“Linnet was a great communicator, both before and during our dog’s stay. She listened to his needs and routines and we felt confident he would be very well looked after. He enjoyed playing with other dogs and a trip to the pub during his stay. We would highly recommend Linnet and would be very happy to book her again.”

“Oh my goodness. What a lovely lady! What a good time Monty my little cocker spaniel had whilst staying with Victoria and Bella. I could not be happier. Monty seemed very settled and Victoria sent me a daily update and photo which I appreciated. Victoria is very relaxed and I felt confident leaving Monty for his five night stay. In fact when I picked him up to come home he was a little silky with me ! I think he really missed being with Victoria and Bella. Cannot recommend her highly enough.”

“This is the second time I have used Dorothy and once again, she was absolutely fantastic. I could tell she really enjoyed having Kora and could tell Kora really enjoyed her stay. A great sitter, who tailors things to suit you and your pet perfectly. Thanks Dorothy”

“Our dog Pongo has anxiety issues and struggles to settle outside his own home. Sophie has a calming influence and an approach that really suited him. He settled in quickly and I wouldn’t hesitate to take him to stay with her again. He reacted well when I picked him up he didn’t seem in any rush to leave and exhibited no stress signs whatsoever. For shy dogs Sophie is brilliant!”

“Thank you Rory for looking after Tage & Trixie so well. Lovely updates and pics during his care and when we returned the girls didn’t seem to have noticed we’d been away - always a great sign! Rory is very conscientious and goes above and beyond. I would highly recommend Rory and have him back to sit for us any time.”

“It was the second time Jade looked after our two cats. She feeds them twice a day and gives them a fuss. She's a lovely person who is passionate about cats and their welfare. I trust her completely. Both of our cats are 13 and are on medication. Jade sent me photos everyday and some little videos, to reassure me that they were okay. ”

“We met Lucie before going away and she came across as kind, caring, and attentive. Both of our cats took to her straight away, which was very reassuring. About: I used to do agility training with my older dog. I'm also used to dealing with nervous dogs, who sound aggressive. I've helped in training my dogs for commands like sit, along with teaching them to move out of way and some tricks such as paw. I'm currently studying a full time uni course, with in person lectures on Wednesdays and Thursdays, so I have a lot of availability to take care of your dogs I will communicate well with the owner and follow their guidance by asking how they take care of their pet and replicate that because every pet is different. I will walk the dog on the lead, unless I am certain it will come back to me and I am in an enclosed area.

“Pamela is a fantastic human being, she puts your mind at ease even before your stay. Great communication, daily updates and loads of photo and videos, which I really appreciate because I missed my baby loads. But I know Bruno had fantastic time with Pamela and her family and he was well looked after. I would definitely recommend Pamela to everyone and would book it again. Thank you so much ?”

About: I have lots of experience caring for cats as I currently have four of my own at home. Because of this, I’m very familiar with different cat personalities — from very playful and energetic to shy cats who prefer their own space. I understand how important it is to respect their boundaries and help them feel comfortable in their environment. I’m experienced with daily feeding routines, cleaning litter trays, playtime, grooming, and making sure cats get plenty of attention and affection. I also know how important routine is for cats, so I always try to keep things as normal and stress-free as possible while their owners are away. Whether your cat loves to play, cuddle, or simply have someone nearby to keep them company, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for.

“Lucy was absolutely amazing! Helped out at short notice with no hassle or problems. Got back from holiday and the girls looked happy, chilled and well looked after. Thank you so much, Lucy! We will definitely ask for your help in the future if you’re free xx”

“Milo had a great stay with Sophie, Quinn and Dotty. Sophie was really good with Milo, she took time to meet him before his stay so he would feel more settled when he was dropped off. She is very knowledgeable when it comes to dogs and gave Eva and I lots of really good tips and advice about treats, food, grooming and dog toys and good places to shop for them. During the stay she kept us updated with messages and pictures which is always nice to see thats he's in good hands and having a great time. Milo really enjoyed his stay and will be back again.”

