About: I genuinely treat every pet like family—caring for them with love, patience, and attention to detail. I’m comfortable caring for senior pets, and keeping up with energetic puppies. I take the time to understand each pet’s routine and personality, ensuring they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. You can count on me for regular updates, photos, and peace of mind! I work as a researcher during the day at the University of Leicester, and since I live on my own, pet sitting is a wonderful way for me to enjoy companionship during the evenings and weekends. I genuinely love spending time with animals—it’s relaxing, rewarding, and brings a sense of balance to my routine. I’m also currently raising funds for a medical mission trip to Uganda, so pet sitting allows me to contribute to a meaningful cause while doing something I truly enjoy. Your pet will be in caring, responsible hands, and you’ll be supporting a good cause too! Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or at the owner’s home, my approach is always the same: make them feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I stick closely to their usual routines for feeding, walks, playtime, and rest to reduce any stress or anxiety. I give each pet plenty of attention and make sure their space is clean and cozy. If I’m in the owner’s home, I treat it with the utmost respect—keeping everything tidy and sending regular updates with photos, so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and well cared for. Their wellbeing is always my top priority.

About: I’ve had cats all throughout my life, including my current ginger Terry, each has been different and all have taught me to understand their behavioural and husbandry needs whether it be space or attention, respect or responsiveness. My dissertation was a look at Feline behaviour in outdoor and indoor cats, I’m always learning more about these amazing animals. I have had feral cats and kittens, trained and nurtured them to trust and feel safe, along with elderly cats with disabilities such as my previous cat Felix who was deaf.

“I could not have been more impressed with Dimitra and her family. We were in need of some last minute care for our dog, Albus, in a county that we dont live in because of a family funeral. He had never stayed with anyone other than family before so we were slightly nervous about it but Dimitra made us feel so at ease with the whole situation and ensured that Albus had a really positive experience. The whole process was easy and we got updates to keep us informed how he was doing throughout the day. The family was so warm and kind with Albus and very professional with us which gave us 100% confidence that he would be well cared for when we left him for the day. I honestly wish we lived closer so that we could use these guys on a more regular basis - an amazing service and we can't thank them enough. It meant so much that we didn't have to worry about him on an already difficult day for us.”

About: I am very patient and attentive to the animals in my care and very protective towards them. I treat them like I treat my own dog. I am retired and am at home all the time. I am available every day of the week but would need 3 days' notice. I am quite flexible with my time. My garden is fully enclosed and safe from any dangers like the wrong plants or chemicals. The nearest park to me is a very secluded and safe place.
“Steven has been very reassuring and has put our minds at ease. He gave us regular updates with photos throughout the day without asking. Winnie had a wonderful time considering it was a new environment for her. Could not reccomend Steven enough for his professional and friendly service ☺️”

Thank you for taking such good care of my Amba.”

