About: Hi, I’m Leanne! 🐾 I’m a huge dog lover and a new Rover sitter. I previously had a lovely crossbreed dog with a former partner, but after we separated I no longer had access to him so I’ve definitely been left with a bit of a dog-shaped hole in my life! 🥹 I have dog sat previously for friends and family. I live alone and work from home, so I’d absolutely love the company of a furry friend during the day or overnight. Your dog would get plenty of attention, cuddles, playtime and company rather than being left on their own for hours. I’m close to West Glebe Park, with a smaller park just around the corner too, so there are plenty of opportunities for walks and fresh air. Most importantly, I’d treat your dog like they were my own and make sure they feel safe, comfortable and very well looked after. ❤️ I’m looking forward to meeting lots of lovely dogs (and their humans!) through Rover! 🐶 A typical day with me 🐾 I work from home, so I’m around for most of the day and your dog won’t be left alone for long periods. My working day is fairly flexible, which means there’s plenty of time for attention, cuddles and play breaks between work. I’d start the day with a morning walk, followed by breakfast and some relaxed time at home while I work. Throughout the day there’ll be regular toilet breaks, attention and little play sessions, with another walk later in the day. My evenings are generally relaxed, so there’s plenty more time for cuddles and company. I’m happy to adapt the routine to suit your dog whether they’re full of energy and need lots of exercise or prefer a slower pace with plenty of sofa time! The aim is for them to feel like they’re having a little holiday of their own while you’re away. 🐶❤️ Safety, trust & environment 🐾 Your pet’s safety and wellbeing would always be my top priority. I want them to feel comfortable, relaxed and at home while they’re staying with me. As I work from home, I’ll be around throughout the day to keep an eye on them and make sure they’re happy and settled. I’ll follow their usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding times, walks, medication if required, and any specific instructions you leave for me. I’ll make sure doors, gates and windows are secure, and I’ll always supervise them appropriately when out on walks. I’ll also take the time to get to know their personality, habits and boundaries so I can care for them in a way that suits them. I understand how daunting it can be leaving your pet with someone new, so I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages while they’re in my care, so you know they’re happy, safe and being thoroughly spoiled. ❤️🐶

About: I’ve always house sat or took care of my friends or families pets! Would love to help out whenever to who ever i can !! I’m currently working shift work so there’s some days of the week where i’m not working at all which works out perfect for those who work weekdays and might need a little bit of support! I have a fenced garden which will be safe for fur babies! I also live in a very quiet estate so perfect for getting puppies used to walking outdoors with limited stress! Also a household of people who love animals and are overall quiet so the animals will be showered with love!

The stay was particularly challenging given the recent excessive heat but Paul made sure he was as comfortable as possible. And the wet towel to lie on will be a trick we use at home. About: I am a licenced home boarder based in Kettering and run my own boarding, daycare and dog walking business. I've worked with dogs professionally full-time for 6 months and part time for over a year. I now care for dogs every day and also have a 2 year old miniature labradoodle named Ziggy. He's full of beans but I've put a lot of effort into his training and it's definitely paid off. I've taken an interest in dog training and although I'm by no means an expert, I do understand dogs behaviours and body language well. I think I want to pursue this as a career in the future but looking to get as much care experience in as possible. Being a dog owner myself I know what it's like to want the best for them. About: I’ve been involved with animals ever since I can remember! From owning 3 horses and 2 beloved rescue dogs! I know how to adapt and change to each animal understanding not all of them are the same. I am also a qualified nurse so from my animal experience and nursing experience I’ve learnt how to communicate with both owner and animal. I work as an nurse as hoc and have enjoyed taking a break from the hospital!! And I have a wide range of availability and will most likely be free! I can communicate effectively with you the owner to understand where your pet is allowed. From owning two rescue dogs I’m also aware of certain dogs being afraid or aggressive to other dogs so I would walk on other side of the path to keep dogs away. I have had a huge experience around poorly pets- My current rescue has to have regular medication including injections and eye drops, I have also had experience with strokes amongst dogs and post operative care. My being a vet has enabled me to pick up critical information for dealing with emergency’s and the general health and well being of animals. I am also aware that dogs love company and like other dogs so I’m suited to all pet needs. I also give great cuddles and I seem to have a good track record with pets and they seem to always want more! I have plenty of time to play with your pups or cats due to being a newly graduate from university. I am available weekdays, weekends and all times of the day. I will ensure your dog remains in eye contact to make sure there’s no escapes. My sister is a qualified vet and my experience and knowledge of emergency care has grown from her. I will have your vets contact number in my phone before any visit/sitting.
