About: **I have hands-on experience with dogs, cats and other small pets through dog grooming, pet retail, animal welfare support, and personal pet ownership. I currently share my home with two friendly dogs and two cats, and I regularly care for friends' pets. I'm confident handling pets with a wide range of personalities and needs and I take a calm, patient approach to help them feel safe, comfortable, and secure.** **My experience includes helping to rehome animals, supporting local welfare initiatives, and working alongside a veterinary practice on animal welfare and community education projects. I'm DBS checked, trained in pet first aid through professional grooming courses, and committed to providing the same level of care and attention I'd want for my own pets.** **As a qualified dog groomer, I can also offer puppy introduction sessions, bath-and-tidy appointments, and full grooms during your dog's stay. Grooming sessions are tailored to each dog and carried out at a relaxed pace, with plenty of breaks and positive reinforcement to keep the experience as enjoyable and stress-free as possible.** **To provide the best experience for every guest, I only accept small dogs who are friendly with cats and comfortable in a home environment. My goal is to create a true home-from-home where dogs can relax, play, enjoy companionship, and feel part of the family while you're away. Whether your dog loves adventures, playtime, cuddles on the sofa, or simply a quiet place to unwind, they'll receive plenty of individual attention, affection, and care.** **I want every dog who stays with me to be excited to come back—a place where they can have fun, feel safe, and enjoy their own little holiday while you enjoy yours. We are lucky to have great walks on our doorstep and are frequent visitors of secure doggy parks nearby so no dogs will be bored here!** I work from home, so I'm here throughout the day. Pets staying with us become part of our daily life, rather than being left alone for long periods. Walks, playtime, cuddles, rest breaks, and any grooming appointments can be tailored around each dog’s individual needs and routine. I live with two small, friendly dogs and two cats in a home with secure, fenced front and back gardens, with a gate between them for flexibility. The house is at the end of a private driveway, with no streets directly outside, and fields nearby with plenty of wildlife to observe. I only accept small dogs who are comfortable around cats and enjoy a home environment. I want dogs staying with me to feel as though they’re on holiday rather than in kennels. I can quickly separate dogs if needed, keep pets separate for meals or rest time, and follow any routines or instructions owners provide. Having worked with many different animals, including nervous and rescue pets, I’m happy to go at their pace and help them settle in comfortably.
“Our rescue staffie Daisy had a great second visit to Sam's house for doggy day care, we received lots of lovely updates and Sam is so friendly. We have now booked Daisy in for a weekend stay as we know she'll be so well cared for!”

“Paula and John looked after my little dog Panzer at short notice. I felt very at ease as he was well welcomed into their home with cuddles and treats! They took excellent care of him and he came back happy and tired after a lovely long walk. I would happily recommend and wouldn't hesitate to bring him back for another visit!”

“Sinead was amazing to look after moose. As it was last minute booking no meet or greet was completed but Sinead kept me up to date with what was going on. Moose did decide to eat something he shouldn't have during zoomies but she notified me straight away and came to a resolution together. ❤️❤️ Thank you Sinead!”

“Took care of my boy for a day, provided pictures and communicated well with pictures provided during the stay. Cara did an amazing job of settling Ein in and he was so sad to leave. Highly recommend.”

“Absolutely brilliant! No worries at all first time leaving our new dog we’ve only had 14 weeks. Feel confident to leave Reg now with Samantha and her lovely husband for our four night trip in May.”

“Teddy had the best time with Bex! As soon as we arrived to drop Teddy off for the day, we instantly felt comfortable and confident with leaving Teddy knowing he was going to be in good hands. The updates from Bex throughout the day were great and we could see how happy Teddy was. We’re already planning to use Bex again - would highly recommend!”

About: Hey there, I’m Millie! I’m 24 years old and I’ve been mad about animals ever since I was little. To me, pets are like family and there are no two ways about it. I have my own cat, and I’ve looked after and walked dogs of all ages/sizes, so I have plenty of experience in caring for pets. I’m a full time midwife, part time pet sitter. I’m a trustworthy, patient, compassionate and understanding individual who just loves to spend time with all kinds of furbabies. I’m flexible and able to travel. I enjoy dog walks as much as I enjoy a dog’s company. I can guarantee that your pet will be loved and well cared for. I am currently free most days and for the majority of those days, so I will have plenty of time to play with your pups! I generally spend a lot of my time bonding with pets and earning their trust. I like to encourage tricks and play, as well as a good walk (or two). I prompt toilet breaks often throughout the day to ensure that any accidents can be avoided. As much as I love to go outside and endorse exercise/play, I also love just spending time petting and relaxing with pets I look after.
“Many thanks to Charlotte for looking after Archie and Ralph so well yesterday. They came back very chilled out and clearly well looked after during the day. We will have no hesitation in asking Charlotte to look after them again.”

About: I care for every dog as if it were my own. I live and breathe dogs - they are my life and I love nothing more than doggy company and seeing them run around with each other chasing a ball and having lots of fun! I am pet First Aid trained and DBS checked. I also hold a 5 star Dog Boarding licence. I work from home so someone is always around meaning your dog will get plenty of fuss and attention whilst you’re away. Snuggles on the sofa in the evening are a must! I am available all days of the week. I have a large secure garden and two friendly dogs to keep your dog company and enjoy lots of play time and fun! We also have cameras at the front and back or our property as well as a lockable gate to the garden.

Tom saved me a lot of bother when I was at an event and Jolly wasn't allowed! Met me at the station, spent the whole day with Jolly, took him on a long walk, and met me outside the hotel to drop him off. Couldn't have been better. Next time I'm in Derby, expect another booking if you're free! Thanks again :)

**⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Home Away From Home!** I needed a sitter for my Labrador, Theo, for two days and could not have been happier with our experience with Elle. Despite not having a prior meet-and-greet, she was incredibly welcoming and communicative from the start. Elle and her mom together provided such a warm, homely environment for Theo and truly treated him like one of their own. It was so comforting to know he wasn't just being looked after, but was being welcomed into a family. Elle sent regular photo updates, and I could see just how happy and relaxed Theo was in their care. I returned to a very content dog. It's clear that Elle's genuine love for animals is a family trait. I am so grateful for their kindness and would absolutely rebook without hesitation. I highly recommend Elle to anyone looking for a truly caring and family-oriented sitter for their pet! Thank you so much, Elle (and mom!), for everything

Sam is amazing with our dog Daisy, she truly treats her like her own and we are always so pleased when she is available to care for her whether that be while we are at work or for weekends away. She listens to all instructions and we receive lots of lovely and funny updates of what our girl has been up to 🙂 thanks Sam!!
