Our elderly Jack/Paterdale cross terrier had a lovely holiday with Yvette and her family. He suffers separation anxiety and needs a tablet every day but Yvette managed all very well and we picked up a happy, well fed and relaxed old pooch after his two weeks holiday. Very happy with his care and the regular updates. Thank you very much x 😊

We had never left our 6 month cavapoo with anyone else before so we were quite nervous but Paul was fantastic! His communication is excellent and we felt really heard during the initial meet and greet so were reassured. Percy is a handful but Paul is obviously great with dogs and just laughed it off. He shared lots of photos and videos throughout the stay so we could see how Percy was getting on. It looked like he was having a wonderful holiday! Percy just wants to spend all his time with people and dogs, so it is the perfect household! He was exhausted when he got back after spending the whole time playing, going for walks and getting cuddles. Paul has looked after Percy again since and Percy was SO excited to go, which is probably the biggest sign that a clingy dog like Percy had a fantastic stay! Happy owners and a happy dog; we would highly recommend Paul!

I have had my own family pets since I was a young child and can look after nearly any pet. I have previously looked after small-holdings which included animals such as Pigs, chickens, horses, goats etc. I am a weekday worker so i do most of this pet care around my full time job so usually update my availability around days off which now tends to be just weekends and bank holidays. Regular walks, toilet breaks. Never left alone for more than 4hours. Meals twice a day morning and evening. Regular stimulants - pre-agreed with dog owner. Arrangement of toys and play if the dog enjoys this.

Valle had his first overnight stay with Hayley & his tail wags as soon as he sees her & didn’t give us a second glance when we left. He became attached to one of her dog toys & she kindly let him have it & bring home. Hayley is really lovely, has a kind, friendly, relaxed aura & we felt totally comfortable leaving Valle in her care, we knew he was being well looked after. She is very fast to respond to messages too. I would highly recommend Hayley

About: Hi, I’m Maria. My husband and I live in Hanwood Park, and together we offer a calm, loving, home-from-home environment where dogs and cats are truly treated as part of the family. I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs of many breeds and personalities — Schnauzers, Cocker Spaniels, Shih Tzus, Boxers, Lhasa Apsos, Weimaraners, and more — as well as cats. Over the years, friends and families have trusted me with their pets again and again, knowing they’ll be loved, understood, and cared for with patience and attention. What matters most to me is that every dog feels safe, relaxed, and emotionally settled while they’re with us. A Home Built on Trust, Not Just Care I know how hard it can be to leave your dog with someone else — they’re family, not “just a pet.” That’s why I’ve always focused on building long-term trust and familiarity with the dogs I care for, rather than quick, one-off stays. Because my husband and I work as a team of two, your dog benefits from: 🐾Constant human presence 🐾Consistent routines 🐾A calm, stable home environment 🐾Never left alone for long periods 🐾Plenty of affection, cuddles, and gentle play 🐾Walks tailored to your dog’s routine and energy level 🐾Access to a garden for fresh air and relaxed time outdoors 🐾Care adapted to your dog’s personality — playful or quiet, young or senior 🐾Regular updates, photos, or videos if you’d like We especially love caring for dogs whose owners are looking for consistency and continuity — a familiar home they can return to whenever you travel, work, or need support. When a dog stays with us, they’re not just being looked after — they’re welcomed into our home and cared for with patience, kindness, and respect. If you’d like to arrange a meet & greet or ask any questions, I’d be very happy to hear from you. We look forward to welcoming your dog My husband and I both work from home, which means your pet will have plenty of company, attention, and supervision throughout the day. We naturally build pet care into our daily routine, including walks, playtime, cuddles, feeding schedules, and quiet rest time. We’re available for boarding during weekdays, weekends, and longer stays, and we always aim to create a calm, loving environment where pets feel safe, relaxed, and part of the family. We provide a calm home environment with a secure garden, consistent routines, and lots of gentle attention and affection. Because there are two of us, pets are never left alone for long periods and always have someone nearby for reassurance and care. We take time to understand each pet’s personality, habits, and needs so they can feel settled, comfortable, and truly at home with us.

Peanut seemed quite happy to stay with Leah. Admittedly, she was distracted with a treat as we sneaked out but she had been for a meet and greet with Leah previously before staying so was already comfortable with her. We received regular photos and updates of how cosy Peanut looked whilst spending the weekend being snuggled and cuddled. She was happy to see us when we collected her and we would happily leave Peanut with Leah again.

