“Amazing! Zoe and family including the fur babies are great. Very welcoming, Henry loves going here, pulls me all the way to the door. He’s settled great thanks to Zoe being the way she is. Have no qualms leaving Henry here and I was a very nervous, apprehensive first time apart dog mum, so all these fears are gone! Thank you for you and your family welcoming Henry in xxx”

“Christine is a communicative and caring sitter and is more than willing to put in the time that requires our dog, Brian, to learn to trust and become comfortable in her home. Two visits in and he is starting to come downstairs to see what she is up to, which is right on target based on our previous experience!”

“Chloe was very much at home with Caroline. Caroline walked Chloe with her own pet dog - which is great socialisation, her location benefits from some great green open space. Caroline’s dog and Chloe both played very well together and settled into sharing the dog play-room. We’ll be using Caroline’s services again.”

“Our first time leaving our boy but Stacey and her family put me at ease straight away. Was lovely to see how our dog 'Parker' took to her and settled in to her home. Stacey also provided us with plenty of updates and photos so we could see how well he was settling in. Thanks 😊”

“I am very happy with Vishnu. We had information about our puppy every day and we could see that he was very calm and that Vishnu was taking more than good care of him. I recommend him”

“Lexi, our senior dog, is a rescue and doesn't get along well with other dogs. When we found Vicky and had a chat, we knew Lexi would enjoy her stay while we were away. Not only is it a calm environment, she was well looked after, with extra walks, and engagement. Vicky and her partner were very accommodating, adaptable and had an appetite to welcome Lexi into the household in a very encouraging manner to give her the freedom she needed. Communication was good through out and their were daily updates with photos. It's safe to say you can't really go wrong here.”

About: I grew up around dogs and love to walk. Happy to look after both active and subdued dogs, experience looking after chatty Dachshunds to bouncy cocker spaniels. Have looked after dogs from puppy till the later stages, and understand the challenges of both. Dog First Aid Trained. Currently work at home 3 days a week, available for dog sitting, dog walking and drop ins, also available over weekends. Available for early drop off or late collections. Dog and child free home, secure garden and fields near by to walk dogs. I see dogs as part of the family, happy with them on the sofa and on the bed but equally happy to crate or leave to sleep down stairs.
“Andy looked after our dog Lottie overnight and we honestly couldn’t have asked for better care. From the moment we met him, it was clear how kind, trustworthy and genuinely caring he is with animals. Lottie settled immediately and was so happy and relaxed when we collected her. Andy kept us updated, treated her like one of his own, and gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. It’s obvious he truly loves dogs and takes great pride in what he does. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him and will absolutely be using him again in the future. First class in every way!”

About: I've always had a love for animals and can't help but to fall in love with every one that I meet! There's many reasons why you may need someone to help out and I understand the importance of finding (and trusting) the right person to care for your beloved fur babies. All I can say is that I will care for and love your pet(s) like they were my very own. I have a cat myself who has completley changed my life for the PAWsitive and in turn I have taught myself all about how their minds work and what helps them to thrive. Love definitely isn't an issue, but I know there are other important factors - I'm very detailed orientated and organised and will make sure that the care your pet receives falls into what you, as their parent, want and need! Working in a vet has given me knowledge about dogs and cats that I can utilise to maintain a happy, wholesome and most importantly, safe environment! I am home most of the time, so my daily/weekly schedule is very flexible. You let me know what works for you and we can take it from there! I can follow any specific requirements, such as dietary needs, specific times for walks/feeding, health issues and medication etc, so that their routines aren't disrupted and there won't be any issues once you are reunited!
“Absolutely Fantastic!! We have already requested some more dates . Kingsley and Dotti had an amazing time. We’re well cared for and came back really happy . Extremely accommodating!! 5 star service !! Highly recommend!!!!!”

“Olivia was the best. It was the first time leaving Murphy, our slightly nervous rescue so we were understandable a bit nervous. But Olivia looked after him so well, her calm encouraging energy really suited Murphy. She kept us updated during the day which really helped put our minds at easy, would wholeheartedly recommend.”