About: I’m a caring, trustworthy and patient pet sitter with experience caring for puppies, senior dogs and post-operative dogs who need extra attention and gentle support. I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine and needs, so I always take the time to help them feel safe, comfortable and relaxed while in my care. I provide a calm, clean and loving home environment where dogs receive plenty of attention, affection, exercise and supervision throughout the day. Dogs are never left alone for long periods maximum 2-3hrs only when necessary and I make sure they have regular toilet breaks, playtime, walks and rest based on their individual routine and energy levels. I’m confident caring for energetic puppies who need patience and structure, as well as senior or recovering dogs who may require a slower pace, medication support, or extra comfort. I carefully follow all owner instructions to maintain routines and ensure pets feel settled and secure. Safety is always my top priority. Although I do not have a fully fenced yard, all outdoor time and walks are closely supervised, and dogs are always kept safely on leash when outside. I also carefully manage introductions and interactions if caring for multiple dogs at once to ensure every pet feels comfortable and safe. It is really rare that I will look after multiple dogs at once as I do prefer to look after one dog so I can provide him a safe place and comfort, unless it's from the same household. I know how important communication is when you’re away from your pet, so I provide regular updates, photos, and messages to give owners peace of mind throughout the stay. In the event of any emergency or concern, I would contact the owner immediately and seek veterinary care if needed. I am currently undertaking a first aid course for dogs. For safety reasons, I only accept vaccinated pets into my home. I treat every dog as if they were my own and always aim to give them the love, care and attention they deserve. As a student with a flexible schedule, I have plenty of time to spend with the pets I look after. I understand how important routine, attention, and patience are when it comes to animal care. Each pet is unique, and I always do my best to understand their personality and needs so they feel safe, comfortable, and at ease in my care. I care for pets in my home in a safe, calm, and loving environment. I live in an apartment with access to a large, secure fenced garden where dogs can enjoy supervised play and exercise off lead, but only with the owner's permission. I understand that every pet has their own routine, so I always follow the owner's instructions for feeding, walks, sleep, and any special requirements. Throughout their stay, pets receive plenty of attention, cuddles, playtime, and regular exercise to help them feel comfortable and at home. I'll also keep owners updated with photos and messages so they can have peace of mind while they're away.
“Carina was absolute brilliant with Artie, so flexible of his specific needs (he is very anxious and scared around other dogs) and helped to facilitate a really positive meeting between him and Mocha, who he now seems to be really relaxed around. She was really attentive and kept me well updated with photos (Artie particularly enjoyed the air-conditioning during the heatwave). Genuinely feel really lucky to have found someone so understanding and supportive of Artie's complications. Cannot thank her enough for making the whole experience so easy and making my first experience leaving Artie with a dog sitter such a positive one.”

“Absolutely amazing couple. Communicated with me throughout the day, sent lots of photos and videos. Welcomed Lulu into their home Asif she was their own. And also took her to an enclosed park so she was nice and tired for when I picked her up. Will 100% book again if needed. Thank you so much for taking care of Lulu 🥰”

“Couldn’t fault Alexandros, took Lulu on so last minute, she’s also in season and was wearing a nappy so she didn’t bleed all over the house and he took it off so she was more comfortable. Gave me constant updates throughout the day! Will book again”

“Sotiria is amazing! She is so kind and treats our little Archie with such care. She picked him up and took him to her place when we were away and was available on short notice when something unexpected came up. Archie adores her and she feeds him and sends lots of updates and pics. 5 stars :)”

“Amazing dog sitter. Martina has taken care of my puppy Lester. He is very comfortable around her & he’s looks happy & content from the pictures & videos she has sent during his stay with her. I highly recommend.”
About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was 10. Family and friends have always relied on me to check up on them and give them the care they need! I’m available at any time during the week and weekends so I have plenty of time to look after your fury friends! Just let me know when suits you best :) I provide attentive, reliable, and compassionate care tailored to each pet’s individual needs. In my home, pets have a clean, safe, and comfortable environment with plenty of supervision, exercise, playtime, and affection. I follow the owner’s routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, medication (if required), and any special care instructions to help pets feel relaxed and secure. When caring for pets in a pet owner’s home, I respect their home and maintain the pet’s normal routine to minimise stress. I ensure fresh water is always available, provide regular exercise and enrichment, clean up after pets, and keep owners updated with messages and photos for peace of mind. I pay close attention to each pet’s behaviour and wellbeing and would promptly contact the owner or a veterinarian if I noticed any signs of illness or an emergency. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, loved, and well cared for while their owner is away.
“It was Buddy's first time with Sonia (and Bailey) and he was completely at home from the moment he arrived. Sonia sent updates and photos throughout the day so I could see Buddy was really settled and having fun. I would definitely recommend Sonia and we have already rebooked for a day next month.”