About: I’ve had dogs by my side for over 50 years, and in that time I’ve cared for every size, age, and personality you can imagine. I’ve always chosen rescue dogs, never purchased, because I believe every pup deserves a second chance and a loving home. That experience has given me a deep understanding of dogs with unique needs — from the shy and timid to the energetic and mischievous. Over the years I’ve cared for puppies who need patience and consistency, as well as senior dogs who require gentleness, medication, and a slower pace. I know how to read canine body language, build trust, and make sure each dog feels safe, loved, and comfortable. What sets me apart is not just my lifetime of hands-on experience, but my genuine dedication to treating every dog as if they were my own. With me, your pup won’t just be cared for — they’ll be cherished. At home, your dog will also have the company of my sweet 7-year-old Sheltie, Daisy-Mae. She’s a calm, gentle soul who loves companionship and is very comfortable around small and medium-sized dogs. Daisy-Mae is well-mannered, easygoing, and happy to share her space — she makes visiting pups feel right at home. Caring for dogs has always been a natural part of my daily life. Now that I’m retired, I have the time, flexibility, and easy pace of life to give pups my full attention. Walks, playtime, feeding, and cuddle breaks are built right into my day — whether I’m at home or out in the neighborhood. Because I’m experienced and consistent, dogs quickly settle into a comfortable routine with me. Pet care isn’t something I “fit in” — it’s part of who I am and how I live every day. In my home, pets are welcomed as part of the family. I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved with plenty of attention, regular walks, and lots of cuddle time. Dogs are never left alone for long since I’m retired and home most of the day. I keep to their usual feeding, exercise, and bedtime routines so they feel right at home. When I’m caring for pets in an owner’s home, I treat their space with the same respect I do my own. I follow all instructions carefully — from feeding schedules to medication needs — and make sure pets stick to the routine they’re familiar with. Whether in my home or yours, I provide gentle, consistent care so each pet feels secure, happy, and loved.

What a wonderful cat sitter Claudia is. It was such a weight off our minds knowing she was looking after our precious baby while we were away. She reassured us with a visit beforehand and put our minds at rest straight away. Everywhere was immaculate and I loved receiving videos of a contented cat and photos of what she had for meals. A great find.

Isabelle took the trouble to visit us in advance of her caring for our cat Sid, to ensure that she fully understood his routine, and where to find everything. Isabelle sent us daily updates of what she had done, how Sid was doing, plus several photos each day. We felt completely reassured that Sid was in safe hands and being cared for properly. Isabelle left our kitchen and Sid's feed station in a clean and tidy state. We would have no hesitation in booking Isabelle again, and are happy to recommend her to others.

I can’t recommend Gabriella enough, she is incredible! Milo is elderly and arthritic, so it made such a difference having someone with veterinary nursing experience caring for him. She quickly recognised when he was becoming uncomfortable on his walk and adapted immediately by using his pram, which showed such great understanding and compassion for his condition. She also gave me really helpful diet and nutritional advice, and I felt completely reassured knowing that if anything seemed off with Milo, she would recognise it straight away and know exactly what to do. Her knowledge around illness, medication and senior dog care really sets her apart from a standard pet sitter. Milo was so well cared for, I received frequent photos and updates and I’ll definitely be using her again. Highly recommend! ⭐❤️

About: The cat I own I found abandoned by the side of a country lane in the middle of no where when I was driving one day, after spending five days to catch her and take her to the vets there was no available information on her chip and nobody came forward to claim her either. I offered to give her a home and the rest is history. The best part of the story is the road I found her by I was never meant to go down, I took a wrong turn and I’m glad I did.

About: I work during the week but I am available for weekends and offer house sitting with the availability to pop back during my lunchtime to walk. I’m comfortable with small up to big dogs and cats as well ☺️. I love animals, I have grown up with dogs, cats, rat, mouses.. you name it - I've had it! I am unable to have my own pets at the moment so this is the PERFECT way I can spend some time with animals I adore whilst also helping others out. I am a full-time Civil Servant, I also paint, and I enjoy keeping fit. I have a support working background where we had dogs at the home all the time, I miss this a lot and so I’d love to have the opportunity to care for your pet! I can mainly house sit at the weekends but happy to also house sit during the week depending on location! I can walk before, lunchtime, and after work and can equally play with your pup to keep them entertained! I’m not offering boarding where I live but I would happily follow any health and safety instructions at the place I would be staying with your pup!