“Nala had a fantastic time with Pamela. Pamela was very welcoming & took time to get all the vital information regarding Nala prior to the daycare. I was kept informed with pictures on how Nala was throughout the day which was very reassuring. Nala was a very tired happy dog on my return. I would definitely ask Pamela again to take care of Nala.”

“Andreia was so lovely with my chi and me! I was really nervous to leave my precious boy as I have never left him before. Andreia reassured me that he would be fine, I went through his basic needs which were all followed during his stay. I had gorgeous photographs sent to me during the time he was with Andreia. If I ever need my boy looking after again in the area I would definitely request to go back to Andreia. ☺️”

“I spent countless hours searching for someone with real experience handling working dogs, as we have a Border Collie, and it was so important to find the right fit. From the moment I met Dorothy at our meet and greet, I knew she was the one. Enzo absolutely fell in love with her and had such an amazing time during his doggy day care stay. I was looking for a true “home away from home” for him, and that’s exactly what Dorothy provides. She is incredibly knowledgeable, gentle, and patient—her experience really shines through in the way she cares for the dogs. I honestly couldn’t be happier and feel so reassured knowing Enzo is in such great hands.”

I have a large house & a good sized garden which is fenced & gated with no way to escape. I take my own dog Lola over to another village where there is a lovely long lane where we walk. “Andreia is excellent. Our dogs are always delighted to see her and she is really good with them. She is also completely reliable. Despite having injured her ankle on the morning of dog sitting for us, when she could reasonably have cancelled, she contacted us to explain and still came to complete the visit. I recommend her wholeheartedly.”

About: I like to board animals from one household at a time, providing a luxury service that your pet/pets will appreciate and love! All dogs that had been sharing their days with us, repeat the experience and wag their tails every time they come back! We have the best reviews on Facebook too! After studying animal management and dog-feline behaviour, I worked for many years with big cats as an ecologist. Since then, I worked in different areas of animal welfare feral animals and my favourite; wildlife rehabilitation. I have many years of experience caring for various species while working in the RSPCA and as part of other NGOs around the globe. For the past few years, I have been teaching about animal welfare, animal husbandry and ecology. My expertise focuses on behaviourally challenged cats and dogs as well as caring for different species and life stages (puppy to geriatric) and specific medical conditions (administration of medication). I love meeting the owners and the animals first to break the ice and make a connection! I work from home so, I have plenty of time for socialising and playing outdoors and a lot of love, care and fuss for your babies😍. I have a huge garden where we exercise from the geriatric dogs to the most active ones. This is needed, as we do not let any dogs off the lead when we take them for long walks, for security reasons.

About: I absolutely love dogs and welcome any breed and age into my home to make it their home whilst you are away. I have had a range of pets growing up including dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and even a duck so I am also able for pop in visits for a wide range of pets! I currently have a 3 year old Cocker Spaniel called Mabel. She is great around other dogs since we regularly look after our friend’s and family’s dogs who range across all different breeds and sizes and she certainly loves the company as much as I do. I can adapt to whatever needs your dog requires and if your dog loves a cuddle then you’ve come to the perfect place 🥰 I promise to send regular pup-dates (if you would like them!) and to love your pooch as much as my own! And of course, plenty of walks are a given! I’m also more than happy to arrange a meet up before you go away should you wish for your pooch to meet me in advance! I work from home so I am around to give your pups plenty of attention during the day. Alternatively I can easily pop in for visits or walks on my lunch break and I am fortunate enough to work flexibly so can ensure they get as long a walk as required. Similarly I can pop in for all other types of pets too! I have a fenced back garden and live near plenty of secure walking spots but can also walk your dog in your local area if you’d prefer. I can also easily crate your dog if required. Regardless of how long I will be looking after your pet I will provide regular updates along with photos so that you can be fully assured that your pet is in great hands!