About: Hi, I’m a lifelong dog person with decades of experience caring for dogs of every kind. Young, old, shy, lively, and everything in between. Dogs have always been part of my life, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. There’s a particular magic in winning over a nervous dog. The shy ones who hang back at the door, the ones who supposedly never take treats from strangers. Somehow they always come round here. A little patience, a calm voice, and before long they’re taking chicken from my hand and curling up like they’ve lived here for years. My first dog was a Bearded Collie named Popeye, my childhood best friend. One day, on the way to the groomer, I found a Saint Bernard abandoned outside the pet shop. I brought him home on the spot. That moment taught me how deeply dogs trust us, and how much they need us when they’ve got no one else. Years later, when my daughter was small, we took in a little 松鼠狗 (Pekingese mix) who’d also been abandoned. She slipped into the family at once. My daughter’s first dog, and another reminder that dogs always find their way to us when we’re meant to help them. Today I share my home with Bella, a rare chocolate and cream long-haired miniature dachshund. She’s an elegant, classy lady, gentle and sociable, and a wonderfully protective big sister to every dog who comes to stay. Alongside her is Popeye, now one year old and a long-haired miniature dachshund too. Yes, the same name as my very first dog, which feels beautifully full circle. He’s grown into a real gentleman, calm and welcoming, and he takes any new dog under his wing. Ours is a peaceful home with a secure garden for safe outdoor time. I only take a small number of dogs at once, so every pup gets one-on-one care and proper affection. Whether your dog needs a little extra patience, medication, enrichment, or simply a comfy spot to relax, they’ll have it here. Dogs in our care are treated like family. They’ll find a calm, loving environment where they can feel safe, settled, and genuinely cared for. This isn’t just dog sitting. It’s a second home. Pet care is a natural part of our daily life—this is a dog-loving home through and through! I’m always home, and my daughter also works from home full-time, so your dog will never be left alone. Between the two of us, there’s always someone around to give attention, supervision, walks, playtime in our secure garden, and plenty of cuddles. Caring for dogs isn’t just something we do—it’s woven into our everyday life. Whether it’s sticking to feeding routines, giving medication, or just relaxing together on the sofa, your pup will be treated like part of the family. In our home, your dog will be treated like one of the family. We have a secure, dog-friendly garden for safe outdoor play and toilet breaks throughout the day. Just a short walk from our doorstep, we’re lucky to have access to lovely parks, peaceful walkways, and open fields—perfect for daily walks, fresh air, and sniffing adventures. We maintain a calm, clean environment, and follow your dog’s routines closely—whether that’s meal times, medication, or preferred sleeping spots. We also make sure each dog gets plenty of affection, one-on-one attention, and quiet time when needed. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness are always our top priority.
About: We have always had dogs. I love taking care of them (and if I could I would have 100)! Whether it’s energetic pups who love long walks, senior dogs who need a gentler pace, or shy pets who require patience and reassurance, I adapt my care to each dog’s unique needs. I understand the importance of trust when it comes to your furry family member, so I treat every pet as if they were my own. I am currently working full-time so my flexibility is limited through week days. However I am fully flexible on weekends and more than happy to take care of any furry angels! I live by myself in a flat which is spacious enough for small and medium dogs. We have a backyard where the dog can play and I love taking the dogs on walks. No one will be involved in dogs’ care but me.
“Steve was fantastic with our puppy Hugo. We needed someone fairly close by and able to take a puppy, as he’s too young for kennels. Steve was really friendly and has an obvious love for animals. He kept us updated throughout the day and whatsapped some great videos. Thanks Steve, will use you again in the future!”

About: I have always cared for pets at my home from dogs to cats, stick insects to gerbils, you name it! And my passion for animal care led me to completing my BSc Animal Science (Pet Behaviour and Welfare) degree at university for four years. I have the practical and theory skills to handle all kinds of pet care, including veterinary work and husbandry experience. My pet behaviour pathway at university gave me the opportunity to work for a pet behaviour clinic for a year specialising in dog behaviour and training, so I know the patience and love required to care for and train the most anxious pets. It can take time to build trust and my policy is always to do so with a gentle hand and maybe a treat or two! I'm currently working part time so have a flexible schedule for your pets' care including weekend stays, day visits, walks, feeding and more. I’m happy to stay for longer/ overnight visits so you don’t have to worry for your pets while you’re on holiday. I'm very happy to take instructions from you on what care you believe your pets require or anything you wish to request of me during my time with them. Whether this means using crates or not, treats, outdoor time...etc.

