Hi! I’m Olaya, I’m a lifelong cat lover who’s been caring for cats since I was 8 years old. I’m very attentive to their needs and always adapt to each cat’s personality and stage of life. After moving to the UK 12 years ago, I started cat sitting for friends—both at my home and through drop-in visits—because I missed having my own cats so much. In 2020, I adopted a senior cat, Lord Jasper, who required daily medication, which gave me valuable experience caring for cats with extra needs. I’m now a happy cat mum again to my lovely Canela. I truly love all cats and will treat yours as my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I’m also happy to send updates and photos for your peace of mind.

Cats’ safety and comfort are always my top priorities. When visiting a home, I carefully follow all instructions and respect each cat’s space and boundaries. I make sure feeding routines are followed, litter trays are kept clean, and the home is left tidy and secure. Expect regular updates and photos, so the cat’s human always feels connected and reassured while they are away.

I am so glad Olaya agreed to take care of my cat Mimi for 4 days. Olaya is excellent with cats, and has really good and calm energy - Mimi opened up to her in minutes. Olaya took the time to engage with Mimi with toys and ensured no disruption to her routine. Olaya is also highly responsible, and she paid a lot of attention to detail, and I felt extremely assured about leaving Mimi in her care. All the information regarding Mimi’s routines as well as the apartment were handled with care and honesty which I really appreciate. Communication was excellent where I received many updates on Mimi. Olaya left my apartment extremely tidy! I am really thankful to Olaya and I would certainly recommend her to anyone looking for an extremely responsible and caring sitter.

Schedule
I currently work full-time, so I’m available for pet care in the evenings from 5pm on weekdays, as well as weekends. I make sure to plan my visits so each cat gets the time, attention, and care they need. I’m happy to adapt to your cat’s usual routine to keep things as consistent and stress-free as possible.
