“This is the second time I have used Dorothy and once again, she was absolutely fantastic. I could tell she really enjoyed having Kora and could tell Kora really enjoyed her stay. A great sitter, who tailors things to suit you and your pet perfectly. Thanks Dorothy”

“So glad I booked a day for Button with Linnet! She was so lovely greeting us at the door and sent photos and updates throughout the day! Couldn’t have asked for better! Fantastic lady and fantastic attitude and I would highly recommend Linnet and will definitely book in the future for other days/nights when needed - thank you!! 🩵”

“Our old doggy Bob stayed with Nigel for two nights. He recently lost his owner and had to relocate to our home so we were looking for a home setting so as not to disturb him too much. We found the perfect place, Nigel was warm and welcoming of us and Bob along with all his little quirks! When we picked him up he had made himself very at home. He certainly had a lot of love whilst he stayed with Nigel, thank you so much for looking after Bob so well. Would thoroughly recommend Nigel as a trusted carer.”

“Victoria was great with Rocky, he got on well with her and I had plenty of updates showing Rocky was having a good time. 100% will stop by again when we go for our next break. Thank you Victoria!”

“Skye loved staying with Keisha. Ollie (Keisha’s cockapoo) is Skye’s new best friend. There is a huge fenced area for Skye to run around play. Keisha was extremely flexible in accommodating our dates, which kept changing. I would have no hesitation in recommending Keisha for home boarding.”

“Absolutely fantastic host for Kora. Seemed like she absolutely loved staying there and I had regular updates which helps massively. Wilf, their other dog was lovely and think my dog wants to go back just to have some more time with him!! Thanks both.”

“Florence had an amazing time! Thank you Pamela for your lovely care and kindness shown towards Florence. She was certainly exhausted when she returned home and from the videos and photos we received over the weekend she certainly made herself at home again x. 🐶”

About: I’ve had experience with dogs, especially for the whole of my life. Since I was born, I had grown up around dogs so I know they mannerisms quite well. From a HUGE mutt who loved to chase rabbits and a Feisty jack tussle to a tiny yapping sausage dog I’m capable of either. To ease your mind, I have also studied animal management for two years, and I have a certificate and a diploma to show for it. while I attended I walked a few of the resident dogs who had a wide range of behavioural issues such as reactivity. And lastly, I also worked with a greyhound rescue for awhile so it’s safe to say I am very used to dogs that like to pull! I am working full time so Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, with most Saturdays I will not be free. Unfortunately my schedule is tricky but I’m always willing to find the perfect time to help manage your own busy schedules. For now I’m only going to provide dog walking services around your own area, so I will be driving to you. I will not provide any leads, harnesses or muzzles so please make sure your own dog has the appropriate restraint.
“Ellie was great with Basil! Good communication and it was lovely to get some photos of him while I was away. He settled quite quickly, I understand, which gave me reassurance. Really recommend Ellie to anyone! Thank you for looking after my boy so well.”

About: I have taken care of pets since I was 5 years old, when my parents adopted our first rescue border collie. Since then, I have grown up with three other rescue dogs, providing me with a wide range of experience with different personalities, natures and needs. I have cared for young active dogs who need plenty of play, rescue dogs with nervous temperaments who require patience and reassurance and senior dogs that need comfort, peace and a slower pace. My dog, Toffee, was diagnosed with CCLD, and I played an active role in managing her care, recovery plan and medications. This taught me how important consistency and routines are for for pets that need that little bit of extra support. I also have plenty of experience dog sitting for family and friends, and have cared for cats, guinea pigs and rabbits. I would love the opportunity to help more loving owners by providing caring, reliable and attentive pet care :) I am currently available most weekdays and weekends, with a flexible schedule. “Jade has been reliable, trustworthy and professional. She kept us up to date with her visits every day through messages and photos. We came home to two happy and healthy cats. We've already booked her again for later in the year. Thank you Jade, I really appreciate your thoughtfulness.”

“Helena was excellent. Spent time playing with Millie and giving her a fuss whilst I was away. Provided daily updates and pictures which was a nice touch. Would highly recommend.”

“Andreia made the time away from our 2 cats less stressful for us and the cats. She came in every day and spent time with the lads. She managed to win over Virgil who is a real momma's boy. Her visits made a big difference. She is a natural. Highly recommended!”

