About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and have over 20 years of experience caring for them. I’m also a proud dog owner to Teddy, my friendly 2.5-year-old Cockapoo, and a cat owner to Pamda, my 10-year-old cat, so I truly understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet. I specialise in small group dog walks, making sure each dog gets plenty of attention, exercise and safe social time. I carefully match dogs based on size and temperament, so every walk is calm, fun and stress-free. I also offer drop-in visits for cats and other small pets, including feeding, fresh water, litter tray cleaning and giving them company while you’re away. I understand that cats have their own personalities and routines, and I take a calm, patient approach with them. I’m reliable, patient and genuinely love what I do — every pet in my care is treated like part of the family, not just another booking. I provide regular updates and photos, so you always know your pet is happy and well looked after. I have a flexible schedule, which allows me to provide consistent and reliable care for your pets. I’m available for dog walking and drop-in visits throughout the week, including mornings, afternoons and weekends. I plan my walks carefully to keep small, well-matched groups, ensuring each dog gets the time, attention and exercise they need. I’m also available for regular bookings or occasional visits, depending on your needs. Your pet’s safety and wellbeing are always my top priority. I take the time to understand each pet’s routine, personality and any specific needs before starting. For dog walks, I keep small, carefully matched groups and choose safe walking routes. Dogs are always kept under close supervision, and I can follow any specific instructions such as lead walking or avoiding certain areas. For home visits, I respect your home and keep everything clean, secure and exactly as you left it. I’m reliable, trustworthy and will always keep you updated with messages and photos.
“Gayle offered such a loving and welcoming home for our 1 year old cockapoo. He had such a lovely day, she took him on an amazing walk where we saw lions! Gayle bought treats for him too! She was very attentive, and we couldn’t have been happier!! Thank you!”

“Natalie was fantastic with my dog. I visited to check that my dog was a good fit and she was. Pearl came home tired and slept the car ride and for the rest of the night (must have enjoyed herself a lot). Natalie double checked the care requirements and ensured that the best care was provided for my dog. I have already booked for a weekly visit and look forward to seeing many more pictures of Pearl enjoying herself.”

“This was a last minute booking for day care with Melissa but as Arthur had previously stayed overnight, I was comfortable that he would be well looked after. As before, communication was great and Arthur enjoyed the company of Melissa and Rollo. I would definitely recommend and will use Melissa again, should Arthur need looking after 🐕🦺”

About: Animals have always been part of our lives — one of us grew up surrounded by cats, the other by dogs — so caring for pets feels completely natural to us. As teenagers, we were the neighbourhood dog walkers, trusted to handle everything from quick midday walks to long adventures with energetic pups. We’ve raised our own pets too, and we’ve both had to say goodbye to elderly companions who needed slower walks, gentle reassurance, and lots of love in their final years. Because we work from home (and I have summers free as a teacher), we can offer flexible walking times that fit your dog’s routine. We love getting to know each dog’s personality and making sure they feel comfortable and secure. Whether your dog wants a fast-paced outing, a steady confidence‑boosting stroll, or a calm sniff‑filled wander, we’ll make sure they feel happy and cared for every step of the way. We have loads of time for pet care during the day. One of us works from home, so there’s always someone around, and with me being a teacher, I get long holidays that make our schedule even more flexible. It means we can fit walks, playtime, and company around your pet’s routine without rushing. We’re in our mid‑20s with no pets or children, and we have plenty of daytime availability — one of us works from home and I have lots of holidays as a teacher. Our garden is a good size and fully secure, giving dogs a safe space alongside their walks.

I will respect your home whilst I keep company to your pet. I will follow your instructions on how to get to your house and look after your pet.
“Toby loved his first stay and can’t wait to have more, two walks, cuddles and treats. Jordan and her parents are brilliant and Toby was so well looked after. Pictures and updates were fab x”

“Nick does a fantastic job of looking after Bailey. Bailey is cared for well and given all the fuss he wants, and he is a fuss pot. We receive regular photos of Bailey during the day and updates. He is thorough in making sure he knows everything he needs to know about your dog. Highly recommend Nick and very glad to have him to look after Bailey when we can't.”

