About: I’ve had dogs all my life, and currently have a golden retriever two years old, called Sam. I work from home Monday Wednesday Friday and can do weekends. Sam is playful and friendly and would love the company of another dog too, I have a spacious garden, and a cool house in summer. I work from home so can look after your pup. I am saving for a new house so I’m pretty much home all the time! a lunchtime walk and access to a large fenced garden and a cool living room/kitchen. I spend most of the day with a golden retriever so can offer human and mutt company for your pup!

I (Louis) grew up with our family dog, Bruno, and both my mum and sister have dogs of their own, Ed and Stan, who we spend lots of time with. My partner, Ellie, also grew up with several dogs, including Stanley, Macca and Lola, and her family currently has Rufus the Dachshund. We're absolutely ready to give all our love and care to a dog of our own. Odeta was an excellent sitter. I’m very grateful for the way she and her partner looked after Remi. From all the photos and updates, he looked happy, well cared for, and it was clear that he had settled in very well with them. Odeta kept me updated with every detail. What can I say other than Tatiana and her beautiful family are amazing!!! Dodge has stayed a few times now and he absolutely loves it, it’s all very familiar for him and he soon settles in to his own routine when he stays, he is so well cared for and loved like part if their family Nothing is too much trouble, Tatiana is so accommodating and helpful and without her it would be impossible for us to have a family holiday We are truly blessed to have found this wonderful family to take care of our precious boy when we go away I was worried about leaving Dodge especially during a heatwave! But i needn’t have been, he really was given the 5 star treatment on his very own little holiday Tatiana made sure he had early morning and late evening walks, ice lollies, fun in the paddling pool, cooling blankets and lots of shade and cool areas and sent me daily photos and updates of Dodge so it was so comforting to see how happy and cared for he was Dodge is looking forward to his next stay soon

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
