavailable I always follow sitters specific instructions regarding how well their dogs are around other people, other dogs and stick to specific areas permitted by the owner.

“Victoria was wonderful with both our cat, Koji, and our rabbit, Bramble. She was very happy to give Koji his supplements and kept a close eye on Bramble for me due to her having just had her vaccines. I can’t recommend her enough!”

“Sian was amazing, we are very grateful to her for taking such wonderful care of our two cats. She used the drop in logging and visit report features really well, so we felt really well informed, and her communication was excellent. When we got home the cats weren’t bothered, which must be a sign of how well looked after they felt 😂 thanks again Sian!”

“I went away for more than three weeks, leaving my four cats, for longer than I had ever left them before. Olivia, was excellent sending daily reports and photos and videos. Even when one of my cat's, Claudious became ill and had to go twice to the vets, Olivia, took him to the vets and cared for him and gave him his medication. So, at a distance I could watch his recovery, and feel reassured he was in good hands. I can't thank Olivia enough, for her excellent care and loving affection she has given to my four cats. Whom, I am sure will miss her!”

“We were incredibly pleased with Bhasuri's cat-sitting services. She did an excellent job during her drop-in visits, ensuring our cats were well cared for and content. It was clear when we returned home that they were happy and had been looked after with great attention. Bhasuri kept us updated throughout, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring cat sitter.”

“Absolutely Amazing, Holly's love for dogs shined through in everything she did. Emmett sat on her doorstep not wanting to get in the car to leave, says it all. He had a wonderful time. Thank you Holly.”

“Bradi was absolutely fantastic and I genuinely cannot recommend her enough. Arlo came home so happy, relaxed and clearly very comfortable after spending time with her. She kept us updated throughout with lovely pupdates, and it was so reassuring to see how happy and settled he was. She also took such great care with his meal times, routine and preferences, which we really appreciated. We felt completely at ease knowing Arlo was in such good hands. If we are ever back in the Cotswolds, we will absolutely be reaching out to Bradi again. Thank you so much, Bradi, for taking such wonderful care of our boy!”

About: Most recently I’ve been a dog sitter for Estelle Manor hotel & members club. I’ve cared for both puppies and adult dogs and understand how different their needs can be. I raised a show dog and grew up supporting rescue puppies, so being around dogs has always felt natural to me. I’m calm, patient and attentive, and I treat every dog as if they were my own. I currently have full availability white I take a hiatus from the 9-5, which allows plenty of one to one attention with your pup. Dogs are welcome upstairs too, with a comfy bed downstairs for elderly pups or those new to stairs. Lots of walks through the village and Fields to keep them exercised while you’re away.

About: My wife and I both grew up with dogs, we've had our own for over 3 years now. We've been sitting dogs via rover for over two years now. We like to take our dogs for a long morning walk, around 5km and a shorter afternoon walk to make sure they're well exercised. My partner and I work mostly remote, there is always one of us at home so we are very flexible with sitting and walking dogs. We have a dog of our own, we always like to have a short introduction first to ensure they get on (we haven't had any rejections yet!). We always walk the dogs at least twice a day: a long walk in the morning and a shorter walk in the afternoon. We have a fenced garden with lawn area for the dogs to sunbath and run around in.

“Crash loved his stay. He was entertained throughout the day. Crash loves playing fletch with the ball. The dog sitter was quick to response to my request and we did a meet and greet session before booking Crash in. I would use their dog services again. Highly recommend.”

“Alice was wonderful while taking care of my puppy, Dexter. Even though the stay ended up being shorter than planned because the dogs didn’t quite get along, she handled everything with kindness, empathy, and great communication. I really appreciated how thoughtful and caring she was, and it’s clear she truly cares about the dogs she looks after. Thank you so much, Alice!”

