Ming is a wonderful and loving pet sitter! She took amazing care of my two cats, YuenBo & ChuChai. YuenBo is usually very shy and afraid of strangers, but to my surprise, she felt comfortable enough to approach Ming! That really shows how gentle and kind she is. My other cat, ChuChai, also became friends with Ming and clearly enjoyed her company. Ming was attentive, patient, and truly dedicated to making sure both of my cats felt safe and loved. I’m so grateful for her care and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy sitter. Definitely will book again :)

About: I’ve had dogs since childhood and understand that they need security and love, along with exercise and great care. A warm happy household awaits your furry family member! I currently work from home and have easy access to the park across the road, where our dog goes for his daily walk. There are plenty of other longer walks available nearby, too. I have a large secure fenced garden, perfect for a doggy friend for Monty. Our dog Monty loves all other dogs, even nervous ones! and puts them at ease.

Devon was absolutely brilliant with Kuda. He was reliable, calm, and clearly confident with dogs, which put me at ease straight away. Kuda was well cared for, happy, and relaxed during the visits, and communication throughout was great. I really appreciated the updates and the care shown — it’s clear Devon genuinely loves what he does. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy and attentive sitter.

About: Hi 👋 and welcome! My name is Zaneta and I live with my partner Bart (your dogs love toy, he loves to play with every furry paw). I provide attentive, home-based dog care experience focused on making your dog feel truly safe, understood, and happy 💛 Animals have been a huge part of my life since childhood—I’ve cared for dogs, cats, horses, guinea pigs, and rabbits, and grew up surrounded by multiple pets. This gave me a deep, intuitive understanding of animal behaviour, needs, and emotional wellbeing. ✨ What makes my care different I don’t just “look after” dogs—I thoughtfully support them through the transition of being in a new environment. When your dog arrives, I guide them through a gentle onboarding process: • We explore the home room by room to avoid overwhelm • I allow them to settle at their own pace • We spend time in the garden playing or decompressing to release stress • We are active couple, so your dogs will always have enough exercise (walks) provided daily (at least 2 long walks a day in the park or fields) This helps your dog feel secure, not anxious—which is especially important for sensitive or first-time stays. 🐶 Experience & approach • Experience with dogs of different sizes, breeds, and temperaments • Confident handling of more sensitive or anxious dogs • Focus on emotional safety, routine, and personalised care • Calm, structured environment (no chaos or overcrowding) 💛 My priority Your dog won’t just be “watched”—they’ll be cared for with intention, patience, and genuine affection. I treat every dog as an individual, adapting to their personality, energy levels, and needs. 🐾 Daycare & Boarding Information • Flexible drop-off & pick-up times (to be agreed in advance) • Longer stays available upon request ✨ For first-time or longer stays, I recommend a short trial visit. This ensures your dog feels comfortable and confident in the space before staying longer. 🧳 What to bring To help your dog feel at home, please bring: • 🛏 Their bed (familiar scent = instant comfort) • 🍖 Food + Snacks for training • 🦮 Lead (short and long) • 🧸 Toys • 💊 Any medication if needed I genuinely love building trust with each dog and creating a space where they can relax, play, and feel at home 🐾 If you’re looking for someone who will understand your dog—not just supervise them—I’d love to help 💛 I work from home three times a week and have weekends off, allowing me to be fully present to care for your pets, keeping them entertained and providing them with the companionship they deserve. I also offer boarding services during weekend mornings and on my work-from-home days. My schedule is flexible, so I can easily adjust to accommodate your needs, ensuring your pets receive the best care when you need it most. I have a fully fenced, secure garden, providing a safe space where your pets can play and explore without the risk of wandering off. Rest assured, they will always be under close supervision to ensure their safety and well-being at all times.

Sarah sent us an update and pictures of the cats on each visit which made us feel comfortable knowing the cats were all OK at home. Many thanks again Sarah.

