Quiet, Loving Care for Happy Pets
I have worked with animals in various settings over the years, such as veterinary, rescues and with service animals. I am confident in my animal handling - as part of my previous experience I have undertaken assessments in administering medications, diet, handling and restraint and general health care. I am also very interested in animal behaviour and have rehabilitated my own cats to be lap cats. I have also worked on behavioural skills with service dogs which included things like recall, food manners and basic commands. Safety, trust & environment
When we meet, I will go through house security with you and emergency numbers. Transparency is key, so if there is anything that you need me to do or not do, please be upfront and I won’t be offended! I have been responsible for up to 40 dogs before at once, so know how to keep my wits about me and what to do in certain emergencies for example if there is a dog fight, how to administer first aid, etc. Depending on dog size, and recall, I might use various harnesses or a longline so they’re not off lead. This will be discussed with you of course for your preference.

There was something about Louisa that I really took to from the moment she stepped into our home. Louisa is warm, friendly, confident, clearly highly intelligent. My girls, Erica (dog), Lucy (Cat) seemed to sense it too as both immediately warmed to her calm energy. My Partner, said the same when he met her. House left exactly as it was, Pets super chilled and happy. We are all delighted to have found her and have already booked her twice for the next couple of trips.

What can I say other than Louisa is 10/10 fantastic. As soon as I met her, I felt completely at ease that I was leaving my babies in the hands of someone kind, trustworthy, and loving. We just got back from a weeks holiday away, and were kept up to date with all their adventures and fun. We have historically been let down with pet sitters, but I wouldn't think twice about booking Louisa again as she is a rare combination of being trustworthy, sensible, and also a lovely person. The pets (and us!) look forward to seeing you again!
Louisa was fantastic with Paco , taking him for regular walks , daily photos so I could see he was ok , she really became part of the family I would say if you want someone to look after your pet while you are away Louisa is your best person to turn to , totally amazing
Louisa was great with our cat, super helpful when we where away and felt very comfortable knowing that our cat was getting lots of attention whilst we where away. 100% would recommend Louisa.
Louisa was lovely, knowledgeable and calm with our 11 week old pup! She stuck to the routine we gave her with some slight tweaks to suit our puppies needs that day which was great (putting her down for naps slightly earlier if overtired etc). Louisa visited beforehand to meet us and Lottie, where she asked great questions about her needs and routine. Definitely recommend!

Schedule
I work from home throughout the week, so I can be around for your pet when needed! I do not work weekends, and finish work at 4pm throughout the week leaving lots of time for cuddles and attention. My work is flexible and I can take breaks throughout the day for walkies and playtime.