“Alex and Caitlin looked after our 5yo Std Schnauzer for 10 days or so. On our return she was happy and healthy and full of bounce. We got photos and updates while we were away, and looks like she was v chilled between all the walks. Would def send her to stay with them again.”

“Maisy was fantastic, really friendly and welcoming when we met her, Henry stayed for 10 days, with a short notice change to both start time and extra time at the end, this was no trouble at all for Maisy. Henry had a great time which I could see on my daily updates. He was literally made to feel home from home, lots of great walks, cuddles and allowed to be on the furniture and just be himself. Cannot thank you enough, would not hesitate to recommend you or use you again for Henry. 🩵🐾”

“Lorraine was warm and friendly..a real doggy person. She looked after our boy Rufus really well and was very considerate of him. She kept us up to date with how he was doing and sent us plenty of photos. She looked after him as if he was her own. We would definitely recommend her and use her services again.”

“Watson really enjoyed her stay. Adrienne was so understanding with us as it was the first time we were worried how she would get on. She is Supper caring and made her feel at home. Unless you know Watson she never looks happy and never takes a good photo but the updates we got through the day made us feel so much less anxious as we knew she was settled. Would totally recommend.”

“I was very anxious to leave buddy with anyone else other than family. Hannah put my mind right at ease the family are lovely. Drizzy is beautiful. Buddy had a lovely walk and play time with his new friends. I would 100% recommend Hannah to anyone. Definitely be choosing theses guys again.”

Lisa gives great updates, lots of notes and pictures and communication is always quick and easy. Margot loves Lisa and always has a great time. Would highly recommend Lisa to anyone!”

About: I’ve had dogs and pets in my life since a child. I have two dogs myself that are 7 and 8 years old. I’m happy to crate them at mine if this is what you prefer or happy for them to have a dog bed or sleep on the sofa

“Eve has been a professional from start to finish, punctual and proactive in communication re drop-ins on my two older dogs. Eve's support made my family feel at ease knowing our dogs are in safe hands. Cannot recommend Eve enough and for sure will book further support when will be going away.”

“Oh, where to start… From the moment we met Adrienne and her husband, we felt they were the right people to look after our two cats. We booked home visits, and I can’t explain how happy we are. We received daily updates with pictures, and they played with the boys on every visit. I could tell the boys liked them very much (we all know animals can sense a good person!). This meant we could enjoy our holiday with complete peace of mind. If you’re looking for someone responsible and trustworthy, Adrienne is the one! We feel so lucky and pleased to have met Adrienne and her husband. We know that in the future, when we are away, our boys will be happy and very well looked after.”

“Ella looked after our cat Loulou perfectly. I didn't feel concerned at all leaving him and her updates were detailed and reassuring. We hope to use her again in the future! 😺”

I treat every dog as part of the family and always follow your instructions so your pet feels safe, settled and well cared for. Dog care fits easily around my routine. I work flexibly, so I am available morning, afternoon and evening for walks, feeding, play and company. I am used to sticking to routines and can follow your dog’s usual schedule, including exercise needs, medication and downtime. I am available on weekdays and weekends and can be flexible where needed. Your dog’s safety and comfort always come first. My home is calm, clean and dog friendly, with clear boundaries and supervision. I follow your dog’s routine closely, including feeding, walks and rest time. I keep owners updated so you feel reassured while you are away.
“Stacey and her family were brilliant with Milo. He seemed very happy to go to them and we were so happy with constant updates and contact that we had throughout the day. We would definitely love to go back to Stacey whenever we need help with our fluff ball Milo. Thank you once again Stacey x”

“Jana was an absolute lifesaver! She agreed to look after my dog Kairo at the very last minute and was incredibly easygoing and flexible throughout. Communication was smooth, and I felt completely at ease leaving him in her care. When I picked Kairo up, he was clearly happy and relaxed — a sure sign he had a great day. I'm so grateful for her help and would definitely trust her with Kairo again in the future. Highly recommended!”

