Licensed Dog Boarder 🐶 🐾

I've loved and looked after dogs of all shapes, sizes, and behaviours - from golden retrievers and westies to labradors and lurchers. Some have been totally relaxed and others have had their reactivities, so I'm super aware that each dog is unique with their needs and nuances. I currently have a beautiful lurcher who adores all dogs (she had puppies in a past life and has the patience of a saint) so I'm always on alert for squirrels and cats, and can tailor our walks accordingly. I previously had a senior cat for a long time so know the anxiety of having someone else look after your old baby - they'll be pampered here. No one can love your dog like you can, but I'll certainly give it a good go! 🥰🐶

Elly was absolutely brilliant with my greyhound Nev- he had such a good time with Dolly and friends that he was reluctant to leave when I came to pick him up!! I received regular updates throughout and would absolutely book Nev in with Elly again!

I honestly can’t thank Elly enough for taking such amazing care of Albert. He’s a Border Collie x Lab and quite a nervous dog, and this was the first time he’s ever been left away from me, so I was really anxious about it. Elly was absolutely brilliant from start to finish – so patient, kind and understanding with him. I got regular updates and photos which really put my mind at ease, and it was clear Albert was in safe hands. When I picked him up after Monday to Friday, he was happy, settled and comfortable, which says everything. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Elly to anyone, especially if you have a nervous dog. I’ll definitely be booking again!

Ellie did a wonderful job of looking after our anxious border collie, who comes back from kennels with no bark and upset tummy. Dottie had a great time and was so relaxed when we picked her up after 3 nights after being welcomed into Ellie’s home. All needs were met and met well -especially as there were fireworks every single day. Ellie’s own dog is also a joy, and welcoming to other dogs. Will most definitely ask Ellie to look after our dog again.

I currently work from home full-time so am available all day in the working week for boarding (sleepovers) and doggy daycare, as well as drop-in visits and dog walking in the evening. I'm hoping to expand this soon to include drop-in visits and dog walking during the working day. Happy to be flexible for weekend services 😊

Safety, trust & environment

I live in a 3-bed semi detached house so there's plenty of room for a few extra pooches. We have a fully fenced garden with a lawn and some fun hedge-y nooks to have a snuffle in. I'm not precious about the furniture and dogs are always welcome to snooze in comfort (if you would prefer they didn't, very happy to maintain these rules and encourage crates or beds - whatever you prefer). We have a dog crate setup that our dog rarely uses, so you wouldn't necessarily need to bring your own. Please bring all food, medication, toys, and blankets so they feel as at-home as possible.

Pets

A typical day

They'll have plenty of time to snooze and bask in the sunshine (weather-permitting), as well as access to the garden (lawn and hedgy-areas to sniff around in). I often make interesting licky mats and treat mazes/snuffle mats for my own dog so can do the same if you're happy for me to. We'll venture out for a walk to the local parks or maybe even a secure dog field (if they're happy in cars). Plus - of course - lots of cuddles and another dog to play with 😊
