About: Hello! I am a new resident in Sheffield and love pets! I grew up with dogs (Jack Russell terriers, a golden lab, and a German pointer mix) and I was a dog walker for about a year many years ago. I am also a runner, so if you would prefer I take your dogs for a run, just let me know! I’d love to get to know you and your doggies :) I currently work at an art studio full time but my work is is quite flexible so I am able to find time around these responsibilities. For walks I care for the dogs by allowing them to stop and explore when they want and by bringing water and a small bowl for if they get thirsty on a longer walk. I also will take the dogs for a run if that is something you would like. For dog sitting I will let the pups out every couple hours or when they want, I will feed them when needed, fix them with clean water, take them for a walk at least once per day, and of course play with them and give them lots of pets

The cats were very well looked after by Gosia on our recent trip. She is so kind and caring. She is responsible and organised - which really puts my mind at ease leaving them. We got photos and feedback for each visit which was really helpful. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Gosia.

Kerenza was amazing while I was away, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her. She looked after my cat Pumpkin so well, and it gave me real peace of mind knowing she was in such good hands. She was very caring and attentive, and Pumpkin loved her, which means a lot to me. I also really appreciated the regular updates, she kept me informed with messages (and photos), which made it so much easier to relax while I was away. It was also really reassuring that she’s a vet trainee, which gave me extra confidence that Pumpkin was being looked after by someone knowledgeable and capable. I will definitely be booking with her again!

I can throughly recommend Yeru for looking after your pet. She came and spent an hour of her own time, to meet Mopsy (he doesn’t like strangers) and see if they would get along. He loved her as soon as they met, so I knew he would be okay. I went through everything Yeru needed to know about his care, and felt confident she would be okay with him. She did everything I asked of her, was clean and tidy and respectful of my property. On many days, she also spent longer with him then the 30 minutes that Rover allowed, I can only guess they were having fun together, and lost track of time. From the video and pictures she sent me on a twice daily basis, I could see my dog was happy and well. She’s polite and punctual and a really nice person, and I really hope she will be available the next time I need a pet sitter.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs and have always loved caring for them. I have a dog of my own who lives with my parents, and I’ve been taking care of him since I was growing up, so I’m very comfortable with the responsibilities that come with looking after a dog. I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I’m happy to follow their usual schedule and give them plenty of attention, care, and affection. I’m also comfortable staying in someone’s home and making sure both their dog and home are well looked after while they’re away. I’m reliable, responsible, and genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs. My priority is making sure your dog feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. 🐶❤️ As a university student, I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to caring for pets. My days can vary, but I’m able to work my routine around a dog’s needs, whether that’s morning walks, feeding, playtime, or simply keeping them company throughout the day. I really enjoy having dogs around, and I’m happy to give them plenty of attention and make sure they get the exercise, care, and companionship they’re used to. My flexible university schedule also means I can be available during the day and adapt to different routines and requirements. 🐶🐾 I always want pets to feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed while they’re in my care. I take the time to understand their usual routine, personality, and any specific needs before looking after them. I’m responsible and respectful of both the pet and their home. I make sure doors and gates are secure, keep an eye on pets when they’re outside, and follow their feeding, walking, and medication routines if needed. I also keep their environment clean and tidy. Most importantly, I treat every pet with patience, kindness, and plenty of attention. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, so I’ll always do my best to give them the same care and love I would want for my own dog. 🐶❤️

About: I have a dog of my own and would love to care for yours as is it best to have someone who actually cares! Iv had previous experiences with dogs, as ive joined some volunteer rescue walks some years ago. I easily adjust to animals and can assess their needs, as well is give them lots of love and care. My dog is a senior so i have some experience with giving oral medication and ear drops. Im also very good with energetic dogs and can provide engaging activities at many points of the day such as exercise. Currently, i am on summer holiday, so i have plenty of time for short notice bookings. Im heading off to uni in September, and looking for more opportunities along the way! I take my dog on daily walks, as well as providing him with medication as he’s a senior. like eardrops teeth care and various spa treatments. His food is perfectly portioned with nutrients and a balanced diet.

About: I owned two dogs when I was in Italy. I was responsible for caring for my dog since I was 13. My dog lived 15 years and the second is now 12 but he is in Italy with my sister. We went for walks in the forest and loved going to the park to play with other dogs. I have experience in walking different sizes of dogs. I also have 8 years experience in looking after guinea pigs. I have 2 cats that can be separated from pets boarding in a different room I am currently off work until the middle of July, so I will be at home most of the day. This means I can provide regular walks, plenty of playtime, toilet breaks, feeding, medication if needed, and lots of attention and companionship. Your pet will not be left alone for long periods and will receive consistent care throughout the day. Lots of cuddles and stimulation. Always supervised and have a pet camera. I make sure to follow the pets routine and keep owner up to date with messages and pictures