About: At the dog shelter, I would walk, feed and groom the dogs. I would also spend time with the dogs in their kennels, whilst cleaning their kennels. I’m looking for a side hustle, since at the moment it’s quite difficult finding a part-time job. So my schedule is very flexible and free. I love spending time with any animals, especially dogs, and I enjoy playing with them and trying to teach them new tricks. I’m not easily frightened by dogs and I can understand when a dog needs space, food or a walk.

Dogs have always had the run of the houses, but can accommodate any cages if needed, younger dogs have always been caged at night to start with. A large garden, and located next to far reaching fields which is enough for even the most energetic of furry friends. Operating a twice daily feed (after walks) and love giving meaty treats to anyone that visits (Human or canine!)
“My elderly (but sprightly!) dachshund had a wonderful first stay with Becks. She was treated like one of the family but Becks was also careful to note my advice on her various foibles. She had walks everyday and came back in great spirits. Becks is clearly very professional in her approach but at that same time has a real affinity with her ‘guests’. I wouldn’t hesitate to book Poppy in again.”

“Pamela was a fantastic host for our two dogs, she looked after them, gave them walks and kept us informed. I would very happily use her excellent service again.”

About: I've had pets for as long as I can remember! Dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish and even stick insects! (don't ask - my poor Mum!) I'm comfortable with large dogs and giving medication to pets. I can also look in on small pets too and I'll even put out your bins while you're away :) I'm available for pop-ins after 4pm, Tuesday to Friday and all day at the weekend. I'm also available for overnight boarding at the weekend too. I have a fenced garden and plenty of open space around us to stretch our legs and get a change of scenery. In your home I will follow your usual routine for feeding, play, medication etc.
“It was our first time having a sitter for Spark and I felt really reassured when meeting Tarnya. She clearly has alot of experience with dogs and I knew that Spark would be well looked after. Thanks so much for looking after him, I'm sure he will be back soon!”

About: Hi, I’m Ange 👋🐾 — a lifelong animal lover, DBS checked, with years of hands-on experience caring for pets of all shapes and sizes. I now offer dog day care and pet services from Sutton on Trent, a lovely rural village surrounded by countryside, quiet lanes, and peaceful walking routes 🌿🐕. It’s a calm, home-from-home environment, ideal for dogs who enjoy companionship, fresh air, and gentle structure throughout the day. Originally from South Africa, I spent many years rescuing and caring for animals including injured Rottweilers, pot-bellied pigs, leopard geckos, kittens, rabbits, hedgehogs, birds, fish, and snakes 🐶🐷🦎🐰🐍. When I moved to the UK, I brought my German Shepherd, Jax, with me. Together, we completed obedience and protection training, giving me valuable experience handling large breeds and understanding canine behaviour. I’m confident caring for dogs with reactive behaviours, allergies, specialised diets including raw feeding, senior needs, and medication routines 💛. My approach is calm, patient, and tailored to each pet’s personality, routine, and comfort. ⸻ 🐶 Services Offered ✅ Dog day care in a calm countryside setting ✅ Dog walking tailored to age, fitness, and temperament ✅ Drop-in visits for feeding, companionship, medication, playtime, and toilet breaks ✅ Senior dog care and gentle enrichment ✅ Secure off-lead walks available if booked at a secure field ⸻ 🐾 Why Choose Me? • 🌿 Rural village location with access to lovely countryside walks • 🐕 Experienced with dogs of all ages, breeds, and needs • 💪 Confident handling large and strong breeds • 🥩 Knowledgeable in raw feeding, allergy management, and medication • 🐈 Comfortable caring for cats, small animals, reptiles, birds, and more • 📸 Regular updates and photos for peace of mind • 💛 Calm, reliable, and compassionate care The property has a large garden and outdoor space 🌳. Please note, the garden is not fully enclosed, so dogs are always supervised and kept safely on lead or long line unless we have arranged a secure enclosed field booking. Your pet’s safety will always come first. Whether your dog enjoys countryside walks, quiet companionship, playtime, or a relaxed day in a homely setting, I’ll care for them as if they were my own 🐾💛 Let’s arrange a meet-and-greet so we can find the best routine for your pet. 🐶✨ I’m currently preparing to start my MSc this autumn and also work part-time, so I’ll have a flexible schedule that allows me to offer pet care during both weekdays and weekends. I’m happy to work around your routine — whether that’s morning walks, midday visits, or evening care. Just let me know what suits you and we can find a time that works for everyone! Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, their safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. I take time to understand each pet’s personality, routines, and needs so they feel secure and relaxed in my care. I maintain a calm, positive environment and always follow any instructions you provide — from feeding routines and medication to preferred walking routes or sleeping arrangements. I never rush interactions and always allow pets to approach me at their own pace, building trust naturally. Your pet will be treated with the same love, respect, and attention I give my own. I have an enclosed garden with high walls
“We can't thank Ian enough. We were very reassured on meeting him & Henry was very well looked after and loved whilst we were away. We were sent lots of photos & videos too. Thank you so much.”

