About: I’ve had dogs since childhood and understand that they need security and love, along with exercise and great care. A warm happy household awaits your furry family member! I currently work from home and have easy access to the park across the road, where our dog goes for his daily walk. There are plenty of other longer walks available nearby, too. I have a large secure fenced garden, perfect for a doggy friend for Monty. Our dog Monty loves all other dogs, even nervous ones! and puts them at ease.

Ming is a wonderful and loving pet sitter! She took amazing care of my two cats, YuenBo & ChuChai. YuenBo is usually very shy and afraid of strangers, but to my surprise, she felt comfortable enough to approach Ming! That really shows how gentle and kind she is. My other cat, ChuChai, also became friends with Ming and clearly enjoyed her company. Ming was attentive, patient, and truly dedicated to making sure both of my cats felt safe and loved. I’m so grateful for her care and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy sitter. Definitely will book again :)

Laura helped us out at very short notice with a drop in visit for our dog Rosco, and despite the tight notice even squeezed in a quick meet and greet before the actual visit - which I really appreciated. She kept me in the loop and sent update picture and messages. We'll definitely book again.

I recently had the pleasure of having Keishia look after my two cats, Lola and Oscar, and I couldn’t be more pleased with her care. From the start, she was professional, friendly, and clearly had a deep love for animals. She took the time to learn about their individual personalities and needs, ensuring they were both comfortable and well-cared for while I was away. She sent regular updates and pictures, which gave me peace of mind knowing they were in good hands. I would highly recommend Keishia to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate sitter for their pets. Our cats are already looking forward to their next visit!

About: Hi! My name is Kaitlin:) I’m a 28 year old who’s been around both cats and dogs for as long as I can remember. I have also looked after friends and families pets along the way. My family dogs, both cocker spaniels, were with us from puppies to elders and our cat too, giving me the knowledge and experience to handle both and everything in between. I’ve cared for many animals over the years and know that each pet is completely unique with their own personality. I will treat your pet with all the love, care and respect I give to my own. I also know what it’s like to miss your pet when you go away for even the shortest amount of time, I’ll send regular updates on them to make sure you have a worry free trip. I do work full time but have the capacity to work from home. I can do drop ins and am happy to work around a schedule that you and your pet need. I’m also available most weekends too. I have a fenced garden where a dog would be safe to roam but they would need to get on with cats should they stay with us. I will follow your exact instructions and make sure your pets routines aren’t interrupted too much whilst you’re away.

About: I've had dogs and cats all my life from little dogs to the big DDB kind and all those in between. I decided to turn what I love into my growing business. I'm DBS checked and pet first aid trained. I'm dog walking and sitting full time. So if your dog is at my home they'll just become another member of the family. I also have 2 boys aged 9 and 12 so dogs are well entertained and will be very loved while with us. Walks are taken at owners advice, so if your dog goes for 2 walks a day then they'll do that while with me. I do have a dog and a cat who get on with others. My cat actually doesnt care about others as long as they respect her space 😂We have a fenced off enclosed back garden. I am first aid trained and have a full DBS

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and have over 20 years of experience caring for them. I’m also a proud dog owner to Teddy, my friendly 2.5-year-old Cockapoo, and a cat owner to Pamda, my 10-year-old cat, so I truly understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet. I specialise in small group dog walks, making sure each dog gets plenty of attention, exercise and safe social time. I carefully match dogs based on size and temperament, so every walk is calm, fun and stress-free. I also offer drop-in visits for cats and other small pets, including feeding, fresh water, litter tray cleaning and giving them company while you’re away. I understand that cats have their own personalities and routines, and I take a calm, patient approach with them. I’m reliable, patient and genuinely love what I do — every pet in my care is treated like part of the family, not just another booking. I provide regular updates and photos, so you always know your pet is happy and well looked after. I have a flexible schedule, which allows me to provide consistent and reliable care for your pets. I’m available for dog walking and drop-in visits throughout the week, including mornings, afternoons and weekends. I plan my walks carefully to keep small, well-matched groups, ensuring each dog gets the time, attention and exercise they need. I’m also available for regular bookings or occasional visits, depending on your needs. Your pet’s safety and wellbeing are always my top priority. I take the time to understand each pet’s routine, personality and any specific needs before starting. For dog walks, I keep small, carefully matched groups and choose safe walking routes. Dogs are always kept under close supervision, and I can follow any specific instructions such as lead walking or avoiding certain areas. For home visits, I respect your home and keep everything clean, secure and exactly as you left it. I’m reliable, trustworthy and will always keep you updated with messages and photos.