About: 30 years of experience of owning and handling dogs! I’ve had dogs in my family since I was 10 years old and love all breeds. I have a Bichon Frise, GiGi, who is 2 years old. She is very well socialised as she has attended a doggy daycare on a regular basis since she was a puppy and gets on well with both small and large breeds. GiGi enjoys playing and chasing with other dogs, but will respect their boundaries if they are uninterested in the same! I work from home 2 days each week and so can accommodate dogs on certain weekdays and weekends. I can also offer morning/lunchtime/evening walks and/or drop ins. Other than on weekends I can’t offer boarding services. Should your dog visit my home I have a secure gated garden. Generally, dogs would have the full run of my house and are treated as part of the family! There is a large lawn out of the front of the house and I am a short distance from lots of beautiful countryside walks.

My sister who was house sitting and looking after Lottie at home was kept regularly updated especially when Lottie wanted to have major sniffs making their walk a bit longer and Holly just let her know. About: Hi! My name is Krithu, As a family, we understand how important it is to leave your dog with someone you can genuinely trust. We have a fun-loving 3-year-old Labrador who is a treasured member of our family, so we know just how much love, care, and attention dogs need every day. While caring for our own dog has given me and my mother (Sangeetha) valuable hands-on experience with energetic breeds, daily walks, feeding routines, playtime, and creating a safe, happy environment where dogs feel comfortable and secure. We know that every dog has their own personality and routine, which is why we take the time to get to know each pet and tailor our care to their individual needs. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, interactive play, cuddles on the sofa, or simply having company throughout the day, my mum and I will make sure they receive plenty of affection, exercise, and one-on-one attention while you're away. Your dog's happiness and wellbeing will always be our priority. We are a reliable, caring, and patient family, and we'll treat your pet as if they were one of our own. I have a very flexible schedule and am available throughout the day to provide attentive, reliable pet care. At my home, I have a securely fenced garden where dogs can play safely and enjoy plenty of supervised outdoor time. I also have a friendly Labrador who loves the company of other dogs, and I always introduce pets gradually to ensure they feel comfortable and relaxed.
“What can I say! Grace is fabulous and nothing is too much trouble. She was lovely with Sydney who can be very shy when meeting new people. Grace came a little bit earlier to sit with her to make friends before heading out. Thank you Grace we highly recommend you x”

About: Hi, I’m Alice! 👋🐾 I’ve always been the person my family and friends call when they need someone they can completely trust to care for their pets and home while they’re away. After years of looking after dogs, cats and homes for the people closest to me, I decided it was time to turn something I genuinely love into a professional service. As a dog owner myself (my energetic Springer Spaniel, Ernie, certainly keeps me on my toes!), I understand that every pet is unique. Some dogs thrive on long countryside adventures, while others are happiest with a gentle stroll and plenty of sniffing. I always tailor walks and care to suit your pet’s age, breed, energy levels and routine. Ernie happily walks for up to an hour, so I’m more than comfortable with active dogs, but I’m just as happy taking things at a slower pace for puppies, seniors or more relaxed companions. Outside of pet sitting, I work in creative production where organisation, communication and attention to detail are part of my everyday life. I’m also a volunteer with the British Red Cross Emergency Response Team, so remaining calm, dependable and prepared comes naturally. Whether I’m caring for your pets or your home, you can be confident everything will be looked after with the same care and respect I’d expect for my own. What you can expect Every visit is centred around keeping your pet happy, comfortable and sticking to the routine they’re familiar with. Depending on your booking, this could include: 🐾 Walks tailored to your dog’s individual needs 🐾 Feeding, fresh water and administering medication if required (provided I’m given clear instructions) 🐾 Playtime, enrichment and plenty of fuss (if they enjoy it!) 🐾 Cleaning up after pets and keeping their living areas tidy 🐾 Lots of cuddles, companionship and reassurance while you’re away 🐾 Regular photo and video updates so you can relax knowing your pet is happy If I’m staying in your home, I’ll also happily bring in post, water plants, put bins out, and leave everything clean, tidy and secure. Caring for different personalities Not every pet is instantly confident—and that’s absolutely okay. I take the time to let nervous or shy pets get to know me at their own pace and always use positive, patient handling. For energetic dogs, I’m happy to provide plenty of exercise, play and mental stimulation to keep them occupied. My priority is making sure every animal feels safe, respected and cared for as an individual. My aim is simple: to give you complete peace of mind while you’re away. I’ll care for your pets as if they were my own, keep your home safe and well looked after, and ensure you return to happy pets and a home exactly as you left it. I can’t wait to meet you and your four-legged family members! 🩷🐶 I work full-time but have a flexible hybrid schedule and work from home on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, so I can offer plenty of company, walks, toilet breaks and attention throughout the day. I’m also available for evening visits, overnight stays and weekends. As a dog owner myself, pet care is already a big part of my everyday routine! I’m used to planning my day around walks, feeding and making sure my own dog gets plenty of attention and stimulation. I know how much trust it takes to leave both your pet and your home in someone else’s hands, so I’ll always treat both with the same care and respect I’d want for my own. I’ll follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, toilet breaks, sleeping arrangements and any specific instructions you leave. I’m careful with doors, gates and leads, and I’ll always make sure pets are safe and settled before leaving. I’m also very respectful of people’s homes and will keep everything clean, tidy and secure. Most importantly, I’ll send regular photos and updates so you can relax while you’re away knowing everything is in safe hands.