About: As a dedicated pet lover and proud owner of a lively Maltese named Luca, I understand the joy and companionship pets bring into our lives. Since welcoming Luca, I’ve discovered the true happiness animals add to my day-to-day life, and I often find myself connecting more with pets than people. Caring for Luca has taught me patience, understanding, and the importance of nurturing a pet's unique personality and needs. This deep connection drives my motivation to become a pet sitter, where I can extend the same level of love and care to other pets as I do with my own. I know how important it is for pet owners to feel confident that their pets are safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for while they’re away. With me, your pets will not only be in trusted hands but will feel like they are a part of my own family. Pet care is woven seamlessly into my week, making it just as essential (and enjoyable) as my morning coffee! Working from home means Luca is my little “coworker” most days, keeping me company and reminding me to take breaks (which usually means playtime or cuddles). Tuesdays and Wednesdays are my "away days," but I've made sure those are full of extra treats, comfy spots, and toys for Luca to enjoy while I'm onsite. On all other days, I’m here to provide all the attention he could want, from belly rubs to outdoor adventures. For other pets I’d be caring for, I bring the same level of attention and love. I work around their schedules, whether it’s feeding time, walks, or just time to snuggle. My daily routine with pets is as fun and flexible as they need, with Luca as the best assistant anyone could ask for! Living in a cozy one-bedroom home with a fenced garden gives me a perfect setup for pet care! The garden is a safe spot where pets can roam freely and explore without any worry. I love that there are parks nearby, so daily walks and a change of scenery are always on the agenda—great for stretching legs and sniffing new scents. Inside, I make the space as welcoming as possible with comfy spots to lounge, plenty of toys, and some tasty treats for rewards or just to brighten their day. With Luca’s stash of toys and our little routines, pets here can enjoy a mix of indoor comfort and outdoor fun, all with a loving companion to keep them company. Whether they’re looking for playtime or just a quiet spot to relax, they’ll feel right at home!
“Anna has made the whole experience of using Rover and a Dog Sitter/ Day Care completely seamless and been absolutely fantastic with Lucky. Anna sent me regular updates and videos too to let me know how Lucky was getting on and what they were up to. I am so glad we met Anna through Rover and would highly recommend her for any other puppy parents! We will definitely be using Anna again soon!”

“Caitlin connected with Ricco straight away and their bond was solid. Very professional and caring. Ricco seemed very happy when he was dropped off and picked up. Thanks Caitlin on responding to our last minute request x”

“Rudy had a lovely time in Christine's care, and we couldn't be more grateful! She made sure to send us regular updates and photos, which was really thoughtful. Would thoroughly recommend!”

“Rebecca has looked after Chester several times now. He has separation anxiety and is quite nervous but is always well looked after and has great fun with Weaver! We never worry when Chester is with Rebecca and would absolutely recommend her.”

About: Hi! I'm a dedicated pet parent and passionate animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats. My journey with animals began when I was little and helping care for my grandparents’ gentle German Shepherd. That early bond sparked a lifelong love for dogs. Before welcoming my own pup, Dandan, into my life, I spent years volunteering to walk and care for neighbors' and friends' dogs whenever they needed help. Over the past 4 years, I've gained valuable training and dog-handling experience, and I've been a proud dog owner myself for the last 2 years. I also cared for my own cat for 5 years, so I understand the needs of both feline and canine companions. As a dog parent, I know how important it is to leave your pet in safe, loving hands. When you’re away, you want someone who will treat your pet like family—giving them attention, comfort, and plenty of playtime. That’s exactly the kind of care I provide. Whether it’s daily walks, boarding, or just some quality cuddle time, I’m here to make sure your furry friend is happy and well cared for while you’re away. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I work from home most days, which gives me the flexibility to provide consistent attention and care throughout the day. I take my dog, Dandan, out for long walks once or twice a day—each walk usually lasts between 1 to 2 hours. I'm able to easily fit additional walks, check-ins, or pet sitting into my schedule and give your pup the time, care, and engagement they deserve. I live in a cozy, good sized 2-bedroom flat that’s clean, pet-friendly, and well-maintained. While the space is great for resting and relaxing, I make sure pets get plenty of activity outdoors. I take my dog out daily for long walks and playtime, and I’ll do the same for yours—tailoring the routine to their energy level and needs. When caring for someone else’s dog, safety is always my top priority. Whether at my home or yours, I keep a close eye on them at all times. During walks, I always use a secure leash and harness—no off-leash unless we're in a fully enclosed, safe area and the owner has given permission.
“Hannah is amazing! Our girl had the best day ever and we were always kept up to date on how she was doing. Our dog can be a bit skeptical in new environments but she looked so relaxed and is exhausted from all the fun!”

