“Andreia is super attentive to my cat when I’m away. She’s also a great communicator giving plenty of photos of videos to reassure you that your furry friend is doing well.”

About: What started out as pet sitting for friends and family and now starting to add clients to hopefully one day run my own pet sitting business. I have a love for all animals big and small and experience caring and handling them, from rabbits to horses you name it. I am currently working 4 days a week and looking to become my own boss and come away from this to run a doggy daycare from my own home. I have a 6-foot fence, a tidy garden, and a cosy and welcoming house for your dog to spend his day in while you are at work knowing all their needs are being met.
About: Hi! I’m Eva, a 21-year-old Biomedical student currently on placement. My studies can be pretty full-on, so spending time with animals is honestly one of the best ways for me to unwind. I’ve grown up around pets and caring for them has always been a big part of my life. At home I have quite the little animal family myself two beautiful dogs, four cats, and three guinea pigs so I’m very used to different personalities, routines, and care needs. From energetic walks and playtime to quiet cuddles and feeding routines, I’m comfortable with it all. I’m a patient, responsible, and caring sitter who understands how important it is to know your pet is safe and happy while you’re away. I’ll always treat your pets like they’re my own and make sure they get plenty of attention, affection, and proper care. If you’re looking for someone reliable who genuinely loves animals, I’d be more than happy to help look after your furry family member! Pet care fits really well into my routine, especially towards the end of the week. I’m typically available on Friday evenings as well as during the day on Saturdays and Sundays. This means I can give pets plenty of attention, playtime, walks, and care without being rushed. As a student, I’m very organised with my time and I enjoy spending my free time around animals, so caring for pets over the weekend works perfectly for me. I’m happy to follow your pet’s usual routine to help them feel comfortable and settled while you’re away. I always aim to care for pets in a way that keeps them comfortable, happy and as close to their normal routine as possible. In a pet owner’s home, I would make sure to follow the instructions provided carefully, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime and any specific care needs. I understand that pets feel safest in familiar environments, so I take the time to help them feel relaxed and well looked after. I also make sure they get plenty of attention, affection, and exercise depending on their needs and personality. I’m happy to provide updates and photos so owners can feel reassured while they’re away. As someone who has multiple pets of my own including dogs, cats, and guinea pigs I’m very used to different routines, temperaments and care requirements. I always treat every pet as if they were my own and make their wellbeing my top priority.
“Sophie was great with Gus, really quick to respond to messages, and sent us photos on the day to keep us updated. Gus enjoyed doggy day care and will be going back soon to play with his friends.”

