Megan has been just perfect, she was super friendly, accommodating and looked after our dog wonderfully. She kept us up to date and sent regular pictures to show how much of a good time he was having. We will 100% be booking future daycare and overnights with Megan for sure. Megan thank you so much for taking care of our boy, we are so pleased he now has a new girlfriend too! :)

About: Hi! I’m Jade, a huge animal lover who has grown up around dogs and horses my whole life. I offer fun, safe walks and loving home-from-home stays. Dogs in my care get plenty of exercise, attention and cuddles, and I always treat them like part of the family. I’m confident with dogs of all sizes, especially larger breeds, and I’m used to strong, energetic dogs who love a good adventure. At home your dog will be welcomed into a calm, loving environment with my friendly dog Reggie. I also have a young 5 year old son who has grown up around animals and is very gentle with them. Whether it’s a walk, daycare or a sleepover, my goal is always the same — a happy, safe and tired pup by the end of the day! My day starts early with breakfast around 8am before the school run. I do the school drop-off at 8:30am and I’m back home by 9am ready for morning walks and pet care. Late mornings are usually spent out walking, playing and giving dogs plenty of exercise and attention. Lunch is around 12pm followed by more walks or outdoor time, depending on the dog’s needs. My partner works from home, so there is almost always someone in the house during the day which means dogs are rarely left alone. In the afternoon and early evening we head out for more walks before dinner around 5:30pm. Evenings are relaxed with cuddles, settling down and a final toilet break or short walk before bedtime around 10pm. Your dog will be treated like part of the family and included in our daily routine Your dog’s safety, happiness and comfort are always my top priorities. I provide a calm, loving home environment where dogs are treated like part of the family. I’m confident handling dogs of all sizes and personalities and always take the time to understand each dog’s routine, behaviour and needs. Walks are carried out safely using secure leads and suitable walking routes, with plenty of exercise, attention and fresh water. At home, dogs have space to relax and settle wherever they feel comfortable. My partner works from home, so there is almost always someone in the house, meaning dogs are rarely left alone. I also have a friendly dog at home who is used to being around other dogs. In addition, I have a young child who has grown up around animals and is very gentle with them, so I do ask that any dogs staying with us are friendly and comfortable around children. I’m always happy to arrange a meet and greet before a booking so both you and your dog can feel completely comfortable and confident they’re in safe hands.

I’ve booked with Hayley and Pete a few times now and I wouldn’t want my furry friend to go anywhere else. Lots of love, care, and fun walks, and it’s real peace of mind to know he’s with such a lovely family. I would highly recommend. Graham, Hazel, Michael and Snoops. 🐶

For a first time ever at daycare I'm really pleased. Obi is a nervous little guy sometimes and Dilma and co. really helped Obi feel comfortable. He even had a little nap which I was surprised at. I didn't know if he was going to be able to settle in a strange environment. Will definitely be coming back for another play day x

About: I work from home doing an admin based job, and I’d love to break my day up visiting and looking after peoples furry family members! I got my first pets at 13, two cats called Fifi and Coco, and they’re now 17 years old and living their best lives as the princesses of the family! I’m now 29 and I’ve now added two dogs to my family. I’ve got an almost 2year old Labrador called Bea and an almost 1year old Weimaraner called Bear. All of my furry family members are my chosen family and I don’t know what I would do without them! They are truly what makes me smile the most everyday! Although I have no formal training, I do carry out their nail clipping (both the cats and the dogs), brushing, grooming, medication administration, and ear and eye cleaning! I also shower my dogs at home, but the cats don’t appreciate it so they’re let off bath time! I have also looked after my friends dogs a couple of times on extended stays. They have a male and a female Weimaraner. But my latest stay consisted of house sitting whilst they went on holiday, and I stayed to look after their two adult dogs and five puppies, and I took Bea with me. So a whole week on my own with eight dogs!! I work for myself at home so my schedule is fairly flexible, I’m able to take on some same day bookings depending on my workload, but I would love to ‘collect’ some regular drop ins and dog walks to make my admin days more enjoyable and to get me out of the house and moving! I live in a 2 bed house, with a garden! I also live close to lots of local green spaces which my dog loves running round. My girl is dog friendly and calm natured so would be very happy to keep your dogs company on walks, but equally she’s happy to be left when needed!

Barkley went to Jane again today and, as always, had a wonderful time with her and her two dogs. We love how happy and settled he is in Jane’s care, and it’s so reassuring to know he’s being looked after so well. Barkley absolutely loves his time with her, and we couldn’t ask for a better doggy daycare!