About: Hi 👋 and welcome! My name is Zaneta and I live with my partner Bart (your dogs love toy, he loves to play with every furry paw). I provide attentive, home-based dog care experience focused on making your dog feel truly safe, understood, and happy 💛 Animals have been a huge part of my life since childhood—I’ve cared for dogs, cats, horses, guinea pigs, and rabbits, and grew up surrounded by multiple pets. This gave me a deep, intuitive understanding of animal behaviour, needs, and emotional wellbeing. ✨ What makes my care different I don’t just “look after” dogs—I thoughtfully support them through the transition of being in a new environment. When your dog arrives, I guide them through a gentle onboarding process: • We explore the home room by room to avoid overwhelm • I allow them to settle at their own pace • We spend time in the garden playing or decompressing to release stress • We are active couple, so your dogs will always have enough exercise (walks) provided daily (at least 2 long walks a day in the park or fields) This helps your dog feel secure, not anxious—which is especially important for sensitive or first-time stays. 🐶 Experience & approach • Experience with dogs of different sizes, breeds, and temperaments • Confident handling of more sensitive or anxious dogs • Focus on emotional safety, routine, and personalised care • Calm, structured environment (no chaos or overcrowding) 💛 My priority Your dog won’t just be “watched”—they’ll be cared for with intention, patience, and genuine affection. I treat every dog as an individual, adapting to their personality, energy levels, and needs. 🐾 Daycare & Boarding Information • Flexible drop-off & pick-up times (to be agreed in advance) • Longer stays available upon request ✨ For first-time or longer stays, I recommend a short trial visit. This ensures your dog feels comfortable and confident in the space before staying longer. 🧳 What to bring To help your dog feel at home, please bring: • 🛏 Their bed (familiar scent = instant comfort) • 🍖 Food + Snacks for training • 🦮 Lead (short and long) • 🧸 Toys • 💊 Any medication if needed I genuinely love building trust with each dog and creating a space where they can relax, play, and feel at home 🐾 If you’re looking for someone who will understand your dog—not just supervise them—I’d love to help 💛 I work from home three times a week and have weekends off, allowing me to be fully present to care for your pets, keeping them entertained and providing them with the companionship they deserve. I also offer boarding services during weekend mornings and on my work-from-home days. My schedule is flexible, so I can easily adjust to accommodate your needs, ensuring your pets receive the best care when you need it most. I have a fully fenced, secure garden, providing a safe space where your pets can play and explore without the risk of wandering off. Rest assured, they will always be under close supervision to ensure their safety and well-being at all times.

Ione is an absolute angel! We feel so at ease leaving our older cat in her care. He had vomited while we were away this time and Ione dealt with it so professionally, let us know what had happened and tidied it all up. We trust her to make sure he's happy and cared for, and she is so good with reading cat body language etc. Thank you so much!!

About: What sets me apart is my genuine love for animals and the range of experience I’ve built over the years. I grew up with both a dog and a cat and was always the one responsible for their daily care. This gave me a strong sense of responsibility and taught me how important consistency and patience are. I also volunteered at an animal shelter, where I cared for dogs of all ages, breeds, and temperaments. Some were shy, some excitable, and others more challenging - but I learnt how to adapt and make each one feel comfortable and safe. These days, I often look after my sister’s two dogs (one of them quite a handful!) and occasionally pet sit for friends’ cats and dogs. I’m confident managing pets with big personalities and always follow routines carefully. Above all, I treat every dog as if they were my own, making sure they feel loved, safe, and happy while their owners are away. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine because I have a flexible job that allows me to plan my time around walks, feeds, and visits. I love being outdoors and walking, so taking dogs out for exercise is something I genuinely enjoy. At the same time, I’m equally happy to spend quiet time at home with pets who prefer company and comfort over long walks. Whether it’s playtime, cuddles, or just being there so they’re not alone, I can easily adapt my day to fit the needs of each pet. When caring for pets, I always follow their usual routine for feeding, walks, play, and litter tray cleaning, so they feel safe and comfortable. I’m patient with all personalities - from playful puppies to independent cats - and adapt to what each pet needs, whether that’s energetic exercise, cuddles, or quiet company. At home, I have a secure fenced garden in a calm suburban area, perfect for dogs to enjoy fresh air and a relaxed environment for cats. I also keep owners updated with photos and messages, so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for.

We couldn’t have asked for a better cat sitter than Laura! She followed everything we requested and took great care of our cats, even when they weren’t always around to be seen. She was reliable, attentive, and kept us reassured while we were away. Most importantly, our cats absolutely took a liking to Laura, which really says it all! They clearly felt comfortable and happy in her care. We came home knowing they had been well looked after, and we would happily recommend Laura to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy cat sitter.

Very friendly, understanding and capable - we have older cats who are set in their ways and need particular attention. We had not tried a cat sitter drop in service before. We were slightly apprehensive about doing this for the first time until we met Charlotte at our ‘greet’ session when she quickly put us at ease. We had daily updates and feel she went beyond what we were expecting in caring for our cats We have absolutely no reservations about recommending Charlotte to anyone needing drop in sessions.

There are 974 sitters on Rover for Cat Sitting in Broxtowe. About 90% of Broxtowe sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter trays. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialisation or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
