About: I grew up with dogs in our household and for the last 20 years I've had my own dogs but lost my last one, Sanza, a Toy Poodle, in June 2025. I dog sit two Dachshund sisters aged 15 regularly and enjoy it very much. I love dogs and would treat your dogs as if they were my own. Your pet's comfort, happiness and safety is my priority. I have experience of giving medication via injection as my dog was diabetic and had to have insulin injections twice a day as well as oral medication. I also have experience of looking after senior dogs as I have cared for dogs who are 14 and 15 years old. I am available to look after your dogs in my home or at your home so they have as little disruption to their routine as possible. I am retired so I'am at home all day so can look after your pets whenever you need me. I'm very flexible and can adjust my schedule to fit in around your needs. I have an enclosed garden which is fully fenced/ brick wall. The garden is very secure. I live in a semi detached bungalow so there are no stairs to climb. I have lots of toys for your dogs to play with. I am available to look after them in their own home or at my home. I am retired so I am around all the time to look after your dogs. I prefer to look after small dogs but will look after medium sized dogs as long as they walk well on the lead as I walk with a crutch so can't manage to walk large dogs who pull or lunge too strongly when they react to other dogs. I do not look after large dogs for safety reasons.

About: I have had dogs my entire life and done volunteer work in dog shelters abroad. I’ve had four dogs of my own who all lived to old age, alongside dog boarding for friends and families dogs. More recently my blind diabetic dog who was 17. I have experience in caring for all breeds and sizes of dogs, including puppies and older dogs requiring medications. I understand how difficult it can be finding dog care and not wanting to use kennels which can be stressful for dogs. I live in a large dog friendly house on a nature reserve, with lots of walks on my doorstep and a large doggy day care room where dogs can play or chill out on the large dog sofa, beds. Whilst I am not ready to have any more dogs of my own, I miss having dogs around and I’m in the ideal position to be able to look after your dog/dogs here in the Peak District. I’m offering a bespoke dog boarding, day care, tailored to your dogs requirements. Rest assured that your dog will be on a holiday of its own with me. I am the biggest dog lover you’re likely to meet. Your pet will not have to fit into my routine, I will be fitting into your pets routine. Your pet will have my full attention whilst with me. We will be going on lots of long walks together and having fun. My house is very dog friendly and your dog would be free to roam around all the house. I would keep your dog in the same routine as you’d have at home. Your dog could have access to supervised outdoor space and would be taken on regular walks. Please note, I do not have a big garden but I do have an outdoor yard and decking areas, also a small front garden and patio area. Dogs would have regular walks. I have done volunteer work in dog shelters and can handle all types of dogs. I am also experienced in managing any physical ailments such as diabetes etc.
About: Since I was 6 we have had cats, and I often look after friends dogs when they go away, my last dog was called Tara and she was an angel :) I am currently living a good life in my Luton van, a home on wheels, and am open to stopping for a longer stay at your home to take care of your pets. About: Hello! I’m Brigid. I’m currently having a break from work, but can’t pull myself away totally, so am offering some pet sitting and dog walking hours. By nature of the job, I’m an all animals type of person, but have a particular soft spot for the kitties. Please note that whilst I am a fully qualified vet, I will not provide any veterinary work, perform any clinical exams, or give any veterinary advice. For me to do the aforementioned is neither legal nor ethical. What I can offer is peace of mind for you if you have a pet with a medical condition and needs specific treatment administering, eg diabetics requiring injections, or pets with dry eye. My day to day work is keeping animals happy and healthy, detecting potential medical problems, and administering medications. I do sadly have lots of experience performing CPR in emergency situations, and am full capable of performing first aid in order to get your pet to their registered vet. If I decide your pet ever needs to be seen by their registered veterinarian, I will contact you immediately. I will be available most days, including the Christmas period and weekends. I’m an active walker regardless, and have lots of routes I can take your little one on with me. All whilst taking care of my own cat, Witchwitton! I currently cannot look after pets within my own home. All pet sits would need to occur within your home, but I am open to visiting multiple times a day or staying longer hours.

About: Looked after friends and family dogs for 15 years.Take my brothers cockerspaniel out for a 5 mile walk 5 days a week while he is at work and I'm a retired Fireman. Been a member of Trusted housesitter for around 6 years where I have a 5 star review for the 6 sits I have done. On this site I don't get payed anything and therefore becoming quite expensive for me when you consider petrol etc. As I am retired I can fit a sit into my schedule unless I'm on holiday. so long as I'm given plenty of notice I could be available. In a pet owners home I will follow the owners instructions on the need of the dogs. My house has an enclosed back garden and I'm near the peak district for walks