About: Hi! My name is Kaitlin:) I’m a 28 year old who’s been around both cats and dogs for as long as I can remember. I have also looked after friends and families pets along the way. My family dogs, both cocker spaniels, were with us from puppies to elders and our cat too, giving me the knowledge and experience to handle both and everything in between. I’ve cared for many animals over the years and know that each pet is completely unique with their own personality. I will treat your pet with all the love, care and respect I give to my own. I also know what it’s like to miss your pet when you go away for even the shortest amount of time, I’ll send regular updates on them to make sure you have a worry free trip. I do work full time but have the capacity to work from home. I can do drop ins and am happy to work around a schedule that you and your pet need. I’m also available most weekends too. I have a fenced garden where a dog would be safe to roam but they would need to get on with cats should they stay with us. I will follow your exact instructions and make sure your pets routines aren’t interrupted too much whilst you’re away.

About: I have babysat dogs since I was 13 it is my dream job and I hope to make a business one day, I love animals and It makes me so happy and gives me joy in the life doing something I love with the best and most loving animals. I do love my walks too I go very far in some beautiful places and atmospheres I love to give dogs the lovely experience on or off the lead. I also am a freelance photographer on the side of babysitting animals and serving pints, so if you ever want any photos, free of charge let me know and I will take some beautiful photos of your pets, if not that is totally fine, just an extra free service on the side for my portfolio and you can get some free lovely photos of your pets. Babysitting cats does fit really well into my schedule since I do work at a pub too but I do babysitting on the side so I don’t do as many shifts anymore. If you have a cat that is independent that doesn’t like interacting that is lovely and if you have one that loves cuddles and some love that is also perfect so either way I will always make time for them even if I’m at work. I care for pets in anyway the owner wants me to, I follow the rules and requirements any owner has, some cats like to be left alone and not interact and if I that’s the case I will give them the space they need but also try and make them comfortable around me. If a cat wants a lot of attention I will reciprocate that back to them and give them as much love as I can, I will spend time with them and make sure they get fed and they are taken care of as many times as the owner requires me to do.

About: Hey, I’m Malaya! 🐶 Having owned two dogs, a highly active working line German Shepherd, and a typical stubborn, snoozy Chow Chow, as well as dog walking professionally alongside a qualified dog trainer, I’ve gained plenty of experience working with dogs of all shapes, sizes and temperaments! I’m committed to providing reliable, loving pet care that’s tailored to the unique needs and routine of your pup. I aim to communicate with owners promptly, and as an avid photographer, my clients often receive high-quality pawtraits! Walks with me typically involve: - a lot of play! This play is an amazing way to encourage engagement - a lot of sniffing! Dogs use their noses for everything and there’s no way I’d stop that - a lot of rewards! Whether your dog is a foodie or a toy dog, or even just a verbal praise kind of pup, they’ll be getting lots of it! Creating high value in our relationship is so important - lots of water and lots of shade! We all know how hot summers in the UK can be, and so, in warm weather, we take a lot of breaks and practice some settling in the shade - up-keeping your training plan! While I am not a dog trainer professionally, I am more than happy to keep you any key elements of your dog’s training that you need! As a university student living in Beeston, I have a relatively flexible schedule and can give your pup the best whilst you’re away! I’d love the opportunity to work with you and your pup! Any questions, just shoot me a message and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible 😊 I currently attend university a few hours a week so I have plenty of time to dedicate to your pet! During all services, I seek to follow owner guidance in order to ensure a seamless experience for the pups, in order to maintain their regular routine and help them feel most comfortable! Please note that I will not offer drop-ins and/or overnight stays if anyone is home. This is for my personal safety. When looking after your pets in your home, I hope to be an extension of you personally! Please leave instructions for me to follow (unless verbally communicated) and I’ll be sure they’re done!

Very friendly, understanding and capable - we have older cats who are set in their ways and need particular attention. We had not tried a cat sitter drop in service before. We were slightly apprehensive about doing this for the first time until we met Charlotte at our ‘greet’ session when she quickly put us at ease. We had daily updates and feel she went beyond what we were expecting in caring for our cats We have absolutely no reservations about recommending Charlotte to anyone needing drop in sessions.

Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter trays. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialisation or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