About: I recently volunteered in a dog shelter, working with all ranges of dogs, such as puppy’s to senior dogs to dogs that needed extra support. Responsibilities included feeding, walking, playing, cleaning kennels, socialising dogs, and assisting with general welfare needs. This experience strengthened my understanding of canine behaviour, patience, and the importance of providing compassionate, reliable care. I’ve recently returned from travelling and am currently looking for my next role, which means I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of availability throughout the week. Pet sitting fits perfectly into my routine right now, allowing me to give dogs lots of attention, exercise, and companionship while their owners are away. I have a secure fenced garden and live near lots of countryside, so there are plenty of opportunities for walks and outdoor time for dogs that enjoy being active. I provide lots of attention, playtime, and care, while following each pet’s usual feeding, walking, and care routine to help them feel happy and comfortable both in my home and in their owner’s home.
About: I've been a passionate dog owner and caretaker for over 23 years, which includes looking after my own dogs as well as those of family and friends. Over the years, I’ve gained a wealth of experience with dogs of all ages, from playful puppies to more mature seniors. My deep love for dogs means I always treat them like family, ensuring they're comfortable, happy, and well-cared for. I have a flexible full-time work schedule, allowing me to be home all day on the days I'm caring for dogs. I'm available on weekends as well, and your dog will receive plenty of attention, including long, enjoyable walks across the county. I offer a safe and secure environment with a fully fenced garden, stair gates, and a front door guard to ensure your dog is well-protected. Additionally, I have cameras throughout the house for extra peace of mind, and my own dog will be there to keep your dog company and help them feel at ease.

“Sabrina arrived on time to walk my dog Ruby. Ruby was very nervous initially as it was her first time but Sabrina has such a calming nature and makes Ruby feel at ease. We had booked her for a few walks before she takes Ruby for a longer period. Sabrina is a lovely girl and i also feel at ease with leaving Ruby with Sabrina . At the end of the walk Ruby rolled over for a belly Rub. So it went very well.”

“Rebecca has been amazing with our dog Poppy, it’s the first time we’ve trusted anyone in to our home with her; she completely understood her needs and I’ve loved the pupdates. Thank you for looking after her so well and Poppy looks forward to the next time.”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my genuine lifelong love and experience with animals. I grew up with five cats and a Springer Spaniel–Jack Russell cross called Eddie, so I’m very comfortable with pets of all kinds and personalities. My boyfriend and I also regularly take care of our friends’ two dogs — one small and one medium-sized — so I’m used to handling different sizes, temperaments, and routines. I’m patient, reliable, and make sure every pet feels safe, loved, and well looked after while their owners are away. I’ve always dreamed of having my own pet day care, surrounded by lots of happy animals every day. Caring for pets is something that truly brings me joy — it’s not just a job, it’s something I love doing. Whether I’m walking dogs, playing with kittens, or just keeping pets company while their owners are away, I always treat them like my own. Me an my boyfriend work part time so we have some availability for house sitting and pet care. We can easily fit in walks, playtime, and cuddles throughout the day and we make sure they have company, comfort, and attention. When caring for pets in a pet owner’s home, I always follow their normal routine — including feeding times, walks, play, and any special care instructions. I know how important consistency is for animals, so I make sure they feel comfortable and secure while their owners are away. I give them plenty of attention, affection, and playtime, and I’m happy to send regular updates and photos for peace of mind. When pets stay with me, they have access to a secure, fenced garden that’s perfect for safe outdoor time, as well as several nearby parks for walks and play. I’m around throughout the day to keep them company and make sure they get the care and attention they need. I live with my boyfriend who also has a Rover account and is experienced in pet care. I also have a basic DBS.