About: Hi, I’m Lucy - a reliable and experienced dog lover based in Charlbury 🐾 I provide a calm, home-from-home environment for dogs, where they are treated like part of the family. I live in a spacious home on the edge of Charlbury, surrounded by beautiful countryside walks, and I have a very flexible schedule so your dog will get plenty of time, attention, and care throughout the day. I’ve been around dogs my whole life and grew up around my dad’s work as a police dog handler and trainer, giving me experience with dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. I’ve also raised my own dogs from puppies and have experience with senior dogs, so I understand the different needs they may have. At home currently, I have two friendly and well-socialised dogs: • Kobe, a 5 year old cockapoo, who is calm, gentle, and very relaxed • Ovie, a 1 year old toy poodle, who is playful, friendly, and loves other dogs Both are great with other dogs and have spent plenty of time around dogs of all sizes, ages and many different temperaments. Your dog will be cared for in a relaxed household setting, with: • Daily walks (morning and afternoon) • Lots of attention and companionship throughout the day • Comfortable and flexible sleeping arrangements (crates available if preferred) • The option to socialise or have their own space if needed We also have a secure patio garden and a fully sectioned home, so I can easily adapt the environment depending on your dog’s needs and personality. I understand how important it is to feel confident leaving your dog with someone, so I’ll always keep you updated with photos and messages to give you peace of mind. I’d love to meet you and your dog so feel free to get in touch! 🐶🩷 I currently have a very flexible schedule, so I’m able to give dogs plenty of time, attention, and supervision throughout the day. My own dogs are walked every morning and at least once again in the afternoon, with a mix of longer countryside walks and shorter outings depending on their needs. Dogs staying with me are included in this routine and are rarely left alone or can be supervised at all times if required, making this ideal for dogs who enjoy company and a home environment. I provide a safe, calm, and home-from-home environment where dogs are treated as part of the family. I live in a spacious home with plenty of room to relax, and I can easily section areas of the house if a dog needs their own space. I have two very friendly, well-socialised dogs, and I always introduce dogs carefully to make sure everyone is comfortable. We have a secure patio garden for outdoor time, and we’re surrounded by beautiful countryside walks. Dogs are walked at least twice daily, with a mix of longer and shorter walks depending on their needs. I’m happy to walk dogs on or off lead (with owner consent), depending on their recall, temperament, and what they’re used to. All walks are done with safety as the top priority. I also have access to nearby secure dog fields, which are a great option for safe, enclosed off-lead exercise and playtime, particularly for dogs who enjoy more freedom or need a secure space for a good run around. I have experience with dogs of all ages and temperaments, and I’m confident adapting care to suit each dog’s individual needs. Crates can be provided if preferred. We also have a very calm, elderly cat who keeps to himself and has his own space away from the dogs. I’m always happy to provide regular updates, photos, and messages so you can feel completely at ease while you’re away.
“Responded quickly to my initial enquiry. Met beforehand to introduce ourselves and to take the our dog for a trial walk. The two actual walks went really well. Jessie had a lovely time. Craig and Judith are lovely, reliable and trustworthy. Would definitely use them again.”

