About: I am a registered veterinary nurse with 6 years of experience, including 4 years serving as a veterinary nurse in the army. During this time, I worked with a wide range of dogs, including large and high-energy working dogs, giving me strong handling skills and confidence in different environments. I have experience administering medication and providing care at all stages of a dog’s life—from young puppies through to senior dogs with more complex needs. I am also trained in canine first aid, so your dog’s health and safety are always a top priority while in my care. I’m available for boarding, please contact for availability. Your pet will never be left for more than a couple of hours, so your pet will have plenty of attention and care Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I have a fully secure garden with a 6ft fence, providing a safe outdoor space for play and exercise. I also have two friendly dogs at home who are well-socialised. However, I understand that every pet is different, so I’m able to keep them separated if needed to ensure your pet feels relaxed and secure at all times. I aim to provide a calm, caring environment where your pet can feel at home while you’re away 🐾
“Amazing as always, thanks for always loving him like your own. Thor loves coming to stay and I love knowing while we’re away having a good time he’s having the best time, too, at his home away from home. He can’t wait to come back soon🥰”

“After dropping Latrell off I received regular updates and photos from Paige which really put my mind at ease and it was clear Latrell was happy and having lots of fun with her and her extremely cute cockapoos Malibu and Cleo. When I picked Latrell up he was relaxed and in no rush to leave which was great to see. I’m very grateful for the updates and attention Paige gave to Latrell throughout his stay. I will defiantly book again when I needs someone to look after him and I would highly recommend Paige to anyone looking for someone that they can trust to look after there dog like there own.”

“We could not recommend Abbie highly enough. We have two little dogs, one of which is not dog friendly. We were a week and a half away from going abroad for our wedding and were truly concerned we weren’t going to find anyone willing to take on our little handful but Abbie was so kind, took time out of her day to meet with us twice to ensure her dog and our dogs were fine, and then cared for our dogs as if they were her own. She send lovely videos and photos from their adventures on walks and sunset bbq’s and Bo came back happy that he hadn’t just made friends with Abbie’s little dog Bumble, but two large hound pups that I would never have believe Bo would tolerate. She saved our bacon and we are so happy we have her now for future holidays when we need the dogs to have a home from home x”

“I couldn’t have found a better board for Loki. From our meet and greet until I collected him I knew Kate was such a lovely carer for him. He was so loved and looked after and the regular updates were so reassuring that he was having the best time! It can be daunting to leave a loved doggie but Kate made us both feel so welcome and Loki was made to feel like one of the family. I hope I can find another opportunity for Loki to visit Kate and her lovely family xx”

“Alice was amazing! We had never left our dog before and she gave me all the reassurance I needed. We did a pre visit which was lovely and Alice kept us up to date with as much information as we wanted. He came back looking super shiny in his coat and was fully worn out from playing outside. We could not be happier with the care Alice gave.”

“Hunny had a great time with Lottie over the weekend. They went on nice long walks and she came back very worn out 😅. She was very quick to reply to messages. I would have liked more photos/communication during her stay but also I didn't ask! Over all happy and would book again :)”

“It was my first time using the app and I couldn’t be happier. I had lots of updates and was able to relax and felt they were really having the best time. Elizabeth and family welcomed my goblins and were perfect.”

“Amber is missing Wilf! Thank you Graham, Amber had a lovely stay with you and so pleased that Amber and Wilf have become besties! The photo's and updates were brilliant, especially as Amber has not had very good previous boarding experiences from so called "local licenced boarders in Seagrave and Seilby in Leicestershire". We will definitely be using you again!!”

“Olivia has been amazing. Friendly, understanding and very kind. My dog had a great time with her. She is fully committed to attending the needs of the dog that is staying with her. I am so grateful and would absolutely use her services again and definitely recommend her.”

“Edwina and her partner were absolutely fantastic! We had updates each day of our boy Vinnie and he looked completely content and happy in the pictures received. Communication was great and she made sure to have a full breakdown of Vinnies needs and preferences prior to our booking. Would definitely recommend Edwina to anyone in need of a dog sitter 😊”

“Emily had a lovely time with Tarnya and her family! Everything about her stay was perfect! She seemed very happy and content and we were sent daily feedback on her progress which was very comforting for both of us. Thank you for a lovely stay and we can highly recommend for any future visits! Thanks again X”

“Very pleased with the stay for Sebi and Bella, lots of photos were sent, updated daily, played lots of ball which they love, definitely recommend and definitely use the service again knowing that our dogs were happy and safe”

About: Hi! I’m a caring, reliable animal lover and proud dog owner. I have a female Cockapoo called Maeve who is spayed and has a wonderful personality. She’s energetic, playful, cuddly, and loves meeting other dogs. One of the reasons I’m excited to offer pet sitting is that I’d love for Maeve to make more doggy friends. While I’d love a second dog one day, I can’t commit to one just yet, so Rover is the perfect way to spend more time with amazing dogs while giving them a safe, loving environment. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, as I would want the very best care for Maeve when she’s with someone else. I will treat your dog like one of my own, ensuring they receive plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, affection, and care tailored to their individual needs and routine. I work from home so your pups will never be alone for long periods of time, and theres lots of fields near me for our pups to run and play! Whether your dog enjoys long walks, playing fetch, cuddling on the sofa, or simply having company throughout the day, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, happy, and well looked after. Phineas stayed with Hannah for 2 nights and it was definitely home from home for him. We were very confident to leave our precious year-old boy with her, leaving him for the first time overnight. He is a very lively boy to.manage but that did not daunt her and he had a lovely time with all his needs being met. I think he was sorry to leave! Will definitely book him another holiday with lovely Hannah 😊

I couldn’t be happier with the care David provided for my dog, Oreo From the very first meet-and-greet, it was clear that he genuinely love animals and take the job seriously. Oreo can be a little anxious at first, but David was so patient and kind. I really appreciated the regular photo and message updates; it gave me total peace of mind knowing my pup was in such good hands. When I came home, Oreo was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. I highly recommend David to anyone looking for a trustworthy, reliable, and loving dog sitter. I’ll definitely be booking again!

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Sitters in East Midlands may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
