About: About me: My rescue Dutch Shepherd passed recently at 14 after 12 years together. He was my family but he had reactivity and towards the end needed a lot of care around illness and dementia. Raising and training him has given me so much love for dogs along with a good amount of experience around dog body language (his and other dogs), training and general situational awareness. I also learned so much about clear requests and firm boundaries while advocating for him. Because of that he was able to have so many human friends and dog besties despite the reactivity. And I've done lots of walks and sits for those doggy friends over the years. I'm not ready to have another dog or cat myself, but I'd love to care for other folks' furry family. Things to be aware of Boarding: I have an elderly cat, so to board at my home, your dog will need to be good with cats. Unless your dog currently lives with cats I'll ask for a meet and greet at my home so that they can meet and I can assess. House sitting: I will accept house sitting visits outside of my set area if it is for multiple nights. There's no effective way to set things up that way on this site so please get in touch. I also can do longer than a week house sits for folks that I have done sits for previously. I work from home part time- Monday to Wednesday with plenty of flexibility around those working days. I can set my hours on those days as needed. And my days off are completely mine to schedule. The owner is always the best resource for how to care for their pet. My first port of call will be to go through questions related to behaviour and care, to make sure that I can meet everything that's needed. Aside from that I'm confident walking dogs of any size. Even if you're happy for your dog to be off lead, I will keep them on lead for the first few walks until I'm confident that they will recall to me consistently. Im happy working with spicy kitties who need extra time to build trust. My home is spacious and has a walled garden. I still have bowls, fountains, scratching posts, toys and crates from my previous pets that I can bring out of storage as needed.

About: I currently help take care of a tuexdo cat, who is so wonderful! She is playful , loves to chase a hair tie around the room for no reason other then she can, but also gives the most amazing cuddles. I ensure she has food, clean out her litter tray and let her have her limited outside time in my fenced off garden ! About: I rescued my first cat when I was about 12. He was born in my back garden then abandoned by his mom. I fed him with an eye dropper, used a warm cloth to mimic his mother's tongue, and kept him safe. He lived to 14! He gave me such a deep love for cats. Ive had so many other cats since then, all rescues - elderly ones, spicy ones. My most recent spicy cat passed in 2025 at 16. She taught me so much about how to build trust with cats as an individual, on their terms, and how rewarding that is, even with the scars I still have from getting it wrong in the early days😅. I have one cat now, a tuxedo cat that is 17 and still going. With all the elderly cat care Ive got lots of experience in giving medication, even for cats that aren't too keen.

About: Dogs have always been a huge part of our lives, and over the years we have owned and cared for a wide range of breeds, including Border Collies, Alsatians, German Shepherds, Spaniels, Labradoodles, and now two wonderful dogs of our own—a 3 year old rescue from Cyprus and a 2 year old German Shorthaired Pointer. We live in a large home with a spacious, fully enclosed and secure garden, giving dogs plenty of room to play safely. Our own dogs are crate trained, so we're happy to accommodate crate-trained dogs if that's part of their normal routine, but it's by no means essential. We'll always follow the routine that your dog is most comfortable with. Exercise is a big part of our day. We walk our dogs three times daily: a lead walk in the morning, another lead walk at lunchtime, and an evening walk by the river where dogs can enjoy some off-lead time if they have reliable recall and you are happy for them to do so. If not, we're equally happy to keep them on the lead. As I work fully remotely, your dog will rarely be left alone and will have company, attention, and supervision throughout the day. We understand how important it is to know your dog is being cared for just as they would be at home, and that's exactly the environment we aim to provide. About: I have two dogs of my own and love caring for them and exercising them. I have trained them both from 8 weeks old and whilst it has had its challenges I persevered and have two well behaved retrievers. I have grown up with dogs and have plenty of experience in training and caring for them. I currently work for the ambulance service and care and treat people. I give them plenty of attention, affection, and playtime, and I’m happy to send regular updates and photos for peace of mind. When pets stay with me, they have access to a secure, fenced garden that’s perfect for safe outdoor time, as well as several nearby parks for walks and play. I’m around throughout the day to keep them company and make sure they get the care and attention they need. I live with my boyfriend who also has a Rover account and is experienced in pet care. I also have a basic DBS.
About: I have taken care of many dogs and other animals over the years since i was 16. I have a terrier mix who is reactive I have helped care for since she was 6 months old, she is now 9. A rescue and my beloved baby. I also recently had my family buy a German Shepard who is currently 10 months old, and consistently help to keep her entertained, many fun walks alongside my Terrier mix and overall just have had the great experience of watching her grow into her personality! I also have a cat who has lived with me for the past 2 years and my sister recently got rats which I also help care for. Back in April 2026 I looked after my uncle's three schnauzer's, one of which was a diabetic and needed insulin ever meal, and also 2 needed medication every day also , so if you have dogs with health needs I am more then able to accommodate that ! And at the end of May 2026, I looked after my aunts dogs, a cockapoo and a crazy but lovable cocker spaniel. Many walks with those two spent mostly getting soaked and throwing a very wet ball. I can work with dog walking any dog of any size, having grown up walking dogs of all sizes all my life. I know about medical routines any dogs may need and can stick to them. Also with dog walking i know how to tire a dog out so they are happy without it being a stressful experience for them. I have no work currently, and if I do get work it'll be part time! Looking after pets is something I really enjoy , and I believe any and all pets should be able to get the care they deserve ! Currently I have no other obligations, so I am free to come look after your pets whenever you need. I am DBS checked and have insurance ! Also have basic pet first aid knowledge and i' on a course for pet sitting and dog walking. Keep to routines the pets know! It can be confusing for a pet to have someone they don't fully know coming out look after them so I know sticking to the routines they are use too is a big way to help them feel more comfortable and safe. Same with if a pet has any medical issues and such, I would stick to routines with that too so they get what they need daily. Ensuring I have my eye on them when walking or if they out in a garden to make sure their safe is something else I ensure I do .

