About: I have been around animals all my life and was lucky enough to grow up with dogs, cats, horses, rabbits and hamsters- to name a few. I am a very loving, relaxed and laidback pet owner and love being around animals. I happily share my sofa and bed with my pets, so if that is something your dog would like, they would feel right at home when staying with me. My dog Oscar is a friendly and playful British bulldog and I also have 2 x 10 year old cats so any dog visiting would have friends to play with. I also have experience looking after puppies as well as older dogs. I work 4 long day a week but am free over the weekends to look after your dog. I generally walk Oscar once a day for an hour but sometimes he gets an additional half hour walk as well so can easily offer this for your dog. I have a large enclosed garden and space in the house to keep any dog separate from Oscar at nighttime if needed. There is also space for a crate if you prefer your dog to sleep in a crate.
“Tereza was a brilliant host for our dog Rossi. She is super-calm and immediately won over Rossi. She was great with communications and sent loads of photos. 100% recommended!”

“I can't thank Amanda enough for looking after our baby muddles,I was so relieved knowing that Amanda and her family were having fun with our baby and I could tell that muddles enjoyed every minute of his stay,I had multiple daily updates of muddles having fun and doing everything that he does at home so that is huge .I would recommend Amanda a 💯 and I will definitely use her help again .Thank you Amanda”

“Five stars isn't enough for Sotiria! She took care of our dog, Bandit, during the bank holiday, and she was absolutely brilliant. Professional, caring, and Bandit clearly adored her. Kept us well updated and sent lots of cute pictures as well! We're so grateful and will definitely be using her again!”

“Julia was absolutely amazing with Safia ❤️ From the very beginning, she was caring, attentive, communicative, and incredibly thoughtful. She kept me updated throughout the stay with detailed messages about walks, food, water, playtime, and how Safia was doing emotionally, which gave me so much peace of mind, and the most thorough report about her day. She even washed and dried Safia’s blanket after a little accident without hesitation, such a kind gesture that truly shows how much she cares! Safia clearly felt comfortable and loved with Julia and her family, and it made me so happy to hear how well she got along with everyone 😊 I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better person. I would trust Julia again without a second thought and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable, warm, patient, and genuinely loving with dogs. Thank you again for taking such wonderful care of Safia 🐾”

About: I've looked after animals my entire life. I come from a family full of different kind of animals so I care for them very well. I’m available at any time during the week and weekends so I have plenty of time to look after your fury friends! Just let me know when suits you best :) I will be walking your dogs so I will ensure that I will keep a bottle of water on me at all times and a small bowl so they can drink. I will also make sure that I carry some treats with me too and a dog toy so they can play!
“I’m very grateful for Aleksandra’s service. This is the first time using a boarding service as I needed someone to look after my cat and I’m grateful she looked after my cat. In the end, Shaka became close to her cat Richard! Im very grateful for all the updates and I was able to collect him successfully. I would definitely use her service again next if needed.”

“I do not have to words to explain how fantastic Ivana, Andrew and Michela are, they are just such a wonderful, loving and caring family who looked after our 2 year old work cocking Marley for 4days/3 nights. From the initial meet and greet I was completely put at ease and knew I had found the perfect family to look after our fur baby. They treated Marley like part of the family and gave him lots of snuggles and fuss. Ivana’s communication was excellence and she regularly sent me messages, photos and videos each day. Marley had a fantastic little break and loved his stay. I am already planning for Marley’s next stay with Ivana and her family and plan to repeatable book with her, I feel so thankful to have found her on Rover.”

“Just picked Nellie up after a weekend with Lewis. Love the home from home environment where she was well cared for and was sent updates and photos of her stay. Would definitely recommend Lewis. Thank you so much for looking after her 🐕😊”

“We had a great experience with Maria taking care of our potato, Rupert. She was responsible, communicative, and very loving toward him. It was clear that Rupert felt comfortable and happy with her. Maria gave us great peace of mind while we were away, and we would absolutely trust her again in the future.”

About: I live with 2 British shorthair (boys) and 1 Schnauzer (girl). And I have real, hands on dog care experience, including raising my own Schnauzer. I am comfortable with both the practical side of dog care and the emotional side, meaning I can handle routines properly while also making sure your dog and cat feels safe, engaged, and relaxed. I am reliable with timings, careful with doors and leads, and I give clear updates. You can expect a sitter who treats your dog and cat like a loved family member❤️ I’m a PhD student and I work from home almost full time. That means I am around for consistent routines, timely feeding, regular toilet breaks, and the kind of steady company that many pets prefer. I am not rushing in and out around a long office day, and I can adapt my day to a pet’s normal rhythm rather than forcing them to adapt to mine. I live in a one bedroom flat and I take home safety and hygiene seriously. I currently have two cats at home and one dog. My dog also spends time with my boyfriend in Birmingham sometimes, so I am very used to adjusting routines smoothly and keeping everyone settled and secure. I run my home in a calm, structured way. Doors and windows are always checked, food is stored safely, and I keep pet areas organised so there is no chaos around bowls, litter, or toys. I am careful about separating spaces when needed, supervising introductions, and making sure every pet has a comfortable place to rest without being bothered. Cleanliness is non negotiable for me. Even with pets in the flat, it stays clean and tidy all the time. I have a consistent routine for litter trays, floor cleaning, wiping surfaces, washing bowls, and keeping fur under control. My cleaner is genuinely impressed every time she comes, which I consider a very serious compliment. Most importantly, I treat trust as something you earn. I follow instructions closely, I do not take risks, and I keep owners updated clearly. Your pet will be cared for in a safe, calm, and well managed home.
“We can’t thank or praise Rob and Hayley enough for the loving and dedicated care given to Molly and Murphy last week, who clearly enjoyed their 2nd stay, this time for 8 nights. We have no hesitation in recommending them.”

Oadby dog owners share their Rover experiences
Sophie has looked after Zelda for us before and we didn't hesitate in asking Sophie to look after her again. Sophie kept us well updated, with lots of great photos, and has cared for Zelda brilliantly - taking her for lots of walks, to a dog park and lots of other great things to do. We wouldn't ask anybody else to care for Zelda now! Thank you.

Ellie did a wonderful job of looking after our anxious border collie, who comes back from kennels with no bark and upset tummy. Dottie had a great time and was so relaxed when we picked her up after 3 nights after being welcomed into Ellie’s home. All needs were met and met well -especially as there were fireworks every single day. Ellie’s own dog is also a joy, and welcoming to other dogs. Will most definitely ask Ellie to look after our dog again.