“Isabella was lovely and warm on arrival, and looked after both of our cats wonderfully. We were sent loads of photos and videos every day during our holiday and she even cleaned up any messes that were left in our absense. Strongly recommend! Thanks so much! ”

“Orissa looked after my two Maine Coons while I was on holiday for a few days. This was my first time using rover so I wasn’t really sure what to expect and to be honest I was quite anxious. But after my meet and greet with Orissa, that all changed as she was so lovely to me and the boys and knew exactly what to do right away. While I was away Orissa would regularly send photos and write detailed reports of her visit which were so heartwarming. It reassured me and my partner that the boys were in the best hands. She took care of the boys so well, looking after their food, litter and also our house. When I came back the house was clean and tidy just how we left it. The boys seemed happy too as they had great company and someone to play with. Sometimes they can get lonely on their own so it’s nice to know there’s someone there for them. Overall, Orissa was amazing and would recommend to anyone who needs someone to take care of their furry babies while they’re away.”

“Thank you Rory for looking after Tage & Trixie so well. Lovely updates and pics during his care and when we returned the girls didn’t seem to have noticed we’d been away - always a great sign! Rory is very conscientious and goes above and beyond. I would highly recommend Rory and have him back to sit for us any time.”

“Ava was absolutely fantastic. Both our cats were happy (a difficult task). They were well looked after and the house was left in a lovely way, too. Ava was really easy to communicate with and is such a lovely person, too. We would very happily have Ava house sit for us again!”

“Karen was so helpful, sending us lots of photos and infomation about how our girls were getting on. I would highly recomend Karen , she always goes the extra mile to reasure that the girls are happy.”

“We met Lucie before going away and she came across as kind, caring, and attentive. Both of our cats took to her straight away, which was very reassuring. While we were away, she kept us updated and sent lovely photos, so we always knew they were in safe hands. Thank you, Lucie, for taking such great care of them, we really appreciate it! 😊”

“Pamela is a fantastic human being, she puts your mind at ease even before your stay. Great communication, daily updates and loads of photo and videos, which I really appreciate because I missed my baby loads. But I know Bruno had fantastic time with Pamela and her family and he was well looked after. I would definitely recommend Pamela to everyone and would book it again. Thank you so much ?”

About: I’ve had cats all my life including 3 outdoor cats when I lived with my parents, and 2 indoor cats now. My indoor cats are beautiful (although I’m biased!) as they are Siamese x ragdoll but this also means they’re very chatty and very needy. I’m always up for playing with them and fussing them and they know loads of tricks including: sit, stand, spin, paw, fist bump… the list goes on! They’re also fully harness trained and able to go for walks. So I am fully equipped for whatever set up you and your pets have :)
About: I used to do agility training with my older dog. I'm also used to dealing with nervous dogs, who sound aggressive. I've helped in training my dogs for commands like sit, along with teaching them to move out of way and some tricks such as paw. I'm currently studying a full time uni course, with in person lectures on Wednesdays and Thursdays, so I have a lot of availability to take care of your dogs I will communicate well with the owner and follow their guidance by asking how they take care of their pet and replicate that because every pet is different. I will walk the dog on the lead, unless I am certain it will come back to me and I am in an enclosed area.

“Lucy was absolutely amazing! Helped out at short notice with no hassle or problems. Got back from holiday and the girls looked happy, chilled and well looked after. Thank you so much, Lucy! We will definitely ask for your help in the future if you’re free xx”

“Milo had a great stay with Sophie, Quinn and Dotty. Sophie was really good with Milo, she took time to meet him before his stay so he would feel more settled when he was dropped off. She is very knowledgeable when it comes to dogs and gave Eva and I lots of really good tips and advice about treats, food, grooming and dog toys and good places to shop for them. During the stay she kept us updated with messages and pictures which is always nice to see thats he's in good hands and having a great time. Milo really enjoyed his stay and will be back again.”

“I spent countless hours searching for someone with real experience handling working dogs, as we have a Border Collie, and it was so important to find the right fit. From the moment I met Dorothy at our meet and greet, I knew she was the one. Enzo absolutely fell in love with her and had such an amazing time during his doggy day care stay. I was looking for a true “home away from home” for him, and that’s exactly what Dorothy provides. She is incredibly knowledgeable, gentle, and patient—her experience really shines through in the way she cares for the dogs. I honestly couldn’t be happier and feel so reassured knowing Enzo is in such great hands.”

