About: We have grown up with dogs and as a family we have always had dogs. We have also cared for friends and families dogs. We have our own dog,a shitzu, who loves company plus we live right next to a beautiful county park and big exposed field. We are a fun lovely family of four. I work full time but work from home2/3 times a week. My husband has a lunch break at home on the days that I am in the office so your dog would not be left for long without company. I have an enclosed dog friendly garden that’s fenced and safe. I have a small playful shitzu who would keep your fur baby company.
“Leah and Cameron have looked after my cat twice now, first time for a few days and the recent one was for a whole week. Milo is a very shy cat and is very used to his home environment. Leah and Cameron have gone above and beyond to make him feel comfortable and help him get settled in with them. They have stuck to his diet, played with him and made him a little den so he feels safe. He settled in extremely well with them both and started to get comfortable with them within a few days, he’s been meowing after them for attention and that’s a positive sign he happy. Can’t thank you both enough for everything you both have done for him and won’t hesitate to use them again or recommend to others. See you both soon for cat sitting and thank you so much.”

Felt worried to leave our doggy Timy behind while on holiday, But Daniela provided excellent service and sent update plus photo every single day which helped a lot. If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