“Emily was a great help to us in walking our dog Hamish. She is personable, punctual and Hamish loved his walks with her. I would recommend her to anyone looking for some support with their dog.”

About: I’ve had my dog, a Jack Russell, for 6 years & have built on very strong & close relationship with her. I’ve looked after friend’s dogs in my house & would like to have opportunities for my dog to have other dogs playing with at home. There is local parks nearby that I take my dog for walks everyday & im happy to have a small/medium well-behaved dog for boarding or for walking. My dog is small, and very good with ppl & other dogs. I work from home mostly. I take my dog for one walk in the afternoon, but can do two walks if your dog requires that. Garden is fenced & plenty of space for the dog to go for toilet & play. I’d prefer if your dog has their own crate to sleep in at night. I don’t keep dogs upstairs as my dog sleeps in her crate in the kitchen. I have a spare crate for small dog if needed.

About: I have experience with dogs through my business Dig&Dog, by helping out family and friends, and through voluntary work abroad. I have taken care of lots of different breeds, sizes and ages and therefore can cater to any needs! I have my own business offering a variety of pet services including house sitting, dog walking & drop in visits. I often house sit overnight and work in the garden in the day, but often have availability for dog walks/drop-ins, especially in the autumn/winter. I have grown up with two cats and surrounded by the dogs and cats of family/friends, meaning I am very comfortable pet sitting and have lots of experience, which creates a relaxed atmosphere for pets to feel safe and most importantly happy!
“The lovely Nadia, and her equally lovely daughter, walked Stan for me this morning, and did such a great job! It was my first time using this app, and she really put me at ease. They popped round to meet Stan the day before (and got on like a house on fire), so he was mega excited to see them again this morning! I'll definitely be hiring Nadia again, and would highly recommend her services! Stanley has 2 new best friends :)”

“Beth was absolutely fabulous with my puppy and, like others have said, the best walker we've found on Rover. Enzo took to her really quickly and she was amazing at keeping us updated during her visit with him with videos and photos. Highly recommend!”

About: Hello everyone! My name is Martina, an italian girl just finished her PhD in Genetics at University of Leicester. I have had a lovely Yorkie for 14 years (Maya, in the pic). She has always had health problems (she underwent three surgeries and was suffering of seizures and food allergy) which means I am well trained to take care of any kind of need your dog might have (I learned how to do injections, clean wounds, give a bath, administrate pills or other medicaments on a daily basis and respecting the time). Since I moved abroad I have missed her a lot. Even though she is not with me anymore I still have a lot of love and care to give and so i thought the best way was to become a pet sitter which not only might help someone in need but would also help me to do one of the things that i love most! I am not going to the lab at the moment as I just submitted my thesis which means I am quite flexible about days and hours. About me, I consider myself a very friendly and easy-going person. In addition I fluently speak Italian, English, Spanish a bit of Arabic. I also have a car. If you think I could be a good temporary companion for your pet, do not hesitate to contact me. :) I have just finished my PhD and I am currently unemployed so I am very flexible and can accommodate all your needs and those of your pet too of course! I live in a residential area with many parks close by to walk the dogs. My flat is small (2 bedrooms flat) but I have a big living room with space for the dog.
About: Hi, I’m Fazila and I adore cats and love to spend time with them. I have a full DBS enhanced certificate as I teach in a local primary school. I have my own transport and I don’t mind travelling to different locations for pick ups and drop off. I also have experience looking after rabbits and small mammals. My priority is to provide safe and loving care to every animal and to provide excellent communication to clients for peace of mind. Duties include feeding, providing fresh water, cleaning litter trays, grooming, socialising, offering regular playtime and showing care and love to pets. I always send regular photos, text updates and follow all instructions left by clients for their fur babies. My recent experience includes boarding a kitten for two nights in my home, boarding a British shorthair cat for three nights, boarding a ragdoll cat for eight nights and providing home visits for many different cats. I believe that a relationship of trust is crucial between a pet owner and caregiver. I ensure that the clients pet is safe and comfortable at all times when I care for them in my own home. I aim to follow the routine set out by pet owners and ensure that their pet has a clean environment, fresh water, food, naps and playtime at the correct time. “It was a great relief leaving Ragnar with Steven, it’s the first time we have left him with anyone who isn’t family but I felt totally at ease. I got regular updates and pics, I would highly recommend him. He looked after our boy like he was their own.”