About: I have always grown up with pets. A house isn’t a home without one! I have fostered for a spaniel charity and am always the go to for my friends when they need a pet sitter! Fostering through the spaniel charity taught me so much. From how important nutrition is for animals, to how much a breed can impact a dogs personality and the requirements the dog needs from this. I worked closely with Behavourist’s for one of my foster dogs who has terrible separation anxiety. I am thrilled he now is living a very happy life with a doggy friend and amazing adopted family. I also learnt how to train a crazy springer teenager who was only use to the walls of a crate, and would go mad when he’s outside. He now thrives living by the beach. I miss having a dog and would be thrilled to look after yours so I can fill that gap in my own life! I work remotely, and have availability most Saturdays and Sundays. I have an hour lunch break if your pet needs a visit and walk midday, or I can sit with them whilst I work remotely! I am also available in the evenings on all days. I will ensure the pet has access to clean water, they are fed and have been to the bathroom. I will ensure they are safe (gated garden) and they have mental stimulation in the form of playing and cuddles!

About: I've taken care of dogs since i was a young child. I am happy to deal with all types of dogs and am available for dog walking, sitting and in home visits to feed and let the dogs out. I can also look after cats and have been a cat owner in the past too. I do flexible local delivery so looking after the dog or cat comes first and i can organise deliveries around that. About: Growing up I’ve always been around dogs, from little chihuahua‘s to Great Danes. I frequently dog sit my grandparents yorkie when they go away, and shes old and a little reactive. I can confidently say I can care for any size dog, however if your pup is on the larger side and has reactivity issues Im not the sitter for you as I don’t have the experience or knowledge to safely care for your pup. That’s not to say big dogs are a complete no! As long as they’re friendly I’ll be happy to meet a few fur friend of any size I currently work Friday mornings part time, so plenty of time for your pets needs. Im flexible with how long I can spend with your pet, wether they need to be with me 24/7 (there is an option for them to be able to come to work with me, however it involves a lot of car travel. Please feel free to ask more about this!) or just need some company for an hour whilst your busy I currently have one cat, and shes very low maintenance. About: About me: My rescue Dutch Shepherd passed recently at 14 after 12 years together. He was my family but he had reactivity and towards the end needed a lot of care around illness and dementia. Raising and training him has given me so much love for dogs along with a good amount of experience around dog body language (his and other dogs), training and general situational awareness. I also learned so much about clear requests and firm boundaries while advocating for him. Because of that he was able to have so many human friends and dog besties despite the reactivity. And I've done lots of walks and sits for those doggy friends over the years. I'm not ready to have another dog or cat myself, but I'd love to care for other folks' furry family. Things to be aware of Boarding: I have an elderly cat, so to board at my home, your dog will need to be good with cats. Unless your dog currently lives with cats I'll ask for a meet and greet at my home so that they can meet and I can assess. House sitting: I will accept house sitting visits outside of my set area if it is for multiple nights. There's no effective way to set things up that way on this site so please get in touch. I also can do longer than a week house sits for folks that I have done sits for previously. I work from home part time- Monday to Wednesday with plenty of flexibility around those working days. I can set my hours on those days as needed. And my days off are completely mine to schedule. The owner is always the best resource for how to care for their pet. My first port of call will be to go through questions related to behaviour and care, to make sure that I can meet everything that's needed. Aside from that I'm confident walking dogs of any size. Even if you're happy for your dog to be off lead, I will keep them on lead for the first few walks until I'm confident that they will recall to me consistently. Im happy working with spicy kitties who need extra time to build trust. My home is spacious and has a walled garden. I still have bowls, fountains, scratching posts, toys and crates from my previous pets that I can bring out of storage as needed.