About: I’m a devoted dog mum to my beautiful 13 year old Chestie (Chihuahua x Westie) called Bon Bon. Doggies are my absolute world. I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life and have over 30 years hands on experience caring for my own dogs and family dogs, from tiny puppies right through to gentle senior companions. I understand that every dog is different, in personality, routine, confidence and care needs, and I take the time to get to know them properly. I’m fully DBS checked and have completed my Canine First Aid training, so your dog will always be in safe, calm and capable hands. I’m especially confident with Puppies – patience, routine building and positive handling. Senior dogs – slower walks, gentle care, comfort, reassurance and medication awareness I treat every dog as if they were my own. From personal experience, I know how important it is to feel completely at ease when leaving your dog with someone, and I promise your dog baby will receive genuine love, attention, cuddles, enrichment and a peaceful, safe environment. Your dog won’t just be looked after… they will be extremely well cared for. 💚 Pet care fits naturally into my daily life and routine, as dogs are already a big part of my world. I structure my days around dog care, walks and companionship, and I’m setting my schedule on Rover to ensure I can give each dog proper, unhurried attention rather than fitting them in around other commitments. During the day I focus on dog walking, drop-ins and companionship, and I also have flexibility for longer sits and regular weekly bookings. I carefully limit how many dogs I take on at one time so every dog receives calm, consistent care, individual walks where needed, and plenty of one to one attention. As I already care for my own senior dog, Bon Bon, my routine is naturally suited to dogs who may need a quieter environment, gentle walks and a relaxed, reassuring presence. Pet care isn’t something I squeeze into my week it is a planned and central part of my everyday routine, allowing me to provide reliable, loving and consistent care for every dog I look after. I provide care in your own home and out on walks, so your dog can stay relaxed in their familiar environment and keep to their normal routine. I always follow your instructions closely, including feeding, walking style, routines, medication if needed, and any training or behaviour guidance. I take time to build trust with each dog, using calm, positive handling and lots of reassurance, especially for nervous or senior dogs. For walks, I tailor them to your dog’s age, energy level and needs, from gentle, sniffy strolls for older dogs to more active walks for younger, energetic pups. Safety is always my priority, and with my Canine First Aid training and full DBS check, you can feel confident your dog is in responsible, capable hands. Although I have dogs of my own, I do not offer care in my home, all services are carried out in your home and on your dog’s usual walking routes, giving them consistent care and attention.
“Had a lovely meet and greet with Ashika! Was very nervous as my dog is a bit of a barker, but quickly settled and allowed Ashika to throw her ball and give her treats, which was a huge success! Ashika was very chatty, friendly and easy to get along with. Can't wait to see how my dog bonds with her over time!”

About: I’ve always loved animals and grew up with pets, but my real hands-on experience began when I rescued my Spanish Greyhound, Luna, in 2020. She came from a difficult start. Found on the streets and never having lived in a home, so building her confidence, routine, and trust has been an incredibly rewarding journey. She’s now a happy, well-adjusted dog and a huge part of my life. Through caring for Luna, I’ve developed a strong understanding of patience, consistency, and reading a dog’s behaviour, especially with more sensitive or nervous dogs. While I’m at the beginning of offering pet care professionally, I regularly look after pets for friends and family, and I genuinely love spending time with animals of all personalities. I know how important it is to feel confident leaving your pet in someone else’s care. It’s not just about walks or feeding, it’s about trust, routine, and making sure they feel safe and happy. That’s exactly what I aim to provide. I’m reliable, attentive, and will always treat your pet as if they were my own. Whether it’s walks, drop-ins, or pet sitting, I’m here to give you peace of mind and your pet the care, attention, and affection they deserve. I currently work full time so the majority of my availability would be in the evenings during the week, I also have availability all day over weekends. I have a fenced garden and have my own dog that is very sociable with others to keep them company on walks. I’m also happy to visit your home and spend time with your animal in their own environment as I know not all dogs are comfortable in new places.

I am also not new to close protection dogs and their specialty needs or exotic house cats such as Bengals and Maine coons. I can be available daily for your dogs needs! “I can’t even express how grateful I am that I found Joshua on this app! Extremely helpful and understanding for our dog’s needs with absolutely no judgments and positive attitude. I was always so sceptical about trusting someone with my furry baby but I no longer have to worry about that. Thank you Joshua!”