“Andreia was so lovely with my chi and me! I was really nervous to leave my precious boy as I have never left him before. Andreia reassured me that he would be fine, I went through his basic needs which were all followed during his stay. I had gorgeous photographs sent to me during the time he was with Andreia. If I ever need my boy looking after again in the area I would definitely request to go back to Andreia. ☺️”

About: After a health scare & with my boys being much older now, I completed an Animal Care course to gain additional knowledge in animal care. I had a Westie for 16 years & now have a Havachon that we have had for 10 years now. I have built up a good sized portfolio of regular dogs & cats through BARK providing walks, pop ins & stays. *Additional customer reviews can be found on BARK. I am available in the week to walk & the week/weekend to provide pop in visits & day stays at my house. I do go over to France four times per year as we have a small house out there, but this would be discussed with the pet owners. I am offering dog walking, pop ins & day visits to my house. I have a large house & a good sized garden which is fenced & gated with no way to escape. I take my own dog Lola over to another village where there is a lovely long lane where we walk. I have now built up a good sized client base & so I would plan accordingly with your dog or cat & my regular clients.

“Andreia is excellent. Our dogs are always delighted to see her and she is really good with them. She is also completely reliable. Despite having injured her ankle on the morning of dog sitting for us, when she could reasonably have cancelled, she contacted us to explain and still came to complete the visit. I recommend her wholeheartedly.”

About: I have always cared for animals as my Father was an RSPCA inspector, RAF dog handler and farm worker - So we always had an array of animals to care for at my house. That love for animals has continued as I have had dogs, cats, horses, chickens and sheep all at home. I have been working as a pet sitter a few years now, visiting all different homes to walk, exercise, look after & keep their pets company while their owners are away. My other role as a P/T PA also means I am used to different client requests and I am happy to water plants, collect parcels etc when you are out so just ask! I am highly organised, friendly, helpful and reliable. DBS, insurance and references available. I currently work p/t, so I am available for pet visits and sitting. For regular clients I am also happy to offer last min or emergency visits, as I know what life can throw at us all! I always treat everyones home and pets with love, care and respect - Nothing less will do and nothing is too much trouble. I am an organised perfectionist and always want my clients to know they can count on me while they are away. I also will always plan an initial meet/greet, so we can discuss requirements and I can meet you and your pets. I will go through everything in detail so I am completely clear on what you would like me to do, and I will have a form so I know all medical history, vet details, emergency contacts, feeding schedule, likes/dislikes etc. I always get told when i leave my meet and greets 'Oh I am so relieved, I can go away knowing they are safe and are going to be looked after' Which is what I want my client to feel as that is my job :) I know personally as I have my own animals too and know how i like them and my home to be treated while I am not there.

I also have experience with looking after rescue animals and a senior dog, and understand the extra attention that they may sometimes require. I'm currently completely free for the foreseeable future and am happy to come and look after your animals whenever you want! I'd love to spend all of that free time with animals! I'm very flexible as at the moment this is my only job and I'm happy to work around your requirements! I will always stay in contact with you as often as you would like and will update you with calls, photos, and texts depending on what you would prefer.
About: I am definitely a dog person, having had dogs for the last twenty years, The first dog of my married life came from the Dogs Trust when it was NCDL, so that shows how long I have had dogs. All of my furry friends have been a rescue of some kind so i am happy to work with the more 'challenged' doggies. Personally, I am semi-retired, and have had dogs in my life for as long as I can remember. The family would be lost without our furry friend. Dogs have always had the run of the houses, but can accommodate any cages if needed, younger dogs have always been caged at night to start with. A large garden, and located next to far reaching fields which is enough for even the most energetic of furry friends. Operating a twice daily feed (after walks) and love giving meaty treats to anyone that visits (Human or canine!)

About: What started out as pet sitting for friends and family and now starting to add clients to hopefully one day run my own pet sitting business. I have a love for all animals big and small and experience caring and handling them, from rabbits to horses you name it. I am currently working 4 days a week and looking to become my own boss and come away from this to run a doggy daycare from my own home. I have a 6-foot fence, a tidy garden, and a cosy and welcoming house for your dog to spend his day in while you are at work knowing all their needs are being met.