About: My mother started a non profit rescue organization, for abused & neglected dogs back in South Africa when I was just 11. Since then I have grown up working along side vets, assisting with any medical & care treatment needed for dogs. I have experience in bottle feeding, inoculations, first aid, new borns, seniors & even dogs with different disabilities. Growing up I lived with an average of 30 plus dogs at once, coming in & out as we nursed them back to health & found them forever families. I’m a massive animal lover & go out of my way to ensure your fur babies are constantly happy & safe! Have had my own reactive dog walking business for over 4 years now & love getting to work with all sorts of breeds I’m currently studying online & work mornings from 05:00- 8:30 am Monday- Saturday. I do not work weekends unless I’m house sitting. But other than that I’m available between my online lessons throughout the day from 9-5 Monday to Fridays. I treat your fur babies as if they my own. Obviously depending on different house rules, I usually tend to allow the dogs to sleep on the bed with me. My main priority at the end of the day is to make sure your fur babies are safe & comfortable.
About: I have had pets my whole life and looked after family, friends and strangers animals for over 10 years. I believe all animals deserve the best care from their owners and/ or pet sitters. I have experience administrating/ injecting diabetes medication for dogs and have looked after deaf, blind, big or small dogs. I’m currently working part time, so roughly 3 to 4 hours a day so pet care works really well with my schedule as there is no long periods where they are left alone! I have a secured garden where my own dog roams and has not managed to escape for 10 years! There is grass and lots of various things for them to sniff around and explore.
“Tabitha was excellent at communicating and had a successful walk with Marco - everything was returned as I'd left it at home and received some lovely photos of their walk too.”

About: I absolutely adore animals, and my gentle giant Loki and I love welcoming extra furry (and feathered!) friends into our world. Whether it's a quick pop-in to check on your pet, a refreshing walk, or staying over to keep them comfortable in their own home, I treat every animal with the same care and patience I give my own. At home, I share my life with Loki (a giant breed dog), 2 cats, 2 chickens, and 3 quail, so I'm genuinely comfortable with all kinds of animals and their quirks, big, small, feathered, or four-legged. As a giant breed owner myself, I know how much trust it takes to hand over care of a large or strong dog, and I bring that same calm, confident energy to pets of every size. I live in the countryside and spend much of my own time outdoors, so walks are never rushed. I know beautiful routes right from the front door, plus a short drive to woodlands, parks, and National Trust grounds 🌳. For house sitting and pop-ins, I focus on keeping your pet's routine consistent and stress-free, so they feel safe and loved while you're away. Your pet isn't just "looked after" with me. They're cared for the way I'd want mine cared for. I work from home so your pet will always have some company. I can accommodate your special pet care needs and happy to provide whatever you need! I have a gated courtyard and a large grassy garden for your pets to enjoy! Your pet will be welcomed into our loving, caring and secure family cottage.

“Deborah gave Flo the best love, care, and attention- I’m only glad Flo still wanted to come home! Photos, videos & updates were much appreciated. Kobi is a great companion and fun to be with.”

“Phoebe had such a lovely time with Imogen. She loved spending time with Imogen’s two friendly dogs, and the overall environment of her home was safe and friendly. I would highly recommend Imogen, and will look to use her again when needed!”