“Bradley is a fantastic dog sitter. When contacting Bradley he was very quick to respond to the boarding request. I wanted to meet before my dog went to stay and Bradley was very accommodating with this. Unfortunately due to illness I had to cancel and rearrange without any problems and Bradley was very flexible to fit in with me. Meeting Bradley and the lovely Lincoln reassured me that I had chosen a great dog sitter. When Maple was staying with Bradley, he communicated regularly and I loved it that Maple was taken out for one of the days and had so much fun. The videos and photos were lovely and I could see that Maple was settled and clearly had made a new friend being Lincoln. Bradley loves dogs and Maple had such fun she was exhausted when we picked her up. Bradley looked after Maple like she was at her own home. I will definitely book in with Bradley again and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending him to others.”

“Alice was great with Wilf. We had a meet and greet first, then Wilf stayed for an overnight. There's plenty of room, a very large garden and lots of land. Wilf had walks and played with Alice's dog. He came back very tired! We'll certainly be using Alice again.”

“Ellie was great with Basil! Good communication and it was lovely to get some photos of him while I was away. He settled quite quickly, I understand, which gave me reassurance. Really recommend Ellie to anyone! Thank you for looking after my boy so well.”

“I needed a last-minute dog sitter. Thankfully, Leah was willing to accomodate my dog. I felt reassured that as soon as I stepped through the door, she was welcoming and friendly. Leah had already read all the care notes and was very attentive to my dogs extra needs. He enjoyed his stay and is lookong forward to the next visit.”

About: Hey, I’m Dan! My wife, Danielle, and I are lifelong dog lovers and the proud pawrents of Wilbur, our 4yo Goldendoodle. He is incredibly friendly, full of life, and loves making new furry friends! Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. Growing up, my family had everything from Westies to German Shepherds, so I’m entirely comfortable with dogs of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. Why choose us? Experienced Hosts: We regularly look after our friends' and family’s dogs for day care or overnight stays, so hosting other dogs in our home is second nature to us. Incredible Walks: We’re lucky to have gorgeous country and riverside walks right on our doorstep. All 3 of us love being in the outdoors, so we can ensure your dog gets plenty of fresh air and exercise whatever the weather. Safety First: We have access to local enclosed dog fields (paid) if your fur baby needs a safer, secure space to run off lead. We’re happy to cater to individual dogs needs. Your dog will always be treated like one of our own! I’m available most weekends and have plenty of time to fit your dog into my routine, alongside Wilbur. They’ll join us on a long morning walk, usually through the countryside and farmers fields with plenty of space to sniff and play together. During the day there’s plenty of time to play in the house and garden (weather permitting!), and lots of time for an all important snooze before another evening walk. We have a fenced garden with plenty of grass space. Our own dog Wilbur will be more than happy to help look after and make your own dog feel welcome, comfortable and loved!
“Edwina (and partner) were absolutely brilliant. Smooth and regular communication throughout the whole process. And Django was very relaxed in their house! Would recommend to anyone!”