About: I like to board animals from one household at a time, providing a luxury service that your pet/pets will appreciate and love! All dogs that had been sharing their days with us, repeat the experience and wag their tails every time they come back! We have the best reviews on Facebook too! After studying animal management and dog-feline behaviour, I worked for many years with big cats as an ecologist. Since then, I worked in different areas of animal welfare feral animals and my favourite; wildlife rehabilitation. I have many years of experience caring for various species while working in the RSPCA and as part of other NGOs around the globe. For the past few years, I have been teaching about animal welfare, animal husbandry and ecology. My expertise focuses on behaviourally challenged cats and dogs as well as caring for different species and life stages (puppy to geriatric) and specific medical conditions (administration of medication). I love meeting the owners and the animals first to break the ice and make a connection! I work from home so, I have plenty of time for socialising and playing outdoors and a lot of love, care and fuss for your babies😍. I have a huge garden where we exercise from the geriatric dogs to the most active ones. This is needed, as we do not let any dogs off the lead when we take them for long walks, for security reasons.

About: I have experiences of a whole variety of pets. I’ve been around dogs since I was a small child and have walked and sat for: beagles, labradors, west highland terriers, Irish terriers, schitzus, spaniels, schnauzers, sheep dogs, and the list goes on! I have two cats of my own who are beautiful (but obviously I’m biased!). They’re Siamese x ragdoll so very chatty and very needy. They can do lots of tricks including sit, spin, stand, paw, fist bump… I’ve certainly put my psychology training to good use! I’ve also had cats all my life so I’m very familiar with this, too, whether that’s indoor cats or outdoor cats! I also have lots of experience with pet rats as well as chinchillas and have regularly house sat and done check ins for these animals too :) I nearly always work from home and love the company of pets for house sitting, but also love to get out and go for walks - even better if I can do that with a dog or cat! I have experience of a whole variety of different environments and animals. I’ve worked with dogs who get on well with other dogs and also hate other dogs, and also dogs with anxiety and who are very nervous. I’ve also looked after both indoor and outdoor cats in a variety of settings so can easily adapt to you and your pets needs as you see fit :)
About: I used to do agility training with my older dog. I'm also used to dealing with nervous dogs, who sound aggressive. I've helped in training my dogs for commands like sit, along with teaching them to move out of way and some tricks such as paw. About: I absolutely love dogs and welcome any breed and age into my home to make it their home whilst you are away. I have had a range of pets growing up including dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and even a duck so I am also able for pop in visits for a wide range of pets! I currently have a 3 year old Cocker Spaniel called Mabel. She is great around other dogs since we regularly look after our friend’s and family’s dogs who range across all different breeds and sizes and she certainly loves the company as much as I do. I can adapt to whatever needs your dog requires and if your dog loves a cuddle then you’ve come to the perfect place 🥰 I promise to send regular pup-dates (if you would like them!) and to love your pooch as much as my own! And of course, plenty of walks are a given! I’m also more than happy to arrange a meet up before you go away should you wish for your pooch to meet me in advance! I work from home so I am around to give your pups plenty of attention during the day. Alternatively I can easily pop in for visits or walks on my lunch break and I am fortunate enough to work flexibly so can ensure they get as long a walk as required. Similarly I can pop in for all other types of pets too! I have a fenced back garden and live near plenty of secure walking spots but can also walk your dog in your local area if you’d prefer. I can also easily crate your dog if required. Regardless of how long I will be looking after your pet I will provide regular updates along with photos so that you can be fully assured that your pet is in great hands!

About: At the dog shelter, I would walk, feed and groom the dogs. I would also spend time with the dogs in their kennels, whilst cleaning their kennels. I’m looking for a side hustle, since at the moment it’s quite difficult finding a part-time job. So my schedule is very flexible and free. I love spending time with any animals, especially dogs, and I enjoy playing with them and trying to teach them new tricks. I’m not easily frightened by dogs and I can understand when a dog needs space, food or a walk.

“Ben went above and beyond with our little Reggie, this was the first time we had to booked a sitter, so I was very nervous, but Ben, was contacting me and sending lovely messages and updates and photos of Reggie through the entire week we was away on our holiday, which i so appreciated from him, it made me feel at ease and I knew Reggie was being cared for and in safe hands with Ben, and in the extremely high weather temperatures we was having at the time, having a frenchie you can appreciate it is very hard due to Reggie’s breed, but yet again Ben took care of it and made sure Reggie was safe and comfortable, Which once again was down to Ben. From the moment I saw Ben as we introduced ourselves and with his own dog Noah, I knew Ben was the person for us. I want to thank Ben again personally and to Noah for making Reggie’s stay so welcome for him, and definitely will be having Ben again for Reggie’s stay in future, many thank Ben ☺️”

“Another very successful stay for Harvey with Antonia! Thank you very much for looking after and entertaining his Lordship for a couple of days, I really appreciate you fitting him in. Thank you for the pupdates and videos, they are always so reassuring”

“Bradley looked after Piglet and Pumba our sausage dogs and they had a wonderful mini holiday. We were sent regular updates & they had a wonderful time with Lincoln & enjoyed their walks. I felt really relaxed with them staying with Bradley & they would love to go back !!”

