“Nikolett is amazing with the dogs. She is professional and very attentive. We had a meet and greet beforehand and she was definitely loved by the dogs too. Would definitely recommend Nikolett.”

“Natalie was lovely. We had a meet and greet visit to get to know my cats and for me to meet her and explain a few things. I found her trustworthy, understood and reliable. Definitely use her services again. Thank you 🙏”

“I would recommend Jerry 100%! Excellent communication, sending us photos and videos when he called in to see Kat. She's very shy so Jerry put in the effort to let her slowly feel comfortable around him. Will definitely ask Jerry to Kat-sit again!”

“I would highly recommend Mikki for your pet sitting services. Response was very quick for our last minute sitting needs. We have never had a cat sitter before and Mikki made me feel reassured and confident that she would be perfect. Mikki is very knowledgeable, kind and and you can tell she loves animals! Mikki was prompt for the visit and took many photos and videos which we loved! Thank-you so much Mikki we will definitely be booking you again. ☺️”

“Very new to Rover. Tasha has been great, in terms of communicating to arrange booking and working with me to ensure the cat visits go smoothly. I also received regular updates, photos and videos of Zeus whilst on holiday. After experiencing a few cat sitters who had let me down due to poor / no communication, Tasha has been great and would certainly be considering using again.”

“Holly l did home visits with our two cats for a week while we were away. She visited them every day and took time to not only feed them but to spend time with them socialising. She kept us updated with daily photos and also offered to water plants and feed our fish. She was very attentive , friendly and always responded quickly to any communications . We would definitely ask Holly to look after our cats again.”

About: Hi! My name is Tia, I’m a 22-year-old animal lover with a passion for caring for pets. I love feeding, walking, playing, and spending time with animals. I’m friendly, patient, and animals tend to trust me quickly. I hold a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Animal Management and a DBS check as well as years of hands-on experience with pets, both through my studies and caring for my own family’s dogs. At my parents’ home, we have an energetic English Springer Spaniel named Nugget and a sweet Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Lana, so I’m very used to different personalities and needs. I offer boarding, walking, sitting, day care, and drop-ins - all with the guarantee that your pets will feel safe, happy, and loved. Okay, here's that message expanded to 29 words: I'm currently working full-time, so my availability can vary quite a bit. Please reach out to me directly for my most up to date schedule! When pets are in my care, their safety and comfort always come first. In my home, I create a calm and welcoming environment where pets can relax and feel at ease. I keep spaces tidy and secure so they are safe at all times. When caring for pets in their own home, I follow their normal routines closely, from feeding to playtime, so they feel settled and comfortable. I also make sure their environment is clean and safe, and I always give regular updates to owners for peace of mind.
“Elizabeth was wonderful with Mickey, she’s very organised and setting the days and time up was incredibly easy! She was great with our dog even with his bounciness. Thank you for looking after Mickey and we would definitely recommend Elizabeth for house sitting 😊”

About: In my years, I have helped look after dogs (including helping my mum with our labrador's litters), cats (including my cat giving birth under my bed and raising the kittens until they were ready to go to their new homes), guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, gerbils, fish and even a snake! I love all animals and never feel a home is fully complete without at least one! I have a zero-hours contract job and a child for whom I share custody on a 50/50 basis. I have availability during school hours, evenings and alternate weekends. If you are happy for my son to be a part of the pet boarding/sitting process, then I would have more frequent availability. In whatever capacity I am entrusted to care for your pets, I will listen to, and follow, all of your instructions. I will give your animals the same level of care, attention and love that you give them and will work with you to ensure a successful service is provided.
About: I’ve always been surrounded by animals and have cared for both dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes; from playful pups to senior companions who need extra patience and love. I will only be caring for pets in their own home, where they feel safe and comfortable. I’ll make sure harnesses, collars, and leads are always fitted correctly before walks, keep your home clean and tidy during visits, and refresh food and water bowls as needed. I’ll also stick closely to your pet’s normal diet and routine, so everything feels familiar and stress-free while you’re away!

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I have been horse riding since I could walk, and I’ve dreamt of being a Vet since I could talk. Although my career path has changed, my love for animals has not. I currently have a dog and a cat of my own, which I have had since they were babies, and now I am looking after them in their senior years. My dog currently has heart disease, due to genetic issues, so I am experienced in administering medication. My cat, although she is old, she is still as fiesta as ever. She has not taught me how to administer medication, but other skills such as patience. I’m currently working full time as an apprentice in supply chain compliance. This allows me to be flexible with my working as I am working from home majority of the week. I also have flexible working times so can finish my hours later/earlier than a rigid working week. My dog got a daily walk due to him being little and older, he doesn’t walk very far (he chooses when to go back). He suffered from heart disease- a genetic disorder, so I administered medicine to his twice daily every 12 hours. My cat on the other hand is very low maintenance, but loves a cuddle and spend majority of the day sleeping in my room.

About: I’ve grown up around lots of dogs. My dads always had between two and six so as kid walking 3 white German shepards at a time was a good start. I’ve cared for 3 dogs the last two years walking them everyday, one being elderly and needing extra care. Whenever I’m out or round a friends house if there’s a dog I will be playing with it. I’ve been told and feel I have an affinity with dogs so making this a bigger part of my life would be a dream. Nearly 4 years ago I sold my place to move into a van this has allowed to follow my passion, dogs. I can’t tell you how lucky I feel when I’m out with a dog I get on well with. I feel I can communicate with dogs as many have told me I’m their best friend. Now summer is here I play cricket so Saturday day I will be unavailable. I’ve taken care of a wide range of dogs and understand their different needs. I’ve sat for an XL Bully to my dad’s six King Charles Spaniels. One of the dogs I walk I take for longer than I should but the dog needs it so she gets it. I speak to all dogs and feel that they understand the intent behind your words. I have lots of free time and I’m very punctual.
Derby cat owners share their Rover experiences
Lyndsey was brilliant and I don’t know how she isn’t a star sitter. Chloe isn’t the easiest to look after as she is an elderly cat with the start of feline dementia and doesn’t venture outside now. She can be quite needy and impatient and is very good at spreading her litter around! However we came back to a very content a healthy looking tabby. Lyndsey kept us updated with photos and I feel Chloe really took to her. We have full trust in Lyndsey and would not hesitate to use her again as it’s so reassuring we know Chloe is in safe hands. Thank you once again Lyndsey.
Mikki was absolutely amazing and I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for someone to care for their pets. She was open with her communication, she sent us daily updates, and she even managed to get our most shy cat to come out and eat, which is a huge achievement! Her pricing was very reasonable as well

Excellent sitter, gave me a great peace of mind when we went away for the weekend. My cats were very well looked after and really liked you ❤️ will definitely re book again for our September week away holiday 🙏 thankyou again! Really enjoyed the updates and playful pictures.

Lovely and reliable sitter. This trip has been cancelled but Katie did drop-in visits to look after our indoor kitties 🐱Lucy & 🐱Charlie on our previous trips. Such a relief to know they're on safe hands during our absence. Highly recommend Katie to any other cat owners.🐾🐱💕

Leah was amazing. Friendly and professional, was very good at communicating and sent great updates through the app. Our two lovely cats Were in great hands with Leah. 10/10 would definitely recommend and if we need a sitter again we will definitely be booking her in.

Holly l did home visits with our two cats for a week while we were away. She visited them every day and took time to not only feed them but to spend time with them socialising.
