About: I've been around dogs of different kinds all of my life. Looking after friends and family dogs, feeding, walking, bathing, grooming, cuddling ;) Cuddles on the sofa, zoomies or walks in the park dogs I enjoy it all! I'm a Personal Assistant who is lucky enough to work from home. I started my career working with children in schools, I was then Cabin Crew for a short while, until I found a job I love. DBS checked ✅ Historically First Aid trained including advanced aviation med (certificates lapsed) I am not quite in a position to have my own but I'd love to help care for your pooch. Most of the week I work from home. I am normally in the office one day a week and will be out of the house for around 10hrs so would avoid have visitors, as I have no one to pop in to let them out. Weekends I am home or local to home. There are no other pets or children in the house. I have a large kitchen which is safe for dogs, which leads out onto a secure paved fenced garden. I have multiple walks local to my house, with the Peak District a short drive away for longer walks.

About: I've been a dog owner for over 15 years and have done Rover in the past. I'm a relaxed dog sitter that understands dog behaviour and I would never use any form of punishment training. Your dog will be looked after like they are my own with care and kindness. I work mainly from home but have a routine with my own large rescue dog that is usually first thing in the morning and around 4-5pm. I can offer regular walks around these times, some doggy day care (Ollie loves having friends to play with!) and also occasional dog boarding. I do sometimes leave the house for work for around 4 hours so boarding will need to be arranged upfront and for dogs that are ok to be left for a while. I have a secure garden at home and a van that I can collect your dog in to take on walks - we usually go for an hour to the woods or moors and Ollie loves company!

About: I’ve owned dogs for 40years. I have experience with labradors, shihtzus, spaniels and poodles. I have 6 cats in my household alongside 3 shih tzus. I’ve always been an animal lover having grown up with horses, dogs and cats. I’m a retired marketing director and so have plenty of time for your beloved dogs! I am retired so have an open schedule to fit your pets into, I spend the majority of the day at home with my other dogs. I have a fenced garden but I’m surrounding by fields which are perfect for your dog to run around freely on walks. I also have a nature reserve just a short walk from me which provides fresh running water for your doggies to paddle in during this hot summer!

“I can’t recommend Leyton highly enough. Sid stayed with him for doggy daycare during the weekdays while I was away on holiday, with my partner dropping him off on his way to work and collecting him at the end of the day. Sid is a Staffy and a strong dog, so one of the things that was important to me when choosing someone was finding a sitter who was confident and comfortable looking after and walking a bigger, stronger dog. I had absolutely no worries with Leyton. Sid clearly loved his time there. He had walks, plenty of playtime and always came home happy and completely worn out, which is definitely a good sign! Leyton also fed him his morning and evening meals and gave him his medication, which made things so much easier for us. I really appreciated getting a lovely update at the end of each day telling me what Sid had been up to and how he’d got on. It was very reassuring being away and knowing he was happy and being properly looked after. Sid was unfortunately attacked by another dog while out with my partner over the weekend. When he went back to Leyton on the Monday, Leyton took such good care of him and kept a close eye on him, which I really appreciated. It was also obvious that Leyton genuinely enjoyed having Sid there, rather than it simply feeling like a dog-sitting service. Sid clearly felt comfortable and happy with him too. We’ll definitely be using Leyton again, not just for holidays but for the odd day when we’re going to be out for a long time and don’t want Sid home alone all day. Highly recommended. Thank you, Leyton, for taking such good care of our boy! 🐾”

About: Dog lady, love dogs! Owner and carer of dogs for 20yrs. Recently studying dog behaviour course and have clients for both dog walking and behaviour therapy. Kisses and cuddles a plenty!! I’m a (young) retired teacher. Retrained as a dog behaviourist. I have two primary age children and need to be around for school pickup and drop off but I’m flexible with the rest of my time. I’m available Monday to Friday I have a fenced garden and two crazy fun pupsters to play with your fur baby if they enjoy play. Or an 11 yr old guy who likes to snooze if that’s what your little one prefers. Alternatively, for dog walking I have a dog mobile that I can pick up and safely collect and return your furry family member. I never walk more than three dogs at a time and by arrangement can walk separately if needed. I’m calm and patient and love my time with four legged friends so, their health and safety is paramount to me at all times 😍

About: My boyfriend and I both grew up with family dogs, and ever since moving in together had our own dog. We trained her via doggy school since she was a little pup and took her on many adventures that went as far as moving to the UK with her. We regularly looked after our families dogs as well when they went away on holiday. We unfortunately had to say goodbye to our little girl recently due to age. While we are looking for our next sweetheart, we have an abundance of love, walks and empty spots on the sofa for your furry friend! I work from home, but I occasionally have to travel for work and my partner is only 10 minutes away - both with flexible hours. This allows us to plan our days around your dogs needs! We live less then a minute walk from a big park and can easily go for multiple walks a day if they’re up to it. We also have a fully enclosed garden with space for running around. We’re flexible with your dogs needs, whether they require a crate to sleep in, prefer to sleep on the couch or on their doggy bed, just let us know. Near the end of her life, our dog became blind with different health issues. Going through this gives us experience to also take care of (senior) dogs who have a complex medical history. We have full flexibility for how we plan our working days. Whether we wake up early to go for a walk before breakfast, use our lunch break, or swap our evening sports for a long walk, we will adjust based on your dogs usual routine. With our enclosed garden, there’s plenty of playtime opportunities as well! In the weekend, we are able to make sure one of us is at home for most of the day if required. The garden is spacious and dog friendly. The house has enough room to place the dog’s personal bed or crate if needed. They are more then welcome to join us (and sleep) on our sofa as well. Feeding and walking are arranged to what they are used to, no matter how many times a day. Different medical routines are easily incorporated - experience with eye drops as well as regular pills.

About: I've taken care of dogs for my entire life. From alsatians to chihuahuas I've looked after them all and know that no two dogs are the same but all dogs deserve love and attention. I'm currently working part time and from home so I have plenty of time for cuddles and snuggles. Having your companion will be my excuse to move between online meetings meaning we are looking after each other. I have a fenced garden and live on a very quiet estate with country walks and fields less than 5 minutes away. We have an open plan living room so even in the house there is room to wander.