About: At the dog shelter, I would walk, feed and groom the dogs. I would also spend time with the dogs in their kennels, whilst cleaning their kennels. I’m looking for a side hustle, since at the moment it’s quite difficult finding a part-time job. So my schedule is very flexible and free. I love spending time with any animals, especially dogs, and I enjoy playing with them and trying to teach them new tricks. I’m not easily frightened by dogs and I can understand when a dog needs space, food or a walk.
About: I absolutely love dogs and welcome any breed and age into my home to make it their home whilst you are away. I have had a range of pets growing up including dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and even a duck so I am also able for pop in visits for a wide range of pets! I currently have a 3 year old Cocker Spaniel called Mabel. She is great around other dogs since we regularly look after our friend’s and family’s dogs who range across all different breeds and sizes and she certainly loves the company as much as I do. I can adapt to whatever needs your dog requires and if your dog loves a cuddle then you’ve come to the perfect place 🥰 I promise to send regular pup-dates (if you would like them!) and to love your pooch as much as my own! And of course, plenty of walks are a given! I’m also more than happy to arrange a meet up before you go away should you wish for your pooch to meet me in advance! I work from home so I am around to give your pups plenty of attention during the day. Alternatively I can easily pop in for visits or walks on my lunch break and I am fortunate enough to work flexibly so can ensure they get as long a walk as required. Similarly I can pop in for all other types of pets too! I have a fenced back garden and live near plenty of secure walking spots but can also walk your dog in your local area if you’d prefer. I can also easily crate your dog if required. Regardless of how long I will be looking after your pet I will provide regular updates along with photos so that you can be fully assured that your pet is in great hands!
About: I like to board animals from one household at a time, providing a luxury service that your pet/pets will appreciate and love! All dogs that had been sharing their days with us, repeat the experience and wag their tails every time they come back! We have the best reviews on Facebook too! After studying animal management and dog-feline behaviour, I worked for many years with big cats as an ecologist. Since then, I worked in different areas of animal welfare feral animals and my favourite; wildlife rehabilitation. I have many years of experience caring for various species while working in the RSPCA and as part of other NGOs around the globe. For the past few years, I have been teaching about animal welfare, animal husbandry and ecology. My expertise focuses on behaviourally challenged cats and dogs as well as caring for different species and life stages (puppy to geriatric) and specific medical conditions (administration of medication). I love meeting the owners and the animals first to break the ice and make a connection! I work from home so, I have plenty of time for socialising and playing outdoors and a lot of love, care and fuss for your babies😍. I have a huge garden where we exercise from the geriatric dogs to the most active ones. This is needed, as we do not let any dogs off the lead when we take them for long walks, for security reasons.
About: I used to do agility training with my older dog. I'm also used to dealing with nervous dogs, who sound aggressive. I've helped in training my dogs for commands like sit, along with teaching them to move out of way and some tricks such as paw. I'm currently studying a full time uni course, with in person lectures on Wednesdays and Thursdays, so I have a lot of availability to take care of your dogs I will communicate well with the owner and follow their guidance by asking how they take care of their pet and replicate that because every pet is different. I will walk the dog on the lead, unless I am certain it will come back to me and I am in an enclosed area.
About: We have a lovely home which is fully secure, we're on an estate that has lovely local walks and your furry friend will be never left alone I work from home and my wife is also at home as she does not work so plenty of opportunities for walking, feeding and toilet duties! We'll try not to over spoil your pet! We have no pets of our own. Our big cuddly boxer dog passed away in March 2023 and we're ready to bring love to your pet whilst your away.
About: I am definitely a dog person, having had dogs for the last twenty years, The first dog of my married life came from the Dogs Trust when it was NCDL, so that shows how long I have had dogs. All of my furry friends have been a rescue of some kind so i am happy to work with the more 'challenged' doggies. Personally, I am semi-retired, and have had dogs in my life for as long as I can remember. The family would be lost without our furry friend. Dogs have always had the run of the houses, but can accommodate any cages if needed, younger dogs have always been caged at night to start with. A large garden, and located next to far reaching fields which is enough for even the most energetic of furry friends. Operating a twice daily feed (after walks) and love giving meaty treats to anyone that visits (Human or canine!)
About: I have had family friends rely on me for dog walking in previous summers. I also worked in a vet clinic so know how to handle all different breeds, sizes and temperaments Currently a student who is home for the summer and looking to help out where I can. I only work two days a week currently! I have a fenced in back garden with plenty of space for outdoor time alongside living in the countryside so plenty of lovely walks in all surrounding areas
About: Canine first aid trained, dbs checked and insured No dog too big or too small Happy to do meet and greets All dogs needs catered to Currently working part time for royal mail so as a postie im used to walking, so I offer dog walking and dog care services in my spare time, I come to your home and take care of your 4 legged family member, all walks are catered for your pooches specific needs not just pavement walks

About: I have experiences of a whole variety of pets. I’ve been around dogs since I was a small child and have walked and sat for: beagles, labradors, west highland terriers, Irish terriers, schitzus, spaniels, schnauzers, sheep dogs, and the list goes on! I have two cats of my own who are beautiful (but obviously I’m biased!). They’re Siamese x ragdoll so very chatty and very needy. They can do lots of tricks including sit, spin, stand, paw, fist bump… I’ve certainly put my psychology training to good use! I’ve also had cats all my life so I’m very familiar with this, too, whether that’s indoor cats or outdoor cats! I also have lots of experience with pet rats as well as chinchillas and have regularly house sat and done check ins for these animals too :) I nearly always work from home and love the company of pets for house sitting, but also love to get out and go for walks - even better if I can do that with a dog or cat! I have experience of a whole variety of different environments and animals. I’ve worked with dogs who get on well with other dogs and also hate other dogs, and also dogs with anxiety and who are very nervous. I’ve also looked after both indoor and outdoor cats in a variety of settings so can easily adapt to you and your pets needs as you see fit :)
Newark pet owners share their Rover experiences
I'm so grateful that I found Rory to look after my geriatric cat at quite short notice. She needs a lot of extra help and attention and Rory was so kind, attentive and caring; he went over and above to ensure that Chloe was well cared for, comfortable and reassured. I would highly recommend Rory to care for your precious feline.
