About: Hi! I’m Eva, a 21-year-old Biomedical student currently on placement. My studies can be pretty full-on, so spending time with animals is honestly one of the best ways for me to unwind. I’ve grown up around pets and caring for them has always been a big part of my life. At home I have quite the little animal family myself two beautiful dogs, four cats, and three guinea pigs so I’m very used to different personalities, routines, and care needs. From energetic walks and playtime to quiet cuddles and feeding routines, I’m comfortable with it all. After studying animal management and dog-feline behaviour, I worked for many years with big cats as an ecologist. Since then, I worked in different areas of animal welfare feral animals and my favourite; wildlife rehabilitation. I have many years of experience caring for various species while working in the RSPCA and as part of other NGOs around the globe. I have a huge garden where we exercise from the geriatric dogs to the most active ones. This is needed, as we do not let any dogs off the lead when we take them for long walks, for security reasons.

“Orissa looked after my two Maine Coons while I was on holiday for a few days. This was my first time using rover so I wasn’t really sure what to expect and to be honest I was quite anxious. But after my meet and greet with Orissa, that all changed as she was so lovely to me and the boys and knew exactly what to do right away. While I was away Orissa would regularly send photos and write detailed reports of her visit which were so heartwarming. It reassured me and my partner that the boys were in the best hands. She took care of the boys so well, looking after their food, litter and also our house. When I came back the house was clean and tidy just how we left it. The boys seemed happy too as they had great company and someone to play with. Sometimes they can get lonely on their own so it’s nice to know there’s someone there for them. Overall, Orissa was amazing and would recommend to anyone who needs someone to take care of their furry babies while they’re away.”

About: I used to do agility training with my older dog. I'm also used to dealing with nervous dogs, who sound aggressive. I've helped in training my dogs for commands like sit, along with teaching them to move out of way and some tricks such as paw. I'm currently studying a full time uni course, with in person lectures on Wednesdays and Thursdays, so I have a lot of availability to take care of your dogs I will communicate well with the owner and follow their guidance by asking how they take care of their pet and replicate that because every pet is different. I will walk the dog on the lead, unless I am certain it will come back to me and I am in an enclosed area.

About: At the dog shelter, I would walk, feed and groom the dogs. I would also spend time with the dogs in their kennels, whilst cleaning their kennels. I’m looking for a side hustle, since at the moment it’s quite difficult finding a part-time job. So my schedule is very flexible and free. I love spending time with any animals, especially dogs, and I enjoy playing with them and trying to teach them new tricks. I’m not easily frightened by dogs and I can understand when a dog needs space, food or a walk.

About: After a health scare & with my boys being much older now, I completed an Animal Care course to gain additional knowledge in animal care. I had a Westie for 16 years & now have a Havachon that we have had for 10 years now. I have built up a good sized portfolio of regular dogs & cats through BARK providing walks, pop ins & stays. *Additional customer reviews can be found on BARK. I am available in the week to walk & the week/weekend to provide pop in visits & day stays at my house. I do go over to France four times per year as we have a small house out there, but this would be discussed with the pet owners. I am offering dog walking, pop ins & day visits to my house. I have looked after 8 dogs from tiny (miniature poodle) to large (Swiss Shepard) as well as 5 cats. 10 weeks of pet care and over 90 walks. I grew up in the countryside and I am comfortable with animals. Had dogs, a cat, gerbil, horse (for a short time), helped raising lambs one year … I am also 6’5” so I can handle larger dogs, I have a calm demeanor which helps animals settle with me and I have had no issues even with nervous dogs. About: I've taken care of dogs and cats for many years. I am a qualified veterinary nurse so have experience caring for a range of pets throughout different stages of there lifes. I am also happy to give any type of medication if your pets is to require any. I currently work full time in a vets 4 days a week, as I have a day off every tuesday. I am happy to pet sit throughout the week, after and before work. I am more than happy to also pet sit in my home if your pet is happy to be left during my working day. I am happy to care for your pets throughout the week in your home and in my home. I am however normally at work for 8 hours 4 days a week, so you'll need to be comfortable with me leaving them for that amount of time. I can however pop in on my lunch break too. I have a fenced in back garden and also live with another vet nurse who has a range of experience looking after pets too.