Carl looked after Conan on 04.12.23 whilst I was away with work. We met up before the day for initial introductions and agreed that he would visit Conan at home several times across the day. He connected well with Conan and was able to give him a morning run and fuss and an afternoon walk and put down his dinner. He sent me photos of the activities across the day. Would recommend as an excellent dog carer and will be using him again.

About: Since the age of 10, my life has been dedicated to animals. Growing up on a farm in Portugal, I was surrounded by the heartbreaking reality of stray animals, which sparked a lifelong mission to help. I couldn't turn a blind eye; I brought home every animal in need—from dogs and cats to injured birds. Eventually, after endless ignored "no more animals after this one" pleas, my parents finally accepted their fate and helped me build dedicated kennels on our farm. Together with the local community, we provided food, medical care, and a safe haven for these animals until we could find them their forever homes. Through these 17 years of rescue work, I didn't just provide care; I studied animal behavior deeply, learning how to communicate with and comfort dogs of all temperaments. Currently, I am the proud parent of two dogs—a Husky and a rescue Collie/Lab—who are my entire world. I know how difficult it is to leave your fur-babies behind, which is why I treat every guest like a member of my own family. When your dog is with me, they can expect: * 🌟 Endless Love & Cuddles: No shortage of affection and sofa time. 🌟 Active Adventures: Frequent walks and play tailored to their energy levels. 🌟 Paddock Time: I live 10 minutes away from a secure paddock where I take my dogs all the time; I'm happy to take yours for a run there too! 🌟 A "Spoilt" Experience: I promise to love and spoil your pups just as much as I do my own. I truly miss the feeling of being surrounded by "fur" and making a difference in an animal's life. I can’t wait to meet your best friend and give them a home-away-from-home experience! I'm currently studying full time from home so your fur baby will never be alone. Walks 3x a day - morning after and evening I go paddocks often especially in good weather and I am happy to take yours along. I offer a safe, loving environment with a fully fenced-in garden for secure playtime. My two friendly dogs provide great company, ensuring your pet never feels lonely. I am experienced with crate training if needed for sleeping or quiet time. Whether in my home or yours, I prioritize a consistent routine, plenty of supervised exercise, and constant attention to keep your fur baby happy and secure.

With their help, your dog will never be bored I am working from home so the pets have constant supervision so they can play safely at all times. I am also available to take them for a walk at least 3 times a day I have a fenced garden so during the boarding your dogs will be safe in and outside the house.

About: I have loved owning pets all my life ranging from Mastiff/St Bernard Dogs to cats/rabbits/guinea pigs to gerbils. Now I only have my tortoise (who is actually older than me). When I worked in another organisation for pet sitting, I enjoyed looking after a variety of 'personalities' as did my two teenage sons. Currently I am not working so am flexible for whatever needs your pet requires, I can also collect your pet if you unable to drop -off. I have a fenced garden and I am only a minute away from lovely walks across the fields/ meadows. Safety of your pet is top priority so will always keep on lead etc.

Glenda is a great dog sitter. She asked to meet beforehand to make sure we were and good fit and asked lots of questions to ensure she had all the information needed. I was sent updates and very cute videos of my dog throughout the day. Glenda is great to communicate with and is very accommodating too. My dog left very happy, full, all played out and well looked after, after spending the day with Glenda and her lovely dog. Couldn’t really ask for anything more!! I will definitely be asking Glenda to look after my boy again! Highly recommend!!

About: I have a dog of my own and would love to care for yours as is it best to have someone who actually cares! Id like to work at a rescue one day, but until then, id like to gain some experience in dog sitting. My dog is a senior so i have some experience with giving oral medication and ear drops. Im also very good with energetic dogs and can provide engaging activities at many points of the day such as exercise. Im currently a six form student, so I have plenty of time to do this as a side hustle, until I leave for summer, I’m available from 2 on Wednesdays and Friday, and the whole weekend I take my dog on daily walks, as well as providing him with medication as he’s a senior. like eardrops teeth care and various spa treatments. His food is perfectly portioned with nutrients and a balanced diet.