About: Hi! My name is Alice. I absolutely love dogs. I have my own 6 year old dog called Monty who I rescued 5 years ago. Having my own dog has given me plenty of experience of training and caring for a dog. I love being around animals and will be sure to treat your dog like one of my own. I live with my husband who also loves dogs. We both work from home so we can be around all day for walks and your dog won't be left alone. I currently work from home, as does my husband. We have a routine including walks during the day with our dog but if you have any special requirements I will do my best to accommodate your needs. We live in a house with a large fenced in garden. We have our own dog called Monty who spends most of his time sleeping in the sunshine. There is plenty of space in our house for dogs and they would have free roam. They can go on the sofas or bed and we have multiple dog beds in different rooms of the house.

About: Over the years I have many pets from hampsters to horses and pretty much everything in between. I love all things animals. I worked for a national dog walking company which lead to my interest in training dogs. After loosing my own 14 year old german shepherd working with dogs seemed to be the next step. I currently own 1 cat, 11 tarantulas, 1 snake, 1 lizard and a horse. So as you can tell I'm more than happy to work with exotics as well. All breeds of dog are welcome with me including those deemed as problem dogs. I have qualifications in canine phsycology, behaviour, nutrition and training. I also hold dog and cat first aid qualifications. With bigger animals I have stable management and equine psychology. I always provide plenty of pictures of walks and home visits. I work Monday to Friday from 8.30 to 5.30. Unless i have home board dog in which case he/she will be with me all day. Home boarding is also Monday to Friday. I have a yard that is completely fenced in and the gate is securely padlocked at all times. I have a car so we can go on plenty of adventures. Dogs will be fed on the schedule provided by their owners and only on the food provided. All small furries are kept in their cages and fed on the same food they come with.

About: Hi, 🌼 I've taken care of dogs & cats my whole life, having owned Golden retrievers, Springer Spaniels, Great Danes, Border Terriers and Cockerpoos. 🐾 I currently own two lovely Springer Spaniel girls between 1 and 2. They are very sociable and well trained. 💛 I offer weekday boarding, weekend boarding and doggy day care weekdays and weekends. I will do my best to accommodate for emergency bookings. 🫶 You can trust me to provide care for your animals as if they were my own. 🐶 Your dog will need to be friendly with other dogs and humans. Neutered males only please (don’t want any cute little accidents!) or intact/spayed females. ✨️ I am mindful that each animal has a different level of need, so I will discuss this with you before booking to ensure everyone is comfortable. 🐶 I can send regular pup-dates to put your mind at ease and have experience administering medication. 🌳 I am lucky to live close to some lovely scenic walks. We walk at least twice a day and I have a large garden for them to play in. Note: your dog will need to be friendly with other dogs and neutered if male, they may be left alone for longer stays, as I can have visits in the weekday Tuesday - Friday. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions. 🐶❤️😺 The dogs have a minimum of 1 walk daily for up to 2 hours, they also receive enrichment throughout the day and meal times twice daily in the morning and evening. I have a large secure garden, I can provide regular toilet breaks and play time, including walks around the local woods and fields. I can provide off or on lead walks.

About: Myself and my husband have had dogs our whole lives , however since having kids we have always looked after family and friends dogs for short and long periods of time. The only reason we don’t have an animal ourselves is due to going away and we also have the joy from our families pets we care for too. I am a full time mum with two daughters and my husband works shifts so we are around all day every day between us. School runs are the only time we wouldn’t be able to have a dog with us due to the school not allowing dogs onto the playground. We are a fun and active family so walking dogs would never be a problem! Our house is safe for kids, fully fenced out back and doors locked , so the safety for a dog escaping the house wouldn’t be an issue. We also look after our families dogs so we are very used to having dogs around.

