About: Animals have always been part of our lives — one of us grew up surrounded by cats, the other by dogs — so caring for pets feels completely natural to us. As teenagers, we were the neighbourhood dog walkers, trusted to handle everything from quick midday walks to long adventures with energetic pups. We’ve raised our own pets too, and we’ve both had to say goodbye to elderly companions who needed slower walks, gentle reassurance, and lots of love in their final years. Because we work from home (and I have summers free as a teacher), we can offer flexible walking times that fit your dog’s routine. We love getting to know each dog’s personality and making sure they feel comfortable and secure. Whether your dog wants a fast-paced outing, a steady confidence‑boosting stroll, or a calm sniff‑filled wander, we’ll make sure they feel happy and cared for every step of the way. We have loads of time for pet care during the day. One of us works from home, so there’s always someone around, and with me being a teacher, I get long holidays that make our schedule even more flexible. It means we can fit walks, playtime, and company around your pet’s routine without rushing. We’re in our mid‑20s with no pets or children, and we have plenty of daytime availability — one of us works from home and I have lots of holidays as a teacher. Our garden is a good size and fully secure, giving dogs a safe space alongside their walks.
“Gayle offered such a loving and welcoming home for our 1 year old cockapoo. He had such a lovely day, she took him on an amazing walk where we saw lions! Gayle bought treats for him too! She was very attentive, and we couldn’t have been happier!! Thank you!”

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and have over 20 years of experience caring for them. I’m also a proud dog owner to Teddy, my friendly 2.5-year-old Cockapoo, and a cat owner to Pamda, my 10-year-old cat, so I truly understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet. I specialise in small group dog walks, making sure each dog gets plenty of attention, exercise and safe social time. I carefully match dogs based on size and temperament, so every walk is calm, fun and stress-free. I also offer drop-in visits for cats and other small pets, including feeding, fresh water, litter tray cleaning and giving them company while you’re away. I understand that cats have their own personalities and routines, and I take a calm, patient approach with them. I’m reliable, patient and genuinely love what I do — every pet in my care is treated like part of the family, not just another booking. I provide regular updates and photos, so you always know your pet is happy and well looked after. I have a flexible schedule, which allows me to provide consistent and reliable care for your pets. I’m available for dog walking and drop-in visits throughout the week, including mornings, afternoons and weekends. I plan my walks carefully to keep small, well-matched groups, ensuring each dog gets the time, attention and exercise they need. I’m also available for regular bookings or occasional visits, depending on your needs. Your pet’s safety and wellbeing are always my top priority. I take the time to understand each pet’s routine, personality and any specific needs before starting. For dog walks, I keep small, carefully matched groups and choose safe walking routes. Dogs are always kept under close supervision, and I can follow any specific instructions such as lead walking or avoiding certain areas. For home visits, I respect your home and keep everything clean, secure and exactly as you left it. I’m reliable, trustworthy and will always keep you updated with messages and photos.

“I was very nervous about leaving Tucker with anyone, as he is a very anxious dog around both people and other dogs. From the very beginning, Chloe’s communication was fantastic. She was happy to meet beforehand and do a meet-and-greet so Tucker could be introduced in a calm, relaxed way, which immediately put me at ease. The way Chloe interacted with Tucker made me feel comfortable straight away. When we dropped him off yesterday, her communication continued to be excellent. She kept me updated on how he was settling in and sent regular updates throughout the day, including lots of photos, which I really appreciated. I will definitely be using Chloe again. In fact, I’ve already booked her for next month and plan to continue doing so to help Tucker build familiarity and confidence. We’ll then be introducing overnight stays, which will make such a difference for us as a family, knowing we finally have a reliable and caring person to look after him when needed.”

“First stay with Jamie and hopefully will not be the last. My dog was very well cared for and he was content on picking up. Jamie and his partner were considerate and made sure they understood his behaviours. I would happily leave my dog in their care again.”

I am happy to adapt to your pet’s usual routine, including how often they go for walks and how long they are used to being out. I understand how important consistency is for pets, so I will always do my best to make them feel comfortable, cared for, and at ease. In my home, pets have a safe and comfortable environment where they can feel relaxed and well cared for. I have a closed patio that gives them a bit more freedom and space, and I also live close to two parks, which is great for walks, exercise, and giving them some variety in their routine. I genuinely enjoy having pets around the house and making them feel welcome, calm, and loved. When caring for pets in an owner’s home, I like to adapt as much as possible to their usual routine and environment. I know pets feel most comfortable when things stay familiar, so I always try to keep their walks, feeding, and general routine as close as possible to what they are used to. My goal is always to make them feel safe, happy, and at ease.

Jerry had such a lovely time @ Rosie’s home. He has made friends for life and can’t wait to rebook for our next adventure. We were sent videos, photos and updates through this visit which made us feel relaxed he was in safe hands. Since we have gotten Jerry home he’s has been tired out having such fun with the girls and Jerry got to do something new today walkies along the canal. I would highly recommend and feel the girls are worth more for their time & care. Love Tasha, William & Jerry.

Patrycja was amazing with our dog Enola. She really took time to think how she would settle in and was very accommodating with her being nervous of another dog. She has a lovely home and I’d definitely use her again. She sent lots of photos and was great at communicating during the daycare.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