About: 🐾Get £15 OFF your first booking!🐾 Use code: GABRID21881 at checkout. I am a qualified veterinary nurse with experience caring for a wide range of animals. My training has given me a strong understanding of animal health, behaviour, and wellbeing. I love providing pets with the care, attention, and reassurance they need. I understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your pets and I always aim to make them feel safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away. I currently work in a kennels where I care for dogs daily, including feeding, exercise, cleaning and making sure they are comfortable and happy. I also volunteered at a veterinary practice before starting university, which gave me early experience working with animals in a professional environment. I have owned dogs and cats my whole life and currently have two dogs and two cats. Buddy is my English Bull Terrier and Coco is my Shar Pei, who is a rescue and can be reactive at times which has given me a lot of experience understanding dog behaviour and working with more challenging personalities. I also have two cats, Cookie and Colin and Cookie is a senior cat with arthritis so I’m very familiar with caring for older pets and managing their comfort. Buddy also has kidney disease, so I understand the importance of specialised diets, medication and monitoring health closely. Because of my own pets and my veterinary nursing training, I’m very confident providing patient, attentive care and making sure every animal feels safe, loved and comfortable. I have also pet sat for friends and always make sure pets receive plenty of love, exercise and routine so they feel safe and happy while their owners are away. I currently work mornings and afternoons at a kennels from 7:30am–12pm and 2pm–5pm, with a two-hour break during the day where I can return to care for pets. I’m available before work, during my lunch break and from 5pm onwards in the evening. I’m happy to follow your dog’s usual routine, including feeding schedules and walks. If needed, I can do a morning walk, a walk during my lunch break and an evening walk. For dogs that enjoy more exercise, I’m also happy to take them to paddocks so they can have a safe run around and burn off energy. On Fridays I work an evening shift at a pub, so I would only be available with your pet from around 5pm–6pm before leaving for work and returning around midnight. Because of this I usually avoid Friday bookings, but I’m happy to discuss it with owners if this schedule still suits their pet. On Saturdays I work at the pub from 12pm–6pm, so I’m available in the morning and again in the evening. I am fully available on Sundays. I currently offer pet care in the owner’s home rather than bringing pets to my own home. I find that many animals feel much more relaxed and comfortable staying in their familiar environment, where they have their usual routine, smells and surroundings. My priority is always making sure pets feel safe, calm and well cared for while their owners are away. As a veterinary nursing student, I am confident handling animals safely and recognising signs of stress or illness. I am experienced in administering medication, following specialised diets and making sure pets receive the care and attention they need. I will always follow the owner’s instructions closely to maintain their pet’s normal routine, including feeding, walks, playtime and rest. I am also very happy to arrange a meet and greet beforehand, such as going for a walk together with the owner and their dog. This allows the pet to get to know me first and helps everyone feel comfortable and confident before any booking.

About: Hello I'm Sophie! When you meet me I am a quiet person but a hard worker and have a great passion for animals and their care. I've owned various pets since very young and I've spent 5 years studying animals at college including exotics, farm, reptiles/amphibians, common pets, insects...etc. I currently own two dogs, two cats and about ten crested geckos. I've done dog walking since I was 16 when I used to take the neighbourhood dogs for walks for whatever they wanted to pay as pocket money for sweets. The courses I've studied are Level 1 - Level 3 Diplomas in Animal Care & Management, and also Level 1 Horse Care. I've also done work experience at dog groomers where I'd wash, brush and dry various dogs ready for grooming, at a couple of pet shops and at a rescue.  Some skills are: I can care for all types of animals including farm, reptiles and exotics. Trustworthy. Has a big passion for animal care, it is my life. Animals are part of the family and so the ones I look after will be treated like part of the family. I hope you will consider me for whatever you need, ask any questions and I'm happy to help! I take last minute bookings and am available 24/7 should you need anything at all. Pet care is my main passion so it is my main focus when doing work so I hope to do this more frequently enough to fill up the year. Walking in various places like the parks and forests around the area and the local farm, playing, tricks, socialising with other dogs, treats, snuggles and attention.

Having pets with health and dietary needs I understand the importance of maintaining routine to ensure their needs are met. I’m currently a student and work part time over the summer so will have plenty of time dedicated to car cuddles and playing with puppies! When house sitting I’ll always ensure your comfortable sending you updates from your fur babies and photos to let you know what they’re up to and how they’re doing. Having two small and delicate breeds of dog I know that safely is vital when handling certain dog breeds and will ensure that your pups are always safe!

Massive thank you to Georgina for dropping in on our 8 month old lab, Cooper, all week and taking him for a lunch time walk! This was the first time Cooper had been left on his own and whilst there were a few hiccups along the way, Georgina showed compassion and patience throughout. We really can't thank her enough for taking care of him throughout the week, even re-arranging a meeting to ensure he wasn't left on his own for too long. It was clear when I met Georgina that Cooper loved his walks with her & I would absolutely use her services again.