“My elderly (but sprightly!) dachshund had a wonderful first stay with Becks. She was treated like one of the family but Becks was also careful to note my advice on her various foibles. She had walks everyday and came back in great spirits. Becks is clearly very professional in her approach but at that same time has a real affinity with her ‘guests’. I wouldn’t hesitate to book Poppy in again.”

“Grace recently looked after our reactive rescue staffie Daisy when we went away for the weekend. We did a meet and greet , which was easy to organise and Grace was very welcoming. We hadn't used Grace before for daycare, so we were a little anxious about Daisy stopping overnight as her first visit but she settled really fast and had a great time. We received regular updates and photos (where we could tell that Daisy was genuinely happy!) and our advice regarding Daisy's routine was followed well 🙂 we will definitely be asking Grace to sit Daisy again in future and would recommend her to anyone.”

“Rachel was absolutely amazing! Her gentle nature with Rufus made it obvious that she treats your pets like her own family members. She shared plenty of photos and videos and is a great communicator. I would definitely recommend her, and we will absolutely be back. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of Rufus he had a great time! x”

“Absolutely amazing couple who accommodated me with a last minute booking and treated my dog Luna just like there own, With regular photo & video updates even bracing the bad weather to take Luna out, I couldn’t of been happier with the care that Luna received, Thank you again and see you soon”

“I recently, at quite short notice, needed a dog sitter for a few days over the weekend. I’ve used the app for day care before but this was my first time looking for an overnight, stay and was a couple of nights. A little anxious about leaving my beloved pet in a strange environment, I used the app and after reading the reviews, I felt confident to ask. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. Meeting up beforehand in a relaxed, local park, I felt at ease and knew Doris was going to be in safe hands. Drop off and collection were seamless, she had a lovely stay over and was treated like a member of the family. Lucy provided updates and pictures which put my mind at rest, I can’t thank her enough.”

“Hector had the best time staying with Cordelia! He’s a nervous dog but he loved her straight away and I could tell when I picked him up how much they had bonded over the week. Cordelia took Hector on 2 walks a day, sent us lots of pictures to keep us updated and made him feel right at home. I’d absolutely recommend booking your doggy in with Cordelia, and I’m so happy we’ve found a home away from home for him for the next time we go away ❤️”

“Meg and Joss had our boy Odie for his first full week with them! He’s had a couple of overnights/daycares due to being nervous in new places to prepare him for a longer stay. We got plenty of updates, pictures and considerate questions where they wanted to make sure he stayed happy and healthy. It was really warm weather during his stay and they kept him cool and did his walks early and late to keep him safe. I wholeheartedly recommend them, especially if you have more nervous dogs or those that need extra attention.”

“We were nervous having never used Rover before for dog sitting, but Elaine and Stijn were really reassuring, asking lots of questions to get to know the dogs and how to care for them. Whilst we were away they sent lots of photos and our dogs looked right at home. We would not hesitate to use them again.”

“Daniel looked after my two dogs while we were abroad, and I couldn’t be happier with the care they received. He was amazing with both of them, especially my senior dog, making sure all of her medication was given correctly and that she was comfortable and well looked after. I received daily updates and lots of photos, which gave me complete peace of mind and made it so much easier being away from them. It was clear that my dogs were happy, relaxed, and treated with genuine care and affection. I would highly recommend Daniel to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter. I will definitely be asking him to look after my dogs every time we go abroad from now on. Thank you so much! for looking after Lizzie and Bella 💖🐶”

“What an amazing dog sitter Helen is. How lucky I was to find her. It was a last-minute decision to leave our Labrador, Flo with Helen when we went on holiday. Fortunately, she had availability. We had not left Flo with anyone apart from family before. When Flo and I met Helen , she put my mind at ease and I could see that our dog was going to be so well cared for. Helen kept in touch regularly sending me updates on Flo. I could see that Flo was happily settling well into a routine. Enjoying lovely walks with Hugo, Helen’s dog, playtime with her family and chilling in her bed. She really had the best time. I feel so grateful to Helen and her family for looking after our dog as if she was one of their own which allowed us to relax totally on holiday. I would not hesitate to recommend Helen as a dog sitter and will definitely use her again to look after Flo.”