About: 🔖 Full Enhanced DBS Certificate (+ registered on the Update Service), June 2025 🐕❤️ Full Insurance for Pet Care Services, Present ❶ About Me Hi! I'm Weronika, a highly reliable and knowledgeable Pet Sitter and Dog Walker with over 20 years of hands-on experience looking after animals, both professionally and personally. As a deeply caring and empathic person, I’m also a current Graduate Entry Medicine student. My lifelong passion for animals began at age 5, when my family first started providing temporary, emergency home care for rescue dogs. We cared for pets in severe physical and emotional distress, ranging in size from tiny Terriers to remarkable Caucasian Shepherds. This experience further deepened my passion for and commitment to caring for animals, teaching me patience, empathy, and expert handling. I’ve since worked with pets of all temperaments, including reactive dogs, and truly believe that any animal can thrive when their needs are properly understood and met. I’m comfortable and confident caring for pets of all kinds and sizes. As a former owner of eight dogs, I know how much of a difference trusted support can make - whether you need a reliable walker, an expert pet sitter during long-term travel, or attentive in-home care whilst you're at work. Even as I'm starting my training to become a doctor, I remain committed to offering compassionate, evidence-based care to all pets. I continuously engage in further CPD-accredited training in animal behaviour and care to ensure my services stay effective and informed with the current specialist knowledge. ❷ Additional Services Offered • Dog Training & Behavioural Support - Please contact me to discuss → currently gathering funds for a Professional Qualification as a Dog Trainer; I am attending CPD-accredited courses on the subject in the meantime -- I'm more than happy to use my current expertise to help with training your dog or any behavioural difficulties. 💡 Travel costs vary based on distance - I cycle 🚲 to help reduce these costs and am happy to discuss a fair total based on your location. About: I absolutely adore all animals from and have since a young kid. I have taken care of family dogs and occasionally stray dogs since childhood including walking, playing, feeding, bathing, vet visits, giving oral medication. My current dog is a senior so I have the ability to ensure any pet is comfortable and the activity is suitable or adapted for each dog whether that be a young or senior dog. During my time at university I was a part of a voluntary group that walked dogs for families that were unable to do so. This was once or twice a week with both extra large dogs and small dogs. I'm in full time education at the moment moving from Ireland to England.

About: I’ve always had a soft spot for animals, and caring for them has been a natural part of my life. I previously owned a Golden Retriever, which taught me so much about patience, routine, and the joy that comes from having a furry companion. Since then, I’ve also provided private pet‑sitting services for friends, giving me hands‑on experience with different personalities, needs, and routines. I’m a friendly, caring sitter who treats every pet like my own. I pay close attention to detail — from keeping harmful or sharp objects safely out of reach to making sure pets stay on their regular diets. I never offer anything outside of what you’ve listed in their preferences, because their comfort and safety always come first. Your pet will feel right at home with me. Pets are welcome on the furniture, and my windows are high and out of reach, making the space safe and cozy. I live close to the canal, perfect for peaceful walks and fresh air. I’m more than happy to take dogs out in the early morning, during lunch breaks, and in the evening. I work a flexible hybrid job, which allows me to work from home when needed so your pet gets plenty of attention, companionship, and care throughout the day. I truly love animals, and I’d be more than happy to be trusted with your pet. Pet care fits easily into my weekly routine because my job is very flexible and allows me to work from home whenever needed. I typically work from home on Wednesdays and Fridays, which means your pet gets plenty of attention, company, and supervision throughout the day. On the days I go into the office, I’m only a 10‑minute walk from home, so I can pop back during my lunch break for check‑ins, feeding, playtime, or cuddles. I’m also available for early‑morning and evening care, making it easy to keep your pet on a consistent and comforting routine. Whether I’m home full‑time or stepping out briefly, I make sure pets feel safe, relaxed, and well‑cared‑for in my flat. Their needs fit naturally into my day, and I genuinely enjoy having them around. When pets stay with me, I make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and completely at home. I live in a cozy flat where pets are welcome on the furniture, so they can settle in comfortably. My windows are high up and out of reach, and I keep all harmful or sharp objects safely stored away to create a secure environment for curious pets. I follow each pet’s regular routine closely — especially their diet. I only feed what you’ve listed in their preferences to keep their stomachs happy and their routine consistent. I also live close to a peaceful canal, which is perfect for calm, enriching walks for dogs who enjoy exploring. Because my job is flexible and allows me to work from home whenever needed, I’m usually home on Wednesdays and Fridays, and I can adjust if a pet needs more company. Even on office days, I’m only a 10‑minute walk away, so I can easily come home for lunchtime check‑ins, cuddles, or playtime.

This was the second time Olaya took care of my cat Mimi. Olaya is so very conscientious, friendly, and just amazing with cats. Mimi trusts and opens up to Olaya easily. Olaya is also very gentle with cats and I’m very grateful that she is very diligent about things like locking doors and handling the keys. She also sent me any photos during the sit which I appreciated. I highly recommend Olaya.

Olivia came to meet my dog before her drop ins. She asked many questions in order to understand our needs and has been professional , from initially meeting Walter to the latest drop in. Each visit I received a check in report and follow up messages. She handled my recently rehomed dog like her own. Calming, soothing, and befriending Walter while providing him with reassurance. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Yes, absolutely! Many sitters on Rover are experienced in caring for multiple pets simultaneously, whether you have a pack of dogs, a clowder of cats, or a mix of both.

Look for sitters who highlight multi-pet expertise or check for verified reviews from other Nottingham pet parents with similar pet households.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Nottingham choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