About: I’ve take care of dog and cat since I born. I have take care of them everyday. I know most of the skill for them. I usually help friend and neighbour take care their pet when they’re busy Pet care is an integral part of my daily and weekly routine. I schedule dedicated time to meet the basic needs of pets, including feeding, cleaning, exercise, and interaction. Typically, my daily or weekly routine includes: 1. **Feeding Schedule**: I set a fixed feeding schedule based on the pet's dietary habits and requirements. This includes morning, afternoon, and evening feeding times to ensure pets receive adequate nutrition and hydration. 2. **Regular Cleaning**: I regularly clean the pet's water bowls, food dishes, and litter boxes to maintain cleanliness and hygiene. This helps prevent the growth of bacteria and odors, ensuring the pet's health and comfort. 3. **Daily Exercise**: I allocate time each day to provide pets with sufficient exercise and activity, such as walks, playtime, or physical activities. This helps pets expend energy, stay healthy, and reduce anxiety and behavioral issues. 4. **Social Interaction**: I spend time engaging in social interaction with pets, including playing, petting, training, and learning new skills. This helps strengthen our bond and enhances the pet's happiness and trust. As a pet sitter, I provide personalized care for pets either in my own home or in the pet owner's home, depending on the service requested. Here's how I typically care for pets in each setting: 1. **In My Own Home**: - Provide a safe and comfortable environment for pets to stay. - Maintain a consistent feeding schedule with nutritious meals tailored to each pet's dietary needs. - Ensure pets have access to fresh water at all times. - Provide daily exercise and playtime, including walks, outdoor activities, and interactive games. - Administer any necessary medication or supplements as prescribed by the pet owner or veterinarian. - Keep living spaces clean and tidy, including litter box maintenance for cats. - Offer plenty of love, attention, and affection to make pets feel at home and reduce any anxiety or stress. 2. **In the Pet Owner's Home**: - Follow the pet owner's instructions regarding feeding, exercise, and care routines. - Respect the pet owner's home and maintain cleanliness and orderliness. - Provide companionship and social interaction, including playtime and cuddles. - Keep the home secure by ensuring doors, windows, and gates are properly closed and locked. - Monitor the pet's health and behavior for any changes or concerns, and communicate promptly with the pet owner. - Follow any specific instructions for the care of other pets, plants, or household tasks as requested by the pet owner. Overall, whether caring for pets in my own home or the pet owner's home, my priority is to ensure the well-being, comfort, and happiness of the pets under my care. I strive to provide a safe, nurturing environment where pets can thrive and feel loved, whether they are with me for a short stay or an extended period.
“Extremely pleased with Ben. He was polite and professional, and more importantly, the dogs loved him. We instantly felt we could trust him in our home and with our dogs. We will definitely recommend him to friends. However, I found the Rover website annoying to navigate, time-consuming, and too constricting. The payment details were, I feel, deliberately confusing. I think I've been overcharged but will wait until I have the time, strength and energy to attempt to contact them about this issue! Unfortunately, I will not be using Rover again and only hope Ben is registered with another website.”

“Silvia took good care of our Bella when she stayed for the day. Bella enjoyed playing with Silvia’s dog Milo and she came home happy & tired. Would be happy to leave Bella with Silvia and her family again. Communication was excellent from Silvia and she would always reply quickly.”

About: I’ve had dogs since childhood and understand that they need security and love, along with exercise and great care. A warm happy household awaits your furry family member! I currently work from home and have easy access to the park across the road, where our dog goes for his daily walk. There are plenty of other longer walks available nearby, too. I have a large secure fenced garden, perfect for a doggy friend for Monty. Our dog Monty loves all other dogs, even nervous ones! and puts them at ease.
“I was very nervous about leaving Tucker with anyone, as he is a very anxious dog around both people and other dogs. From the very beginning, Chloe’s communication was fantastic. She was happy to meet beforehand and do a meet-and-greet so Tucker could be introduced in a calm, relaxed way, which immediately put me at ease. The way Chloe interacted with Tucker made me feel comfortable straight away. When we dropped him off yesterday, her communication continued to be excellent. She kept me updated on how he was settling in and sent regular updates throughout the day, including lots of photos, which I really appreciated. I will definitely be using Chloe again. In fact, I’ve already booked her for next month and plan to continue doing so to help Tucker build familiarity and confidence. We’ll then be introducing overnight stays, which will make such a difference for us as a family, knowing we finally have a reliable and caring person to look after him when needed.”

Patrycja was amazing with our dog Enola. She really took time to think how she would settle in and was very accommodating with her being nervous of another dog. She has a lovely home and I’d definitely use her again. She sent lots of photos and was great at communicating during the daycare.

- Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
- Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
- Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
- Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes

Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