About: Hi there, I'm Charlie. I am canine first aid trained. I also have previous experience with my own dog walking business so I am a very experienced dog handler. Here is a little bit about me and what I can offer you and your dogs. I have lots of experience with dogs both as a dog owner and also by fostering dogs for an animal charity. I've fostered dogs and rehabilitated them from street and kennel dogs into happy family pets. I will only ever use positive reinforcement training for dogs, I will always be kind and patient with any animals in my care. We also have a secured and fenced in dog field that I often privately rent for my dogs to run free in. Your dogs will always have a good adventure with me when out on their walks. I love taking photos and videos to share with owners, I think it's a great way for you to see what adventures your pets are having. I'm also happy to do day visits, daycare and boarding. I am home all day so your dogs will always have a companion when staying over. They will get lots of fuss and a soft place to relax or sleep. We also have 2 dog crates for those pups that feel more secure in them. We have tons of dog toys, a kid sized paddling pool for those warmer days and lots of great smelling dog friendly shampoos should your mucky puppy need a wash. You can also expect lots of photos from your pooches walks and adventures with me. I have experience walking, re-homing and rehabilitating foster and rescue dogs of different breeds and sizes so your most precious gift is safe with me.   Our home has a secure and fenced in garden so your dog will have plenty of opportunity to visit the toilet when we are not out on walks. I'd love to meet you and your pets for a free meet and greet before you decide if I am the right dog walker or boarder for you. If you have any questions for me please do get in touch, I'd love to hear from you. I WFH flexibly so I am always around and I work with my dogs around me and not closed off in a office. Dogs are walked twice a day once in the morning and again in the late afternoon or evening. Walks range from 30 mins for our senior or disabled dogs that can't handle the bigger walks. I offer 1 hr walks for our young and healthier pups that need that extra time. For senior/disabled dogs we can also break up the walks into shorter but more frequent walks. I'm always happy to accommodate the needs of your pets. I have a fenced in garden so your pup is free to roam, in the warmer months I keep the door to the garden open pretty much all day, so dogs can let themselves out when they like. I do keep an eye on dogs when it's warmer to ensure they don't over heat, so we'll bring them inside to let them cool down and also avoid the hottest part of the day. All pets are pet, watered, toileted and taken care of first before the humans of the house. We have a lovely brook nearby that is lovely for dogs to splash in during summer. I also have cooling mats for summer, and electric blankets for winter (temp is controlled) which our senior pups really love.Lots of puzzle toys and feeders. I like to break up the day with games and playtime for pups. We love a treasure hunt in the garden for treats. We also love to play catch/chase and training games. I have kongs that I like to put peanut butter or treats in and then freeze them and give them to the dogs in summer. We also have lots of down time and opportunities to rest. In short: Lots of enrichment games, walks, access to garden, cuddles and down time

About: I come from a large family filled with a variety of pet animals (including dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters and fish) and have received a lot of hands on experience, where I have thrived off caring and playing with them. I am extremely passionate about all animals and I am a very caring, empathetic and confident person. I pride myself in the ability to learn quickly and perform tasks efficiently and to the best of my ability. My previous pet dog had severe arthritis, dementia and health problems for many years. I helped care for him and make his life as comfortable as possible in his times of need, whilst still encouraging him to have fun and play. After his death, we gained a young Berdoodle (St Bernard cross Poodle) dog. Training him has been so different from others due to his incredibly large size but has been so rewarding. I believe the most important aspects of pet sitting, is to keep them entertained, either by taking them on a walk, playing with them or stroking them. It is important to prevent the pet feeling separation anxiety by distracting them as much as possible. Meanwhile, I think it is essential to respect the owner’s way of training and routine and follow this as similarly as possible. This includes, mealtimes, walk times and desired behaviour from the pet. I currently work part time and I work from home, so have all the free time to look after your pet. I can’t wait to meet them! I have a completely fenced garden. There will of course, be a water bowl out at all times. I will feed them according to your instructions. And I will give them all the cuddles!

About: Hi there, my name is Beth, I'm 29 years old and I work in management in the NHS. I have grown up with animals and have never been without a pet! When I was born my mum was fostering for the Cats Protection League and had 9 foster cats. I grew up with a passion and love for animals and learnt how to care for them and meet their needs from a young age. At 10 years of age, we rescued my beloved dog Bruce who was a Labrador cross collie. Bruce was my best friend but he sadly passed away a couple of years ago. I have spent over 10 years pet sitting and dog walking alongside my full time job. I also am a regular volunteer at Soi Dog foundation in Phuket, Thailand where I have gained experience working with disabled, reactive and extremely nervous dogs. I am able to provide all services (dog sitting, drop ins, house sitting and boarding. I am located in Belper :) I currently work full time but from home, making dog sitting in your own home perfect for me as well as being available for drop in visits throughout my working day. I am available for walking early morning and from 4pm onwards on weekdays and all day on weekends. I like to find out about how you care for your pet in your own home so I can maintain as much of the same routine for your pet as possible. That means feeding at the times you want, walking the amount of distance/time you want, allowing on furniture/not on furniture, etc. I will care for your pet exactly how you want me to and they are guaranteed to be treated like family.