“There is a reason why Aleksandra has so many good reviews here. She was excellent with my 8-month old Frenchie. At first I was nervous as I booked her last minute due to work commitments and didn’t have enough time to prep her but she was very accommodating and adaptable. Will be booking her again💞”

“Elly was absolutely brilliant with my greyhound Nev- he had such a good time with Dolly and friends that he was reluctant to leave when I came to pick him up!! I received regular updates throughout and would absolutely book Nev in with Elly again!”

“Can't rate Polly highly enough, Billy was looked after and loved. He was happy, we felt that the minute we arrived to pick him up. Thank you so much Polly for looking after and caring for our baby.”

“Milena looked after my dog Kara for a day & night and I couldn’t have asked for better care. She sent me plenty of updates and photos throughout, which gave me real peace of mind. Kara had a wonderful time playing with her dog Sky and her kids, and got lots of cuddles too. Kara is double-coated so struggles in the heat, it was 28 degrees so I was especially impressed that Milena was so thoughtful- she used a cooling blanket and even gave her some frozen blueberries and watermelon to keep Kara comfortable. It’s clear Milena genuinely cares about the animals she looks after. I’d happily leave Kara with her again and would recommend her without hesitation”

“Bethany really looked after our cockapoo well, he was welcomed into their home and we were kept updated with regular pictures. He looked right at home! 💙. I would definitely trust her to look after him again. Thank you.”

“Ria was a fantastic dog sitter for our pooches. She was accommodating, flexible and they clearly loved spending time with her. Ria kept me in the loop with what they were getting up to, with plenty of pictures too. I will absolutely be rebooking with her. Thank you Ria!”

“Chanel responded really quickly and was reassuring, she sent pictures and kept me updated on how it was going. Bara had a great time, and Chanel even took her for a run in the morning so she was nice and tired when she got home.”

“Agnieszka was superb with Coco. Kept me up to date and sent me photos which put my remind at ease. Definitely recommend if you want your furry baby looked after! Will definitely use shin in the future! Thank you 🤩 x”

“Julia was absolutely amazing with Safia ❤️ From the very beginning, she was caring, attentive, communicative, and incredibly thoughtful. She kept me updated throughout the stay with detailed messages about walks, food, water, playtime, and how Safia was doing emotionally, which gave me so much peace of mind, and the most thorough report about her day. She even washed and dried Safia’s blanket after a little accident without hesitation, such a kind gesture that truly shows how much she cares! Safia clearly felt comfortable and loved with Julia and her family, and it made me so happy to hear how well she got along with everyone 😊 I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better person. I would trust Julia again without a second thought and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable, warm, patient, and genuinely loving with dogs. Thank you again for taking such wonderful care of Safia 🐾”

“I can’t recommend Dipali and her husband enough! They were absolute lifesavers when our original dog sitter canceled on us last minute, just before our holiday to Morocco. Despite never having met us or Pablo before, they kindly agreed to take him in without a meet-and-greet, and at such short notice. From the moment my brother dropped Pablo off on Friday evening until we picked him up on Tuesday, Dipali and her husband provided the most loving and attentive care. They kept me updated with regular photos and messages, which gave me total peace of mind while we were away. It was clear that Pablo felt completely at home—he was so happy and comfortable that he’s actually crying the front door wanting to go back! Dipali and her husband truly have a passion for dogs, and their kindness and dedication shine through in the way they care for them. I’m beyond grateful for their help and will definitely be booking with them again. Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of Pablo!xx”