About: I’ve taken care of many dogs over the years this includes puppy’s all the way through to seniors, this has been through family and work. I currently have a lovely puppy and an energetic 2 year old vizsla, both of which are very sociable and love to meet other dogs. I am currently working part time in the area nearby but also am able to come home during my work day. I have days off which I spend at home with my own dogs, i am surrounded by fields so walks are often and can be as long or short as needed. Weekends are spent at home relaxing. I have a big fenced back garden which consists of grass and stone. Both of my dogs are crate trained. There are many walks around the area which can be short or long.

About: I’ve had animals since the day I was born, mainly cats however we got a dog about 5 years ago who is absolutely to die for! Since moving away from home I have so much love to give to animals now as I am a long way from mine. I treat all animals like my own and will make sure that they are happy whilst away from you for whatever period of time. I am currently working from home for the majority of the time with a few days in the office. My schedule can be very flexible and catering to what is needed. We can’t have big pets in our house at the moment due to lodgers. However, we do have a small hamster who is treated like royalty and is very spoilt!

Helen looked after both our dogs at short notice, after an initial meeting with the dogs where Helen interacted with both of our dogs and then looked after them a week later Helen communicated with us brilliantly with photos of the dogs on walks and what they were doing in Helen’s house Helen administered our larger dogs medication as he’s just had an operation and also was great as we were waiting for scan results for him and could easily of not looked after them but Helen loved the company and both of our dogs loved the attention We would have no hesitation in recommending Helen or booking again and have already seen about them going back to Helen for when we move property Thanks Helen for doing a brilliant job with them both much appreciated

About: I have been involved in caring for dogs for over 35 yrs as a qualified veterinary nurse, manager of a boarding breeding and rehousing kennels and currently as a dog trainer and with my own dogs. I am confident to support with medication, look after nervous, anxious and even aggressive dogs. I am passionate about puppy foundations and safe exposure to a wide variety of experiences to ensure the best start equipping your dog to have confidence and life skills. Your requirements can be discussed if you do have a young dog or even a dog needing to gain some confidence eg a rehome. I can provide a safe, warm home environment for elderly dogs and can offer them time and my experience to ensure they settle in my home. Your pet can socialise with my dogs if this is beneficial but can also be kept separately if required. I have experience working with guide dogs and assistance dogs. My own dogs have been registered Pets As Therapy dogs and used to help individuals conquer dog phobias. Please get in touch to discuss how I might be able to help. 1:1 training opportunities also available by request. I work part time and can devote part and full days to looking after your pet. Pets can be walked once or twice a day with regular toilet breaks. I have a fully secure garden with direct access to local fields and footpaths for county walks. Dogs can be with my own dogs or kept separately if required. Whichever is more beneficial for your pet. I am happy to use crates but this is not a necessity. Dogs can sleep upstairs if required and are welcome on the sofa.

About: I am a serving Military Working Dog handler, I lead an active life style and love being outside. I have worked with high drive dogs for over 6 years, abroad and in England sometimes deployed in austere conditions so fully understand the care and attention your dogs need and deserve. I currently work full time, however this is only a 5 minute drive away from my home. I can return every 2 hours, expect lots of play and long walks that already fit into an active lifestyle. I have a fenced garden and secure gate and the local area provides great walking routes for social dogs or those that require a quieter route.

About: Hi, we’re Harry & Dale. We’ve both grown up with dogs and, as a couple, cared for two very different personalities: Max, a high-energy Patterdale Terrier, and Molly, a gentle senior Black Labrador. That experience means we’re comfortable adapting care to suit individual dogs - from energetic walks and play to calmer routines, medication awareness, and senior needs. We’re patient, attentive, and good at reading behaviour, routines, and cues, helping dogs settle quickly and feel at home. Harry works from home most weekdays, so dogs are rarely left alone and can enjoy company, supervision, and regular comfort breaks throughout the day. Our routine is flexible, calm, and built around the dog’s usual feeding, walking, and rest schedule. Our home is relaxed, clean, and dog-friendly, with a secure garden for supervised outdoor time. We keep routines clear and consistent, follow owner instructions closely, and only take on dogs we’re confident we can care for safely and attentively. We don’t have children, and visiting family is always considered carefully around any dog in our care. Clear communication, regular updates, and your dog’s comfort and wellbeing always come first.