“Honestly could give Alex 10 stars!! Alex has been absolutely amazing so accommodating to storms routine and needs. Alex’s communication was brilliant, super responsive and constantly sending updates and photos which completely put my mind at ease whilst on holiday. I love how well storm and Bella got on too. Thank you so so much will definitely rebook again in the future 🥰🩵”

“Just the absolute best and we are so so happy to have found Bobbie and Gary! Our pug Eric has had such a brilliant stay- he made it quite clear he didn’t want to come home! He’s had so much fun with making new friends and we’ve loved having photo and video updates of his fun every day. Can’t thank Bobbie and Gary enough!”

“Maria service was excellent! Our dog Bartolo had a blast and received lots of love from her. He certainly enjoyed his stay. Maria sent us lots of pictures and we were very happy to see how good he was being taken care of. We would definitely be using her service again and would highly recommend her!”

“Julia was wonderful with our 10-year-old cavapoo, Olly. She was kind, gave him plenty of walks and cuddles, and it was clear he really loved spending time with her. We felt completely at ease knowing he was so well cared for.”

“Emily was excellent, great communication sending us photos and updates. She really put us at ease about leaving our dog for the first time with a sitter. We will definitely be using Emily again and lola loved her time there.”

“Dane and his partner clearly love dogs and are very experienced at looking after them. Communication was very good and Dane sent me photos of my dog every day, and she'd clearly had lots of walks and good times. Highly recommended.”

“Megan has been wonderful for our Cooper! He has been well looked after for the weekend, with lots of outdoor time. Megan even sent us pics and videos to show us he was comfortable there. Wonderful boarder - will book again.”

“We met Emma and her dog Harry before our stay and went for a walk and then we arranged a morning stay before our overnight visit. Holly settled well and fitted in with Harry and seemed very happy. Emma kept us in contact do that we could see her progress which was brilliant . I would use Emma again .”

“This was Baileys 7th or 8th stay with Martine and Alex. As always we couldn’t have been happier knowing Bailey was in their extremely capable (and loving) hands. Martine is always great with communication and send lots of photos and updates which we love. It’s obvious they treat Bailey with so much love and care, as she is always excited when she realises where she is and quickly makes herself at home. On this occasion we had a last minute unavoidable change in our plans. This lead to requesting to extend the booking and although Martine and Alex had some other bookings in between they went above and beyond to assist in getting Bailey cared for. We couldn’t have been more appreciative as they took one thing off our plate when dealing with a lot of plan changes and organising ourselves. Knowing Bailey was in their hands relieved a lot of stress and worry at a difficult time. I just cannot recommend Martine & Alex highly enough. We often talk about how lucky we are to have found in them, the absolute best match for our Bailey girl.”

About: I was the go-to pet sitter for my neighbour before I moved and now, being out of work and waiting for some surgery, I’m available to expand to others in the area. I have a 2.5 year old Golden Retriever and learnt A LOT training him to be an assistance dog (adolescence tests us all!) I’m out of work for the first time in my life and have a lot of time on my hands! My typical day involves playing with Max first thing, then a walk from 11-12, I get everything I need done while he’s napping during the afternoon, then training or enrichment games before dinner. Grooming and then a last activity before bed. I have an open-plan bungalow with a large fenced garden. I have a paddling pool for the hot days, as well as an aircon unit for the even hotter ones! There are plenty of toys to go around but Max is super social and will play until he falls asleep! I have a large crate, a raised bed, and blankets for rest times but they can also chill on the sofa or out in the garden.
“Heather is a natural dog mummy! We were nervous leaving Briar with her as she had never been left with anyone other than family before. Heather and her family were relaxed and welcoming, their home was perfect for our little dog. We had multiple updates, photos and videos that were reassuring and made our experience so positive. I would highly recommend Heather as a sitter and would definitely leave my furry princess with her again in the future. Our little dog had a fabulous time.”