“Danielle was amazing from beginning to end. We were on holiday for two weeks and looking for someone to help my parents care for our energetic staffy. Danielle came to meet us all after replying promptly, listened to all the info about Pecan and immediately put myself and my partner at ease. Leaving your dog can be worrying and Pecan can be challenging as she is strong and mostly blind so needs someone who has experience, however we felt quickly confident that she would be in safe hands. Danielle showed not just kindness and confidence towards Pecan but a really knowledgable and professional approach to dog care and training. We had regular updates and lovely fun pictures whilst away, Pecan went on a variety of different walks and my parents said Danielle was always reliable and super professional. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Danielle to anyone looking for a dog walker/sitter and the only disappointment is that we live so far away and can’t make it a more regular situation!”

“I cannot rate Jamie highly enough - he was terrific! My dog was one of his biggest fans and would always get excited for his walks with Jamie. Prompt communication and always arrived when agreed, the process was made so much easy by Jamie's professionalism. I especially appreciated Jamie tailoring the walks to to the weather - as when it was over 30°, Jamie changed the activity to one where my dog would be in shade on a field and not walking or running. Thank you so much for everything Jamie!”

About: Growing up I’ve always been around dogs, from little chihuahua‘s to Great Danes. I frequently dog sit my grandparents yorkie when they go away, and shes old and a little reactive. I can confidently say I can care for any size dog, however if your pup is on the larger side and has reactivity issues Im not the sitter for you as I don’t have the experience or knowledge to safely care for your pup. That’s not to say big dogs are a complete no! As long as they’re friendly I’ll be happy to meet a few fur friend of any size I currently work Friday mornings part time, so plenty of time for your pets needs. Im flexible with how long I can spend with your pet, wether they need to be with me 24/7 (there is an option for them to be able to come to work with me, however it involves a lot of car travel. Please feel free to ask more about this!) or just need some company for an hour whilst your busy I currently have one cat, and shes very low maintenance. I get most of my experience from pet sitting for family members or volunteer work at shelters. I currently am able to pet sit in your own home and drop-ins for any animal, as well as solo walks for dogs (group walks can be discussed if the dogs know each other well or live together!) Your pet will be played with and loved, and above all, cared for

Thanks 😊”

“Alex and Caitlin looked after our 5yo Std Schnauzer for 10 days or so. On our return she was happy and healthy and full of bounce. We got photos and updates while we were away, and looks like she was v chilled between all the walks. Would def send her to stay with them again.”

“Lorraine was warm and friendly..a real doggy person. She looked after our boy Rufus really well and was very considerate of him.

About: I am an experienced, reliable dog lover offering a safe, calm and caring home-from-home for your dog. I’ve had dogs for many years and have experience with a range of breeds, ages and temperaments, including senior dogs. I lost my two elderly dogs last year, and I really miss having dogs around. My home is quiet and well-suited to dogs who prefer a relaxed environment, with my children now 17 and 18. I have a secure garden and live just two minutes from Upton Country Park, so your dog will enjoy plenty of walks and outdoor time. I offer boarding, weekend stays and holiday care, and I’m happy to stick closely to your dog’s usual routine. I’ll also send regular updates and photos so you can relax while you’re away. I treat every dog as if they were my own and aim to give you complete peace of mind. I work locally (Monday–Friday) and am home around 50% of the time. When I’m not home, one or both of my children (17 and 18) are usually in, and they are confident and experienced with dogs, having grown up with them. At weekends, I’m home most of the time, so your dog will have plenty of company, attention, and longer walks. Your dog will have regular company, attention, and access to the garden for toilet breaks throughout the day, and will rarely be left alone. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide a calm, secure home environment with a fully enclosed garden for safe outdoor time. I ensure dogs are settled and comfortable, whether relaxing indoors or enjoying walks nearby. I stick closely to each dog’s usual routine, including feeding, exercise, and any specific needs. I only take a limited number of dogs at one time to ensure each one receives plenty of attention and care. I always check with owners regarding how their dog is with others, and I’m happy to care for dogs separately if they are more comfortable being the only dog. I’m always happy to follow your instructions so your dog feels as at home as possible. I have space for a crate if your dog prefers it for sleeping or relaxing, or large cushions for those who prefer a more open setup.
